@ˢ kim minji Ryeowook felt relief wash over him at the sight of the plants, happy to know that it worked, and turned to Minji, only to find himself being pushed to the side as his student trapped herself with the drawing, instantly prompting him to snap his head up to her direction with eyes wide in horror. He scrambled to his feet and rushed to the plastic dome, pounding his fists on it — no blow was able to break it down, and this panicked the teacher even more as he watched the scene before his eyes with anxiety, heart threatening to jump out of his chest and eardrums beating at a rapid pace, drowning all other noise around him, if there were even any to begin with. He couldn’t hear what was going on inside the plastic dome, but all he knew was whatever they were talking about, it would hopefully lead to the creation being destroyed, and with that thought in mind, the teacher forced himself to peel away from the dome to help the other students, pulling them up to their feet and tending to the ones who looked disoriented, although unharmed.

By the time he had sent all the students away and turned back to Minji, Ryeowook was in time to catch the dome disintegrating and find a sobbing Minji on the ground, a sketchbook paper in hand and the blurred lady gone. Seeing his student in such agony and despair, Ryeowook couldn’t help but to watch her a bit, hesitant at first to approach before finally walking forward with slow and careful steps, stopping in front of Minji before slowly kneeling in front of her, mind blank and words failing him. Instead of saying anything to calm the girl down, he only raised a hand up gingerly behind her and patted her back, running it up and down in a soothing manner before finally leaning forward to hug her, and he could hear her crying a bit harder at the hug, which brought unwanted tears to his eyes.

It was truly pathetic, in Ryeowook’s opinion, how he could get so easily affected by other people’s emotions. It’s hard for him to control them sometimes, but he still managed to force down the tears as he let Minji cry on his shoulder, patting her back and trying to calm her down. He dared not say anything as he was sure his voice would probably crack, and that would be both awkward and unwanted, so he hoped the silence and quiet comfort would be enough of a support for his student.

It took a while before a Minji calmed down, and by then some of the other teachers had heard about the commotion and asked about the situation. Ryeowook had explained everything to them, not mentioning how the ‘monster’ which had caused such a ruckus was made by the crying girl in his arms, only saying that she had been the one to destroy it and she just broke down from the trauma. They believed in the story and started to help out in cleaning up the place, while Ryeowook busied himself by pulling Minji up to her feet and bringing her to the infirmary — what she needs right now is a warm blanket, and a cup of warm cocoa, hopefully enough to cheer her up a bit.

“We’ll go to the infirmary, okay?” Ryeowook told her softly, gently holding her arm. “Get you warmed up, have hot chocolate to drink...”

@⭑ ˢ kim ryeowook Minji was still drawing up another barricade for the other students to take cover when she heard Mr Kim yelling. She was surprised for a second, her pencil stopping midway before she quickly continued on drawing. Another barricade appeared and she quickly ordered the students to head there as it was a much safer area being away from the danger zone. The creation's main target happened to be Minji and Mr Kim, she knew she was being hunted by the two of them. "She's just confused..." Minji muttered to herself as she watched the plants come together, coming to Mr Kim's plead for help.

The plants reached towards the creation and for a moment, she paused. The strong wind settled down and became a light breeze. "Get out of here while you can," Minji urged the students, they didn't need to be the victims in her own chaos. This was entirely her fault and she didn't want anyone else to get involved - that included the teacher. The trees seemed to be mesmerizing to the creation as the plant seemed to dance around her. Minji could see how she reached up to touch the plant and gave out a sigh of relief, this was a good distraction.

She gave a smile to the man and whispered just as she finished the last details to her drawing, "Thank you." Minji pushed him to the side just as some sort of plastic dome appeared. The trees managed to retract back just as the dome trapped both Minji and the sketch inside it. It pained her to be so close to the sketch that resembled her mother - it was heartbreaking, to say the least. And even more so when the sketch spoke.

"Minji?" The voice resembled her mother but was foreign all at once. It was a voice she missed dearly but knew that this wasn't her real mother. Minji shook her head and flipped to an empty page, "Please... Stop trying to fight. Don't make this any harder than it needs to be." The girl holds out her hand, asking for the crumpled ball of paper, "You're not my real mother - you're something I drew from my dreams."

The creation started to move closer to Minji and once it was face to face with her, Minji could see the eyes of her mother staring back at her. She felt the hand coming up her cheeks and lightly brush against her skin. "You grew up well, Min..." those words were a replay from Minji's dreams, the dreams she had about meeting her mother once again. "You did a good job."

Minji took a step back, not wanting to hear anymore of the words that came out of . With a heavy heart, she grabbed the creation's hand and placed it on the empty page. In a second, the sketch disappeared - leaving behind the crumpled piece of paper and a sobbing Minji. The dome disintegrated but Minji was still on her knees, the face of her mother still haunting her mind.

@ˢ kim minji Ryeowook could feel his heart dropping into his stomach when he heard the scream, and instinctively he rushed to the scene in light speed, arriving to a destination in record time. Fear, that was the first thing he recognised when he saw his students, who were all cowering away from the sketch in fear, hands over their heads and arms outstretched in front of them to protect themselves from the rampant drawing, eyes wide in horror and face pale like snow. He almost got in front of a group of students when a bench was whirled in their direction, but thankfully Minji was quicker as she drew a barrier to protect them from the oncoming obstacle, the furniture breaking apart with the force of hitting against the barrier.

Ryeowook was panicking, he definitely was in such a situation — he didn’t know what to do. He doesn’t have extraordinary powers as to summon anything to stop or hinder this creation, and usually he would’ve gone off to find help because that was the wisest thing for someone with his power to do, to not get in the way and cause himself unnecessary pain and suffering, to find someone capable of ridding the problem.

But this, this was a different situation. There were students everywhere, he couldn’t abandon them even if he had to. It’s his duty as a teacher to protect these students, his duty to ensure that they won’t be harmed as long as they’re on the campus. This thing that was wrecking havoc at this instance was random, unpredictable and he feared if he were to even look away for a millisecond, something atrocious would happen, and he couldn’t bring himself to think of something as dangerous as that to happen.

So, he did the only thing he knew.

There was a stretch of open windows beside them, and outside he could see leaves being blown along with the wind. One can see trees and other plants outside from here, since this was still the ground floor, so everything was obvious and clearly in sight. There were no animals around, and he wondered if they had went into hiding, taking cover from the ruckus that was happening.

Ryeowook was depending on the hope that they were in close proximity.

“My little friends, if you can hear me,” yelled Ryeowook over the ruckus, pushing Minji to one side and diving away when a pot was thrown in their direction. “Please help us,” continued the teacher unfalteringly, quickly getting up from the ground. “I know you are scared, but we can stop it,” convinced the male as he looked towards the sketches lady, watching as she fiercefully let out a cry, out of anger or something else, he didn’t know. “We need your help. We need you to distract and stop her,” explained Ryeowook, a plan formulating. “Please, just get her attention enough for Minji to get near and put an end to her,” said the teacher as he looked to Minji’s direction, uncertainty but determination in his eyes as he spoke, his voice no more loud but merely in a hopeful whisper. “Please.”

@⭑ ˢ kim ryeowook Minji stopped for a moment once she saw all the broken shards of glass on the ground. Thankfully, none of the other students seemed to be hurt – just shocked. This was turning out to be much more difficult than she hoped. If the sketch truly had her mother’s powers than Minji would have to be careful and devise a proper plan in order to successfully destroy the sketch. “Let’s keep moving,” she places the pencil behind her ear and continues to follow the trail of destruction left behind.

As they begun to catch up to the sketch, Minji wondered if she should either wait out until the sketch disappeared on its own or stop it from terrorizing the school. Why did this particular sketch had to be so smart to the point it knew that erasing the original drawing would erase itself from existence? It scared Minji to know that her ability held much more danger and potential than she thought. A scream broke her trail of thought and immediately, the pair headed to where the sound had originated from. Yup, catching the creation now would be better than to let it loose any longer.

The students ducked for their lives as the sketch began to throw anything she could see. From pots to benches, she whirled them around with the held of the wind. “What the hell is that thing?” Minji heard one of them exclaimed as Minji drew a barrier around the students, shielding them from the creation’s attacks. “We need something to hold her down, just enough for me to get close to her,” she thinks out loud and looks at the teacher, “Have any ideas? Now would be the best time.”

@ˢ kim minji Ryeowook didn’t miss a beat in noticing Minji’s state of shock and despair when she saw the figure, and he couldn’t help but to feel pain and anguish for the girl, having a rough guess of who the person was. He had heard of the story from the teachers in the office, since they knew the woman well, better than he himself ever did; and he had read her profile when she entered the school, as it is mandatory for all teachers to know the basics of their students, no matter whether they would be having said students in their classes or not. He figured the woman before them, in all her sketched disfigurement, was Minji’s late mother.

Ryeowook wordlessly agreed with Minji’s declaration, but just as he was about to approach the blurry lady, he felt a gust of wind blowing towards them and almost throwing them off their feet. He managed to ground himself by dropping to the ground, creating less area for the wind to blow him away, noting the information Minji gave him as a wall appeared and blocked the strong wind. After a moment of staying silent like Minji asked him to, he watched her peek over the wall when there was no more wind.

Ryeowook nodded in agreement as he stood up, rounding the wall and breaking off into a run with Minji leading the way. Now he was worried for the students, and half anxious on whether the sketched woman would wreck havoc while she’s trying to escape from them, using all the mess she makes to slow them down. As they turned the corner, his suspicion was confirmed when he saw glass shards scattered on the ground, the windows lying bare.

“This is not good,” commented Ryeowook under his breath as they continued to follow the trail, the glass shards crunching under their shoes as they ran.

@⭑ ˢ kim ryeowook The moment Minji saw the figure in front of her, it was as if her whole world came crashing down. She couldn't believe her eyes - of all the things she could have drawn, why did it have to be this? Why her? Why did Minji dream of her every night? Why did she draw her own dead mother?

It was like some sort of cruel joke for Minji and all these feelings came attacking her at once. Her emotions wavered and it was clear with the way her sketchbook fell from her hands. The girl was usually calm and wasn't the type to show off her emotions to others but this moment broke her usual tranquil state. "It's a dream and a nightmare," she whispered to Mr Kim, "We... We have to destroy her." She tried her best to push away any personal feelings, this wasn't the person who she wished it was.

Minji picked up the book and flipped to an empty page. But before she could take another step forward, a strong gust of wind blew and nearly send her flying backwards. This was what she feared - the drawing took on the original powers of her mother. "Be careful, her power is aerokinesis," she warned the teacher and searched in her pocket for a pencil. In a few seconds, a wall appeared in front of them - blocking the wind. Minji asked Mr Kim to stay quiet for a while and waited for the wind to stop. Her head peeked out, "She's on the move. We should hurry before anyone else bumps into her.":

@ˢ kim minji The red alarms in Ryeowook’s mind went off at Minji’s words as he let her drag him towards where she believed the creature to be, which was down the corridor the cat had mentioned the monster to have went. There were two hallways going opposite directions at the end, and following what the cat had informed, he lightly pulled Minji towards the right hallway, exiting from the previous corridor. They only managed a few more steps further before the teacher stopped dead in his tracks, finally setting eyes on this mysterious monster that Minji had drawn for the first time, and his breath caught at the sight.

It was as the sunflower had told him, with its figure sketchy and blurred, formed but not fully, like a three-quarters to finality sketch. The creature was practically unrecognisable, but what Ryeowook can identify from the mass of mess was that it’s supposed to be a human, with only the bust and up being drawn. There was no need for a genius to figure out why it wasn’t in full body instead.

Ryeowook can scarcely tell that the human was supposed to be a female, with the long stands flowing down her neck before ending halfway, unfinished. She had an obvious bosom too, and her arms were slim, probably the only parts of the body that were actually complete, and in one of the hands, the disfigured woman held a piece of sketchbook paper. Ryeowook didn’t know what to think of the scene — the sketch was beautiful, but to see it coming to life like this, it’s very unsettling.

“Well,” started Ryeowook. “Seems like we found your mysterious creature from your nightmares.”

@⭑ ˢ kim ryeowook "I appreciate the helping hand, Mr Kim," Minji spoke as she started to walk a bit faster. Although her mind was calm, she was still a bit worried over whatever the creation of hers could be doing at this very second. "If anyone were to get hurt, this will all be my fault," she muttered under her breath as she continued to look around the area. Mr Kim stuck close to her as both of them scanned around to see if they could catch sight of whatever they were looking for. But how do you catch something you don't even know the look of?

Minji could feel some sort of pull, it was very light - if she was in any state of panic, she would have surely missed it. The pull was there but she couldn't quite place her finger where the direction was coming from. "What are you..." her voice trailed off as she heard Mr Kim speaking to the cat and in a matter of second he stood back up and pointed towards the corridor. Her eyes caught sight of something and by the way her breath hitched, she was certain it was her creation. "Quick, I think it knows we're on to it," she tugged on the teacher's arm and started to run.

@ˢ kim minji Ryeowook, worried for the safety of his student and also partially curious on the outcome of this situation, decided to follow Minji in hunting this monster. "Let me help you, in case anything were to happen." He wasn't sure how much of help he can be, but it was worth the try. He can use his powers to ask any plants or animals they may pass by about this creature, which is useful, but then again, how likely it is to find another plant or animal anytime soon? Still, better to follow, as he can't have Minji getting hurt in case she does manage to find the monster, whatever it may be.

There was silence as they walked along the corridor of the academy, only the sound of their footsteps resonating against the walls. Ryeowook noticed a cat laying on the ground some feet away, and this piqued his interest as he slowed his step when he neared the feline. He knelt before the cat and it turned to look at him, slit eyes staring at him warily. He asked, "Have you seen anything suspicious around here? Maybe something without a definite physical body, or just something that looks out of the ordinary?" The cat meowed, its paw before looking down the corridor, then turning back to Ryeowook. With a smile, he patted the cat's head and stood back up. "It went down this way and turned down the right corridor."

@⭑ ˢ kim ryeowook Minji still found Mr Kim's powers to be quite impressive and silently thanked that he was here when she needed him. The flowers could have picked up something and by the way Mr Kim spoke, nature had their eyes open everywhere. If the 'thing' was still blurred and sketchy, that would mean it wasn't in full form yet. That would be good, it would be easier to capture while in that state.... She hoped. The sooner she met with this creation of hers, the better.

As the teacher asked a question to the sunflower, Minji could only watch in silence before seeing the man stand up. He pointed to the exit and Minji nodded her head. "Thank you for the help, Mr Kim," she spoke before quickly heading towards the pointed direction. If she could only figure out what she had dreamed about, surely, she could at least have an idea on what the creature looked like. It could be whatever her wildest imagination had conjured up... and her mind was no easy place to venture. "Let's just hope no one's getting hurt..."

@ˢ kim minji (wheezes I just saw this now asdfjkl qq)

Ryeowook turned to the torn page and eyed it in confusion before looking back at Minji to hear her explanation. His mouth opened in understanding when she was done elaborating the situation to him, nodding knowingly and sympathetically. "That doesn't sound good. We should find whatever this creature you have created quickly, before it causes whatever mayhem it can produce." A sudden thought crossed his mind as he remembered something the sunflower had told him when he first arrived to the courtyard.

The sunflower was bowed when he arrived, the petals closed like a person covering their eyes, almost as if it had been afraid of something. The sunflower had told him everything it saw when he asked why it wasn't standing tall, and he could still feel the fear radiating from it as it spoke to him. Turning back to Minji, Ryeowook voiced out his thoughts. "I heard from Miss Sunflower here of a weird creature passing by the courtyard this afternoon. It didn't describe how it looked like since it was blurred and sketchy, possibly the effects of having been drawn while you were asleep. Either way, it was making weird noises, low growling sounds that reverberated all around the courtyard."

Ryeowook turned back to the sunflower beside him, whispering, "Did you see where it went?" The sunflower only stared back at it, not saying anything. To Ryeowook, however, it was all the answer he needed, since he nodded before turning back to Minji, standing up from the bench with his book in hand. "It said it went out the courtyard through the west exit." He pointed to the exit on his left. "Let us start checking from there."

@⭑ ˢ kim ryeowook "Just a bit of trouble, nothing to worry about... for now," Minji glanced at the flower for a second before her eyes turned their attention back to the teacher. "I just need a little help to... locate something." She showed him her empty sketchbook and pointed at the torn page. If she wanted his help, she should give the man a brief explanation on her current situation. Briefly, that is - she didn't want to scare him off.

"Seems like something I drew has some sort of intelligence and escaped with the original drawing," she closed her book and sighed, "I was wondering if you could ask around if they saw anything or anyone suspicious." That was as much as she could say. The girl had no clue what she made so she was at a dead end herself.

@ˢ kim minji Ryeowook had been taking a rest at the courtyard, sitting on a bench with a book in his lap while talking to the nearest plant. The beautiful sunflower stood proudly with its head up, petals opened wide in greeting, as if welcoming the teacher’s presence. For normal people, he would’ve came off like a mad man, talking to himself, when the fact is he’s conversing with the gorgeous flower beside him.

Ryeowook looked up when he heard his name being called, recognising the student almost instantly as Minji- he can recognise faces quite easily. The student seemed to be in distress, and he frowned in worry as he closed the book in his lap, placing it to one side. The sunflower that had been with him had stopped chatting too, although it wasn’t as if there would be any noticeable difference for other people.

“What is the matter, Minji?” Ryeowook asked as he looked up at the student, still seated on the bench. “You looked troubled. Did something happen?”
ˢ kim minji 5 years ago
@⭑ ˢ kim ryeowook “No, no, no, no,” Minji kept on chanting as she raced down the halls. She hasn’t felt this much panic going through her in a long time and to be honest, it was scaring her. The first thing she noticed when she woke up from her nap was the fact that she wasn’t laying down on her bed like she remembered instead she was at her study table, pencil in hand. Whatever she had drawn had sneaked out of her shared dorm and brought the piece of paper with it – she didn’t have any idea on what she created while she was sleeping. All she could remember from the pieces of her dream was that it wasn’t anything good to begin with. “I knew I shouldn’t have taken that nap,” she mutters as she starts to run, carrying an empty sketchbook with her. The sooner she caught this ‘creation’, the better it would be for everyone.

Something about her power was that she was able to slightly sense her ‘creations’ within a small radius. Her footsteps soon led her to the courtyard and she searched high and low for whatever that seemed out of place. She had no clue what it was capable of and her number one worry was the safety of the people inside the academy grounds. Worry – that emotion was clouding her thoughts right now. Therefore, Minji decided to take a breather. Panic was always no use to anyone and it certainly had no use for her right now.

Closing her eyes, she allowed herself to drown out all the unnecessary emotions and block them out of her mind. With a cleared head, she began to think her next action in capturing her ‘creation’. Looking around the courtyard, she scanned around to see if anyone would be useful to her for the task. Her eyes land on a familiar teacher and given her current surroundings, he would be the best choice. She wasted no time and walked right up to him.

“Mr Kim, I need a favor of you if you don’t mind.”

ᴴ cai xukun 5 years ago
@ᴴ lee jinsol Xukun had a bad habit of sneaking out of the academy. He knew he wasn’t supposed to but sometimes he needed to get away and lately, the whole hero training was a mood killer. He was already considered a gifted student from his previous training but he was still required to attend classes for ‘perfecting’ his power. One thing he kept hidden from most at the academy was that he had more than just cryokinetic abilities. He was a shapeshifter and at times like this, it was his only escape. They would definitely keep a closer eye if they knew so this was something he kept to himself. Currently, he was making his way back to the academy after going for a nature walk. He spent hours outside and hadn’t noticed how late it was until the sun had disappeared and the moon shined through the sky. This meant it was late enough for him to stay in his beloved wolf form without worrying about prying eyes. Xukun let out a heavy sigh as he walked the path to the gates and upon seeing a figure standing there he stopped and listen to what she was saying. His hearing was very good in this state and it wasn’t hard to gather they were locked out for the night. That’s what happened when you missed curfew. He stood close to the trees and weighed his options for a moment. He would be fine sleeping outside, yeah it was cold but he loved it. His Cryo powers gave him the benefits of enjoying cold weather but this girl wouldn’t make it without catching a cold—especially dressed the way she was. Normally he wouldn’t take it upon himself to worry about others but his body was moving before he could make up his mind. The ashy grey wolf approached the girl slowly, huffing a bit to catch her attention before getting too close and spooking her.

@⭑ ˢ byun baekhyun the fiery anger that grew inside of ten was something he was used to. it was something that he had dealt with throughout the years, something that he had never wanted but always had to fight with. he was used to the warmth that flooded his veins whenever he became angry, the same type of fire that would have sent people to the hospital. he had heard of spontaneous combustion, and he was sure that if he was ever angry enough that it could just as well be him that exploded. but he was never affected, never hurt by, the fire that he himself created. he had countless times where his own flames his body, his bare skin. it hardly did any sort of damage.

but as he sat before the teacher, ten felt none of that. nothing was familiar. he didn't feel the warmth in the pit of his stomach, he didn't feel the familiar sparks that would normally flicker from the tips of his fingers. he never really dealt with an empath before, and so it was new to him. this feeling, this sort of emptiness... ten didn't like it. it was unfamiliar, it was disgusting. as baekhyun spot, ten wished he could feel the anger. and yet he couldn't. he just listened, his face completely devoid of emotion, as if he was floundering for something other than anger.

"you can't do this. this isn't right." ten's fingers itched for some sort of release, and even without the anger in his system, he managed to warm his palms. it wasn't much, but he needed something familiar. he listened quietly to the teacher before him, wanting to interject, to argue, to fight against it. but he couldn't find it in him. he couldn't speak, not when he knew what the teacher was saying was right. "and if i do, so what? wouldn't the world be better if it didn't have me? trust me, i've been told that one before."

@ᴴ chittaphon leechaiyakul Patience was a virtue that Baekhyun was always grateful to have, especially in situations with hot headed students. His skin burned enough when people got mildly irritated, but this rage that was emitting off of Ten was more like being stuck in a burning house with no way out the exit. There was no physical threat, but his neurons continued to send waves of panic and red flags throughout his body, yes his expression still remained passive and pleasant. He had this all under control. Really, he just needed to snap his fingers and keep his focus. That's all there was to keeping his student under control, but that wasn't the point of the lesson. Students were supposed to be honing their own emotions so they could learn to control them without the negative side effects of their powers going ary.

Ten was a perfect example of why this class was necessary, why Baekhyun's power actually was important and valuable to society contrary to his family's beliefs. So he took his deep breath, steeled himself, and squatted a bit so he was more eye level with his student. Standing while someone was sitting felt too much like looming for the empath's that he just put himself on level with whoever he was talking to.

"I'm an empath, so basically I can control your emotions," he explained quietly, tapping a rhythm of three against his thigh, "Well, maybe you don't want to control your powers, but you /need/ to control that temper of yours. Not only is it detrimental to those around you, but I wouldn't be surprised if it started to take a toll on your own body." It wouldn't be the first person that Baekhyun witnessed burn to ash under their own temperament, their fear stealing the breath from his lungs and letting water fill the spaces so he was choking. Affected by absolutely nothing.
ᴴ chittaphon leechaiyakul [A] 5 years ago
@⭑ ˢ byun baekhyun if ten had any idea what would have been coming his way when he decided to go to the class in the first place, he never would have gone. he hated when people tried to tell him to get a hold on his emotions. call it some white girl stereotype, but if someone ever told him to "calm down," it only ever made the situation worse. and worse for ten meant someone's eyebrows were being singed off. you don't tell someone to calm down when they're angry.

but he was forced to go to class. he was forced to attend the stupid lessons, listen to the stupid lectures that he's heard for years. deep breaths, meditation, all that jazz - it never worked for him. of course it didn't. he was some sort of volatile human being that everyone avoided all the time. which of course did great for his emotional stability, if he even had any left.

ten was ready to get out of the hellhole that the class was when he suddenly felt something so foreign wash over him. it was like a down blanket, resting on his chest, easing the anger and frustration that was rising in his body. his eyes were wide when he turned to look to the teacher, who guided him back to his seat while speaking so calmly. something was off.

"what the hell did you do to me?" had his emotions not been repressed, ten's words would have had a certain venom to them. he sat in his chair, looking up to baekhyun with all of his gusto knocked out of him. calmness wasn't something he was used to, something he so rarely felt around here, and yet with the fire knocked out of his eyes and perhaps making him look a little dull, he was at peace. not of his own will, but he was. when he spoke, there was something soothing about his tone. he felt like a cat wrapped in a blanket, purring happily - and he hated it with a burning passion. "i never said i wanted to control my powers. that's what you've all been saying. all you crazy teachers."

@ᴴ chittaphon leechaiyakul The irritation fell off the student in waves, and Baekhyun honestly felt like he was drowning in the small courtyard of New Heroes Academy. No, not drowning. It was more like an angry swarm of wasps threatening to sting him. A sunburn raging over his skin, turning in a bright shade of pink that blistered when put under more heat. He wanted to desperately scratch at his skin to rid himself of the itching feeling. Irritation always felt like an allergic reaction to the young teacher. It was something that just simmered in the air, and it could be felt just anywhere. He always blinked in surprise when he looked at his skin to find it unblemished and smooth as it was before the emotion filtered past his defense system.

Blinking quickly to return his focus to his student, he exhaled softly, brows furrowing as he watched the scene unfold in front of him. It was just irritation that was washing over the empath, as it had begun to morph into pure anger with a hint of rage. It was enough to cause the teacher to take a step back as he in a breath, his own power going into autopilot as his survival instincts forcibly kicked in. Baekhyun normally had a better handle on his control, but he would be lying if he said he wasn't grateful for the sense of calm that washed over the entire courtyard.

It felt like the warmth and security of a weighted blanket as it settled around the pair, urging Ten to let go of his temper and relish in the calm of just feeling nothing but safety. Baekhyun could tell that the flares in temper led to an even more deadly flare in the student's power of pyrokinesis. If he could get his anger under control, he'd have more control over his powers in no time, and the empath was determined to get that to happen.

"Please take a seat again. We're going to work through this." He hummed as he reached over to guide the student back to the bench, expression taut with concern that he couldn't tell was really genuine. He had trouble discerning when he was actually feeling his own emotions when dealing with dire situations like this, but he had to at least look concerned in order to show that he /did/ care for Ten's well-being. "I promise this isn't 'bull' as you called it. If you want to control your powers better so you aren't destroying things everywhere you go then I suggest you start listening and opening your mind to new concepts."

@⭑ ˢ byun baekhyun ten wasn't exactly thrilled to be in the position he was in. of course, he expected it, especially with how everyone in charge had been looking at him. they all looked at him the same way, ever since he first joined the school. they were afraid, they were sick and tired, they were done. they never really wanted to deal with him, with his emotions. and that's what landed him in this class.

he at his teeth, staring straight ahead, arms crossed over his chest. he was dressed in dark clothes, something to fit the mood whenever he had to deal with something like this. it was just a matter of time until he was sent to "manage his emotions." he scoffed under his breath. if he was speaking out loud, there'd definitely be air quotes around the words. he'd never been able to handle his emotions, and nothing was ever going to change that.

it was one specific thing that the teacher had said that flared his anger. something about each person being able to control how they feel, how to calm down, and ten just knew that wasn't possible. he felt the heat rise in his body, the heat that he seemed to pull from the very depths of the world itself. it was the same heat that set trash bins on fire when he was bored, that singed his clothes and hair, that kept him running just a little bit warmer than most people in the world. he was sick of it, being told what to do about his emotions.

"i'm done with this bull." if it were a cartoon, there'd be steam coming out of his ears. already, his face was red enough to challenge that of a deep flame in a fireplace. he pushed himself up from the bench in the courtyard before he burned the spot where he sat, knowing he'd end up getting some sort of punishment for such a thing. little sparks, as if it were two rocks clinking together to start a fire, were bursting from the tips of his fingers that twitched. he wanted to be out of there, and there was no way he was going to be stopped. turning on his heel, he had every intention of leaving right then and there.
