@lalisa m。ᵈᵉˡᵃˡᶦᶜᵉᵒᵘˢ "oh? but i did, just not from the outside world, if you get what i mean. plus i usually avoid those scents that i'm not familiar of." his grin never faltering as he replied to her. junhui got to encounter many creatures who were able to kill faster than this girl could have done. a perfect example would be scp-173 or as the facility would call it as 'the sculpture', it was the first scp that he battled to the death with. at first, he was confused and stared at it for the longest time but once he blinked, the creature managed to break a limb off him, seems like it only attacks once the person they're in the room with, blinks. it was hard since he needed to blink until he managed to adapt himself through the attack, eyes spurting out out if no where and since the scp was now vulnerable, junhui killed it as he didn't want to devour it, it looked too disgusting to be actually deemed edible. there's also scp-096, codename 'the shy guy' that he was very terrified of, this creature managed to almost kill him and that's enough for him to be in fear of one. with every termination attempt that the foundation did on him, it seems like it only made junhui or as he was called as scp-682 much stronger, making more indestructible, how stupid can humans be? they created an unstoppable monstrous nightmare.

"who knows? might be curiosity, might be me being genuinely interested on your whole being." it was the latter, he's beyond interested because he hasn't really met someone who was similar to him in a particular way but then again, everyone he ever met were to be his dinner. "no particular reason, not like i expected it anyways." and it's true, all he was looking ffrom her for now were reactions that can guve out answers to him, though not detailed and fully understandabke yet still enough for him. but that doesn't mean that he doesn't want an actual answer, he does. but it's not the right moment and he wasn't sure when was the right moment.

the shapeshifter hummed as he noticed that her eye color changed and her next words made him let out a soft chortle. a faux apology was given as he watched her walk pass him, head and eyes following her movement until she reached the opening on the wall as a passageway to exit the institute. "take care then, darling." ge said as to both tease and actually bid her a goodbye. junhui wanted to meet her once again and he hopes that they will, who knows, magnolia springs isn't thay big of a town after all.

junhui mow turned his attention to the corpses still littering on the floor. 'what a mess' he thought before shifting into his original form. a body similar to a komodo dragon that's covered with green fur-like material, large body structure similar to a size comparison of a small vehicle, a reptilian skull as a head, emerald eyes that glows within the eye sockets and ribs exposed along with a chunk of flesh — this is him, this is scp-682 codename 'indestructible reptile' but he already threw that name away by the time he left the facility. he's more known as wen junhui now and that'll stay as his identity for as long as he lives.

the giant monstrous night began feasting on the corpses, he didn't really like it when his meal wasn't freshly killed but this will do, with this amount of bodies, he could last up up to a few weeks but that doesn't stop him from killing and devouring any human he crosses path with since his bloodthirst and hunger has no limit.

@ˢʰ junhui w。ˢᶜᵖ⁻⁶⁸² lalisa did not stand down even the slightest, nor did she take a step backwards even as junhui got much closer than he had been before. her irritation was worsening, and the fact that another layer of his skin prevented her from having her fun simply ticked her off even more. "you must have not seen too many people then," she retorted. obviously, while she loathed admitting such, she wasn't the strongest nor was she the only one who could do such a thing. back in magnolia springs, there were obviously beings that were definitely much more terrifying than she ever would be. well, if humans claimed she was already so horrifying, then they would most likely die at the sight of beings stronger than herself.

her eyes narrowed at the next words that fell from his lips, the sinister color of her irises darkening. 'what did they do for you to be like this?' too many unspeakable things, she wanted to say. too many things she didn't even want to say, want to remember, but her vengeful spirit couldn't let her forget about it. surprisingly, rather differently than how others would react to such a question that rang too many bells in her mind, her figure eased into a more relaxed pose, yet her expression remained unchanging. "oh? why do you ask? mere curiosity?" she asked.

"what made you think—" she closed her eyes, her vectors resting around her, "—that i would tell you, even if they did?" she continued on. "i just like killing them. there's no more to it than that."

she had never been a fan of talking about herself, even more so about the past that no one else had heard of. the only ones who'd known of her past were people directly involved, and all of those were either dead or still on the hunt for her. nevertheless, he must be pretty thick-skinned if he even thought that she was going to spill simply beccause he asked for it. she let out a sigh, her pupils turning back to their natural hazel color. "oh my, you ruined my appetite for more killings," she said and placed a hand on her waist, running the other through her locks.

"if you have nothing better to do, then please do excuse me. i'm not in the particular mood to entertain you and your questions," not that she would ever be, but he didn't need to know that. she turned her back on the other, and began heading toward the hole she had destroyed in the wall.

@lalisa m。ᵈᵉˡᵃˡᶦᶜᵉᵒᵘˢ it was as expected, he thought as he felt how hard his body clashed against the wall after being thrown off by an unknown force that he was ever so curious about. it didn't feel like telekinesis, he felt something physical within the attack, similar to hands he assumes. as junhui was about to regain himself there was little to no time to react towards her next move, he was glad that he thought of using his scalish armor as the sharp edges of each broken off wood tried to penetrate through his skin, failing to do so that made him let out a soft laughter before standing up and rubbing off the dust from his clothing.

"what can i say? it's kind of my charm." he said cooly with his emerald eyes darting on her demeanor as his smugness now reeks out of him. he was having fun especially when her cold and dark mien was now showing the slightest bit of emotions like irritation and frustation, it was faint but still there and it felt like an achievement for junhui. "asking the question tahts hould have been asked earlier, huh?" he starts walking towards her once again, getting much nearer than before.

"let's say that can be a reason too but i guess i can say that curiosity came along with it as well. it's the first time i encountered someone with such ability to kill this amount of people within seconds." his hand gestured the area that's was still littered with corpses, he could tell how long ago was it before they were killed and based on his sense if smell and instinct, it wasn't too long ago — just a few minutes right after his arrival inside the church. "i must say that i'm rather impressed by it." his grin grew wider if possible, all that he says towards her were true, no tricks and no deceptions unlike his usual tactics around his preys but as mentioned before, she was no prey to him, she was something more that he couldn't give a label yet but sooner or later on, he might figure it out eventually.

"so, tell me. what drove you to do this?" he asked, head dipping to the side as a gesture and emphasization of his own words. "no, let me try again. my bad." he chuckled to himself as he correvts out his question, "what did they do for you to be like this." a trigger was pulled as those words left his lips, he knew for the fact that no one was born to be a killer but rather, they were made into one and he's one of them, he didn't have a single thought of killing anyone not until the humans broke the bloodlust monster out from him and now he has this unjust mission to slaughter and devour every human being that he encounters, thinking that the world would be a better place without them around as what they only do is create and destroy, but they mostly destroy.

@ˢʰ junhui w。ˢᶜᵖ⁻⁶⁸² crimson smeared lalisa's face, though she remained unbothered. what took her by surprise is how nonchalant junhui seemed to be acting, depsite just having his limbs torn off. her eyes narrowed slightly, before they went wide with horror. she almost clicked her tongue in disapproval. so yet another one with incredible regenerative capabilities, huh? there were quite a lot of those in magnolia springs, but that didn't mean that they did very little to ease her annoyance. her own fists clenched by her sides as she glared at him, gritting her teeth in building frustration.

"is that so?" she uttered, eyes growing darker than before. she didn't care about how many attempts had been made on his life, nor how he managed to survive it. she refused to be inferior, to be weaker than anyone that stood in front of her. she was a queen, even if she didn't know whether her race continued to live or if it would start and end with her, but she hadn't gone so far from the institution only to be treated like this. her hands unclenched, relaxing before her lips curled up coyly. "don't underestimate me, bastard," she said, and in a milisecond, her vectors had touched his body and flung him to the wall. without letting him take a breath, her other phantoms hands stabbed a little too many broken wood and benches into his body — only for her to realize that none of it had gone through his flesh.

she clicked her tongue, her expression momentarily betraying her as her anger and irritation flashed. "you're just so persistent, aren't you?" she said. never had she met someone who'd annoyed her as much as he did in the past twenty years of her life, and it did nothing to calm her killing intent down. she couldn't keep using her vectors, she supposed, but what could her normal, human limbs do? this wasn't human. his current form told her that he was something else — human-made, she wondered? humans did have a knack of creating nightmares for themselves. she wouldn't be surprised.

"what do you want? i doubt you came here just to watch me slaughter humans, did you?" she asked, though she supposed that was a little too late of an attempt, as she'd already attacked him. however it didn't seem as if he wanted to kill her — she wasn't dumb, she was more than certain that he could have done it already if he'd wanted that. so what was this? why did he appear in front of her?

@lalisa m。ᵈᵉˡᵃˡᶦᶜᵉᵒᵘˢ "yes," he answered her briefly as he remained immobile on his spot, "well, i apologize th—" before junhui can even finished his sentence, his sixth sense told him a second too late about the oncoming attack. there was little time to move that his best option was to block his neck with the use of his arms. whatever hits him managed to slice off his limbs used to protect himself, the pain is there but it was faint as having 40 to 50 termination attempts from the foundation made him immune to it. blood splashed all over his clothing, painting him red with his own blood as a vast amount drips out from the chopped appendages. he looks down to see his severed arms still in the ripped sleeves of his jacket being soaked with blood on the floor and he sighs as he looks at the girl.

"what a shame, this is actually my favorite jacket and you just ruined it." he said in a nonchalant tone, he was much less concern about his limbs as they started regenerating in a fast rate. cells, tissues, muscles, blood vessels and skin now completed, his arms looking as if they weren't sliced off from him but the blood that stained his ripped sleeves and clothing were marks of it. "messy killer aren't you?" he smiled widely as if to but it seems like she wasn't listening to him at this point since he heard her muttering to herself. something tells him that she's not stopping anytime soon not until he's dead.

"you should know that no matter what you do to me, even if you successfully cut my head off earlier that i assume was your intention, i wouldn't die." he starts walking towards her again slowly, dodging whatever attack she throws at him. junhui stopped in front of her, not caring anymore if she decides to slice another limb or maybe his head off. "a total of 50 attempt were made, yet here i am. what makes you any more successful than the creatures i faced." he wanted to tick her off, see what can see do to him, the thought somehow excites him for the first time.

"i'm not the indestructible reptile for nothing." he grinned, using the title that the foundation gave to him as his emerald eyes glowed slightly and skin starts looking as if its scale, similar to a crocodile's to become his armor, an armor so tough that even the sharpest knife cannot penetrate through it, not even a bullet travelling 36 mph would puncture through it. he could have done this earlier but he was occupied with the curiosity he has for her to do so, only using it now since he wanted to be close to her, talk to her — gather up something about all of her, know the reason why she hates humans as he does that switched on the blood-lust killer in her.

@ˢʰ junhui w。ˢᶜᵖ⁻⁶⁸² lalisa's eyes widened in surprise when the stranger jumped out of the way, as though he'd sensed where her attacks were coming from. her hands easily backed away from the cement, hovered over her once again, before phantom fingers dug into the wooden benches and threw them at the man. "huh?" she breathed out, raising an eyebrow at his words. her throw was meant to kill, and she was certain that he could feel it — it wasn't as though she was being subtle with her killing intent in the first place — but she had an inkling that wouldn't be enough to kill him anyway.

however, she truly disliked the arrogance that was so evident in his face. she clicked her tongue.

"junhui, was it?" she tilted her head back, blinked numerous times as though trying to calm herself, and she turned back to him. the attempt on calming herself down failed, as two of her hands threw another bench over the lad. he didn't seem surprised by her appearance, no, why would he be? someone of his aura must have seen much more terrible things in their life, and surely, a girl with horns, all bloody because of the corpses around her shouldn't be much of a shock.

"i don't really appreciate it when people interrupt me," she said, not budging even as he walked closer to her. he wasn't scared, that was a first, and perhaps it unnerved her a little too much that she couldn't control it when her vectors went directly for his neck, her intent to cut his head off from his shoulders a little too strong that it could overwhelm anyone near them. "especially people like you, junhui."

she had never heard nor seen him before, but she supposed that wasn't truly important at the moment. he just had the misfortune of arriving here at the wrong time, right when she was just finishing off. he wasn't a human, no, but that didn't mean that he was safe from her killing intent. her instincts screamed in her mind, filling her ears. "must... kill..." she muttered to herself, eyes staying wide, face void of any sort of emotion. it didn't matter if he was human or not — all she wanted was to satisfy herself, and only that.

@lalisa m。ᵈᵉˡᵃˡᶦᶜᵉᵒᵘˢ his green reptilian eyes met with hers and judging by the look of them, they were lifeless and cold. it was familiar, a little too familiar for him, he remembered the day where he lets himself be consumed by anger and hatred, lets his body move on it's own. killing everyone on sight, tasting blood for the first time and afterwards, he calmed down from his rage and all he saw by the shattered mirror below him were eyes that seemed to be exactly how the girl's were looking like. eyes that don't have hesitation to kill. she reminded junhui of himself, he saw himself in her to which he didn't thought it was possible, he was one of a kind after all, but now? maybe not. he wasn't so sure anymore.

junhui snapped out from his thoughts once his sixth sense picked out not just one but six unseeable objects coming towards him, successfully dodging them by moving out of the way. the ground seems to have burst out of no where and once the dust fog was gone and clear, he's seeing craters on the stoned ground as if something was thrown with a great velocity onto it, like a meteor perhaps.

'interesting...' he thought as his gaze and attention went back to the girl. she was letting his interest and curiosity grow by the minute without her knowing. "don't you think it's rude to attack without introducing yourself first?" junhui says as he walked towards her direction again, hands buried deep in the pockets of his jacket. halting once he was approximately three meters away from her. "who am i?" he repeats, head tilted to the side as a smirk came into its being on his countenance. "i go by junhui, but you can call me as jun instead if you want." he was normally this talkative but usually it was for deception to his preys unlike right now that seemed to be more... genuine.

"i knew that, i'm one of the reasons why it became dangerous anyways." he eyes her carefully, looking from top to bottom and back to top. what is she? she possesses horns but she can't be a demon, she doesn't smell like the ones he encountered before. "and i guess you too, as well." he added afterwards.

@ˢʰ junhui w。ˢᶜᵖ⁻⁶⁸² lalisa felt the stranger's presence before she heard his footsteps. footsteps she didn't recognize, which meant that this man was yet another one she'd have to meet. the scent wasn't familiar, not even like the humans she'd killed so far, so this was most likely someone who lived at magnolia springs — unless beings from other places simply stumbled upon her out of curiosity, or maybe the blood attracted them, she didn't know; her mind was a mess, and she found it hard to think straight. she let go of her neck, and her hands fell by her side. she slowly turned to look behind her, her hair revealing her face while a few locks were stuck by her lashes and nose.

there stood the stranger she had never seen in her life. she barely recognized the scent of blood on his body, strong against her nostrils, but even stronger as it blended with the crimson pooling under her feet. perhaps she should have been terrified, afraid of the unknown, because there simply was no one who wouldn't tremble at the sight of her. her horns were smeared with blood as well, and it dripped down her skin.

but her first instinct was to attack the stranger. the air around her vibrated violently, before her phantom hands flew toward the male. six hands came after his figure, while the others remained at rest around her. her eyes narrowed at him, anger lost, but her pupils were cold and merciless against the figure of a stranger. to her, this wasn't even another being. to her, this was simply something she had to kill, something she had to eliminate for the sake of satisfying her own desires.

"who are you?" she asked, voice hoarse. "don't you know that it's dangerous outside at night recently?" she continued. how could he walk toward her without fear? why didn't he even seem afraid at all? she didn't know whether this was stupidity or bravery — or perhaps a mix of both, or maybe something else altogether. he didn't seem human — she was quite certain he wasn't human — so perhaps this was confidence. but alas, this confidence would be his downfall.

@lalisa m。ᵈᵉˡᵃˡᶦᶜᵉᵒᵘˢ a tongue swiped across one of the corners of his mouth, off the bits of blood from his last kill. it's been a week or two ever since junhui had humans as his food, the town he was currently living in had strict rules when it comes to murder, the consequences of their action is the equivalent of it and despite being indestructible as the foundation had called him to be, the shapeshifter has no means in getting into trouble, the town wasn't just filled with humans but as well as other humanoid creatures that junhui was sure they weren't humans by their scent alone and in addition, magnolia springs was his only hiding place for the meantime, that's why whenever his hunger or bloodlust hits him, he goes out of town just to fulfill his needs.

like a predator in the wild, junhui had learned techniques to lure his preys towards him. he used up his physique to his advantage, attracting humans who got interested in him. females, males or any other gender humans had come up with, it doesn't matter to him, as long as he get to kill and eat.

that was enough for him.

as he walks down the path to which it lead to a structure that he assumes to be a church, an social institute to where humans gets to praise and worship their god that was by the heavens above but junhui was ignorant of their existence, he doesn't believe in them as well. why was he heading towards that way? simple, he took in a scent of blood as well as picked up screams from a distance while he was by an alleyway and all of it was coming from the direction to where the church was.

he was curious on what was going on, was it murder? it surely is and he was wondering on who or what could be doing it since he got a scent that smelt like a human but also isn't, it was both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time that he had to see who was behind the killings.

junhui walked through the giant wooden doors of the church that was widely open and he was me with a pile of corpses lying on the floor, appendages all over the place, walls and floor painted with crimson blood before his eyes fell on a figure that was standing near one of the religious statues of the institute. head hang low and he wondered what was going through her mind.

"my, my... what a mess you made." he finally spoke, not caring if he startled her or not as he made his way towards her, getting closer and closer, passing by the dead bodies below him. it was truly a mess since whenever he kills, he likes it to be as clean as possible to avoid detection, but then again he eats his victims wholely in his reptilian form.

for the first time, junhui was interested and amused on someone.

what was her reason for her to kill these people? was it hatred as well? he hopes so, he had always wanted to meet someone with the same passion and mindset as him.

he wants to have someone to destroy mankind along with him.

will it be her? he hopes so.

@ˢʰ junhui w。ˢᶜᵖ⁻⁶⁸² lalisa's breaths were heavy and quick, her shoulders rapidly moving up and down as she blinked repeatedly. crimson painted her skin, tainted her golden locks with a beautiful shade of blood. her eyes were wide, and her pupils trembled with tension. her irises were a bright purple, glowed brightly under the shadows of the tall church that stood over head. the air around her buzzed with movements, quick vibrations in the atmosphere due to the hands that were becoming slowly visible around her.

hands held onto the limbs of the humans that fell by her foot, splattering blood over the cool, marble floor of the supposedly holy building. how had this happened? she wasn't exactly sure. one moment she was walking around outside magnolia springs, just out of yeeun's radar, whom she heard had become the guardian of the town, and the next, her instincts took over and here she was, standing above the corpses of unfortunate humans that happened to stumble upon her while she lost herself to her instincts.

'kill the humans,' a voice would say at the back of her mind. 'kill the humans — they're a nuisance on earth.'

she threw her head back, and she threw the limbs she was holding around. the voices didn't really have any effect on her per se — it was rather easy for her to give in to her instincts, when all she wanted was to do the same thing. it would be easy, honestly, for her to wreck havoc on the world, bring the humans to their knees in front of her. wouldn't that be so satisfying? but she didn't know if that would be enough — if endlessly killing humans would ever come to satisfy her in the end.

'kill them,' the voice said again. 'kill them all, little lucy.'

her own hands crawled up to her chest, up to her neck, and her fingers wrapped around her thin neck. she needed more—more than what the humans could offer. the screams were music to her ears, but until when would this continue before it became an annoyance to her mind? she didn't know, wasn't sure she even wanted to know because if that happened, then what was she supposed to do?

she hung her head low, hair becoming curtains which hid her face. she stood in front of the altar, and she could feel the statue's eyes on her figure. it seemed to know of all the deaths she'd caused, of the pleasure she'd taken from such killings, but she wondered if it knew of what the humans did to her, of how cruel these mongrels could get to those who were different. she wondered if it would save those who were different, or if she was simply going to be left, fallen from grace.

well.

she was never an angel in the first place.
