。town plaza

Soft footsteps could be heard as Qian made her way into the plaza. It was large and bustling with people. Just how she liked it, as the chattering and sounds became white noise that helped her with her project. She found a quiet place under a large tree, touching it softly to gain a link before sitting down and leaning against it.

"Now....To actually work" She pulled out a folder with important papers about a case. She had to read up on it and make sure to set up notes. She could feel herself getting closer and closer to her killer and God, when she did.....She could feel a vine sprouting from the tree and touch her cheek, much like a snake would. She simply kissed it and willed it to hide in the branches while she continued to work.

"Poop."

"You'll just drive away me. And THEN will you be alone."

"Well crap."

"Please no, Lisa."

"Is this where we can insert a broadway montage of why we feel so lonely right now?"

"I don't know, dear."

"Where is everyone?"

"You're right, dear. But still, it doesn't mask from the fact that it's so empty. So quiet."

"I wouldn't say chaotic, mom. More like... bustling."

"It certainly is quiet for a normally chaotic town."

@♙› kihyun y。 "i didn't know it was gonna rain," he whined when his cheek was pinched, his body was ultra sensitive due to the cold," don't--" it was honestly a bit uncomfortable to hug his brother but he didn't want to pull away,"are you gonna be coming home soon? you should come home with me."

@♟ › yuri p。 “Yah, and you didn’t even think of taking an umbrella with you? Can you be a little more silly?” Pinching Yuri’s cheek slightly, he returned the embrace to wrap his arms around the taller. “Well then you’re not doing it well enough. You should be at home now, resting.”

@♙› kihyun y。 "nothing. i was just out yesterday and got drench in the rain," he wrapped his arms around his older brother, stealing some of his body heat,"i am resting." yuri mumbled back as he hid the side of his face in the warm fabric of the other's shirt

@♟ › yuri p。 sighs softly, full of exasperation but also adoration, feeling the tears slowly soak through with a frown. “What have you been doing lately? Working too hard again? I thought I told you to rest.”

weakly nods before burying my face in your shirt, tears indicative of fatigue spill over my rosy rims and wet your black shirt

@♔ › soohyuk v。 "Tragic," the female repeats with a quirked brow, chocolate orbs of interest shutting as she inclines her body against her husband's comforting warmth, a weary exhale of her own passing parted lips. Upon word of his small ramble does a faint chuckle pass her roseate hues, and she couldn't help but roll her eyes at the ridiculous ramble that dared drifted into this wind. "Maybe they just wanted their king to read to them, is that bad?" She inquired as she returned this gesture upon his pillowy pairs with eagerness, a gentle simper upon her own.

@♔ › soohyuk v。 "Daddy," she murmured with a tell-tale grin, one exuberating of such brilliance akin to the one that scintillates in the brights of her silver irises. "I'm alright," she responds absentmindedly as she continues to type upon the keys of her device just a few seconds further before she closes it and sets it down, turning in the direction of her father. "You?"

@♕ › gal v。 "oh it's been a tragic day," he feigned an exasperated sigh,"it's been horrible. the long, boring meetings were great. the highlight of my day when our neighbors in kian promised us an attack. so kind of them. then it was ruined by a class of first graders. terrible," with an exaggerated shake of his head, he went on," they all had the audacity to ask me to read to them. i don't know what this nation's coming to. there's no hope," he gently guided her to turn around and wrapped his arms about her slim waist," mmm maybe a little hope." he revised his statement in a whisper as his playful gaze fell upon her unmatched pulchritude before pressing a gentle kiss to her rosy tiers.

@♛ › lalisa v。 "father? well good to see you too, daughter," he spoke with a mock sternness which reminded him of his father, "is this how we're referring to each other from now on?" soohyuk returned to his regular tone before continuing with a smile," how are you today, princess?"

@♔ › soohyuk v。 "i'm doing alright," she fibs with a small sigh, a tell-tale simper upon a fatigued countenance as she gently rests a warm hand upon his comforting grasp. "it's coming along well, though there are still some arrangements needed to be made. and you, my love?"

@♔ › soohyuk v。 "i'm here, father," she calls out quietly from her desolate spot by the fountain, fingers tapping idly at the keys of her laptop.

"where are our children? i understand that sen keeps himself coped in the palace but i haven't even seen lalisa recently."

@♕ › gal v。 "how are you today, darling?" he inquired in a whisper as he made his way behind the woman before beginning to knead the tight muscles of his wife's shoulders,"how are the preparations for the spring awakening coming along? i presume the shrines are coming along nicely."

@♙› bogum p。 "i appreciate the assurance, but i few doubts in your abilities. they say you're one of country's finest conductors and i have to say i agree," soohyuk continued to praise the other, "so what brings you into the city today?"

"oh, that would be a wonderful experience, for sure. i assure you we would do our very best if we were to be called upon." hearing the laughter of the other only lifted bogum's spirits higher, etching a humble smile upon the conductor's lips.

"we do bring quite the entourage wherever we go," soohyuk enjoyed the other's witticism and shared a laugh with the younger," i believe it. for the upcoming ball, i was thinking of requesting the orchestra to play, but we'll see if the queen approves the idea."
