@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ "I thought you'd know more than me," Frank shrugged and looked at Maria. "You should just go home," he said with a gentle smile as he saw Maria yawn. "I'll get home safe don't you worry, yeah?" he put effort into patting Maria gently on the shoulder, going out of his way to do that. "Or should I see you off?"

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "I don't know why you ask me, I don't know all that much about magic." She chuckled at the other's obvious frustration "In this day and age you can always find out such things for yourself." Maria mimicked him like she did earlier, some part of her was happy he was getting somewhat curious about powers and the other things they could do. "Oh, I was just messing around, you should know by now to not take me seriously." She shrugged carelessly with a yawn, at this point she wanted to soak in a tub with her rubber ducky and fall asleep. "I don't think anyone wants to go out with a bang as a bum, your fear is reasonable."

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ "I'm asking you that," Frank rolled his head back in light frustration but still a smile across his face. "How would I know? I'm currently happy that I know who I am," he said that playfully, yet it was often a concern of his. In a town that put every belief he used to have to an end, striking him completely anew with all sort of surprises and fairy-tale like facts. "For you? I don't know, you mentioned lotion and rain. So I figured that it was some sort of a safety net for you." Frank squinted at Maria a he crossed her arms over her chest, curious why she's started being so serious. "That's the point. I can't believe I have not done that yet. I guess the fear of dying alone with the bums on the street is stronger than my lust for freedom." It as not all quite true. He has got more freedom than before, thanks to Maria and Kristine, because they have not been coercing him into troublesome situations. And if anything, if his parents knew about either of them and knew that they both were girls, they wouldn't thing very badly of it. After all, as Frank has mentioned to Maria before, his mother always desired a girl instead of a bratty, ratty, misbehaving boy.

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Can we?" Maria asked surprised, if a goblin could make it rain in one area then that was as powerful as a goblin could get. She knew a little magic from her days in school but nothing too advanced, maybe she would have gone to the charm school in town if she wanted to learn more magic. "And how can making it rain be useful? That's only used for distractions." She said in very matter of fact way as she crossed her arms over her chest. "If it was anyone else they would have ran away to start a new life."

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ "Can't you goblins make it rain or something? That would, for once, be a useful supernatural skill," Frank wondered. It wasn't all that impossible in his mind. After everyone who he had met and got to know enough to know what they were capable of doing, it wouldn't be as surprising as the fact that her kind ate his. "Don't call it," Frank snorted at the ridiculous thought that his parents may be actually just around the corner. "I can't believe I've survived under such circumstances, with a quite decent life until now. It's quite shocking, now that I think about it."

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "If only they could hear you right now." Maria cackled, whatever he had to drink at the nightclub was surely showing through but maybe not as much, it wasn't the first time she saw him let loose but he seemed a little tipsy, it was cute. "Lucky you, my parents would ban me from coming near the house if I smelled of anything other than lotion and the rain." She scrunched her nose up, even if his parents were human she thought he could still use a good roll in the mud.

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ "Don't worry about that," Frank said with a disregarding wave of his hand, dismissing the whole idea. It was not like he has never drank and got home drunk, it used to be quite a habit back in the day. And he thought that only a glass wouldn't be all that obvious. "Anyway, they are pretty ordinary human beings, they don't have super smell or anything, they're not dogs, at least I hope," Frank' eye shot open in disbelieving shock, how did that idea even come to his mind? He was surely going mad.

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ Maria playfully rolled her eyes at him "I won't, you're too skinny to eat anyway." She commented with a small snort, she couldn't help but wonder what Frank thought of their friendship after he said something like that. "Right, anyways, how do I sober you up before your parents get a whiff of you? I don't want them to kill you on the spot." She joked, but she knew from the description of them all she could picture was The Twits from her nightmares.

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ “Okay, fine, just don’t eat me,” Frank said the proudest he has ever been for saying something so stupid. “I can’t believe I actually said that,” Frank placed his palm over his forehead a shocked smile with hint of disbelief took place over his face. “Ignore that... I said nothing,” Frank was stunned. It could be the alcohol, but it did not make much sense.

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Does it?" Maria asked him with a confused expression on her face, she didn't see anything wrong with what she said, maybe it did make him sound a little weak but she wanted to make sure he made it home safe and sound. "Stop that, I'm your friend who enjoys your presence enough to steal you away from work, am I not? So let me walk you home, even if it's supposed to be the other way around." She said rather firmly but she still had her genuine smile on her face.

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ “Uhm, alright,” Frank shrugged, not giving the sudden change of plan too much attention. “Sounds weird when you put it that way,” Frank pointed out slightly but decided to stop for a second. “You don’t have to see me home,” he uttered with an amused smile.”Just say you had enough of my company,” he chuckled again. “You’ve done enough already, so don’t feel obligated to offer walking me home. You don’t have to as long as you don’t want to. Aaand it should be the other way around,” he finished on a funnier note.

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ Maria glanced around at their surroundings, they were still around the plaza but particularly nowhere as night settled upon them. "Hey, why don't I walk you home? I'll go to the herbal shop tomorrow because they're most likely closed at this hour." She suggested, even though she lived in town she still had to go out of town to check on her family. She shrugged nonchalantly "I dunno, I was just being silly."

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ “Ouch,” Frank laughed and whined, grabbing his arm where Maria slapped him. It didn’t hurt as much as he portrayed it to, but for the sake of comedy, he stooped as low as to embarrass himself. “I don’t follow,” Frank grimaced perplexed by the question. “Change what? If I want to be the first course or the second? Or what do you mean?”

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Shut up." Maria laughed and gave the other a hard slap on the arm, she was done with him, for more reasons than one. "Hm, I guess I did befriend my meal, would you like for that to change?" She raised a brow at him, Frank would have to be the last living thing on earth for her to eat him, it wasn't like she ate humans in her spare time anyway.

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ “Because it’s you that we’re discussing. That’s quite self explanatory, I’d say,” Frank said, nonchalantly lifting and dropping his shoulders once. “So like... I befriended my murderer?” Frank asked in a way one would when they need affirmation whether they comprehend the subject correctly. “Or you befriended your meal?” Frank hummed in thought.

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ A simper propped itself on Maria's lips as she responded to him "I know you do, but what makes you think like that." She wanted to fall into a pit of her own laughter, it was hilarious because everyone said the same thing about her whenever it came to anything related to . She snickered as Frank's tantrum "Sorry, as much as I don't like to warn my human friends how much we want to eat you off Magnolia grounds, you can't stand blindly in the face of danger." She was regarded as a predator in their world to but she was not the biggest one.

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ "I doubt that," Frank almost spat as the disbelief ran through him. "Oh dear lord, why are you saying this? Now I won't be able to go on my evening walks anymore!" Frank complained loudly, almost whining. He sure was scared of the beings, but he tried to push those thoughts as far away as possible, not letting himself succumb to such basic feelings. It was never safe, he knew that, but he didn't like to be reminded of it.

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "What an assumption, my kinks are pretty basic." She admitted, but she definitely was not going into detail about that, the last time she did was when she was playing a game of truth or dare with her cousins and her aunt busted them for talking about "such explicit things". "Well, compared to a wolf-vamp maybe a ghoul-vamp is more possible, surprisingly, wendigos have mated with humans before killing them. Stay away from those, they kill you on the spot." She added quickly, she was sure as much as Frank was used to the kind creatures around town, there were some who were simply to be avoided.

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ "Weird kink? Being clawed at during the deed is quite the common 'kink'. I believe you personally have much weirder fancies," Frank chuckled, poking fun at Maria, now that he was, once again, reminded that she wasn't of his sort. At the same time, it reminded him of Maria's latest interest, but he didn't dare to pry more after the talk a few moments ago in the club. "I wouldn't know," Frank said in a matter-of-fact fashion, raising his eyebrows at Maria. "But I'm somewhat sure that has already happened, even though you point it out as unlikely."

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "What the hell, Frank." Maria let out a loud laugh as she threw her head back, she had no clue where the conversation was going at this point. The expression on her face was one of confusion until she somewhat understood what the other was talking about "Wha- gross, I hope those poor girls weren't forced to scratch your behind until their nails broke. That's a weird kink you have, sir." She was totally joking, but some part of her wondered more about the other's past relationships, she blamed her nosiness for such intrusive thoughts. "That's about as impossible as a hybrid vampire and werewolf."

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ "I will," Frank said affirming his previous statement with a firm nod of his head. "It will be the same as being consumed by any other person. Whether it is literal cannibalism or emotional consumption, it's all the same," Frank sighed a little, a comfortable smile on his face. He knew all about emotional consumption after all and at times, it did feel like he was being eaten up gradually. "I don't either," Frank agreed with Maria, but had something else to add: "But they scratch quite good." It was meant as a humor tool, a tongue and cheek statement accompanied by just the tip of Frank's tongue sticking out from between his teeth with an overall mischievous expression at his ambiguous sentence. And yet again, he would know all about that, thanks to his last relationship back in London. Now it seemed like it happened decades ago, yet it didn't go farther back than a few months. "That doesn't surprise me," he chuckled. "Perhaps I am both."

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Ew?" Maria laughed in disbelief, she was expecting "ew" too but something along the lines of "cool". "You won't be saying that the day I decide to gobble you up without warning." She joked even though it wasn't much of a joke at all, outside of town there were goblins who feasted on lost humans. "If you say so, I can't see how anyone can wear those long nails but they do look pretty." She said as she looked down at her own hands, her nails were short but clean and her skin was dry from today's work. "The first time I spoke to you I thought you were a vampire- or a ghoul, it had to be either one of those."

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ "Ew," Frank laughed jokingly. He was not judgmental, not after what he has experienced in this town anyway. "You're not much different from us then," Frank chuckled and snuffed his cigarette against the nearest street lamp slope, throwing it away after into the nearest rubbish bin. "Actually, we are kind of scaly too, especially after drinking too much vodka, I count slimy a sweaty, which is very common for us. Ladies always pay money to have their long nails and don't have me starting with the satellite ears," Frank laughed after explaining the details of their similarities, which were, of course, very different, however Frank personally liked to assimilate other beings to himself, or his kind, just to make himself feel better.

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "I guess." was all Maria said before she decided to leave it alone, if the other wanted to make a change for himself then she supported it. She let out a quiet breathy laugh at the remark and stuck her hands in the pockets of her coat "For one, we're not bald and midget looking gremlins. Some of us are green but we're not that bright of a green, you humans draw us like we're the cutest things on earth." She always laughed at the images of "goblins" that came up whenever she looked up her own kind. Our skin is scaly, a bit slimy, our nails grow longer, and so do our ears. We're ugly elves."

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ “No, you’re right to a certain degree,” Frank said shrugging his cheek almost brushing his shoulder. He understood Maria’s advices, he got it. It was not like he did nothing to get away, afterall he has been doing everything he could to regain his parents’ trust. Although it seemed like it became a pass time activity for them, like a hobby of some deranged way. “Oh,” Frank went silent for a bit, afraid to even look her way as the fact that she was anything but human hit him once again. “Try garlic anyway,” he said in a jester way, trying to lift a mood a little. “What is the true form of a... g-goblin, you say?”

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Frank, you don't have to force yourself to be anything, I'm sorry." She said with distress in her voice, not even the cloud of smoke could phase her right now, she just wanted to know where Frank's head was at now. "It's not that kind of sickness." She shook her head with a small smile on her face, she never had to explain what the fever of age was to anyone, in all honesty she thought of Frank as another creature instead of human. "It's a fever- well, phase, all goblins go through it but it's a terrible fever and some parts of us transform into our true nature."

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ "You want me to be independent, do you not? Let us go then," Frank said breathing out the thick smoke as he walked beside Maria down the street. "Ah, the mother figure. Garlic helps," Frank said the first thing that came to his mind, remembering the times he and his mates used to have garlic "shots" when one of them showed any sign of any illness.

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ Maria simply nodded as she walked to Frank but she was surprised by his question the most "I-I need to get herbs, incense sticks, and some rubbing creams. One of the little ones are sick." She really wanted to say sorry more than anything but it seemed like the other wasn't looking for an apology. "Are you sure you don't want to go home?"

@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ "Am I?" Frank stopped abruptly, looking around in confusion, his eyebrows low and squished together. Indeed, he was going the wrong way, however he knew the town quite well by now and he was up for a walk to get a clearer head. After all, that was habitual when he felt emotional any other time. He waited until Maria caught up and started slowly walking beside her. "What do you need to grab for your parents?" he asked as if it was the plan all along, to go with Maria for her errands.

@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Frank, you're going the wrong way..." Maria started to say as she walked after him but she knew it wasn't helping, she literally pushed him away. She wondered if she should just go home before she made things worse than they are now but her feet kept her going in the same direction as him, but she decided to stay quiet.
