@♥ mary c。 he was relatively unnerved, despite knowing a week had passed and the anxiety knotting in his throat occasionally. maybe it was the magic of having moshi around that helped dissipate some of that. the bullmastiff again, mindlessly but more than happily, crossed the distance to retrieve the stick, returning it to junmyeon once more: this time, junmyeon was frozen in place at the sight of a familiar being. it was weird. he hadn’t seen her all week. it put his stomach in knots all over again, worst case scenarios running through his head as he watched her approach. he greeted her with a wave but no smile apparent on his tight-lipped countenance. in her other hand was an omnious object: a book. the only thing that grounded junmyeon in reality right now was moshi, the large dog nuzzling junmyeon’s hand with a whine, as if also in tune with the way junmyeon’s heart slammed against his chest. so many questions rested on his tongue as she came closer and his brows furrow. he wets his lip, before humbly muttering, “i only expected a yes or no... should i be worried?”

@♡ junmyeon k。 Mary closed her deep brown eyes as she walked through the sand, allowing it to wander its way between her toes. She'd left her shoes in her car anyway. She slowly made her way across the beach, knowing well of her destination but knowing she'd have plenty of time to reach it. Her eyes fluttered open to make sure she hadn't run into anything just yet, then shifting over to her specific destination. Junmyeon. She'd been told to find him here if she'd found any information on his brother. And she had. After pulling several strings among her fellow angels along with a few humans, she managed to find a lead. It wasn't much, but it was something. She wasn't a miracle worker after all. The fallen angel resisted the urge to smile at the sight of the dog the man was playing with. If there was anything in this world she still cared about, it was dogs. Selfless, precious creatures. They showed remorse much like humans but were considerably more honest and loyal. She continued her journey towards him, raising a hand and waving in greeting, then holding up the notebook she had brought along. It contained all of her research notes; everything from map coordinates to phone numbers to names of people in connection with Junmyeon's family. What he didn't know is that she had found out about his family tragedy. The very reason why he always felt a little broken to her.

@♥ mary c。 moshi cleared meters easily with his long cantering strides. he kicked up sand in his wake, chasing the stick junmyeon threw a fair distance ahead: not his best throw, but a decent one. enough that junmyeon could rest from his long jog. he had been more anxious in this week than he had been in years, and exercised more than he ever thought he would - with the beach so close to the facility and never having lived near it, he decided he ought to make used of it. "good boy," he smiles softly, petting the dog and rubbing his head with pleased coos as he takes the stick, "who's a good boy, hmm? who's a good boy-- FETCH!" and he launches the stick further, trying to find solace in the late spring breeze and the frigid water lapping at his feet.
