                     ┆ZOMBIE or THE INFECTED:
Refers to most humans that have succumbed to the t-Virus (either through contaminated water supply or infected bites and scratches from a virus carrier). The researchers at the Umbrella Corporation called them "zombies" in reference to the Haitian Folklore zombies, which are said to be recently dead bodies reanimated by necromancers for use as slave labor. Since some of the traits of zombies are the decomposed skin and the lack of pulse, they are often mistaken for reanimated corpses. The main point is aiming the head.

                     ┆IVY:
Ivy Zombies were an irregular mutation produced by Plant 43 via infecting humans with its seedlings. Ivy's are only encountered in NEST, and are extremely dangerous due to their extremely quick movements. If grabbed by an Ivy, you must use a defensive item to escape, otherwise the Ivy will instantly kill you by crushing your skull in their giant mouth and biting your face off. The Ivy have yellowish orange bulbs that can be shot to stop them cold in their tracks and stagger them for sometime allowing a quick escape. Destroying all the bulbs (3 or 4 per Ivy) will result in the Ivy being knocked out, but the bulbs will regrow over time and the Ivy will get back up and resume it's assault minutes later. An Ivy can be permanently destroyed if ignited with flame rounds or the flamethrower.

                     ┆ER:
ers are mutant humans that result from the V-ACT process, a trait in certain T-Virus strains which forces a second set of mutations among severely injured Zombies. ers are noted for their large, exposed brains, lack of skin and eyes, extreme sensitivity to sound and their eponymous tongues. They should not be confused with Crimson Heads, mutants which are the result of a separate T-Virus strain undergoing this process.

                     ┆ZOMBIE DOG:
Zombie Dog is a term referring to domesticated canines infected with the T-Virus through its secondary method, namely the ingestion of infected food or organisms. It should be noted that they are separate from the Cerberuses; the latter was created specifically as a Bio Organic Weapon, while zombie dogs are viewed and treated as unintended side-effects of T-Virus dispersal and are thus classified as irregular mutants. The zombie dogs retain much of their former agility, with a noticeable increase in durability and aggression. In most cases, potential prey should listen for the sound of padding paws as a clue to their presence, with a growling warning that it has become aware of the player and is preparing to attack.

                     ┆CERBERUS:
They should not be confused with "zombie dogs", which encompasses all dog breeds infected with any t-Virus strain in the secondary form. Pronounced as the Greek word, "Kerberos", this creature was named after the mythological guardian of Hades, a gigantic dog with three heads and a collar made of venomous snakes. Though they suffered skin deterioration, their muscles were left largely intact, and this and their increased strength and aggression made them more dangerous.

                    ┆ADJULE:
Adjule are a feral dog and African wild dog infected. They can split their heads open, revealing a long ranged parasite and huge, 'dagger' teeth inside their necks.

                    ┆TYRANT:
Consequently, the T-103 models were used as bodyguards; assassins sent to hunt specific individuals; Umbrella agents sent to acquire important objects, and hard-muscle for tackling armed opposition. The reason that the development code was "103" rather than "003" is likely a point to separate it from its predecessors, marking it as the true mass-produced Tyrant it was, rather than another prototype. Also known as Mr. X, they are not easy to be dragged down and only terminated if you hit him with a truck, or a rocket launcher. Avoid it as much as possible.

                    ┆G1
In G's second form, his body becomes even larger, more twisted and inhuman: His skin takes on a black hue, while the vestigial hands begin to grow into a second pair arms and a second tumor-like eye appears on his back. In this form, only shreds of the lab coat hang from his twisted body, as the remnants of Birkin's humanity are cast aside, while the ruined trousers now only reach the knees. Perhaps most dramatic of the changes is that his original head is forced down into the left side of his chest, while a second developing cranium emerges in its place. This form of G instead attacks with the long bony claws that grow out of his massive right arm.
