@¢нσииαѕσяи ѕαנαкυℓ (в) He scoffed in pretend offence at her comment and pointed an accusing finger at the beta's back "Just because of that snarky comment we will be rewatching Sharknado!" He said confidently setting the movie outside the box as the chosen one.

He couldn't help the little laugh that left his lips at her surprised yelp. He enjoyed towering over her because she always looked so small, and it gave him the feeling that he needed to protect her. A feeling alpha's enjoyed quite a lot, especially when related to people they cared about. This feeling offered him the comfort that even if she didn't want it or need it, he could still protect her if it came to that, and even if it wasn't for Jungwoo, he could still be there for someone. Even if it wasn't for his soulmate or his family, he still had friends he could help and protect. And that's the feeling that kept him grounded.
The corners of his lips were still turned up as he looked down at her "I'm guessing it must really be a beta thing since my beta best friend is also rather short..." He teased yet again. he never seemed to get tired of it. Her height was definitely one of his favourite things about her.
"Plus if I keep them on the lower shelves you won't need my help and that's no fun!" He replied with a small fake pout.

He almost cracked at the expression on her face as he put the bowl back but manage to hold himself back enough to listen to her reply before letting out a loud laugh along with a shrug of his shoulders.
"I thought you might want to feel what it's like to be tall..." He said already reaching down to pick her up, his smile stretching further up his face.
He slid his arm behind her knees and pulled her towards his shoulder, wrapping his arms strongly around her legs to keep her steady and pushing up so she was sitting on his left shoulder, one of his hands holding her thigh just above her knee while the other was set on the counter to help push himself up.
When he was finally standing, he looked up to her with a proud smile and took a step forward so she was closer to the shelf where the bowl was placed.
"What are you talking about? You're not heavy at all!" Yukhei being Yukhei, he was glad he got to show off his 'alpha strength' as the girl had called it. Not that alphas were strong or muscled, but it was in their genetics, and it was just easier for alphas to gain muscle mass, so his work out was definitely paying off.

(no worries babe ^^)

@¢нσииαѕσяи ѕαנαкυℓ (в) His eyes were still down on the package contents as she spoke and he ended up letting out a small laugh at her reply. ‘Mopey Alpha Care Package!’ sounded ridiculous, but it was exactly what he needed. Actually what was ridiculous was the fact that /he/ needed something like this. But he was thankful for Sorn. If there was one person that could make him feel slightly better right now, it was her, and she was managing.
It was rather soft, her small hand against his broad and muscled shoulder, but he still felt the quick supportive squeeze on his shoulder.
Before he could do anything else, the popcorn package was snapped from his hand and he was being ushered to the couch "I'm always ready!"
He quickly offered her a playful offended expression pointing down at the box with the movies "These? These are art! Some of the best movies in existence!" He said as he took his package with the snacks and movies and set it down on his coffee table.

For the first few moments, he was too distracted by all the movie possibilities inside his box to even notice the sound of the multiple cabinets being opened and closed in his kitchen just a few steps from where he was standing, the 'aha' the girl let out though, that got his attention.
He turned his face towards the girl and a quick smirk made it's way to his lips "Can't reach? Need some help?" He asked the teasing tone clear in his voice as he set the two movies in his hands back down before making his way to the kitchen again.
"Let me get it for you, you tiny beta!" He said playfully as he stood tall next to her, making their height difference even more apparent than it already was and easily reaching up for the bowl before putting it back where it was and giving her another teasing look "Or do you want to get it yourself? I can pick you up if you want to reach it?"

@¢нσииαѕσяи ѕαנαкυℓ (в) He wasn't facing her, but he heard her steps inside the apartment as well as the door closing right before her voice sounded. He let out yet another sigh as he pushed his elbows on the counter and allowed his head to fall on his palms before running them through his messy hair.
He was carefully listening to her as her voice always managed to calm him down and keep his thoughts from straying to places they shouldn't. As she sat next to him he turned his head slightly to look at her. He knew they had seen each other rather recently, but his nights were mostly spent rustling around in bed or on the couch and seemed mostly endless. He also wasn't keeping notes of the times or days, so if she had told him it had been a week, he might actually believe her.

He gave her a look at that last question and shrugged his shoulders "Well, yeah... I guess I have not been very busy..." He replied softly. His school was on break and the company manager that used to work for his father gave him a break from all his duties so he could gather himself. He wasn't sure if that had been a wise decision at the moment since staying home alone all the time did not help his case at all, but he did have a point since Yukhei wouldn't have been able to focus on anything and would probably end up messing up important documents or something.

He leant back a little in surprise as she placed a pack in his lap and he only looked down for a few moments before looking back up at her. "What is this?" He asked allowing his eyes to drop back to the package and its contents.
His heart warmed up at the cute decorations, and the corners of his lips twitched up into a small smile, almost invisible to anyone who wasn't looking for it, yet there it was, one of the very few genuine smiles he managed since he'd last seen a certain male. He slowly reached his hand into the box to dig into the various items, going over the snacks and movies and noticing how she managed the get most of his favourites.
"Movie night?" He asked finally offering her a smile and holding up the pack of microwave popcorn from inside his 'get better' pack.

@(в) ¢нσииαѕσяи ѕαנαкυℓ Yukhei was laying on his couch, the tv off and a small blanket thrown over his long body covering only his legs. He had to admit, he hadn't been very productive for the past few days... weeks... It was ridiculous. This was not him. This was definitely not Yukhei-Lucas Mahfud. If there was one thing he'd learnt from his dad it was to be careful of bonds and soulmates, and yet here he was now. Even after he and Jungwoo had been so careful, always tiptoeing around each other. Always keep their distance even though it was obvious to them and to everyone else that they were soulmates. It had been obvious since the very first time Yukhei's nose felt the scent of the beta. They had both been scared of this fact and what was happening right now was the proof that he should have been scared. He missed the other's scent so much he was in physical pain. He could not get it out of his brain no matter what he did.
He could only be glad that they hadn't actually accepted it right away, that they hadn't bonded. If he's feeling like this right now, he could only imagine what a broken bond felt like. What his father had felt like.

Unconsciously, his breathing had picked up again and his nails were digging into his palms. Thankfully the doorbell brought him out of his thoughts. He was close to shifting into his wolf form and that could not be a good idea inside his house. The damn 'perks' of having mixed blood. Another thing they had had in common, and the whole motive they met.
He immediately shook his head and took a deep breath, pushing himself out of the couch and making his way towards the door and slowly opening to reveal the smaller girl with a bright smile that forced a sigh out of him as he walked back inside the house leaving the door open for her and took a seat in one of his kitchen benches.
"Hey Sorn..."
He knew why she was here, and he was going to keep acting annoyed whenever she came over to check on him, but deep down he was grateful, he didn't know if he'd be able to keep himself together if it weren't for the female beta making sure he was well.

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) Yukhei raised his eyebrow at the other a small curious smile on his face as he finally spoke after a few moments of thinking.
"And why not? Do you have such a dark past that I should stay away from you?" He asked half jokingly half serious. He'd definitely have to find a way to get to know more about the other in the future. Yukhei still didn't want to acknowledge it entirely, but he knew that he'd feel the need to know about the other's past, his friends, family, plans for the future, whether he is under a pack or wants to create his own pack. Because despite being a beta, Yukhei can definitely see the leadership skill on the other and he definitely wouldn't mind having him as his sub-leader.
Yukhei laughed slightly at the other's statement and shrugged his shoulders a little "I guess you pretty much take care of that yourself, don't you?" He asked rhetorically with a small teasing smile "Both time you came into my property you secretly jumped over the fence to my backyard and I don't think anyone has noticed yet..." He said softly his eyes locked in the other's with a bit of strength and confidence.
"Definitely not the police, otherwise they'd probably be at my door by now..." He joked a little taking a quick peek at his own front door. He hoped the other wouldn't take it as a 'tip' since he was definitely not trying to guilt trip. He wouldn't mind having Jungwoo climb over his fence every night to hide. And he wouldn't mind if the police ringed his door and questioned him about it, because he was surely not letting them get to Jungwoo. Having Jungwoo inside his house looking for shelter

Yukhei brought his arm up to scratch the back of his neck with an apologetic smile though he did feel slightly less guilty for laughing now that the other was joking about it. Still, he wondered if the other was joking to try and cover it up even if it still bothered him. He hoped not, as it was something that couldn't really be changed, and he didn't want to other to be bothered by something that could never be undone.
"Well... I'm not sorry about the backstory... I'm sorry for laughing..." He said awkwardly eventually letting his hand drop from his neck to his side, as he looked back at the other, nibbling at his bottom lip, realizing it could've sounded insensitive but hoping the other got what he meant.
Yukhei's eyes widened the slightest at the compliment and he could feel the tips of his ears burning but trying to maintain his confident posture and give the other a small grin.
"I think that's a great way to look at it..." He agreed with a small chuckle nodding his head. Yukhei could've easily slipped the /super inspirational quote/ that went through his mind right then, but that wouldn't have been really Yukhei-like so he opted to just keep it for himself.

Yukhei let off a small laugh with a shake of his head "I guess that easily depends on my mood... Poke me on a bad day and it will definitely involve some biting, if I'm on a relatively good day I might have enough self-control to just use fists..." He commented with a quick look at the other before looking back at the ground "But more often than not it does imply some biting..." He said for the first time feeling comfortable enough bringing it up and even letting out a small joking chuckle along with it. It's not everyone that would take it lightly and accept, so he was glad that for maybe for a second time in his life he had someone who didn't stand for simply 'take a deep breathe and turn your back' and understood what it meant to have your blood boiling inside your veins and feeling no control whatsoever over that fact.
"But you might be right... Maybe my DNA is evolving... Maybe I'll become an inspiration for many young halfbloods!" He said playfully sliding his hands into his pockets as he watched the other.

Yukhei simply let out a small playful scoff at the other and shook his head a little as he climbed of his fence talking about the only king with such naturality the other would've seriously questioned if he was actually a beta if it weren't so obvious by his sent. Jungwoo was definitely one of those feisty betas with some rather strong alpha qualities it seemed. Not that Yukhei minded, he always liked a bit of a challenge.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) Jungwoo could try to hide how much the other’s words meant to him, he still couldn’t find the words to thank him for thinking that, even if he wasn’t sure it was true. The idea that he could be perfect in a way to this very alpha’s opinion was just so fulfilling he wished to just believe it. He wanted to trust the alpha’s words on these even when the other had so little details about the contents of his missions. Jungwoo eyed the other but he kept the words in, because he was pretty sure the other would find him pretty cruel if he had the details, even for such a cause. But the beta figured he could live in this fantasy for a little more, the one where Yukhei admired him to some extent, valued his interventions and devotion even when he knew nothing of it to begin with. He had either a lot of empathy or a lot of hopes in him but Jungwoo was fine with any. Maybe having someone he could mention the risky missions to, every once in a while, could be therapeutical, especially when it got tough, when the hormones were getting in the way of carrying through some tasks or just when he felt alone and trapped like he did this night. His eyes risked meeting with alpha’s and he saw how kindly the other looked at him, really trying to help him, a stranger, think positively. And Jungwoo was baffled by it. He would have openly complimented the other if he wasn’t scared of what his heart would voice considering how hard it was beating now.
This alpha was gentle. So gentle with him it attracted him and of course, the scent, the concern in his eye, the /ing/ attractive face did not help at all.

The certainty in the alpha’s tone when he mentioned he would find out about his address or ways to reach him was both frightening and thrilling. So the alpha too could consider looking for him. It was somewhat satisfying to know for Jungwoo because the alpha did not ask questions and so far, he could have been coming to the meetings just for his personal interest in them. Jungwoo hoped to shake the light blush threatening to show on his cheeks when he shook his head dismissively, but he knew the alpha wouldn’t need to resort to strength to get his contact. “You don’t want to know too much about me.” he declared, and said like that it was like a warning, one he was sure the other wouldn’t take in count.
The beta nodded quickly, because he was not trying to recruit Yukhei into doing the risky jobs, he was simply complimenting his skills. That was when Jungwoo realized he /cared/ for the other. He knew nothing of him but unlike the rest of this town (minus a few very good friend), anyone could pretty much die and Jungwoo wouldn’t blink. He was just distancing himself from everyone so far, but that didn’t work with Yukhei. No, the alpha had a magnetic pull on him and he was already feeling tired to fight the attraction when all wanted to give in but his brain; the one brain that failed him more and more in the worse moments.
“If you care for your reputation, you should keep me coming through your back door. I’m commonly known as trouble.” Jungwoo was proud of it, because he made sure to repulse everyone, because it was easy, because it humored him and it also avoided him getting attached like he was right in this moment. And Yukhei just made it so easy to get attached to him.

Next thing, the other was almost sorry for what happened in his youth, sorry for the mistake of two adults who got in bed without thinking of consequences. It was plainly dumb to him, and thus he wanted no one’s pity; but this time he didn’t gag. It was like any of the alpha’s kind words would make him tilt his head in awe. Still he hated himself for bringing the topic up, because it only made him laugh, no matter what.
“Alright, I forgive you up to 30% for my sad backstory. I don’t know how you could feel responsible enough to be sorry but I accept the fact that you’re sorry about it.” And Jungwoo said this with a grin, because he was not just cruel to strangers, he was also cruel to himself. And he was biting the hand that tried to brush his back figuratively, typical Jungwoo. That was pretty much how he coped with the inconveniences.
“You’ve got a kind gaze, Alpha.”
He intended to make a flagrant compliment and gaze in return to appreciate how the other would react to his honesty but the effect was just torn by his use of that qualificative: /Alpha/. He wished he hadn’t brought it up, simply because it meant his mind was comparing Yukhei to the stereotype of all alphas, as if doing a pros and cons list of the reason why Yukhei was different and worthy to spend time with. Classic beginner’s mistake. Everyone did it, but it bothered Jungwoo enough to raise his eyebrows and roll his eyes at his own words.
“I mean, I might laugh about that tragic backstory of mine more often than not; it made me as exceptional as I am after all…” he chuckled, his full self confidence showing.

“Finding ways to control yourself is equally great you know. I know for a fact it’s not easy.”
Not everyone wanted to rebel, and Jungwoo didn’t look down upon those who fought hard, never giving up, to dwell in. The respectable halfblood were helping purebloods change their mind too, in a more passive way.
“If those fights you mentioned getting in easily do not imply biting, I’d even say it’s pretty impressive that you can control yourself. Who knows, maybe your DNA is evolving too.”
He shrugged lightly, but he really found it interesting and he was eager to see what it took for the alpha to keep himself in control. “But just the same, being yourself when you want is power. As long as you don’t forget yourself, it’s just as great.”
But truth was, Jungwoo could get very critical about halfblood dwelling in too much. It was the frustration in him, speaking loud, the stubbornness acting up or just the need to complain and rebel.

“My cop friends…” Jungwoo chuckles, getting the little wink to his prior chasers. He definitely enjoyed how the alpha was getting comfortable around him, enough to turn such matters to joke. It was dangerous too, because it felt like he could tell the other anything. “There can only be one King and I’m it.” He said and shrugged like it was nothing. Hell he’d be the first follower if the handsome alpha was in the same ward, no questions asked. But he’d definitely try to control the calm alpha; because his gentleness was to be challenged. Jungwoo wished to challenge everything about him.
But he turned out to be the challenged one.

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) Yukhei felt his own lips drop into a frown as the other spoke about how the halfbloods would get blamed of things they didn't do, and have stuff they did do blamed on their blood type. It was unfair and that added to all the other halfbloods it just bad and it felt like someone was pressing on all of Yukhei's nerves all at the same time. If there was something he couldn't stand and watch, it was this type of thing. He could feel the anger rising in him immediately and had to suppress a low growl from escaping him, opting to bite on his tongue.
"And that is exactly why you are important to our cause... You are perfect for that job and you will change that..." He said lowly, trying to keep off his voice just how much the thought affected him.
As he lifts his eyes from the floor, just now realizing he had been staring quite strongly at it, he notices the other's tense body as well, and realizes the other might feel even more affected than he does. Which comes as no surprise really, taking into account the place the other takes in the cause, the meetings, and all the risks he puts himself in just for the sake of making it right.
If Yukhei wasn't already waiting for it to change and be fair, he would now, because the other deserved it, for everything he had done and risked, he deserved it more than anyone.
"I'm sure they would eventually figure it out the hard way if they were to simply let you go..." Yukhei found himself commenting trying to lock his eyes with the others to maybe give him what he hoped was a reassuring look.
As the other slightly agreed with him, or that's what Yukhei took of it, he gave him a small smirk with a raised eyebrow.
"You are right... You can't really argue with that after taking shelter in my house..." He says feeling himself slowly relax again into the soothing atmosphere "I will find out eventually, you know that right?" He asked playfully giving the other a confident smile.
He would definitely get to the other. The beta was right thought. At the moment, there was no way for Yukhei to know what was going on with the other unless he personally came to visit the alpha. Yukhei could easily visit the meetings, but the other might not show up. He didn't have the other's phone number, he didn't know where the other lived, or any of his family or friends. Did the other even have any? He didn't remember it ever getting brought up. Still, now that this was set on his mind as a possibility, if the other disappeared for way too long and wasn't showing up at the meetings, Yukhei /would/ find his own way of getting to him.
Even if he shouldn't, even if he was advised, by the other, to stay away and not get involved, even if the other didn't want him there and was doing it on purpose, Yukhei knew right at this moment that he simply wouldn't be able to just let it go without making sure the other was okay. It wasn't like he was exactly a fan of this idea himself, but it was in his instincts, and even if he said otherwise, he knew at the moment he wouldn't be able to fight them.

Yukhei laughed along with the other shaking his head a little "Glad to see you acknowledge my own skills" He replied with a small chuckle before shaking his head again.
"But don't worry about me" He said in a teasing reassurance "I don't think I was made for this type of... job?" He raised his eyebrow in slight confusion at what to call it "I'm all for the cause and I will help in whatever ways I can including donate and all, but I don't think I could really make it a job...I have my father's company and all that to take care of... I need my reputation!" He said with a shrug of his shoulders and an amused smile.
Yukhei winced to himself as the other brought up his past and he mentally kicked himself for laughing cuz right now he couldn't even remember why he was laughing anymore. It didn't sound funny anymore.
He gave the other an apologetic smile and hoped the other could sense his attempt at comfort from there.
"I'm sorry about that... It ..." He said carefully rather unsure of how to reply because 'it ' was just like a reply to a friend who just told you they failed their history test or something... It was most likely not the reply to someone who was telling you about a tragic incident of their past and who clearly blamed themselves over it.
But yet, nothing else came to mind for him to say at the time, so once again, he relayed on his eyes to pass his emotions onto the other.
As the beta continued to speak Yukhei nodded along, this time feeling like he understood what he meant. Maybe not to the same extent but a pretty damn close one.
"I guess I can relate to that one.." He said with a small scoff, pretty much like the other had just moments before.
"I got used to controlling that... Not really letting myself shift at random moments, or when I felt really close to shifting I had my own ways of stopping it... I guess it also had to do with the way I was supposed to act because of the reputation for the company and everything, we needed to keep a clean image..." He shrugged his shoulders, thinking of all the times he shifted while he was young. It would happen often. At some point in his life, as he grew up, he set the limits to himself. He wanted to show that halfbloods weren't just what most purebloods thought of them. They could be in control, and they could control their own emotions. It wasn't exactly perfect, but Yukhei liked to give himself a pat on the back on what he had achieved. Jungwoo though... He seemed the complete opposite of Yukhei and he made Yukhei feel small with just that small statement.
"I think that's great..." He said, feeling like the other was entirely right. Yukhei had spent most of his life trying to prove that halfbloods could be in control, while Jungwoo just embraced it, and allow himself to be what he was instead of trying to change and /control/ something it was genetically impossible to get full control over. It was in their DNA. It was simply not supposed to be like that.
"I think it's great that you don't fight I mean... It's a part of us that we shouldn't be put down for... It's not something you get to control, so why not just let it happen?" He asked, more to himself than the other. Yukhei liked control. He liked being and feeling composed and respected and like he was in absolute control of everything going on in his life. For a halfblood that might be a bit too much to ask, and maybe, just maybe he should let himself go with the flow and accept it for once.
The other was making him realize this pretty quickly considering they had only been together for the third time counting tonight. The alpha could physically feel his self-control slipping away the more time he spent with the beta, and as if that wasn't enough, the other managed to through all his theories into the ground and step on them like they're dust, and yet again, his self-control takes a blow. Every time he meets the other, he is left with so many things to consider and so many questions in his mind, that he realizes, he either does not have an answer to, or he has been wrong about it all along.
As the other finishes cleaning the mug anyway, Yukhei is left to consider the things for the night. He was sure he would stay awake for hours thinking about it. Of course that is if the scent of the other didn't distract him enough to keep him thinking about something else.

Yukhei kept his eyes on the other as he looked down at him from his upper place at the top of his stairs. It didn't take long for the other to come back down though.
"You were the only one to actually dare to jump my fence though... All the other's are here for different reasons..." He said jokingly before raising a curious eyebrow at the other at the mention of his bed and letting out a laugh at the other's theories.
"Is that what you guys say about German people here?" He asked playfully before giving the other a small gesture of pretend frustration "I might have to move cities now before you get your cop friends on me!" He joked lightly hoping the other would take no offense.
He barely had any time to though, since he went straight for the door. Yukhei would've asked him to stay, but that would've been way out of line and way out of character and there was simply no reason for him to ask such a thing. Plus, it was an extremely bad idea, and he knew it, so that small irrational piece of mind, that just wanted the sweet scent near for comfort would have to be stopped right there.
He chuckled at the other's joke and shook his head a little, as he watched him get his shoes on and prepare to leave just as quickly as he had gotten there.
"We'll see about that... But if I were you, I'd be worried about your kingdom in jail if I were to get on the cell next to yours!" He joked one last time watching the other make his way out onto the backyard "But thanks... Eating with you will be appreciated" He said as the other gave him one quick last glance, before jumping right back from where he had come from earlier.
Yukhei let out a long sigh, unsure of what to do next. His mind was spinning and his body was tense. He was well aware of the effect the other had on him, and while a part of him enjoyed having him around, he knew it couldn't be good. Still, he couldn't help himself from walking back to the couch where the other had been sitting at previously, and just laying there for a long while, letting his mind fill in with pictures of the other, as his nose picked up on the strong scent left behind by the beta.
What he didn't expect though, was for his night to be instantly ruined when he got to his bedroom only to feel the same intense scent as soon as he climbed on his bed. He would like to say it was ruined in the bad sense of the word, but not entirely. He did notice the missing pillowcase, on that one pillow that smelled extra sweet, and he ended up only falling asleep a few hours later, holding onto the pillow that smelled just like /him/.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) Jungwoo wouldn’t have minded arguing on what the alpha thought he mean by picking him and only him into the secret group of activist. He was stubborn like that. But Yukhei dared adding his name to his dismissive comment, the secret password for Jungwoo to forget what they were even starting to lightly bicker about.
He wondered when he’d stop counting the times Yukhei would say his name with that mesmerizing voice of his. He wondered if he’d ever stop feeling on high alert whenever he’d fail to control Yukhei’s reactions. The letter was not a mission for him to succeed in, he had nothing to retrieve from the alpha, but it still felt like he was losing control on every aspect of his mind when Yukhei didn’t pick on his challenge, or when he didn’t take his baits. They seemed to be playing the same game and maybe Jungwoo had found an adversary to his calibre.

This night was quite the crazy ride if Jungwoo was to be honest, starting from almost getting caught red handed by the police to dreaming his ambitious future in prison with the alpha who caused his earlier mess. Ironic, and not so bad in all since Yukhei agreed on this with him.
Jungwoo would hate to find himself out of reasons why the alpha should stay away from him but he couldn’t deny money solved way too many problems. Money could potentially make a case disappear if the right amount was put in the right hands. And on top of it, if Yukhei was clean then he really wouldn’t look guilty, but he was one man Jungwoo didn’t want to use. Not even if the other agreed. I’d owe the guy, and he’d owe him way too much to feel free if money was wasted on him some day.
“No, you’re right, they would lack proof, but see this is why I dip into those fishy activities: if the presumed guilty one happens to be half blood, it’s a case lost from the beginning. They won’t even look at the evidences and they will make up some story about losing control, about desiring a pureblood for myself or something and within ten minutes, the trial will be over.”
His fist are balled, his jaw clenched as if it had already happened to him already. This was what he was passionate about and the reason why using Yukhei was a bad idea.
“So… you either got details about what I do or you have really high esteem of me, but either way you’re right, I really am usually good at what I do, Thanks. You’re certainly right about the fact that they couldn’t find someone as good as me, but they don’t know that.”
He smiled kindly, he couldn’t help but feel all warm inside to hear the other being either naively kind or just blindly trusting him. That with what the alpha’s scent was doing to him would mess him up so bad he’d later regret ever coming back to this house but for now Jungwoo didn’t touch the ground, and in fact, he balances his feet to keep his blood circulating when he had the feeling he’d pass out because of how perfect this moment was. Really, what could top being this close to Yukhei and being praised by him?
Meanwhile, he had no idea how much that confession could take a toll on the alpha. The other looked so calm, gathered and sharp with his thoughts. Jungwoo knew that if the other ever spoke to him authoritatively, he’d say yes first and regret later being turned in a nodding doll by an alpha smelling a little too good.
“You sure know how to pep-talk, Yukhei-Lucas. I can’t say I didn’t need it, landing here with sirens as my theme song. I appreciate it so much there’s no way I’ll set you as my emergency contact. I don’t have your number anyway… And if ever get caught, your name will never come up.”
He smirked darkly, /protecting the alpha/ with all he was, which was distance. Because no one in his circle knew he was a friend to someone loaded; really he could stop coming to Yukhei’s place and to the meetings and the alpha wouldn’t know how to reach out to him until a weak friend of his at the meeting would sell his address out that is.

“Fear policy... “ Jungwoo chuckled, really intending to mock the idea, but he shivered before he realized Yukhei could very instill fear in him. It was maybe just him, but if the mere scent the other was oozing just went down a degree in the sweetness, Jungwoo knew he’d be affected by it like some bond. He’d feel it in his bones if he was close to the alpha. “Wicked. Do not show yourself to the rest of the circle, they’d make you an expendable too and we don’t want that.” He reached here, taking this decision for Yukhei because he wasn’t sure he wanted to feel responsible if the other got in trouble because of him, inviting him in the secret group of activists.
Jungwoo laughed softly but he lowered his head, still not able to laugh about his own misery as it came to the sneezing episodes.
“I was a kid, I had no idea about how to retain a sneeze in time and I broke my parents apart, I ruined my own life.. kinda?” The talk got serious way too fast and way too early, He snorted to make sure he wouldn’t make the alpha feel uncomfortable and changed focused on the lesson. “I do shift because of situation I don’t want to handle, but it’s always like the wolf is never too far, waiting for an occasion to show up. So more than ever, I let him. I don’t fight it.”
It meant he did it while doing the groceries, at the movies, or whenever he didn’t want to talk to people. It meant he was seen as some outcast and hanged a lot in the forest, but it also meant he was proud of what he was and he secretly hopes Yukhei would think no less. A couple praises and that was it for the beta to peek at his host, trying to read the look in his eyes. He hummed as he heard the alpha remind him he wasn’t to clean but he said nothing and carried on.

Jungwoo liked how cosy they were now, playing with the distance, him walking to the sink to find the alpha just next to him the next minute, but only hearing Yukhei from downstairs when he stole something upstairs. His lips curled as he looked down at his host. He stood before the stairs, looking down on the alpha and considered what to answer: the truth? or an impossible lie? or just a plain lie? He had no idea until he laughed, again, at the mention of the stray cats in a secret attic.
“Oh boy I don’t want to end up in the attic like all the others who dared jumping up your fence!” he jogged down the stairs, taking in the alpha’s look all the way down because he knew this was goodbye. He couldn’t stay a minute more after he had stolen something in case he’d have to explain himself. The explanation would have to wait for the next meeting because it would be obvious to Yukhei what he stole in the clean house: a pillow had been stripped on the king-sized bed and he had dared hugging the said pillow as he committed his crime, something he had no idea the alpha could be sensitive to.
“But yeah, I found the bed you that was supposed to be the evidence that you’re no bloodsucking vampire from Germany… Only I’m not stupid: it was way to well made to prove you sleep in it. Ishall wildly suppose you sleep upside down in the attic and eat those poor stray cats.”
He jogged straight past the alpha and went to the door, putting his shoes back on with a hand pressing to the belly pocket of his hoodie, clearly hiding something. “Thank you for the coffee, for the shelter, for the pep talk. I’ll remember it when they find a way to put you behind bars.”
Jungwoo grinned, finding iteven harder to leave now than he had last time at the meeting.
“You shall eat at the table of the cool people with me, even if it’s blood you need to drink.”
On his light joke his hand gripped on the fabric in his pocket to give himself the courage needed to run home: finally, he wasn’t going empty handed: he had a piece of the scent he’d keep, and he had a name to cover the walls of his subconscious with. Jungwoo still had strong hopes that he’d forget about Yukhei, that too much of his sweet and addictive scent would tire him, but just to be sure, he had already planned to not go to the next meeting.
He jumped over the fence and disappeared into the night, running fast and hoping his address would remain a mystery to the alpha.

----okay I'll make another post for the new starter, depending on what you think of what should happen next ^^ ----

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) Yukhei allowed himself to smile as he noticed the amusement on the other's face.
"Whatever you say, Jungwoo..." He felt the need to add the other's name there simply for his own sake. He hadn't said it in a while, and on one hand he felt like he could never forget what that name tasted like on his tongue, while on the other he felt like it had been too long since he'd said it, and he might actually forget it.
He wasn't sure wether that was said as a joke or a challenge, but due to his personality as well as his alpha nature, he did felt himself being challenged by the other.
Still he knew better, than to let himself be controlled like this, and he carefully allowed his body to relax, and not give into his immediate first reaction.

As Jungwoo laughed, Yukhei's own laugh almost caught up in his throat. It was the first time he actually heard the other really laugh, and Yukhei could listen to it over and over again, even if it strayed away entirely from Jungwoo's character. The mysterious, illegal, dangerous beta, that somehow convinced him into an activist meeting, that did help his own cause, but Yukhei had never thought to find himself in.
He let out a laugh along with the other yet again as he spoke and he shook his head, cuz this was definitely like Jungwoo's character. Getting people to do what he wants. Having people obey him, and kneel at his feet. Hell, he could probably get Yukhei to do it if he put himself up to it. Though Yukhei would struggle, and never fully admit that it might be a possibility.
"Now I can see that happening.." He said in agreement. Jungwoo would indeed make quite the ring leader. A very handsome, and probably very powerful ring leader.
The alpha could definitely see the surprise on the other's face when he said he'd bail him out, but still he didn't bat an eyelash. He was being honest, and although it might be very stupid of him, he really meant it.
Despite the other's words he found that he didn't really care or mind. He was sure he could get them both out, no matter what he had to do or spend for that to happen.
"Well, I don't usually brag about money.... But I do have a nice ammount of money.." He said simply circling the drink in his can like people usually do with their glasses of wine and not a can of soda "And as you said I'm too clean for that.. They could try all they wanted but they wouldn't manage to link me into anything, so they couldn't arrest me without proof.." He reasoned. He wasn't entirely sure if that's how it worked since thankfully he'd never been to prison nor had anyone close to him arrested. But he did remember his father being brought to court quite a few times, and despite some of the illicit business he had behind his company, he always managed to stay clean, so he assured himself he could do it as well. And no matter what, he'd definitely get Jungwoo out of there as well.
The other's next words were slightly irrefutable, but Yukhei couldn't bring himself to believe them. The only reason he got to know of the cause was because it was Jungwoo in his backyard on that day, and not someone else. Yukhei felt a strong sense of protection towards the beta, but it was not like he could simply say it.
"I guess I understand what you mean... Sure, they could find other people to do your part of the job... But I don't really think they could find someone as good as you at what you're doing..." He said trying to keep himself foccused and the flush away from his face at the embarassment he felt saying that. It sounded like some lame type of confession though that wasn't exacly like he meant it to sound.
"You are aware of the sacrifice and still do it and anyone can tell you're really passionate about the cause... Personally I think you're important to the cause and it's not just because of what you do, but how you do it.. It would be a shame letting go of you just because of that..." He said feeling like he ended it better, than it sounded halfway through, and not entirely as embarassing as that previous piece.
He listens to the other and although he can hear the serious undertones to it, he can also see the playful side as the other yet again uses both his names, and gives him the small smirk at the end bringing up his 'exotic scent'. The alpha didn't know exacly why, but he liked the way the other addressed it. Still, he wasn't sure he could agree to not do it. Besides, being extremely impulsive, he was sure he would find himself doing exacly that even if it wasn't his intention.

Yukhei noticed the other listening attentive to him but missed the way he seemed to lean closer to him as he his eyes were down on the can as he spoke. The other only getting his attention back when he saw he moving, maybe to readjust in the stool.
As he was finally done talking, the other spoke up in a playful reply, and Yukhei's eyes travelled up to meet the beta's before letting out a small chuckle as well.
"I guess you could say that... But I'm not sure I'd actually kill someone, I might just make sure they understand not to mess with me again.. I work on fear policy.." He admitted with a small shrug of his shoulders. It wasn't entirely true, he only used it when he got challenged or someone pushed his buttons wrong and he lost control.
He let out a laugh before looking at the other "Are you serious? Sneezing?" He asked trying to sound a bit serious but still chuckling a bit before finally calming down and looking at the other "That is definitely a first.." He said rubbing the back of his neck as he remembered all his other halfblood friends who shifted due to many different reasons, but never one due to sneezing. It sounded extremely funny to him, but he didn't want to make the other feel bad about it in case he didn't like it, cuz it probably a little bit "But I do relate a lot to shifting due to tense situations, and emotions.." He said once again with a small shrug of his shoulders.
He watched the other as he got up from the stool and walked to his counter only noticing what he was doing when he opened the water and started washing his mug.
Yukhei immediately got up as well walking up to the counter as well "You really didn't need to do that.. I could've done it later.." He said with a small smile, as he drank the remaining of his own drink before throwing it on the recycling bin next to his fridge.
He watched as the other walked much ahead of him and kept the distance, making his way into his living room as the other went up the stairs, and giving out a laugh at his comment. He didn't follow him up the stairs though maybe he should have. Allowing the other to wander around in his house as he pleased wasn't exacly a good idea, but it gave him a small break from the other's intense scent and to cool his body and mind down, so he opted for leaning his back against the wall, arms crossed as the other got all the way up and made a turn for the left door, which lead him into his bedroom.
The other didn't take long in his bedroom, and he heard the door opening and closing once again before he saw him appear on the corner of the stairs again.
"Found what you were looking for?" He asked with a raised eyebrow and a playful smirk "I guess not... Cuz I usually keep the stray cats on my secret attick!" He joked before uncrossing his arms and standing up straight again waiting for the other to come back down.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) Jungwoo noticed it from the very first time he met Yukhei, but only now did it raise his curiosity: the alpha seemed to be even reading him when he was silent. It made him self conscious of the way he looked. He couldn’t knit his eyebrows or let his jaw drop when the other would do those sinful things with his lips.
Falling in a little agreement where his sensitivity to the alpha’s scent would be pinned on the foreign origin filled Jungwoo with confidence. This was the reason he came in this time, to get over the little things about Yukhei that occupied his mind so permanently he missed steps when climbing stairs and triggered alarms in his falls while he was stealing important material for the resistance.
“Yeah yeah I never said important, but my interest in things is rare, that I admit.” he said, rolling his eyes although he was amused. Hell he hoped Yukhei wouldn’t turn out to be important to him on top of attracting all of him. It still made Jungwoo smile, finding solace in coming clean to a certain extent. It became comfortable between them, being able to laugh off some of the tension, but he was still on high alert, like he was close to his heat, ready to lose control or ready to shift if his human body started getting too tensed.
“Did you think you could manage me?” Jungwoo asked, and there’s something not innocent in his tone, something that screams for the alpha to just try to manage him. “But anyway, I’m grateful for it.” For not calling the cops, for thinking he could handle him; he had to admit he didn’t mind, at least not yet.

His host was maybe getting used to having him around, laughing like this in his presence. It was still a rare sight for Jungwoo, a sight and sound that had his pupils dilate, air caught in his lungs at the realization that he was complimented. He did like the praises. He didn’t get them often, both because his skills were used to do illegal and secret tasks and because he didn’t actively seek approval. But here, the praise warmed him inside out, his eyes wandering down in humility and a bit of pride he was so not used to. Since when did it matter to him someone cared about what he did? If anything, the distant mention of his job made his friends frown. His family was better off not knowing about it at all, so once again, Yukhei stood out to him, blurring the rest of his world a little more.
His eyes were wide at the other’s prediction as to how a journey to the prison would be for him. He started laughing, kind of getting the impression the other still doubted how tough he was. “Nah I won’t get eaten alive, unless it’s what I want. But now that you say it, I think I’d love very much to be a king rather than a leader. I’ll have them kneel before me.” he added, narrowing his eyes in contentment. He was almost looking forward to getting caught by the police doing something shady. “I would make quite the ring leader.” He could say it, because there was nothing he was responsible of but himself. If he failed the resistance, someone else would take his seat. So Yukhei’s intention to bail him out was a complete surprise to him. He raised his mug, mirroring the other’s gesture but with less conviction, his eyebrows furrowed.
“That would be quite the deed, considering you already didn’t call the cops on me.” he started, chuckling, but he was startled, not used to having people ready to waste their money on him to save him from himself; he made it so no one would care just to hurt no one if anything ever happened.
“Still it wouldn’t be such a good deed because it would tie you to my crimes and considering the nameless case that is building against me, waiting for my first mistake, I think bailing me would only put you on a slippery path to the cell next to mine.” He smirked and seemed to consider the other’s broad shoulder in the orange jumpsuit, competition for his prison kingdom. “That can’t happen, you’re too clean for that.” He shook his head, forgetting about it; there was simply no way Yukhei could smell the sad and lonely ending like he did.
“But just to be clear, I’m this important to the cause because I understand the sacrifice. Not even our rich donors would meddle in bailing out. I’m an expendable. The cause will find other tools if I were to fail them. But it’s…” he halted himself halfway into speaking of his feelings. It was way too important to just nudge the alpha off the topic coldly. “It’s thoughtful and selfless of you to consider doing it. It just wouldn’t be the right thing to do, Lucas, Yukhei. Your exotic scent can’t be linked to prison.” He smirks and shrugs nonchalantly, having taken this decision a while ago and being totally fine in depending on himself alone. He was to bring no one down with him in case of a demise. It was more of a non-committal statement so far, but with the alpha, it was mostly his way of protecting what seemed to be innocence. He assumed the alpha was just being being a generous alpha, caring distantly, and somehow, it didn’t trigger his gag reflex, still Jungwoo wouldn’t accept it. He was a little pushy for a beta, but this was also how he got himself into such a risky life. More importantly, no alpha in his life had the nerves to remind him he was just a beta, and thus he denied an alpha something so easily.

Jungwoo didn’t expect the alpha to speak up about his thoughts on their first encounter but as he saw him look for something, he tilted his head and waited patiently, eyes and lips smiling encouragingly. He let him say all he managed to say and it seemed as if even expressing this was very difficult. It made Jungwoo feel a little soft, considering it was his clothes that startled the alpha out of his fear of the potential threat he must have looked like, landing in his garden out of nowhere. Somehow, Jungwoo hadn’t felt this liberated since he had stepped inside the other’s house. The tension had been choking him madly, but getting the alpha to talk about his feelings was exhilarating for the beta. So much he had been leaning so close he realized he he could just rest his chin on the alpha’s shoulder. Embarassing. In a split second, Jungwoo pulled back, blushing madly but looking very pissed with himself and this close to beating himself up for exposing his overly sensitive body to the source of his intoxication. Well if anything, he now knew that closeness would not cure him, he had to hug himself strongly to get a grip at himself, his last two working braincell going round and round in his head in a tribal dance to summon him out of this house which made him sicker than when he came in. Yukhei’s looks were just too much to handle, and for a moment, he felt himself go, hypnotized into their closeness; what a trap.

He wished he’d get a grasp of what made the alpha weak, the euphemism, but seeing how the other bantered, Jungwoo knew he would always be weaker than his host. It was the natural way things were, and on top of it, his body had just found his kryptonite in Yukhei’s every cell. Jungwoo’s weakness worsened with the impression that the alpha gazed at his lips for a moment. Next, Jungwoo his tiers, frowning and certain there was something wrong with them, his palm covering the investigation that was going on. The latter was only interrupted by the knowledge about the alpha’s incline to fighting.
“Well, we all have our limits… And seeing how calm you are now makes me feel like you could kill someone if things went for worse. I must be lucky you were curious rather than mad that night.” he chuckled, wondering if he was reading that right, if it was even okay to say such a thing this lightly to a hybrid who could just snap like the beta, except in violent ways.
“That is where we must be quite alike. My loss of control over situations or emotions usually gets me to shift. that or sneezing.” He added in a chuckle, turning the talk a little light when he was pretty sure he was close to losing control here. How embarrassing that would be to explain if it were to happen. Jungwoo jumped off his stool and took his mug to the sink, thoughtlessly washing it like he was home. He was actually happy to splash some cold water on his hands, shivering at the first touch simply because his body was just too hot. He simply couldn’t risk splashing some to his face so he hurried to dry his skin once he was done and avoided his host’s eyes, leaving the kitchen with a little smile. He had to distance himself from the other and luckily he still had the upper floor to visit.
“Off to see your stray cats.” he sang innocently, although the other had made clear he didn’t welcome the said animals in his home. Jungwoo was curious, but it was an emergency for him to wander into the house ahead of the alpha, just to let his guard down. His fingertips brushed everything on his path, eyes looking for any piece of clothing he could bring home and to his missions. A token that would help him out of his slump without solving his new dependance on the alpha’s scent.
Somehow he was breathing better, surviving pretty well the distance between the alpha and him but anxious of how the alpha would react to his impolite escaping. Jungwoo stopped upon finding the bedroom that could hold his entire place and that was maybe too neat to just find anything he’d take home. Still he walked in and grabbed a pillow from the bed. He started stripping the pillow off the fabric that smelled like the alpha. He was sure it would to but once the pillow was back on the bed, he folded the pillowcase and hid it in the big pocket of his hoodie, hoping the other wouldn’t notice it. The trick took maybe thirty seconds but before exiting the room, he froze, trying to locate his host by sounds. How much in trouble could he be, he wondered. The good thing was that he was ready to leave, he had fulfilled his personal mission of the night. Jungwoo just hoped it would be a better exit than his previous mission. He tiptoed out of the room, looking for the alpha if the other even foll

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) Yukhei raised his eyebrow at the other's weird statement but didn't question it. This moments only reminded him yet again of how he knew next to nothing about the other. Caffeine could affect him differently, some people didn't feel so energized by it, some even got sleepy. It could be a dozen different things. He could also be used to having coffee late at night, and taken from his statement, he was probably used to going to sleep pretty late as well.
He simply nodded, standing pretty much still otherwise as he watched engines turn on the other's head. Not that he could actually 'see' them, the other seemed to have a nice control over his expression most of the time, but he could simply tell, he was thinking, considering what to say next maybe?
What he does say next though, leaves him a bit on edge as the other finally aknowledges out loud, the thought that had been on his mind for a long while since they met. Wether his scent had any effect on the other as the other's had on him? Wether his scent felt as different to Jungwoo, as the beta's felt to him?
Having the other aknowledge it simply added to the idea that Yukhei did not want to even consider, but then again, as the other said, it might be simply that his scent is different because of his bloodline. But that wouldn't explain why the other feels different to him, and that would leave an even bigger quesiton unanswered and might lead to even darker territory, and if that was the case, then he is damn sure that he will stay away from such conclusions.
As the other speaks again though, his thoughts are immediately lead through lighter areas again as he lets out a small chuckle.
"I believe so too.." He replied not sure wether he should aknowledge the last part of the other's speech. A part of him yelled yes, while the other screamed no. But Yukhei being Yukhei couldn't simply ignore it.
"Aww, am I that important?" He said teasingly, just enough to be playful but also careful enough to make sure it didn't sound like he was making fun of the other so he wouldn't ruin the comfortable mood that had been slowly spreading around them in his kitchen.
"Well.. If it makes you feel better, you were probably the only hybrid who managed to convince me not to call the cops... Anyone else and I would've probably turned them in.." He admitted as well with a small shrug of his shoulders.

Yukhei was slightly glad when the other didn't question him. They seemed to do that a lot. They questioned each other about the most trivial things and comments, but seemed to mutually ignore something that pulled a bit more on what could be a serious side. Some things were really better off left untouched.
He turned to the other with a small laugh and shook his head "Well... Isn't that great then?" He said, pretty aware that he was slightly complimenting the other on doing well on decieving the law, and yet he simply narrowed his eyes as the other continued to talk.
He knew what the other did wasn't exacly 'legal'. He had known since their first meeting which in itself had been proof of what the other went around doing from time to time. And yet, the other was just now revealing a lot more serious things that were a part of ihis 'job', and Yukhei couldn't help the sligthly unsettling feeling that managed to slide itself into the pit of his stomach. Despite that, he pulled on a small playful smirk.
"Wow, that's a lot of talents, I must admit.. I'm impressed!" The alpha said with a small nod, taking another sip from his own drink, that he just now realized, also contained caffeine. As the other mentioned prison he had to put a stop to himself so he wouldn't get too controlling of someone who didn't belong to him. It's not like he doubted the other's skills, he really didn't. But it wasn't easy entirely ignoring the possibility. Still he was well aware that he shouldn't even be this bothered by the thought, so instead of saying what his first instinct had been to say, he allowed himself to agree with the other and make a small joke.
"You certainly are... If you were to get arrested, you'd either get eaten alive in there by more dangerous betas, or you'd become their king and leader or something.." He commented with a laugh, the scenario fully playing in his head. He could definitely see Jungwoo's eyes and voice turning all the other prisoners into his slaves.
He shook his head a little, before speaking with a small serious tone to his voice.
"But... If you were to get arrested... I'll do my good deed of the year, and bail you out.." He said lifting up his can of soda as if for a toast, trying to make what he just said seem more natural though he entirely meant it.
"You are a really important piece for the cause after all..." He said half playfully, finally managing to find the self control to move over and sit next to the other, without feeling like he might just spill his whole life into the other's hands or act like a freakin' possessive alpha for no reason at all. This task seemed to be getting harder the more time he spent with the other.

Yukhei was slightly surprised but not entirely shocked at the other's reply. It was a bit unusual for people to say he was 'calm'. He was most commonly getting accused of being disruptive, or self-centered, or too loud. But he was aware he had been different with Jungwoo from the very beggining. Since the moment the other had stepped into his backyard, he had felt forced to be much more careful and composed than ever before. If he had allowed himself to be as 'free' as he usually was. To be as careless, and do whatever he wanted like he usually did, he was sure things would've never turned out like this.
As their eyes met, the beta was giving him a slightly confused, questioning look and Yukhei simply chewed on his bottom lip as he listened to the other, his brain trying to come up with a reply.
"Yeah... I guess that's true..." He said as the other was indeed right. He still couldn't exacly understand why, but it was different with this beta. Right now, he didn't really seem like an alpha at all. He wanted to give the other a full reply, but aside from the truth, nothing else came to mind, and he wasn't sure how much of a good idea it would be for him to simply bring out the 'you were different' card right then and there. Yeah, not doing that.
"I guess I was curious..." He said simply once again opting for a mid-term. A half true. "You caught my attention with all the cover up you had going on, and what you were doing... I guess I was wondering what a beta like you was doing jumping over fences of private property, all dressed in black, a mouth mask plus the hoodie and all..." He added again, admitting a bit more of the real reason but not getting it entirely out "I liked your spike..."
He said with a small laugh to try and lighten the mood slightly.
He wasn't sure what it felt like for the other, but he sure felt like he was suffocating. So he was a bit glad when the other changed into a slightly different topic. At this one he shrugged his shoulders with a confident smirk playing at the corners of his lips.
"That one is simply my charm.." He said, giving the other his charming smile that he usually used to get out of trouble "Just like you, I use my looks and knowledge to get what I want, I don't really need my money for that..." He said softly looking around his house. He didn't usually brag about his money, but he had to admit he did spend quite a bit on this house.
"But as you said.... I guess some of the stuff I am crazy about I can get legally..." He admitted carefully, his eyes unconsciously locking in the other's lips for a few seconds before he forced them away and back up ot the other's eyes before his mind was far too lost. He couldn't afford venturing down that line of thought or else he could definitely kiss his self control goodbye.
"Worst I do is getting into fights... I have an incredibly short temper and get quite aggressive sometimes..." He said with yet another shrug of his shoulders unsure of what the other would think of that, but it was the true and there was no hiding it "I guess you could say I don't deal well with intense situations and emotions... That's the easiest way for me to lose control..." He agreed, before bringing his can of soda to his lips, letting the sweet taste spread on his tongue and allowing the sugar to calm him, as he could feel himself slightly slipping away at their conversation.
He listened to the other speak calmly while sipping his coffee and he simply nodded along in agreement to what the other was saying. The other didn't know it yet, but he could trully relate to what he was saying, and as Jungwoo brought it up, the alpha thought it should be okay to share another thing about himself right now.
As they share eye contact for the nth time that night, Yukhei simply nods his head a little in aknowledging.
"I guess I do partially get to blame my low self control on my halfbood.." He admitted softly, his eyes locked in the other's to try and catch any type of reaction from him.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) Jungwoo shakes his head slowly, watching how the alpha tries to hide his surprise and maybe even care by simply offering to sweeten his coffee. Jungwoo usually doesn't dwell well with people's worry, no matter how close his friends are. He'd rather surround himself with self-centered friends to not ever draw their attention on his questionable choices. And yet he does feel annoyed by Yukhei's worry.
“The night's young.”
And it's not a fact, for it is very late. So it can only be a threat, a fact about the way he lives.
Jungwoo knows he is supposed to pick one name or the other at some point, but somehow he likes saying both, like one would enumerate all names formally to stress on how serious the following words would be. People do that to scold, nearly, so doing it with the alpha kind of feels empowering, expecting him to someday put a stop to it feels enticing. If trespassing his property doesn't get on his nerves, what would make him lose that calm aura Jungwoo likes a little too much?
But then Yukhei gives a little detail about his origins, it leaves the guest baffled. Like he should be surprised the alpha would answer the question in his head if he asked them, like he wouldn't judge him for being so abnormally curious. Still he wasn't so sure he could ask if because of it the alpha had travelled, if he could press on to know how hybrids sorted their way in foreign countries, and if halfbloods like himself were equals to purebloods in other countries. Suddenly the alpha seemed to have a foot outside, knowledge Jungwoo didn't even allow himself to dream of for how remote it was for him to spend on himself at all. His eyes had fallen on the coffee machine, watching the liquid pour slowly in a mug.
“So that must be what makes your scent different. It's exotic.” he rationalizes out loud, thankful he can put a logical explanation on his attraction. Deep in his heart he can feel this can't be the only reason, but he wants to believe in the lie, that if he gets to spend time with the one he's so craving details on, he will be able to move on. But usually coffee catches in his nose, it's one of the pleasure of making it, and here he can't ignore the alpha's scent absorbs the coffee flavor, both pleasing scents mixing in a dangerous smell that makes Jungwoo wonder how it would be to have breakfast here, equally drowning in the intoxicating natural perfume that seeps out of Yukhei's every pores and the warm home feeling coffee inspires.
Jungoo completely misses out on how the alpha's avoiding his gaze, instead feeling lucky when the other suddenly seems preoccupied by something else and the beta can eagerly take in all details of his face. He chortles softly, shaking his shoulders a little, his gaze tender nonetheless.
“You're right, it's funnier if I have to jump over your face every now and them to possibly learn a thing or two about the only hybrid I cared enough to personally invite to the meeting.”
He realizes if the alpha opens up a little, he needs to do about the same. It feels fair, and it feels like they are building a two way trust. It feels like /they/ are doing something together and that will be enough to help Jungwoo fall asleep with a smile even if he will be restless, thinking about the mysterious alpha like almost every night since they first met.

Jungwoo contently pulled the coffee mug closer to him, adding some sugar knowing that would only help keeping him sharp. He had a content smile curling his tiers when he froze, mug halfway to his lip, eyes fixated on his reflection in the dark drink.
It sounded like Yukhei was reassured he wouldn't be looking for trouble elsewhere. It sounded like a lot of care from someone he just leaned the two first names of and yet his cheeks warmed up distinctly.
He heard Yukhei laugh softly to his own statement and it had the beta look up, feeling guilty for almost dragging the police to his door, hence the reason why he kept friends at bay. Still Jungwoo didn't comment on the motives for Yukhei's comment and rather on the object.
“I never get arrested.” he declares, feeling like accused of being bad at what he does best, which is doing illegal things.
“...hardly anymore anyway.” he continues, his voice softer. “I'm good at it, retrieving objects, information from guarded places or minds, planting things in restricted places… and minds.” he explained, and here, Yukhei would be entrusted more knowledge about his secret missions than most in the resistance knew. “Fooling security systems and people is what I'm best at. I've just been in a slump. I need to get over /it/, I won't get behind bars, I'm too pretty for prison.” Jungwoo's lips curled again and he closed his eyes, inhaling the scent of coffee, distracting himself from the fact that maybe, just maybe, his host wasn't mocking his skills but rather just worrying over him, a stranger. The thought was endearing and scaring, but at least the alpha moved on to busy himself around the kitchen and totally missed on the was Jungwoo rested the mug on the table, nose looking forward for his host’s scent to fill his nostrils again. He missed it when he was still in the other's house and the thought of leaving these wall had Jungwoo worry he'd commit mistakes, being far too distracted by the alpha he could now put a name on.
Jungwoo only had one solution to get better and he figured he should get on it as soon as he'd have an opening.

So accusing your host of various shortcomings wasn't the nicest way to behave but Jungwoo was keen on pushing his luck with the alpha who didn't seem any close to getting angry or even cold.
Jungwoo laughed softly, easily believing the other didn't keep actual cat but still wondering if he let in his home strangers like he did with him. He'd have to be sneaky to ask about this one. He wouldn't usually be anxious about pulling info out of anyone but Yukhei gave him considerable doubt and the latter sitting next to him on a stool rose all flags in his mind. His hands embraced the still very hot mug, hoping it would sting his skin enough to get over how close he was to the alpha. A silence settled and it was almost comfortable. It would take hours of this kind of closeness for Jungwoo to be okay he believed but it turn short with the reply Yukhei gave him, joining him on how little control they have over themselves.
Jungwoo had to eye his stool neighbor to breathe. Looking at Yukhei helped and choked him at the same time, a discomfort he was very inclined to get used to. Jungwoo's eyebrows were knitted without even knowing, fully wondering how the alpha's little self control operated.
“Oh… that's the last thing I'd have thought of you. Alphas don't usually remain this calm to anyone invading their privacy like I did a few times. And don't get me wrong here, I wasn't looking for a fight when I stopped in your backyard, but I sure got curious of your apparent calm.” he explained, taking in the other's looks this close. It was a masterpiece, the kind he wished he could bring home for the keeps and Jungwoo loved his trophies. Speaking of it, he figured a little token from this place may help him get out of his slump, get him to focus, get him to sniff a something belonging to the alpha just for his mind to be as clear and peaceful as it was now, physically close to the addictive source of the scent.
“So how do you lack self control but never got issues with the law? Are you only crazy about stuff you can get legally? Or I suppose, from the looks of your tidy and expensive place, that you have enough money to pay for all your craving, silencing them, in abundance.” It made Jungwoo curious about what made the alpha lose his mind, what turned him in his full alpha mode. It was a dangerous thought be Jungwoo knew Yukhei had moments when his scent could be stronger, like when he'd lose control over something. He knew he was not armed to even be in this house, even less this close to Yukhei but somehow, he wondered how it would be when the alpha was literally fuming hot with pheromones.
He blew out air he had been holding in for too long, looking at his mug and he took a long sip of coffee, its taste soothing him and realigning his thoughts from the disorder Yukhei created in him just by being this close.
“Halfblood don't control themselves easily and I refuse to even try to fit in. But then again, I don't meddle with fellow hybrids so much. So it doesn't mind I turn haphazardly… I only act like a Pureblood if it's to get something out of someone.” he admits and mentally braces himself, his lips slowly before he turns to his host.
“You never told me if you're a Pure or Half Blood. Now I want to know.” he declares, leaving time for the other to say something. Even if Yukhei understand the point in resisting and doing small acts for Halfbloods’ condition to be equal to pureblood, Jungwoo wants to know if he should expect the other to get upset about his fooling purebloods, messing with them in many means to many ends.
He doesn't know looking at Yukhei is a silent charm to get him to talk, all Jungwoo wants is to see if he's hesitating or even wincing lightly in the tiniest discomfort. That's what he does after all.

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) Yukhei was slightly surprised at the other's reply given the time, but he nodded and closed the fridge before walking up to the coffee machine on top of the counter, sliding a mug out of the cabinet and speaking softly while taking the coffee out of the small glass pot beside the machine.
"You sure? Like... Strong coffee or with anything on the mix? Milk maybe?" He asked trying not to sound as invasive as he actually felt for questioning what the other liked to drink at certain times of the day. Even if that meant caffeine, in all it's strong glory, right before he was supposed to sleep.
He turned the machine on, checking if it had enough water, before pushing the coffee inside and pressing the 'on' button, slipping the mug under it.
He turned back to the other as the mug filled in, and let out a small laugh, the way the other pronounced his name printed in the back of his mind to replay and distract him at the most innoportune times. He slowly shrugged his shoulders, his eyes meeting the beta's.
"My dad was from germany, so that's why the two names..." He replied a bit unconsciously before crossing his arms over his chest, experiencing first hand the power of the other's eyes that got him to say things without really thinking them through, and keeping some filter. He made a mental note to only open his mouth when he was sure he'd be saying something that was okay to be shared. And to not really stare into the other's eyes when speaking, or else he'd be damned.
He smiled softly at the floor and shook his head "I may be overestimating you... But I don't really have that many secrets either.." He immediately cursed himself when he looked up again and met the other's narrowed eyes. Again those sweet eyes that almost had him sharing his deepest details. To avoid them he turned back to the counter just in time with the other turning to look around his living room.
He noticed the coffee mug ready and took it away from the machine placing it on the counter as he spoke "It wouldn't be too fun if you figured it all out just yet... It would take away from all the mysterious facade I have going on.." He tried to joke as he got the sugar from the upper shelf along with a spoon from the drawer.

As he turned with the things in hand to take the coffee to his unexpected guest, he was met with none other than said guest, sitting in front of him in one of the stools.
He chuckled a little while shaking his head "No problem.. I offered, you're welcome..." He said a sort of strenght in his statement as he set the coffee and sugar in front of the other. "At least if you're here I know you're not getting arrested somewhere else.." He replied only realizing what he said after he said it, and immediately letting out a short laugh to try and turn it into a joke, but even he could tell how awkward it sounded.
He immediately turned back around, taking it upon himself to clean up the machine and anything he used just to make some time before he had to look at the other again.
He turned off the machine and let out a small smile at the way the other had taken to calling him by both names instead of opting for just one or going with Lucas like he had said everyone else did. The moment was short lived as the other questioned him jokingly, but how exacly should he tell the other that no, he didn't just welcome trespassers into his home, it was just Jungwoo. So yet again he let out a small laugh trying to lighten the mood.
"I do not keep stray cats upstairs.. And for as much as you might refuse to believe it, I have never gotten in trouble with the law.." He admitted softly as he walked over to the fridge deciding to get himself a can of soda as opposing the can of beer he was actually looking at.
He jumped slightly when he heard the other slam his hand on the balcony and immediately turned around to look at him but the other was now looking at the surface in front of him, speaking apparentely really calm before looking up at him.
Yukhei cursed himself when he felt himself flush slightly. So he looked down at his can as he popped it open immediately bringing it up to his lips, thinking maybe, just maybe, he should've just gotten the beer instead.
He went around the other to take a seat on the second stool next to him, all the while struggling with himself to come up with an answer, part of him wanting to say it's okay, the more rational part reminding him that it would probably not be okay, because he himself wasn't sure how much self control he could manage if the other wasn't making it easy on him.
"I'm not exacly the most controlled person myself.." He replied, finding his own mid-term with that simple sentence of half the truth, as it was only true when it came to Jungwoo's scent. But he was hoping the other would make his own assumptions about it. He could either take it as encouragement, to go on ahead, or think it might not be a good idea to have both of them on low self-control mode.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) Right, two could play this game. But Jungwoo was not used to meeting people thinking like him to this extent. He both loved and hated it, how he knew so little about Yukhei, how their stubbornness found a match in each other. It mostly scared him how he was feeling familiar around the alpha, how curious he was of him, drawn to everything about him like he couldn't be the usual dissing condescending prick he was. It was like he had no personality anymore, like anything about the stranger was bound to please or at least fit him just fine. He worried he was going to appear deprived of personality when he should be scared he was secretly bound to like the other a little too much for countless reasons.
Jungwoo would have tried to stubbornly hold onto his name forever if someone didn't sell him so quick, he was responsible though, for inviting Yukhei in a circle that could sell him out in a few ways. Not that Jungwoo was very open with anyone, but his tasks in the resistance made it clear of what he was capable of. He only wished the alpha would let him in too somehow.
Well he literally did let him in his home.

Jungwoo was used to being stared at, gazed at, studied, mostly because he put himself at strangers’ mercy most of his days. It challenged them to trust him, provoking them and hoping they would take the bait. Usually people's eyes on him gave him even more assurance, swelling his ego, but this alpha's eyes on him made him doubt himself. The beta knew his looks were good, but here he wasn't so sure his hair was brushed enough, he doubted his skin was perfect enough, as if the other's eyes could send common standards down the drain just like that. Or as if this alpha stood above the rest, he clearly did to him and it wasn't easy to admit for Jungwoo.

“Coffee, please.”
His answer was so obvious, this late, but Jungwoo didn't mind. If Yukhei didn't question it well it would be his loss, because that drink was the ideal choice to either have the strength to run back home in the night later or to explore this house, watch his host fall asleep possibly? Jungwoo hoped the other would let his guard down at some point by either talking or by passing out and coffee was for the beta’s endurance.
“Yukhei-Lucas. And here I was almost losing hope of getting at least the first letter of your name, I get two names instead.”
He had to repeat it immediately. He wished to write it, tag it throughout town, know it and remember it for years. It felt like things fell in order now that he knew the alpha's names, it did for a second. But then Jungwoo got so much greedy for more, wishing this was maybe one of those combo time in games when things came in easy and it wouldn't stop until he wouldn't be able to keep the stream of information.
“All of your secrets in just five minutes? You're either overestimating me or you have like 3 secrets… but is it that bad if I figure you out very quickly? How long do you wish to keep me on my toes for?”
He narrowed his eyes, and looked away from the alpha, but his eyes only seeked a sight that would help him calm down on the obvious yet unexplained interest he had in a complete stranger. He watched a wall and breathed slowly, monitoring himself in that manner that was so easy for any hybrid to notice.
Before he realized it, Jungwoo was walking to the kitchen, following his host for no other reason than to enjoy the tiniest details about him. He still didn't look him in the eyes, but he watched the other's hands, his every move, the way lights and shadows reacted to the shape of his clothes, the curves of his body. It was all divinely distracting and enough to keep him from actually looking for the said secrets around the house.

To the invitation to use Yukhei's house as a shelter, Jungwoo blinked and looked up to the other's face, his own a little flustered. That was either blindly protective or stupid kindness but Jungwoo figured it was a bit of both, a perfect mix for an alpha.
His lips curled slowly and he ended up beaming at Yukhei, clearly thankful without questioning the reasons behind the other's invitation. The fact that he needed to hide was caused by Yukhei, invading his mind so the latter's place as a shelter couldn't be the best solution. But Jungwoo was way too happy about it.
“Trouble loves me lately, I might be using this Hall Pass more than you'd like.” he warned and he sat up on a stool in the kitchen area, closer to watch the alpha. The fact that Yukhei did not question his whereabouts itched him. He wasn't one to speak of his secret missions usually but Jungwoo would be lying to himself if he pretended he didn't crave for the alpha to care, as much as he'd stress about it later.
“So… Yukhei-Lucas doesn't get alarmed by sirens and welcomes trespassers in his home. I am going to find out you keep stray cats upstairs? Also can I see your last mugshot? People who wouldn't mind sirens must have some intimate history with law enforcers, correct me if I'm wrong.”
He smirked, hoping that would get his host to talk about himself a little. But Jungwoo almost lost himself into that happiness, absentmindedly grabbing a nearby folded dishcloth and /dumbly/ pressed his nose him. His mind was actually so absent he had closed his eyes, inhaling into the clean fabric, looking for something he wished Yukhei wouldn't know he liked that much: his scent.
He froze for a few seconds, in a fulfilling daze but within a split second, the cloth was slapped to the counter, his hand on top, his head shaking slowly. Jungwoo didn't even mind if Yukhei had seen him do that because his actual worry was to later find himself, nose pressed against the alpha's arm /or something/.
“I am curious about new scents and I usually keep it cool. I can't promise you I'll calm down after a coffee though.”
He crossed his arms and painfully slowly looked up the alpha's face. He expected mockery, ready to be judged but he wouldn't mind either. Because his scent obsession would only get worse if he was to be around Yukhei more.

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) The other's reaction seemed to point towards a good judgement from his part, and Yukhei allowed himself the smallest of smiles, crossing his arms over his chest with confidence.
"Well if that ain't true.." He replied looking down into the ground with a small nod of agreement before looking up to meet the other's eyes again. He was glad they seemed to be similar on that one, at least it meant the other wasn't setting himself up for getting screwed over by others.
He let out a short laugh at the other's statement and shook his head wondering if he should finally let the other know his name, before cracking a small smile.
"Sorry there, but I believe you didn't willingly give me your name either?" He joked before giving him a last small nod as the other was about to leave.
"I did..." He mumbled softly shrugging his shoulders a little "So I guess I'll see you around next time?" He asked into the air not really expecting a reply, as the other finally left him alone to get familliar with the environement he might be visiting again in the future. He wasn't sure when or where he'd get to see the other again, and he was sure that'd be on his head for a while, but that was something he just wanted to push to the back of his mind right now. The last thing he needed right after watching the other leave, was for his mind to be filled with exclamation about when he'd get to see him again. Instead, he let out a long sigh, and let his back roll down the chair slightly into a more comfortable position, as he looked up at the omega standing on the stage.
They'd meet again eventually. Everything at it's time.

Unsure what to say, Yukhei simply nodded, wondering how could this boy not get someone's attention. The first he'd jumped over his fence, it didn't take over a second for him to notice him. He questioned himself how could someone miss the presence of the other? Specially with that addicting scent that got him hooked from the first moment he felt it? But he knew the answer... And it wasn't really something he'd like to aknowledge so he didn't dare venture down that line of thought.
He watched the beta, Jungwoo, sit on the other side of his couch, and everything on the alpha's mind was how it was hard enough when he had the other's scent all over his backyard, seeming to for days after they'd met for the first time. How the beta's scent had seemed to stick to his clothes when they simply sat together and talked at the meeting. He wondered how much harder it could get, now that the other was actually inside his living room, sitting on his couch no less. He was sure he'd have a hard time not feeling it whenever he simply passed by this room.
As the other seemed distracted, Yukhei took the moment to let his eyes linger on the other's face, scanning over his features carefully. The eyes that always seemed to either hypnotize Yukhei, or look at him challengingly. The weirdly perfectly shaped nose that seemed too soft for the boy's attitude. And his lips... The other seemed to snap back from whatever he was thinking, thankfully snapping the alpha out of his thoughts as well, before they could get where he knew they were going.
As the other finally looked up at his face, Yukhei let out a small chuckle forcing himself up from the couch and towards the kitchen that stood right behind his living room, in a connected and open space.
"Well... And what can I offer you to drink then? Any preferences?" He asked as he reached the fridge pulling it open to check what he had in there, before leaning against it's door with a small smirk, as he waited for the other to decide on a drink.
"I'm not sure having you scrapping around my house would be a good idea... I feel like you'd be the type to figure out all of my secrets on the first 5 minutes.." He replied jokingly although he himself didn't hold that many secrets. He wouldn't go around spilling his life to whoever he met, but it's not like he had anything to hide either, so if asked he'll answer. Vaguely, but he would.
"I'm Yukhei... But everyone calls me Lucas.." He said simply, feeling slight relieve at the thought of the other expecting to see him again.
He had a quick internal war with himself after taking the other's words, before finally opening his mouth"You are welcome to take refugy here anytime you need... Though it will be a good sign if you don't need it, you're welcome..." He said, knowing fully well he might kick himself over this decision later, but at the same time sure it wouldn't be entirely bad and a small part of him, would also thank himself.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) Listening to the alpha, Jungwoo's gaze considerably softened, pleased to hear what the other perceived of him. It got him wondering if he gave away that much for anyone to see or if this alpha went through the trouble of analyzing the tiniest reply or absence of reply to come to those pretty accurate conclusions. From the first observation about his lack of trust in everyone, Jungwoo simply looked interested, head tilted slightly in mere curiosity.
“It's a good thing I don't trust people so easily. I hope you don't either. I know for a fact the prettiest smiles can hide the coldest hearts.”
He referred to his own heart, knowing his facade was enough to fool those he needed to swindle information from, a gift but also a wall his entourage hardly saw past.
“You're about right… I don't make it any easy, and as a consequence, I do not collect friends. You read pretty well, and I don't possess that skill to impress you too sadly. But I know you held onto your name this long so I guess you are not trusting that easily either. And yet, you came to the meeting.”
Jungwoo didn't have the skills to draw the appropriate conclusions to these facts combined but it helped a lopsided smile spread to his lips, feeling thankful this alpha was not only pleasing to the senses but also interested in his precious cause. It had no equal, but Jungwoo would sell himself cheap if he dared commenting on it right there, so he let it die down and bid farewell to his guest.

It almost seemed like the alpha did not expect that name to really be his, calling him and adding nothing at all when he confirmed it. It amused Jungwoo but he was polite enough to not show it, yet not polite enough to wait for the owner to invite him in.
The inquiries were suddenly intrusive, boldly summoning the beta to spill whatever threat had him followed. He could easily remind the other he was in no position to ask of such details and yet Jungwoo did none of that.
“I don’t usually get the law enforcers’ attention, it's as bad as a failure in my mission.”
Explanations were in order when he picked this house as his shelter. It was maybe just impulsive and cocky of the alpha to ask, but Jungwoo refrained once again from crossing the other's eyes, fearing he might either snap or give in and nothing in the middle if he saw how serious the handsome stranger looked. He was luckily invited to sit on the couch which he jolted for. He sat as advised, leaving a cautious distance between them, even when their scents were nearly mixing up , /embracing/ one another in a fragrance that was genuinely appealing for all Jungwoo could admit to himself. He sighed and was still too stiff to properly sit back in the couch or to even try to properly watch the other. So with his eyes to the ground, naturally travelling to the other's feet, gazing at the ankles he found almost abnormally /nice/, nice enough to touch for himself, massage even. Jungwoo shivered so obviously at the thought, snapping out of his state he blame on the intoxicating scent and cleared his throat.
“You're helping me plenty by letting me stay here, but if you're willing to allow me more then maybe something to drink and either your name or your authorization to dig around your house for your identity.”
Jungwoo's eyes lifted up to the other's face painfully slowly, a witty smile pulling on his tiers. He was never going to have enough.
“And yes, if I ask for your name, it's because I am bound to see you again, meetings or not. No matter how much I push away people, I can't have you mixed up with the rest can I?” he chuckles softly, trying to relay the delicate topic casually while on unknown territory. “At least, not after running to your neighbourhood tonight.”
He remained vague on that account but wouldn't deny it was an odd pick of shelter considering he knew nothing of his host.
He refused to shy away from the fact that he was attracted to this place, he tried to get even with his beta if only to just carry on his missions better, possibly.
Jungwoo knew it was a risk to expose himself, admitting he had a weakness that somehow had him running straight to this place rather than any other. But the beta saw it as a way to deal with his /slight/ obsession for this alpha.

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) He gave him a small curious smirk but nodded his head softly "Sounds good... I don't have much just yet since even I am not that quick to judge and this is only our second meeting... But I would say you look like the type that wouldn't just trust someone easily.." He said looking over the other's expression, trying to read his eyes for anything that could tell him wether he was heading in the wrong or right direction "I mean... Sure you're cool and easy to talk to, but it's not like you blindly trust the good in people, and it takes a while to get close to you.. you make it hard too.. am I right?" He asked trying to pass on a confident aura, and yet hoping he himself wasn't blindly assuming wrong things about the other.
The other seemed to just stand there for a while, staring into his eyes, and Yukhei could tell a lot of different thoughts were spiralling around in his mind but the alpha couldn't quite understand what, though he could relate to the feeling. He had no idea what the other was thinking about, but for him, whenever he was near the beta, his mind just went into an overdrive and made a show of taking notes of every single new detail he learnt about the other. The way he slowly parted his lips as he took deep breaths trying to catch his breath. He must have been running. The way he looked a bit panicked right now. And the look of surprise that replaced the panicked expression, when Yukhei's own lips had parted to whisper the other's name softly.
After the moment was broken, the other took a few steps towards him, and the alpha's breath caught in his throat as they stood so close together, when the other replied back to him with a simple 'yes'. That gave him room to lead the conversation wherever, and yet right now, he couldn't seem to come up with something to say.
Before he could say anything, the other slipped right past him and inside his house, and for a second Yukhei felt a bit self conscious. He had a nice place, but most of the time it looked slightly messy. He was quick to remind himself he was not supposed to impress the other, and the other had just invited himself in, so he shouldn't be worried about something such as a clean house.
He walked inside after the other closing the door behind him and standing in his living room.
"Company?" He asked turning very serious, a tone of agressiveness in his voice "What company? Were you being followed?" He immediately shut up, noticing the other's hand motion and realizing what he meant "Oh..."
He felt slightly ashamed at his own reaction, and he felt his cheeks heating up, glad the other wasn't actually looking at him. As the other explained, Yukhei nodded a bit unconsciously, even if the other couldn't see it.
"I see..." He replied carefully as the other finally turned to face him "Come in then..." He replied motioning to the big couch, before walking up towards it and slowly taking a seat.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" He asked, unsure what he himself could do, or what he was even offering.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) “Then, since you barely know anything about me, how about you play that reading and guessing game about me and if you're right, I will ask you about my future.”
It didn't feel like that much of a reach think the alpha was somehow curious about him anyway. Also it was a little challenge Jungwoo would keep in mind, something to distract him from the face that was molded to kill his heart pace at sight he believed. Kill with perfection, mixing handsome, cute to attract.
Well maybe the face itself was too much of a distraction and what made Jungwoo feel sane again was that intoxicating scent the alpha carried around like he was at war, carrying the mass destruction weapon to save the universe. Even when in the garden in the dark, he could feel the scent owner move in his house, any step closer, any step back, a slow hesitation, any pause. But in all, he felt surrounded by it, by the alpha and that was the most sane he had felt for weeks since they met and even before. This was paradise. And it was still nothing compared to the moment the owner of the backyard and house opened his backdoor, eyes slowly focusing on him. In this light, Jungwoo could make up the broad torso of the alpha, mouth running so dry at the marvellous sight, heart beating too hard in his ears to even consider the sirens getting closer to this neighborhood. The unexpected whisper of his name took the beta by such a surprise he found himself standing in answer almost obediently. He had made a point to not mention his name and in this moment he couldn't believe the alpha did the extra effort to learn it from someone else. He had so many words to throw to such occasion, the kind of banter that would shame the alpha for being so curious about him, a not so lambda beta he barely met, but he remained quiet. His lips curled into a little amused smile as he dared stepping closer to the house, closer than he ever was with this house and eventually closer than he ever was with the alpha. It felt tremendously tiring to Jungwoo's body, like the ascension to the everest except cold was just burning hot here. He stopped when he stood a step away from being side by side with the alpha.
“Yes.”
It certainly did not get any easy with time, Jungwoo felt himself as high as the first time he had stood close to the alpha. His conscious mind seemed to be floating above his own body and he was about sure he would collapse to the ground if he was to so much as brush the stranger's clothes. So the beta rotated so as to slide himself between the doorframe and the alpha yet without touching him. He looked like he was manipulating a radioactive core, monitoring his breath and moving slowly. It was because of the scent, but also because he was invading the other's place and personal space. It was the home Jungwoo wanted to set foot in the most to just learn about the quiet alpha. He wasn't clearly invited but he dared taking his name as an invitation and still kept his eyes on the alpha all the way in case the alpha reacted like, well, a wolf protecting his territory. Truth was, he was seeking shelter; Jungwoo used to have other places to go but here he felt better, even if he couldn't breathe so well or rather: even if the oxygen didn't feel enough to live. He averted his eyes from the alpha and looked around the place, bound to learn some more about him.
“Sorry for dropping by unannounced. I hope my company didn't tail me all the way to your place…”
To this, Jungwoo spun his finger in the air, mimicking the police beacons. He was trouble and not ashamed to say it as it was maybe the ideal time for the alpha to send him away if he wanted nothing to do with it.
He wanted to ask about the meeting, about what the alpha thought of it, if he'd go again, but his eyes were looking for a place he could crouch on after the long run he had. If the other let him, Jungwoo was likely to get comfortable, his palm running over options, be it a sofa, a high chair, or a plain wall he could sit against.
“I'm usually more discreet but things haven't been playing out my way for a while now.” Only then did the beta look up at the other, unreadable as he both accused the other and still felt grateful to him somehow. There stood the reason why he hadn't been feeling quite the same, the one he didn't want to avoid anymore if it could help his situation.

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) Yukhei raised his eyebrow at him with a confident smile "I'm usually pretty good at this thing, of reading people and quite quick at assuming things.."
He chuckled a little and nodded slightly "Indeed.. and yet I know barely anything.." He admitted with a small shrug of his shoulders, unsure of what he himself was implying with that statement.
He could see a glint of something like distress, or nervousness flashing through the other's eyes but it was quick to disappear and so he decided to let it go, instead foccusing on the small smile, now playing on the other's lips.
It was enough to keep him distracted for a few moments, but that concentration was broken the moment the other got called, by someone Yukhei had never seen, and who seemed to be close to the beta.
Although he tried to convince himself he wouldn't, he was well aware that he'd end up trying to smoothly slide this into their conversation next time to try and get some answers the other probably didn't own him.
His train of though was suddenly stopped at the thought of the words 'next time' and he knew he had already managed dig himself in. Every time he saw this boy, the desire to see him again, would be stronger, and yet here he was, a few seconds after the other left him to pay attention to the speeches that were just getting started.
He shook his head with a sigh. Not now. He'd think about it later. He told himself, well aware that he wouldn't willingly put much thought into it, as he didn't want to dig up things he wasn't ready to deal with.

It is long days later, when Yukhei feels the other's scent again. For a moment he even considers it being a part of his imagination, since the other has set foot near his back garden since the first time they met, and the only other time they saw each other was when the alpha went up to the meeting himself.
He was in the middle of readying himself for bed, about to slide on a tshirt to sleep in, when the scent became stronger, and he was so sure the other was near. The question though was, what was he doing here?
Yukhei slid on his shirt while making his way down the steps to his living room. When he finally got to the bottom floor, his steps slowed down considerably.
He was know sure the other was around here. Clearly outside, since his back door was locked, and he highly doubted the other would just walk inside his house like that. So, carefully, the alpha took a few more steps towards his sliding door and unlocked it, taking a deep breathe. The other's scent was even a bit more intense this time and he wondered what he'd been doing.
He didn't see the other immediately as he seemed to be sitting down at a rather dark corner, yet the alpha's nose directed his attention in the right direction and after his eyes adjusting to the darkness, he was finally able to see the figure of the other.
"Jungwoo..." He whispered into the night, unaware that it was the first time he had actually called the other by his name. The name had actually been playing in his mind ever since it was mentioned in front of him, and it just came out too natural for some reason.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) "Pretty early to assume things about me huh? And yet you know more about me than I do you."
This rebellion thingee was that important to Jungwoo, but he did know the alpha's place. It gave him some undeniable power whenever he wanted to see the alpha while the latter would mostly have to wait for a reunion. Jungwoo couldn't lie however, not to the alpha, so did not comment to his acting a little jealous. He was jealous about what belonged to him and thus he didnt feel so okay to explain why he just snapped.
Truth is, now that he knew how much this alpha cared for the same cause, Jungwoo smiled, feeling like this was fate, actual fate. Any shared oponion would be fate, if it was to rain on them, it would be fate and if the sun shined on them it would be fate as well. He seemed to be unconsciously looking for reasons to prove himself it would be okay to give in and yet refrained himself from looking the handsome alpha in the eye, he kept his head low and did not fight it when called elsewhere although he would regret leaving.
There was just something about the way the other parted from him, something about the way he spat those words that irked Jungwoo. He was certainly imagining things but it felt like he'd owe the alpha for leaving like that.

A few days go by and something bad happens. Police sirens bad.
Jungwoo runs straight to the one place he knows will do him good. He needs to go to the place he feels safe at, and for once he doesn’t disappear in the forest. For once he goes to the one place he’s been avoiding for weeks since the first encounter.
He’s hopping fences like he’s an athlete, his skinny denims and tshirt sticking to his chest for how long he’s been running away from his last heist gone wrong. It happens, they say, sooner or later, you get caught, but Jungwoo is hurt to the core of his pride for being so sloppy, he triggered some loser alarm on his way in to steal valuable date on a flash drive. He is hurt that a certain alpha has his mind in such a state of distraction he’s been tripping on bald ground for weeks, he misses his bus while sitting at the bus stop, he eats calcined food every time he cooks; his life turned into a comedy. And he’s even more frustrated that the only place he can imagine himself settling at when out of breath, in danger and in need of rest is in that alpha’s garden. No, Jungwoo wouldn’t dare asking him for a shelter. He just knows the scent around the other’s home will be enough to calm his mind like no other place would. He knows it and his beta /needs/ it. He knows that he wouldn’t let himself fall into that trap if he was thinking clearly, but Jungwoo is somewhat vulnerable and he doesn’t question himself.
The moment he sits on the grass in the dark, Jungwoo is very close to okay. It’s not just about the chase: he simply hasn’t been okay, ever since he walked away from the alpha. He can’t lie to himself even if he’s ashamed of it: his beta needs that alpha’s presence. He knows his heart is at rest when he’s close to the guy and even just his scent calms his mind. He could just fall asleep there. His palms rubs the grass on his sides and he closes his eyes. He has been looking on the web for experiences of people rejecting someone they can feel a strong pull to even though they aren’t bonded and it turns out it’s a pretty rare search and no answer reassured Jungwoo. He still had no clue if he should or even could ignore the pull to the alpha whose garden alone did more good to him than any sleeping or anxiety pill. A little voice in his head keeps on saying he’s ed, and Jungwoo knows he must be. Because he knows this place, and he keeps thinking of it, or he’s thinking about the alpha, his little smirk, his soothing voice, the sun kissed skin of his forearm he was mesmerized by, at the meeting... It’s like a disease to just have knowledge of his existance, of how much he can need a total stranger for reasons his intellect doesn’t grasp. But he opens his eyelids and peeps at the windows from where he is, wondering if the owner is home. It’s maybe time he stops ignoring and /uses/ the alpha to get better, even just to try to move on. Relationships are way out of his mind, but maybe they could come to an agreement where Jungwoo gets his dose of the alpha’s presence and gets done. Maybe someday, that dependency wears out. Maybe that alpha is /that/ cool.

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) The alpha's smile was present yet again at the other's next statement and he quirked his eyebrow with a small almost disbeliefing nod "Hm~ If I hadn't known any better I would have assumed you were jealous or something.." He said without really meaning to, but not entirely regretting, even if his heart was slowly preparing itself for the snappy reply that was sure to come.
He was a bit surprised, and although he'd never admitted, disappointed, when the other turned his face down, preventing the alpha from running his eyes through the memorizing features of the other. It was the first time he'd seen his entire uncovered face, and it felt like too short of a moment to the point that Yukhei felt the urge to reach forward and push the other's chin up with his finger just so he could see more of the other's face again. But he didn't.
He nodded a little in understanding, though the other wasn't really looking at his face. That did sound like society. And although he was not here with the purest of intentions, as he too, came to look for the beta, again not something you'd get him to say aloud, he still wanted to help. Specially since it was a cause he could relate to.
"Well, believe it or not, that's not why I'm here... I'm here for the actual cause, and to see what I can do to help..." He said simply tilting his head to the said with a small smile. He was sure the other was right and not everyone here was around to help, and obviously not everyone was willing to go to the same lenghts, so that's why he was here. To see for himself what was being done, and what he himself could do to help. Getting to see the other was just a bonus. He wasn't yet sure wether good or bad, cuz even if right now it didn't really feel all that wrong, he was sure he would curse himself later.
He saw a small curious twinkle in the other's eyes and knew he was trying to get something out of him. He debated with himself a little wether to give in that small bit of information or if it was better to not say it just yet.
"Since this is a cause I can relate to, I thought it was best if I didn't..." He admitted for the first time since they met, trying to pass on a more confident smile when he felt a bit exposed since he didn't share this information a lot with people.

They simply stood there with their eyes locked for a few moments before the beta spoke again, with a soft convincing voice that manage to steal a small chuckle from the other's throat. He gave me a small nod and glanced up at the stage where everything was ready for the speeches.
"I will then.. Thanks for the advice.." He said before noticing someone else getting close to the beta, immediately getting his attention. He could feel something in him rising, almost making him miss the name whispered. He was well aware that this shouldn't bother him. At all. They knew next to nothing about each other, and they were nothing to each other. So he supressed the low growl that was forming in his throat, gulping down his unreasonable anger and nodding at the other as he spoke again.
"See you..." He replied quickly, a bit more agressive than he'd meant it to sound. He watched the beta walk away, and as he disappeared in the crowd of people, he finally turned back around in his chair to look forward to the stage.
As someone walked up to the stage to start their speech the only thing in his head was the name whispered just a few seconds ago, and the scent that still filled his nose. He was determined to pay attention to the speeches as well as the presentations and everything said today, but he knew a small part of his brain wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything else just yet.
"Jungwoo.." He whispered under his breath unconsciously, wanting to know how the name sounded through his lips.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) Jungwoo’s stomach could turn from the sight of some stranger talking to yet another stranger whose smell was all too comforting and unsettling. He felt sick enough to take the time to glare at the girl. But maybe the blush on his face was caused by the fact that he was just this close to the alpha he still knew nothing about, that he was seeing the other this close for the first time ever, in clear light, and the features would haunt him like that scent did, the smirk was maddening, and those eyes...
“I'm concerned by many things. Why, are you worried I have too many causes at heart?”
Snapping something back was Jungwoo's best defense when his facial color screamt /I'm not comfortable with you this close/. He hoped the alpha wouldn't plainly assumed what he somechat implied: that his whereabouts could be a cause dear to his heart, something he'd ride his bike late at night for (which he had thought of doing a few times to just get a healthy intake of that addictive scent the alpha carried around like a strong cologne).
Now Jungwoo realized it was the first time his face was seen entirely for the first time by the alpha and it was a little late to put a mask on. Still he lowered his head and shook it in a useless aim to have his forehead bangs all they could although it was mostly just plain forehead skin. His eyes were clocked on the forearm that held the chair in front of him, the vein he wished to outline with his fingers just to feel the electric shock he expected it would be to land a finger on the alpha.
The way the alpha cleared his intentions caught Jungwoo’s attention instead of daydreaming about the very arm before him. This one seemed so serious it was attractive, Jungwoo thought. The guy was a total trap for him, and right now, the beta couldn’t let himself react or he’d have to be too soft. He couldn’t afford to let his guard down any soon.
“Some people here are trouble anyway. I don’t know how much you want to invest in the cause but many people here would rather flirt with danger for the cause, you know.”
This was a free warning, since this alpha seemed like he could fend for himself, but Jungwoo also couldn’t lie about how he didn’t flirt at those meetings. In fact, he was most likely describing his investment in the cause, which came first these days. He had always been a hothead for those desperate missions and the fact that he was still walking free only made Jungwoo feel invincible and more eager to do the impossible for precious intel.
“I guess I should feel lucky you didn’t call the cops on me and actually listened to what I was saying...” He commented, half surprised and expecting the other to maybe mention there was something personal about wanting to join in, maybe the alpha’s heritage wasn’t pure, maybe it spoke to his experience. But Jungwoo still got no detail about what was going on past those generous lips, those eyes.
On him.

They were a long way into the meeting, a list of public awareness was made and people in the assembly rose their hand to suggest the kind of actions they could take on one or another place. Meanwhile, Jungwoo had never been so distracted. It was like a better danger had topped his usual crusade. He was like on the edge of a cliff, and the alpha was floating just a few meters away from him. He wanted to take the bait, believing he could fly to that unknown alpha.
Luckily, his task were the kind that weren’t announced publicly so he could get away with missing all that would be said. But the stranger before him should listen and get to know about all what they did, how organized they were. Also, Jungwoo could only feel watched for so long before he’d shy away.
“So if you were convinced by my speeches, you should give the one on stage a chance too. Who knows, you might love it here.” He advices, his head lightly nodding to the stage, but his eyes never leaving the alpha’s features. He’d hate himself for not seeing him anymore, but somehow it had to cease. The attraction was just more than he could bear and Jungwoo just feared it was written all over his face. In fact he couldn't even imagine how he looked in this moment and that terrified him. He was smirking, because he asked for something he wasn’t sure he wanted, his mind, his heart, his beta all fighting on giving in and on running away from this place.
Before he could even sit back, someone whispered his name and he knew what it was about. He had to leave the general assembly for his own little misfits which were secretly briefed in another room in a restricted community. Jungwoo nodded to the guy and stood up. That settled the inner fight, but there sure was regret in his eyes when he glanced at the alpha, who certainly knew his name now.
“I’ll see you around, young recruit.” It’s a bit patronizing to say, but as they say, once you name someone, you get attached to him right? Well with just that, Jungwoo was so far gone already. He left the row and restrained himself to looking ahead, breathing in the scent as if it was the last time he’d ever encounter him.

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) Yukhei could tell the exact moment he felt the other approaching the meeting area. He could pinpoint the moment when the soft and far away scent of the other reached his nostrils despite the distance. He kept his eyes on the girl speaking to him but his nose was breathing in the scent as it became more and more intense as the other seemed to get closer.
When it was intense enough for him to know the beta was close enough ot be seen, he allowed his eyes to shift slowly in the crowd, careful enough to give the omega slow nods and quick glances to show he was listening. It took him only a second to turn his head when he felt the scent right by his side, and although he would've never mistaken him, he was still surprised to see the other sitting right behind him, momentarily forgetting the omega still talking next to them.
His eyes locked in the other's as he reminded both of them about the girl's presence, and for a second he was overwhelmed by the intensity of the scent that filled his nose at their proximity, as well as flustered and unsure of what to answer, the urge to deny it suddenly taking over him.
"No, I was just..." He caught himself before he tried to explain further, realizing he didn't own anything to the other, and leaning his arm on the back of his chair, fully turning to the beta with a small smirk "I fail to see how that is a concern of yours?" He replied reminding himself that this would've been his immediate reply under any other circumstances, but this boy had an effect on him that he just wasn't his usual self.
He realized this yet again when he felt the need to add "But no... I'm more respectful of this meeting than to come here just to flirt..." He tried to keep his cool as he dismissed the other's suggestion, convincing himself that it was only about being honest and it had nothing to do with not wanting the other to misunderstand.
He felt a bit bad for the omega, but his attention was fully on someone else now and he couldn't seem to pull his eyes away from the beta. He didn't miss the glare the male was giving the girl and something inside him seemed to twinkle and he wasn't sure wether that was a good or a bad thing.
He nodded slowly his smirk softening into a smile noticing the other's flushed cheeks "Hm.. You convinced me with your little speech.." He admitted half a tiny bit of the truth, the main reason of him being here, being the fact that the other would be here as well, and he wanted, needed, to see him for some reason.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) Somehow, even days after the meeting Jungwoo foolishly identified as an incident, he still felt the alpha's eyes on his back, at the most random moments. Be it when he was running errands, using a fake identity to parade in places his real birth certificate would never allow him to get into or when laying flat on his back in his bed, he still got the cold chills, whenever his mind recollected a detail about the incident.
The incident was a catastrophy if Jungwoo was to be honest: nothing had happened yet time wouldn't let him forget about the alpha, long mindless bike rides would lead him straight into that cursed neighborhood where all his posters were ripped down and no new ones were stuck, because he couldn't handle the attraction and therr was no way he'd expose himself to the temptation. Nothing had happened between them and Jungwoo couldn't believe he was this drawn to the alpha. Heck, he didn't even know the guy's name.
He didn't want to name it a catastrophy yet because his heat wasn't even around. Each day would bring him closer to that cycle and he was running out of time, finding no way to strip the alpha's scent and image off his memory. The moment he'd get hormonal, how bad would it get? Catastrophy-like. This was how he picked himself up, trying to live on his damn life, meet new people, flirt excessively with his targets to at least try to get that new fix he needed, but getting nauseated instead.

Attending the secret meeting seemed like a good idea, because time did one thing: it erased from his memory all traces of the alpha's friendly behavior towards him. Surely it would be easier to forget about the guy if Jungwoo felt ineluctably lonely in that one-sided obsessession. But he was barely even in the premise that he felt the cold chill again. He turned and smiled at some meaningless fella walking right behind him, but that was before he was in the hall, before he smelled /him/.
Jungwoo let out a long sigh of relief without even noticing, eyes looking for the alpha among the many backs. He had planned on staying that far, thinking his beta was being needy and he shouldn't grant himself any comfort in the alpha's vicinity. But as he saw a nobody pass by the alpha to take the seat next to him, smiling at him like they knew each other (or he was just seeing things), Jungwoo's legs moved on their own, leaping to the row just behind the alpha's. The beta sat right behind the alpha, completely oblivious of the talks on the stage and he knew this alpha was trouble for him if he was enough to get his attention off his dear cause.
Jungwoo felt threatened out of his damn mind, enough to assert a territory he did not even possess but as he thought in this critical moment, /what the hell/.
"Flirting with the first omega that passes by, huh?"
Jungwoo whispered to the alpha's ear boldly, glaring at the said omega who sat right next to him. He had no proof of such a thing, but that was it, he was so irked some leechy omega had bumped into the alpha's legs possibly, he ignored how dangerous it was to be that close to the alpha. Well he now regretted, the alpha's scent filling his nostrils, his cheeks reddening for no reason he could explain to himself. "Good to see the poster made its little effect on you." Cause why else would the alpha want in on their cause?

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) They just stood there looking at one another for a long while beforfe the other spoke again, Yukhei giving a small nod in reply, before the other turned around to slowly paste one of the bigger posters onto his fence.
The other was taking his time, so Yukhei took the chance to let his eyes wonder over the other yet again, now that the other's back was turned to him, and he could do it 'freely'.
As the beta turned back to him, quickly picking up his bag, Yukhei knew it was finally time they part. It was for the better, the scent was driving him crazy and he wasn't sure how much longer he would've been able to hold out and not jump the other.
He nodded a little unsure of what else to say before simply whispering a small 'no problem' with the smallest of smiles, watching the other jump over his fence and away from his backyard, while he just stood there breathing in a bit more of the other's scent, before letting out a long frustrated sigh and walking back inside his apartment.

--

It wasn't easy for him the next few days and Yukhei was in a war within himself, about wether he wanted to see the other boy again, which he did, or wether he would rather never see him again, his rational side agreeing with this and telling him he should probably stay away.
His rational side was able to win for a while, and then his body was moving on it's own, and before he could even realize what he was doing, he was standing in front of the meeting place. He stood at the door like an idiot for some long minutes, before another alpha patted his shoulder, making his heart jump while he kept his blank expression, and asked him if he wasn't going in.
He gave him a small nod and a weak attempt at a smile before he walked in, his eyes immediately searching for the other, before he just convinced himself to sit and wait, he was here for the meeting anyway, it didn't matter if the other didn't show up, he said to himself forcing his eyes into the girl who walked up to the front of the room to start to speak.

(kinda went the way we agreed on the pms and time skipped to the meeting, we can also have them not talk here if you want and just notice each other and later have jungwoo swing by his house again?)
кιм נυиgωσσ (в) 2 years ago
@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) Jungwoo could be stubborn for some things but enrolling new members to the activist part or the movement was not his worry. No matter how passionate and devoted he was to the fight, he kept his friends out of the loop, he even hid his night activity to some. It meant he wouldn't be very close to them and they wouldn't know a big part of his life but it was okay. Jungwoo still believed a tremendously sudden and violent act could propel the mixed blood’s movement to another level, whether they were taken seriously or not and it was all that mattered to Jungwoo. Still he was glad this alpha bearing such an attractive scent agreed and understood. It meant nothing but if he was open to dialogue, then maybe would the beta look back to this rather long pause in uncharted territory as a progress in interesting one calm and mysterious alpha.
He was amused to be amused to pass by some other time. Oh the beta wanted no less, he'd need this very much, but a second visit was simply out of question. The moment he'd even think about giving would be the moment he'd actually give in. No doubt could exist now that he knew his weakness, looked it in the eyes and felt how soft he was for him.
His eyes travelled to how the stranger played with the crumpled flyer and his throat was dry. Jungwoo refused to even think of how sensitive he felt to the sight of the alpha touching one of his belongings. It made no sense. He inhaled, closing his eyes and regretted it as much as he loved the scent. Jungwoo felt like his blood was sparkling in his veins and he hoped it was just the full smell of the alpha's rut. That it was the most he could be affected because this was bad enough. His body ached for something more this instant but he thought the obvious, telling himself he didn't want this. But then again…
“sounds positive. It was worth stopping by your lane.”
What he did not expect was for the stranger to agree to having his fence decorated with the poster. Jungwoo smiled, eyebrows lifting high before he executed himself, dropping the bag and turning his back on the house and the alpha. The poster pasting was considered an offense, but of all nights he had done this, never had Jungwoo been this anxious, this careful about how he’d apply paste, flattening the print on top of it neatly, unsure if the alpha was watching him. The beta could swear the scent was so strong the alpha could be back on his balcony or just behind his back he wouldn't know, feeling like in a trance.
A few minutes and he was done, packing his things up, glancing at the printing he had just put up for one person to see. He felt too affected to even stay anymore and decided it was time he kicked himself out before he'd blurt out his address or something equally personal. He secured his bag back on his shoulder and took a last look at the alpha, knowing he'd hate himself later for not embracing the urges.
“So I wish you some fruitful meditations on this print and also...thanks. For all.”
For the calm reaction to his trespassing, for the divine scent, for the nice looks, and many more details Jungwoo sealed behind a warm smile The next minute he had his mask up and jumped off the property, racing off, despite how his own body declared war to his brain for each meter separating him from the alpha.

(( we should plot how they next meet!))
ωσиg уυкнєι (α) [A] 2 years ago
@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) Yukhei nodded slowly becoming extremely aware of the fact that he was having a completely normal and casual conversation, in his backyard, with a complete stranger whose name or age he didn't even know. Yet? And who had casually jumped over his fence and had his scent spread over his entire house, to the point he was sure it would remain to bother him for at the very least, for the next week.

"You're right.." He said and a small part of him was burning slightly with the desire to join. He knew that was his impulsive part, The part of him that had always been the most bothered about the comments towards his blood type, and the part that usually ended up flipping his switch to something a bit more, aggressive "I understand.." He said simply, wondering if the other would be able to read the undertones of just these two words.
Although he didn't feel threatened as there was clearly no reason to fear that talking about his blood type with this other hybrid would lead him into trouble or even a fight, it still wasn't easy to him to just bring it up and talk casually. And again, this was a complete stranger he was talking to, and he had no idea why he was still keeping up conversation, or wanting to share this fact with him, specially since he didn't share it often. Or rather, he had a small idea of just why it might be, but he didn't really need that in his life right now, so he was not going to deal with that now.

He watched the other looking at his hand in what looked like slight shock or confusion his jaw dropping the slighest in an attempt to talk, before the words finally left his mouth.
"It's okay... You can just pass by another time or-"
He shook his head in understanding, his eyes moving to the bag the other was no w searching over, opening and closing various zippers only to look at him with slight disappointment, before his eyes twinkled the slighest as he pulled out a crumpled flyer from his pants pocket. Yukhei unconsciously smiled a little, and bit his lips a little when he carefully reached forward to pick it up the small piece of paper from the other's fingers, his nose immediately picking up the scent as he neared it to his face to take a lot. He decided it would be a good idea, to read it later, while the other was no longer right in front of him, and let his hand fall down next to his body, as well as his lip fall from between his teeth.
"Don't worry I won't disclose anything... I'm not sure about being actually helpful at coming up with more ideas to help, but you'll probably see me there sometime.." He replied his fingers unconsciously playing with the paper in his fingers, bending the corners then putting them back together as a distraction from the /sample/ of the scent that was so close to him now.

He smiles at the other and nods slightly pushing down the slight feeling of disappointment at the other's words, which was quickly replaced by a small blush of surprise at either the other's blunt yet attentive comment or the smirk on his face, he wasn't sure.
"Hm.. Do that.." He replied positively as the other steps back slightly, doing the same as he stepped towards his back door sliding it open, all the while keeping his eyes in the other, whose name and age he was so torn between wanting to know, and not ever wanting to find out.

@ωσиg уυкнєι (α) Jungwoo was hyper sensitive enouh to unconsciously match his breathing pace to the alphas, feeling a kind of harmony that soothed him. This really was witchcraft; it wasn't enough to compensate how maddening the other's scent was, but it helped ignoring the meters seperating him from the stranger, it helped surviving the way the other's lips curled so charmingly and that alone was true progress. He was so self conscious when the stranger's eyes roamed his body, wondering about the tiniest detail on himself, scrutinizing the alpha's face for any kind of feedback, ignoring how tense he looked and most likely unable to do anything about it.

Jungwoo's lips curled, eyes wandering down as he thought of the levels of motivation in the movement. Some were dangerous, selfless if for the cause, and others were pragmatic, eager to make a change if well-thought ahead and Jungwoo assumed he was in the middle, hoping to do things right, politically, and sometimes impulsively supporting tricks, extorsions, coups that could make the Mixed Blood's condition even worse before a better. "I don't do the speeches and such, but it's for my freedom I fight, I can't do it ony halfway." He added and wondered if it had any meaning to the stranger. Jungwoo really believed this was the moment he'd know if the other was pure or mixed blood but this handsome alpha was also smart with his words, and very restrained. The beta gave a slow and distant nod somehow, rolling his eyes in slight disappointment to not have met someone as passionate as him. Whatever type this one was, he wouldn't put this fight fourth, he was just another bystander. Jungwoo had more expectations for all hybrids but he figured if the guy at least donated money or voted accordingly, it would still be positive.

The hand offered to him had Jungwoo freeze and stutter. "I don't have the flyers because this is poster night but I-I-"
He did not expect that one at all, fumbling through the pockets of his heavy bag until he sighed and shook his head, putting his hands in his pants' pockets. There, he felt the one flyer he had folded in four this morning at the meeting. He pulled it out and unfolded it, revealing a flyer that he had held long enough to have rubbed off some of its colors, the used flyer most likely smelling of him. "It's almost trash by now, but it's just the smaller version of my poster. Those meetings are anonymous, in secret places most of the time, they are not demonstrations. You can show up and leave, without a word. If you think there's another way to give Mixed Bloods a voice, you could share it though, we'd be interesting. I would at least."
Jungwoo makes a careful step forward that allows him to extend his arm and almost touch the alpha with the corner of the flyer, eyes stuck on the other's face.

"I should get going, but I'll gladly paste one to the inside of your fence after all. You can ponder on it while you smoke." he said with a little smirk, picking up the smell of tobacco despite the alpha's enticing smell. Jungwoo's smile spreads as he knows he's pushing a little and he takes several steps back, breathing out for he had held in his breath. I wouldn't even hide it anymore, that scent could bend him like weed in the wind.

@кιм נυиgωσσ (в) Yukhei was breathing slowly to keep his mind clear of all things as well as to inhale as little of the other's scent as it was humanly possible to him in that moment. He watched the beta slowly nod at him and the corners of his lips twitched the slightest threatening to let out a smile at the other's slight agreement.
He wanted to ask just why he had specifically stopped at his backyard, just to know if his scent was as strong to the beta, as the beta's was to him, but the other had already somewhat admitted to that, which made him even more scared of the answer and made him decide against bringing it up, simply nodding in aknowledgement.
This time his lips really turned up, giving the other a small chuckle in return.

He nodded carefully along to the other's words, his eyes travelling slowly to the other's tightly closed fist. He seemed to be struggling with his self control just as much as Yukhei himself was. Or that's what he assumed, since the other now looked comfortable enough talking to him, for it to be about simply disliking him, or being scared or uncomfortable.
His eyes travelled right up again to the other's face as he now replied to his previous questions and he raised his eyebrow "If you're only the errand boy and you're this passionate and dedicated to the cause I can only imagine what the other's are like.." He said noticing how there was a small twinkle in the other's eyes.
He listened carefully as the other explained further about the reunions and rallies, a small part of him wanting to join up, but most of him telling himself it was better to stay away from such things. And this boy as well.
"I see y'all have everything very ellaborated... That's good!" He nodded with a small smile before letting out a deep sigh as the other asked about himself, his fingers tapping slowly against his forearm as he thought for a bit in what exacly he would like to say. What exacly was okay to share.
"Well.." He started his eyes staring straight at the gress carefully processing his own words "I have, thought aobut it yeah.. I mean.. I'm not sure if this is how we'd get that to happen.. But the cause is good, and I definitely think you're right... Mixed bloods should definitely be able to comfortably be themselves in public without having to be put down because of something they have no control over.." He fully finished before lifting his eyes back up to meet the other's. He was trying to give his personal view on the matter without giving too much away about himself, and he could tell the other was pretty much doing the same.
He smiled a little reaching his hand forward "Can I have a flyer then?" He asked carefully before shrugging his shoulders casually "In case I feel like showing up..."
He knew it was best for him to not show up and to stay away from this beta. He was well aware of what might be so /wrong/ about the other's scent and just why it might seem so much more alluring to him than anyone has ever, and yet, a small part of him still managed to blame it simply on his rut, and force him to believe it had nothing to do with anything else. If he were to meet him later on though, this might change, and he wasn't sure how well he'd be able to deny it if it was the case. Because of this, the probability of him showing up wasn't that high, and yet, he still wanted that flyer, aware of the fact that just knowing he had the a way to find him if he wanted was enough to calm his mind for a bit. Cuz he just knew, this encounter would bother him for a while.
