a space in which dancers learn or rehearse for upcoming performances. usually taught by a dance instructor, but available to all after school hours are done, as long as they lock up. smooth and hard covered flooring, the mirrors decorating the wall in every aspect, sometimes accompanied by ballet bars.
the booming sound of the music thrums and vibrates against the walls and could be heard a few feet away. the melodies that are typically trapped against closed doors, resonant against the floor, along with the violent, determined steps from the dancer.
typically, the air grows warm and humid, the heavy pants eliciting from the mouths of the dancers weren't rare. sometimes, they'd just hang out on the floor after such a hard, satisfying routine. sweaty, sweaty, sweaty. chill out here to watch dancers dance their routine or just chill, y'know.
