☆ a school established many years ago aimed to teach those with super powers just what they were.
☆ of course, this is a hero based school, where you will be trained to use your powers for good.
☆ based on your powers, you will be sorted as either a hero or sidekick.
☆ that cannot be changed. you will be trained as a hero or sidekick upon arrival to the school.
☆ didn't pass your initial entrance exams? don't worry! you can still be a part of the school (you have powers, after all) but you will be taking regular classes that will aid your general use of super powers.
☆ there are no grades. you can be in the school for as long as you need to be, regardless of age, until your powers are where they need to be.
☆ everything (basic needs) is provided for you here! you get a monthly allowance to spend on what you want (clothes, games, etc) but use it wisely.
☆ the use of any power that can be considered harmful (aka very powerful/desctructive) is prohibited unless practicing under supervision.
☆ fighting on school grounds? lets hope you don't end up getting in trouble.
☆ villainous people will be turned away. however, people who have chosen to stray away from villainous activities and right their ways will be welcomed.
☆ to go off campus, you must have a pass given to you by a teacher (if you're a teacher, you're fine).
☆ make sure to remember not to use your powers off campus. the world around us does not like the idea of super powers.
the dorms.
☆ dorms are split off into heroes and sidekicks, and there are 4 people per dorm room.
☆ most of the dorms are coed, no ifs and or buts about it. ooc note: they will be based on who joins in what order. we'll try not to have multiple characters in the same dorm room.
☆ you can come and visit other people's dorms, but don't get caught sleeping in someone else's room!
☆ each person has their own bed, closet, and work space in their shared rooms.
☆ putting in a formal request to change your room is allowed, but keep in mind, it may not always be granted!
☆ not everyone is placed in a dorm based on their powers/abilities. you may end up placed with someone whose powers go against your own. deal with it.
☆ if you're going to have , at least let your roommates know so no one walks in on you.
☆ curfew is at 11 pm. you're expected to at least be in your rooms, but you don't need to be asleep. keep all noise volumes to an absolute minimum after 11 pm and before 7 am.
☆ decorate how you want. however, vandalism is discouraged, and you will be punished if caught.
hero & sidekick pairs.
☆ this is for both students and teachers.
☆ students who are heroes will be paired with students who are sidekicks.
☆ teachers who are heroes will be paired with teachers who are sidekicks.
☆ ooc note: if you already have an idea of who you want to be paired with, as long as it's agreed on, let an admin know. otherwise, you cannot choose who is your hero/sidekick.
☆ who you are paired with is based on powers that go well together.
☆ if after a week you don't think it's a good fit, you can be repaired upon request.
☆ this may take time. you may not get paired up immediately, or even right after requesting a change in your pair. we admins are doing our best to make sure it will be alright. matches will happen as soon as they're available.
☆ you will be given a task that you have to do by the end of the week, each week you are paired.
☆ in order to pass that week's task, you must pm the inbox character to let them know the details of your task and how you accomplished it.
☆ this may not make sense now, but once you are paired, it should be easier to understand.
☆ only after one week, you may choose (together) to decide that you want to remain a pair.
☆ just because you are a hero & sidekick pair, does not mean you are dating or have to date.
☆ hero x sidekick pairs are not based off of ual or romantic preferences, so don't feel pressured into anything. date who you want. this is just your partner.
powers & what they do.
☆ these powers are lifted from this list. just to give an idea of types of powers.
☆ however, keep in mind rule eleven (11) in regards to powers your character can have.
☆ the "unfathomable" type of power has been removed due to this roleplay's theme and rules.
☆ concept
powers centered on an idea, allowing essentially any effect related to it.
examples: Boundary Manipulation, Subjective Reality, Absolute Existence
☆ function
powers centered on what they do, usually specialized on relatively specific fields.
examples: Creation, Destruction and most Manipulations
☆ mechanism
powers centered of the manipulation of immanent laws of reality.
examples: Physics Manipulation, Virtual Warping, Causality Manipulation
☆ source
powers centered on its origin (usually supernatural) allowing a variety of applications.
examples: Magic, Supernatural Dominion, Divinity, Lordship abilities
classes & subject ideas.
☆ these classes are just ideas! you'll have to check in this room if the class is taken or not.
☆ battle strategy
a type of class to focus on different types of battling. of course, this can be split up into battle strategy for different types of powers (telekinetic, pyrokinetic, etc).
☆ meditation
got voices in your head? can hear everyone's thoughts? need a break? take a meditation class! they'll be able to help you get all zen so you can refocus.
☆ managing your emotions
can't keep your anger, frustration, or sadness under control, and it keeps making your powers out of whack? this is the class for you!
☆ thermodynamics
heat, cold, and everything in between. especially if you control things like fire, water, ice, etc.
☆ communications
but specifically for those who have telekinesis and can speak to others using only their mind.
☆ leadership
someone has to be the leader in any given situation, so why not teach those who seem to be heading in that direction how to handle it?
☆ weapons
not everyone can rely on their superpowers in every situation. always find a weapon.
☆ reconciliation
geared toward the people who have a lot of anger issues and helping them work through that anger.
☆ becoming a hero
for people coming over to the light side. you know, villains who are now heroes and/or sidekicks.
☆ general physical education
not everyone is in ultimate form all of the time, so why not help people get better?
☆ weight training
geared specifically toward getting bigger, better, and buffer muscles. do you even lift, bruh?
☆ mystic arts
learning how to work with your magical powers. specifically with magical powers, not just general powers.
☆ general school classes
we're still growing kids! that, and if our powers aren't fully developed, we need to learn general things anyway.
