@k. namjoon myeongji doesn't know which divine spirit led her into making the decision to be at the club again, but here she was. in reality, she knows that she's here to act as a sober influence on the younger nursing students who were celebrating, but she also knows that they're old enough to make their own decisions and really don't need a babysitter to watch them. of course though, the other juniors didn't want to take on the responsibility of taking the younger ones out to the club, so the responsibility fell to her shoulders, as the other students dodged their way out of being a chaperone. no matter, myeongji wasn't really planning on staying too long, and had half the mind to drag them out of the club and into taxis in less than an hour. worse comes to worse and she can't find them all? she'll just drag whoever she can find back to campus and talk her way out of the rest of it. no one really cared anyways, it was more formality than anything to get an upper year to accompany the freshmen.
satisfied with the tentative plans, myeongji battled her way through the crowd to the bar, intent on ordering a glass of water for herself. time to wait it out for an hour.
@n. yuta myeongji occasionally glances behind her, watching the man as he sways to the music while making his way outside, making sure he doesn't get lost while following her. when they make it outside, myeongji finds herself reaching out to steady the man beside her, a hand darting out to guide his twirling so that he wouldn't stumble off the curb by accident. "oh yes! i'm myeongji. nice to meet you, yuta." myeongji can't help think to herself that this wasn't the first time she's seen him, the snapchat incident popping up in her mind once again. glancing down at her phone, she huffed as she realized the uber was going to take a little while to get to their location.
@k. myeongji he follows behind her, swaying to the beat until it becomes a purposeful rocking--his hands can't hold still as he pantomimes the lyrics to the club banger pressed against his ear until they leave the establishment. fresh air blessed him with relief from the hellfire within the club, and the music was finally muffled enough that he could hear himself and (more importantly) this girl. "byyyyy the way," he starts, twirling into her direction as he finishes off another session of rocking from foot to foot in wait of an uber, "i don't think i caught your name--i'm yuta."
@n. yuta nodding in agreement, myeongji started typing the address in her phone. "that's smart, i wouldn't want to accidentally send you off somewhere on the outskirts. and yes, i go to solace as well." looking up when the man stated he was hot, myeongji felt her cheeks flushing a tad once he let his tanktop show, quickly turning towards the exit, eyes averted from him. "uh yeah, let's go." and she started pushing her way through the crowd once more.
@k. myeongji “i proooobably cann’t type,” he confesses, holding up his hands as he shrugs, “lotssssa shaking. but um— apartment A3, solace university— do you go there?” he asks, swaying a little and thumbing something wet from the corner of his lips. “it’s too hot in here— can we head outside?” he asks, letting his ed shirt fall from his shoulders, showing his white tanktop and allowing him to cool off.
of course, the moment we all waited for— the group of idiots done their show of charades either while sobbing or spilling secrets. ‘right outside.’ he motioned back.
