@y. minnie Luhan ruffled his hair as he took another look around, indeed there weren't any seats left around. He looked at the younger and saw that she was holding onto notes. She probably won't be too distracting, he convinced himself and finally nodded to her request. He then wore back his headphones and took out his phone that was lodged in his pocket. As he was scrolling through his social media, he stole glances at the other who was sitting opposite him.
y. minnie 4 years ago
@l. han She was a little taken a back, knowing well she had disturbed his peace. In a hushed tone she spoke, “Professor Luhan right?..I was hoping if I could sit on one of your seats? All the groups and individuals are taken, you’re the only one with available seats.” She was hesitant but there was no other choice for her, the paper had to be revised so she could get it out of her system. “I’ll be super quiet, you won’t even know I’m here.” Minnie gave him a soft, reassuring smile. To her credit, she’d work unnoticed. Even in the lab, the staff wouldn’t even remember she’d be there until they came to close up to which she has taken the liberty of doing herself to make up for using the facilities so late. Pulling herself back to reality, she looked at the music professor hopeful that he would let sit at his table.

@c. tzuyu Yukhei's usual facade is needlessly apparent; His conscience shifted out of character for a moment, a lapse in his ways to usually heed to the cautions of impending squabbles. But his cadence seemingly rose higher than his head, and promptly grazed the fibers of realization and content that befell the both of them thereafter. The intangible strings that wound favorably around his joints and extremities enticed him to congregate back over to his area of study, the medium in which he could again embrace his own quiet. Nevertheless, a small wince of guilt loitered around him and in the air in which the two took sizable exhales. That air became increasingly heavy not just on the shoulders, but on the conscience itself, seeking to be relieved through discourse of any sort. The subsequent fleeting looks that diced her countenance into finer parts grew a disquiet in the male's disposition. He replies just shortly afterward, "Thanks. I appreciate it. Sorry if I had interrupted you guys, though." Yukhei's inflection matched his newly poised demeanor, irises and the pads of his fingertips no longer disheveled in unease. He was never one to begin even a pittance of confrontation. His hands took each into their own, embracing each other as his strides carried his weight back over to his seat.

@y. minnie Luhan felt a light tap on his shoulder, his forehead formed creases as he opened his eyes, his peace clearly disrupted. Greeted by the bright light above, and a familiar yet foreign face. He recalled seeing the girl at a certain corridor and conversing with her for just a few moments before he rushed off as usual. He released his hands that were tightly tugged and ripped off his headphones. Unsure if he was disturbing or taking up someone else's seat, he looked around but he realized that it was only the two at his table. He then focused his attention back on the girl with his brows knitted. "Y-yes?" His voice was husky and lower than usual.

@w. yukhei The defence that rears out of her stature falters as Yukhei's voice dawdles out of his lips, barely audible through the inquietude that has possessed the room in the form of a sibilant noise. As the figure of her body visibly retracts from the tension that has slithered up her spine, Tzuyu's hand rises up in a motion meant to rub her face as a fluster protrudes into her cheekbones once the dawning realization breeds into her consciousness. "Oh," a dumbfounded reply. Her friends' voices have petered down into whispers as their eyes rivet from one person to the other, entranced of what might transpire between the interaction of the two. The fiery chassis of her confidence gradually singes into ashes as the last bits of the sudden confrontation leave her to be in possession of a more well-meaning disposition exclusive of her brusque nature. Albeit embarrassment has sired into the obsidian fluttering of her eyelashes, her eyes ascend in an attempt to meet his as an apology subjects into an existence between the air of the involved parties. "Oh okay, I am going to quiet down. Sorry," she acquiesces.
y. minnie 4 years ago
@l. han Her paper was almost done, that much she knew but after the numerous comments of one professor who she swears hates her; another revision yet again and a big one at that. Her adviser wasn’t around, some help that is. She’s on her own yet again as reality dawned on her. Minnie dragged her feet over to the library and hoped there would be a table for her. It was either this or be unproductive at her flat.

After browsing the science aisles for the books she needed and might need, she carefully carried them and set her path on tables at the back. It wasn’t her lucky day at all, none of the table were vacant, even the individuals. Trudging on, ‘communal seating would be worth a shot’ she thought to herself. She smiled and found one of the music professors sitting comfortably alone at one of the bigger tables. With light footsteps, she sauntered over and gave him a light tap on the shoulder. She had no choice anymore, besides she wasn’t his student.

@c. tzuyu Solemn silence acts as the intangible dichotomy between the Yukhei and the young female, the space between them suddenly is diluted into a haze of ambiguous aggression and enticed voices. Soon, the glint in the woman's irises conformed to the silhouette of his as her eyebrows furrowed inward, burning a concentrated crevice into the man's pupils. Her countenance was defensive, posture intact to not regard him in the slightest as she sat idle in the chair. The body language dictated the ambiance that surrounded them; Dust particles abided by the whip of the interior breezes and lowly mechanical hums, being the only semblance of time moving, albeit at its most methodical pace. The silence killed his conscience; Perhaps Yukhei let the incorporeal pause between her response and his impending speech stretch too widely, to occupy the space between them. His lips are the flesh-colored curtains for syllables, "I just said..." though the catch in his hallowed throat supersedes his sensibilities, "...maybe you can be just a little bit... more quiet... I could hear you and I'm just trying to do my work." His confidence tapers back into some coiled apparatus through the gap in his throat thereafter. The line that formed from his newly pursed lips perhaps served as the partition between his personal bubble and hers, thinning out dangerously as it erodes in tandem to the passage of time.

@y. minnie Luhan was greeted by a gust of cold air as he stepped into his quiet sanction. Finally feeling relieved after being hounded by student after student. He finds his seat at the end of the library empty, the corner of his lips tugged as he felt contented. He plops his bag onto the table and sat down heavily on the wooden chair. After a short tug of war, he yanked out a medium-sized box, ped it, revealing his Sennheiser headphones. He dawned them on and took out his phone, looking for a specific playlist to calm his mind - 'Acoustic Favorites'. Luhan leaned back and got comfortable in the chair as he crossed his arms and closed his eyes.

@w. yukhei Tzuyu's movements lie with vigor as she finds herself reenacting the events of her meeting with her music professor, Luhan. Her voice rises up a notch, oscillating in the silence seeping into the crevices of books and the mechanical whir of the aircondition as dust motes lay awash in the slant of a golden halo of sunlight. The motions of her hands fly about in the expanse of her own bubble as her voice sings out in a frill, high-pitched manner her friends find to be too much. Her eyes heed a habit of flitting around as she looks for someone who might know him, trying to tamper down the noise of her voice but failing to do so. Her body lies bewitched under the rush of blood frolicking by the fringes of her consciousness as the flash of Luhan's eyes stray past her. However, her line of thought volumes into a halt when a man of her age approaches them in a menacing manner of posture and stance as he tells them to be quiet. A sudden disbelief protrudes in the furrowing of her brows, lying slack as she looks at him with eyes slanting into thin lines. "Excuse me?" her words fall out of her in a defensive manner; she knows the tone of her voice hasn't been so loud and robust as for him to catch her and her friends' attention.

@c. tzuyu yukhei's strides carry him in benevolence as he finds a seat that overlooks the outside. modest strips of sunlight coat the surface of the table; the young male chooses to do his allotted work in solemn solitude. the shape of the tables made it easy for him to rest his forearms on the lip, elbows intermittently propping up to allow his head to rest on his palm. mathematics was tedious for him to allow himself time for; he had a habit of spinning his mechanical pencil between his index and middle finger just to occupy the empty space in his conscience that failed to see reason with continuing. but those droughts came sparingly and were few and far between. his backpack was strapped behind his chair and he sat with his leg crossed over the other, the side of his ankle resting just above his kneecap. the ambiance spoke volumes of silence. the only voices that dictating the environment were generous enough to take turns, to heed to the quaint nature of the atmosphere. the people conformed to the silence and played around with its validity without breaking such quiet. but what peered in his peripheral vision lay a woman, seemingly another student, who made noise that laxly etched an intangible fingerprint into the otherwise unsullied quiet. the young woman couldn't have been sitting more than a table's width away, and the fussy noises that didn't bode well with the whirl of his ear stopped the twirl of his pencil. she appeared to be with her peers; mannerisms were alike but one of their voices stood out grandly among the rest. yukhei's stature straightened to its fullest as he donned a calm disposition to approach the group with, tapping the table's surface to rally the attention of them all, "hi, sorry. but could you please be a bit quieter. i'm trying to do my work."
w. yukhei 4 years ago
@h. momo he lets his chair shift over in her direction, letting it pivot a bit. though her calls to her forgetfulness were apparent, yukhei took every semblance of reassurance to relieve her. his head shakes in tandem to his syllables, "no, no, don't sweat it," he tapered off his words with a modest chuckle, "i forget things as well. it's no issue." he held the edges of the book for her as it was splayed open across the table; his knees would knock together intermittently, just to occupy his conscience with movement. his gaze peered upward as the female mentions taking a trip out there, being more acquainted with travel. through hushed tiers, he nods at the woman, staining his countenance in the entice of a grin. yukhei was never one to be talkative to others, especially for those he had little encounters with prior. but he aspires to be more sociable and receptive to change come this year, at least. the young man never knew where to begin, "sure! that sounds like a lot of fun actually. i've always wanted to get myself out there."

yukhei's line of sight hovered over the glossed papers, small graphics and characters imprinted on his irises as he skimmed over them. his finger drew ambiguous circles over each tentative square of the page, trying to muster up any sense of cadence, "proverbs... proverbs... ah, i see..." his teeth dug into the flesh of his lower lip slightly, index finger gently rubbing against his brims in perpetual thought. another lax page turn thereafter, and he was welcomed by the remnants of his train of thought, "oh right! how about we go over some honorifics and consonant sounds?”
h. momo 4 years ago
@w. yukhei the faint voices and pages being flipped accompanied the silence between them. a spine of the book rubbed against the table over enough to where she could see. she was very thankful, he probably irritated that she forgot her textbook because they were supposed to be studying. she averts her gaze at him, giving him a small simper. “thank you, i’m super sorry... i didn’t mean for this to happen — i’m forgetful,” she emits a sigh. usually this is the point where people create an excuse to leave her, but he was kind enough to share his own. she lightly shakes her head to forget about the absence of her textbook, so that she doesn’t make this situation worst, or make it very dramatic.

momo really didn’t want him to feel obligated to gift her something, it was just a small greetings gift from her. being his friend at least would be enough for her. “maybe someday you and i can visit japan together, it’s really fun!” she cheered on, trying her best to change the topic a bit. it felt like she did most of the talking, she wanted to hear about his experiences and get to know him better. yet, she didn’t want to pressure him, they just met.

she glances down at the textbook, then back at him. “the proverbs?” her brows perked, she made contact with his eyes, seeing her reflection which seemed cool for a second before noticing it was weird. “was there anything you wanted to study?” her orbs shifts to the textbook, hoping that he didn’t notice her staring him down.
k. soonyoung 4 years ago
@k. dongyoung [] OH IM SORRY NEWIHERF okay i’ll take note of that. i just made it that soonyoung wanted himself to be noticed or something like that.

It was that important hour for soonyoung, where he doesn’t pay attention to his textbook. not everything he was studying right now was his interest and would explain why he wasn’t a fan of it. it’s just normal that he doesn’t pay attention to it on his free time but he has better things to think of like what happens in the next volume of boku no hero acadamia? or if the librarian gets his note? and both are important to him. it worries him that he could be one of those people who just throw things like that in the trash and pretend like it didn’t just happen, he slouches at the thought as he looks over to the desk, watching him flip through his journal. did he read it? or did he care? why did he care so much about making a good impression on him when the thing he did at the library was wrong. most of the staff was sickening and the librarian happens to be better than most and if not all. he sees him looking around. maybe he was looking for him. soonyoung puts down the book and writes on his notebook as he watched doyoung at the side of his eye. he was just scribbling the doodle he drew on note and if he passes by his table, he’d know that it was him who gave the note. he whispers his name over and over as he started playing with his pen. the clicks of his pen start annoying him but got him realizing that maybe if he made some noise at the most silent place in the campus, he’d get his attention. soonyoung starts humming to the tune of ‘build me up buttercup’ loudly.

@k. soonyoung Doyoung's really not sure who would want to wish him a good day, nor does he really know who Soonyoung is. They seem nice, and as he takes a sip from his morning coffee he decides to open his journal, flipping to the section that he does always manage to remember - "People I Should Know." Of course, at the top of his list are childhood friends and family members, but further beyond that are the people he's met after the accident, and as he flips through the pages he finds the name "Soonyoung" near the end. He has a little note next to the name in his own handwriting - it reads: student, likes manga, kind, greeted me on my first day here. Looking up again Doyoung tries to find such a person, even down to the little doodle on the note that appears to have pink hair. Ah, kids these days - he finds three such heads with their noses buried in books, all with their hair dyed various shades of pink. Flattening the welcome message into his journal, on a page with several others, among a series of pages with many more, Doyoung decides that he'll try and figure out who it is while he's making his morning rounds with the return cart, which, oh, there it is now. "Thank you." he says to the girl pushing it (obviously a student worker), no doubt another name he's supposed to know. When she leaves he stands up then, taking his coffee with him and starting with the historical fiction section. All the while Doyoung's eyes and the flash of his somewhat unusual black and blue hair peek out from behind the shelves to glance at the tables. Where is this Soonyoung?

@h. momo yukhei continues to flip through each page. the glossed finish squelching each time ongoing friction was forced upon each page through his index finger and thumb. every now and then, he'd get hung up on a page that was rife with info graphics or small boxes which further explained a concept. the characters embedded themselves into his dark irises, enticed to be digested and learned. his garners another small bit of laughter, eyes still fixated his textbook, "i'll probably find something to give you, anyway," he insists upon this notion.

his ears tune into momo's recollection of her mother and home country. so much of what was said seemed to be laced in perpetual longing and a yearning to reconvene with family. yukhei let his line of sight regard the buoyancy of her hopeful words, engaging in the same level of attention she had given him. family was a spotty topic for him to divulge too much about, especially to someone he had just formally met. but it neither impedes nor discourages him from encouraging others to seek the validity of their own familial bonds, tied together by an intangible string to be bounded seemingly forever. his visible response takes the form of a careful nod as the female talked of her trip to japan, "well, take a lot of pictures. i've always wanted to see how it's like out there."

yukhei is then receptive of the mannerisms of the other, gaze scornfully dropping down to the in an abrupt moment. but without any semblance of hesitation, the spine of the book hums along the table as he drags it over to toward momo, within her visible gaze, "don't be embarrassed. things like that tend to happen." though discernibly bothered by the absence of her textbook, he did his best to get her out of the slump, turning his chair toward her in order to allow her inclusion, "anything in particular you want to study?"
h. momo 4 years ago
@w. yukhei “no problem!” her eyes creases into little smiles that paired with her tiers. black tinted brows of hers arching for the sky, her lips stretches into a grin. she stared at him in awe, feeling a spark inside. flinching unconsciously, she blinks out of it, “no need, yukhei.” she frantically waves her palms at him, to show that she really didn’t need anything from him. as the lad examines the gifted keychain modeled after a shiba inu, momo noticed his textbook already out which hit her in her forgetful head.

momo was too pumped up to meet him and spent most of her time scavenging through her room for the keychain. forgetting to pack up her textbook that was still on her desk before she left her cluttered bedroom, which she needs to clean this weekend. suppressing her sigh that was about to escape through her pearly teeth, out her lips. her grin faltering as she keeps thinking about her textbook not being with her. she trails her hand to the front locks near her forehead, her digits brushes through her black locks utterly white where the bright rays fell, creating a great contrast.

she averted her attention to him again, viewing his newly gift linked to his keys. glad that it suited well with his keys, she mirrored his contoured tiers; reassured that he enjoyed her small gift. she nods a few times, “i definitely will. i really missed my mom after leaving japan. now that i’ve saved enough money, i can finally fly out to her.” she pushes back her black strands that were too close to her features behind her ears, leaning towards his way. “this is embarrassing to ask, but may i look over your textbook? i... i forgot mine at home...” she brings her gaze down at the surface of the table, enfolding her lips as her cheeks flushed. great, this wasn’t what she had planned for a good first impression to the lad.
l. hayi 4 years ago
@n. yuta hayi clears a little too loudly the moment her eyes caught the sight of yuta spinning in the cushioned seat. it wasn't her intention to sound rude, did feel a little scratchy, but it did the job of grabbing his attention. as he closes the distance between the two, the rattling of the old chair wheels drags for a second. it makes her wince slightly and think, the library sure needs an upgrade here and there. "we will do that after." she answers flatly and takes her mask off, inhaling a deep breath of the cold, stale air. she was getting through this interview just so she can review and edit before sending it in, not expecting any further chitchat. the other article mentioned she didn't care as much about, only wanting to write about it because the entire fiasco had been set off by odd circumstances. circumstances that were far beyond her own imagination.

her staggered breaths quieten. it is time. "why did you join the newspaper club?" she begins, fingers on standby over the freshly cleaned keys while her hooded eyes lift to keep steady eye contact. she finds it strange how bright the other appears, grinning from ear to ear despite this being an informal interview with no entertainment value. in her opinion at least. then again, yuta had behaved similarly since their first meeting, so maybe it was out of place for her to place a judgement of him acting weirdly.

@h. hyunjin from her peripheral vision, she could see someone approaching her. she diverts her attention to it, it was the youngster, hyunjin. her lips paint a soft delicate simper, “hi hyunjin. thank you for meeting with me and agreeing to this,” she pulls out her notebook in front and a pencil from her back pocket. “aaa no, just a few questions and we’ll be done. are you ready?” she grasp onto her pencil, flipping her small notebook to a blank page and placing the lead onto the paper before her orbs reconnect back at hyunjin.

@h. momo while scrolling carelessly through his phone, hyunjin somehow manages to arrive at the library without bumping into anything. he peers into the vast corridor, attempting to find the other between the common center and rows of bookshelves. spotting momo across the room, he approaches the table and settles beside her. "hey, momo," he greets, breaking into a polite grin before tucking his phone into his back pocket, "is this a formal interview?"

k. soonyoung 4 years ago
@k. dongyoung The library had some important reasons for Soonyoung to visit it. One being the fact that it’s the most silent room in school, which makes it easier to read. And two, where else would he read his manga? it just has to be in the library with a textbook as a disguise. Lastly, the librarian’s reactions to his little notes. Theres was always something about him that made Soonyoung feel like he made the library’s atmosphere more welcoming. That could be the reason to why he read his japanese comic books there instead of anywhere else around the campus. He felt like making his day in some way after he knew about him having amnesia. Soonyoung was always the kid who acknowledges everyone’s hard work. He wanted to at least let the librarian know that someone around this school wants him to remember him. In other words, Soonyoung wanted the librarian to know that he acknowledges everything he does for the school. He stuck a pink sticky note onto his keyboard with the words “Good morning! it’s me Soonyoung! have a wonderful day!” scribbled across it with a doodle of himself. He took a seat near his desk and took out his textbook to pretend like he had a purpose to be there. Soonyoung wasn't even sure if the doodle is of any help but he's sure that even if it would be anonymous he'd appreciate it

[] IT'S GOOD and i don't really care about length tbh so don't worry it was okay!

@k. soonyoung Like every morning Doyoung had woken up, gone through his daily routine of checking every note in his bedroom, ordered a single coffee from the school's cafeteria and made his way to the library on foot. The server at the cafeteria had told him they "hoped he would have a better day than yesterday" which means he must have been less than happy 24 hours ago. Whatever the reason it should be in his journal somewhere, but he hasn't read that yet. He planned on going over it in the wee hours just before the library started to fill up, sipping on his coffee. Once he reached his desk he placed the book and his cup on top of it, slinging his messenger bag over the chair and ing his suit jacket before sitting down. Only then did he notice the note in the center of his keyboard, a different color from all the other yellow ones that decorated his work area. Eyebrows drawn together in a little bit of confusion Doyoung carefully picked the note up to read it, finding it signed with an unfamiliar name - "Soonyoung."

@l. hayi “noted.”

yuta didn’t mean to feel patronizing in any way, but something about hayi—whether it was her general demeanor or how cold she came off to others—made him genuinely want to get to know her better. he pounced on the chance when he could, taking up her offer for an interview as both a chance to know her. (and maybe, just MAYBE, he had decided to do this to bring more members into the art club he just became president of, but that wasn’t priority.)

round and round, he swiveled in his chair, flicking up and down twitter idly. as hayi walked in, his spinning slowed and yuta greets her with a big grin. “it’s my pleasure, and uh- actually,” yuta pauses as he scoots closer to the table, leaning in, “either before or after this— can we talk about the piece you’re gonna write about... apartment a3 101?” yuta didn’t mean it to express it as gravely as he did, but he did have some concerns about the piece. “but yes! ready, we can start with the interview first.”

"noted."

this was hayi's first assignment as part of the newspaper club, her first job that would simulate workflow in her future career. practice makes perfect, and her practice had to be perfect. so it was without any doubt that she was more than eager to begin conducting interviews with her schoolmates. she stepped into the library, her second home, with light footsteps towards the study room reserved for this purpose alone.
blink and anyone would have missed the mild surprise that crossed her face when her clubmate yuta very eagerly agreed to do the interview. but that was long gone now, replaced by her usual stony expression while she wobbled through the door with her notebook clutched tightly against her chest.
"thank you for agreeing to do this," she muttered politely while settling into a chair and flipped the computer open to an empty document, only with her questions written across the white screen. "shall we begin?"

@h. momo "same to you as well, momo," his simpering grin mirrored hers in form and shape. her countenance radiant in joyous energy that was amicable from any distance. yukhei dropped his stature down, folding it appropriately to conform to the shape of the seat as his partner had done. the pages of his textbook had multiple sticky notes protruding from the side; some were visibly wrinkled from the continuous shuffle in the interior of his backpack. the sticky tabs were neither uniform in color nor shape, some were the usual square while others were miscellaneous shapes. his brims parted slightly, a small indiscernible noise emitting from him as the other had present a compact key chain modeled after a shiba inu. yukhei was modestly taken aback, syllables only coming out in groups, "wow... t-thanks! that's really nice of you," still, his grin prodded open to more of a carefully relax smile, taking the key chain from her delicate palms by the metallic loop. his fingers ran along the modeled shiba inu, fingers attentive to the details in the mold, "thank you so much. i'm so sorry, but i didn't seem to get you anything. remind me next time, for sure." he chuckled, fishing his pockets for the only two keys which were bound by an unsullied connecting loop. he intertwined the newly gifted key chain and his existing set of keys on the table; his keys now being given a splash of color and character, no longer abiding by the monotonous metallic finish. "see? a perfect fit. it's like you knew." he tossed her another amiable grin, "i hope you have lots of fun going back home, momo. i'd definitely cherish that feeling if i were you." yukhei put away his keys before taking the textbook between his digits, flipping through each font-laden page. "i guess we should get to it then. um... i want to maybe start here. i'm still not too keen on the honorifics, especially the formal ones." his pointer finger surveyed the expanse of the page, dictating where his line of sight would fixate on next.

@l. hayi it was new--all of it, from the classes, to the rooming situation, to the clubs, everything. college felt like the first good thing that yuta had done and accomplished in years. it allowed him freedom he hadn't felt, and a fresh clean start. he could finally be his own person. it all felt real especially after fellow newspaper club member hayi offered to do his interview.
he opened the door to the study room that they booked for a two hour slot and closed the glass door behind him. it was an air-conditioned room with a conference room vibe, perfect for an interview. whipping out his phone, yuta sends her a facebook message.

@w. yukhei momo elicited a titter from their shared contact, gently shaking his own. the grasp of his hand was warm and soft, reassuring her. the latter’s big yet dreamy eyes spoke gentleness to her; making her feel comfortable and somehow safe. she had a feeling in her gut that she could trust this stranger. she nodded at his words that flowed smoothly from his lips, his voice that pleased her ears. it wasn’t harsh nor too soft. “it’s a pleasure to meet you yukhei,” she admired his name. it was unique to her. momo followed along with his gesture that lead to a seat, lightly tugging the chair back to settle into before scooting forwards and placing her black bag aside onto the table. “oh - don’t worry about it,” a small laugh emits from her tiers. she rummages through her bag, in search for her notebook written in bold ‘korean’. seeing a sight of the familiar dark letters and tugging the notebook out, stationing it in front of her. then pulling out a small shiba inu keychain that reminiscent of her time in japan. “here’s a little gift from me,” she uncurled her hand exposing the keychain to him. “it’s a shiba inu keychain i got from japan. i’m actually going back to visit my mother later july for a bit,” she said with joy as her eyes smile back at him. just the thought going back to visit her hometown made her feel better. momo carefully set her bag beside her chair with her free hand, so that they can have more room on the table. afterwards, bringing back her attention to the latter.

@h. momo yukhei watched attentively to each person to enter the library, wary of if their footsteps would take a detour, approaching him as the presumed study partner. his figure hitched in the seat every time it seemed like someone's strides would be given an ounce of his time. his backpack stayed lax in its spot, bound to the chair by each strap that hung behind the seat. yukhei had his hands propped along the table surface, forearms parallel to its smooth finish. he kept his hands modest, one hand over the other in loose fists. he'd occupy each passing second by alternating between which hand would lay over which. but then his ears perked up, met with the sight in her peripheral vision which revealed a young female's direction lining up with his. yukhei couldn't bear to sit idle, zealously standing up straight thereafter, his chair sliding out with him. the hands that were previously preoccupied now sought the digits of the other, irises fixated on the curious glint the young female radiated in tandem to her smile. he returned all nonverbal formalities, one of which being a slight grin of welcomed elation. his hand shook hers, a light tone accompanied each string of syllables that left his contoured tiers, "yes, you've got the right person. i'm wong yukhei. very nice to finally meet you, momo. how about we um... just get right into it." their point of shared contact at the handshake made yukhei slightly worried that any semblance of nervously resonated with her through the uneasy shakiness of his digits. but he neither lulled over it nor worried about it much longer. he heaved a mighty exhale of breath to relieve himself of the uncertainty of who his partner might be. but the mystery no longer clouded him, and he could feel at ease. the sort of comforting aura that elicited from momo was truly encompassing, at least. yukhei gestured her toward the seat he'd set aside for her, before pulling out one of the korean textbooks they'd been studying from. "i hope i didn't inconvenience you for coming at such a time. you're probably busy as is." yukhei's not entirely an acquaintance with small talk, but he's at least no stranger to it.

@w. yukhei it wouldn’t be a good first impression arriving late, momo made sure to be at the library by the said time. she glanced down at her delicate sliver watch that encased the circumference of her slim pale wrist, having about three minutes to arrive at the location. the big double doors that masked the library seemed intense for her onyx orbs. possibly because she hadn’t been in the library for a long period of time, preferring to do her studies in her comfy bedroom instead. her palms propelled the library door open, uncovering the all the books behind, the scent of paper brushed against her pale skin. momo wandered along the pavement at a sedate pace, searching for her study partner who was a male. she focused on making her footsteps faint with her shoulders back. finally noticing a male alone at a table, was it him? momo diverted her attention towards the tall figure in the distance, as she got closer her heartbeat began escalating, his aura was different from most guys she had encountered. it was an indescribable aura that came from the latter. he appeared young yet manly - his broad shoulders and built figure that showed his manly side. but there can be a possibility that he was actually a big softy on the inside. she cleared the knot in , briefly hovering her hand in a fist position over . “hi, you must be yukhei? i’m momo, hirai momo,” she said with a friendly tone with a hand out towards him - awaiting for a handshake. her orbs filled with amusement made contact with his, roseate tiers of hers curve into a cheeky simper that brought out the apples of her cheeks.

@h. momo the door to the library had slowed to a close, adding to the hushed ambiance that accompanied the entrance which spilled into the greater area of the library. people were scattered only intermittently, but none divulged an inch of their face; they were simply too immersed in their individual endeavors while yukhei had yet to find a seat to begin his. his strides weren't uniform in length but in sound, the heels of his feet didn't dare break the seal of silence that elegantly coddled against the library. every second that passed was solemn and quaint. yukhei was six minutes early to their suggested meetup time. he had neither a clue nor a profound understanding of who he was meeting - only a faint remnant of her silhouette which he reminded himself of from time to time preceding now. but he took an allotted spot which only had one seat, before sliding an adjacent chair over to complete the set up. yukhei took meticulous care in how close he wanted the chairs to be positioned around the circumference of the table - a compromising distance that welcomed acquaintance but shoveled away any feeling of seclusion. excellent. though a sophomore, there hasn't been any enticement from him to be more open socially. yukhei abided by the same rules of behavior in his first year, but eventually, it didn't yield anything different, of course. this time it was different; it was new. it was only a matter of time before his study partner would show up. he took the seat which faced the entrance of the library. the stature that stood grandly above the tables slacked against the seat.
