@kim naeun elated, he goes as far to lift her up, twirling her around once before settling her on the counter so he could meet her eye to eye and he does just that when he pulls away. he was too buzzed on euphoria to realise the teardrop that rested on his eyelash until he shakes his head in disbelief once more and lets it trail down his face.
oh, baby...
he mumbles upon seeing her own tears, large hands immediately coming to cup her face and he uses the pads of his thumbs to brush them away, doting the tear stains with kisses and then her forehead. with there noses touching, he gazes at her with his eyes gleaming in delight.
i love you so so much. so so so soo darn much.

@kim seokwoo no words could describe how she was feeling at this moment, her heart ready to burst out of her chest with a truck ton of emotions all at once. tears well up in her eyes as she shifts on her feet, feeling antsy as she blindly settles the test onto the counter. her eyes were fixed on his, crinkling in glee that she squealed in happiness when he wrapped her up in his embrace.
we are, we are.
she repeats, almost to ensure herself of the fact as her arms wind tight around his torso, pressing in close against him, burying herself deep in his embrace.
you're going to be a wonderful father. i love love love you, so much.

@kim naeun overwhelmed would be an understatement. happiness, excitement, love, anxiety, worry, and disbelief washed over him all at once. his heart raced a mile a minute and his mind filled with a mix of images and scenarios of the future. all of it left him stunned and he only snaps out of it at the sound of her question, turning to her to nod dumbly.
we're pregnant. we're going to have a baby. we're going to start our family.
with each sentence his joy overpowers him and he can't help but grin so wide his eyes crinkle and his red cheeks hurt. immediately enveloping naeun into a tight embrace, clinging on her for dear life and murmuring softly into her hair.
you're going to be a great mother.

@kim seokwoo she was busy still chuckling at his endearing antics when his words rang in her ears but she takes a few seconds to take them in. eyes blinking rapidly. her head snaps up towards his, eyes growing wide as she finally realises the words that left his lips.
w w we are?
with a small gasp, she squints hard at the pregancy test and actually sees the two lines he was referencing, letting out a little squeak.
we are! we're pregnant - we.. we're gonna have a baby???

@kim naeun he flashes her a sheepish smile and an apologetic shrug before mumbling like a child in trouble.
i thought it would just say.. positive or negative- maybe a plus or a minus sign.
he scrunches his face at her chuckles and playfully jabs at her side but his teasing doesn't last long because upon her words he freezes, arms dropping to the side as his eyes and jaw grow wide, disbelief consuming his entire body.
t-two... l-lines... two lines. we're pregnant?

@kim seokwoo she blinks in response, lower lip jutted out to form a pout as she looks at him through the mirror as well, slowly shrugging her shoulders.
i thought you would know - you bought the test.
pursing her lips, she tries to muffle back her laughter but alas, a chuckle escapes her at their silliness. she looks at the counter and reaches for the packaging, reading it quickly with her eyes scanning over the words.
mm.. one line is negative and two lines is positive. w w what do you see, baby?

@kim naeun he squints, unable to see the result and arches over her some more, peering over her shoulder to see what the result was but he continues to struggle until she brings it right to their faces but he blinks. standing up straight again and scratching his head, eyes blank as they search for hers in the reflection of their bathroom mirror.
w-what does that mean? is that a positive or a negative?

@kim seokwoo reassured, that's what she felt with just one look at him. she heaves out a final breath, taking a slow glance at her hand before flipping it around, her fingers covering the result. with a firm nod to herself, she lifts her fingers up to reveal the results, blinking at the tiny little screen as she brings the test closer to their faces.

@kim naeun one of his hands come up to caresses her arm in an attempt to be reassuring, in a way it reassured him too knowing that she was right by his side. truly, his life partner as he was hers. he glances at her with a nod while his other hand rests over her much tinier one, gripping it loosely with one last inhale.

@kim seokwoo nods slowly, just staring at the test, the grip on his hand tightening ever so slowly as she takes in deep breaths to once again, calm herself down.
i i i , i suppose so.
biting on her lip hard, she reaches for it slowly, taking it off the counter and holding onto it tightly in her grasp. she steals a glance at him, eyes hopeful and lips pursed tightly.

@kim naeun he could barely hear over his heart hammering against his chest, gulping nervously as he follows her into the bathroom like a lost puppy, eyes wide and not knowing what to do. immediately, his eyes fall on to the test, blinking rapidly in disbelief before turning to her with a sharp inhale.
d-do we just turn it over?

@kim seokwoo at that moment, she forgets all her nerves and worries, opting to spill her emotions into the one kiss, heart pounding hard in her chest as she kisses him with all of her heart. a soft chuckle escapes her, breathless as she nudges her nose against his, eyes crinkling as she gazes into his.
mm.. lets.
with a smile curling upon her tiers, she grabs him by the hand and leads them both into the bathroom, eyeing the pregnancy test that was on the counter, facing downwards.
oh my - this is real, isn't it?

@kim naeun takes a minute to deepen the kiss, a hand coming to hold the side of her face as his fingers tangle themselves in her hair and he tilts his head to the side all in hopes to show her with that one kiss how much she meant to him and how utterly, completely, totally, and foolishly in love he is with her. parts from the kiss slightly breathless and presses their foreheads together while nuzzling their noses fondly, a simper taking over his lips and he gazes at her with sparkling eyes.

he asks hurriedly, pushing himself off the wall upon the sound of her leaving the bathroom but he eases at her answer, an affectionate smile adorning his lips and he nods.he steps to her, coming behind her to snake his arms around her waist, hiding his face in her shoulder to dot chaste kisses across her neck.

@kim seokwoo she fiddles with the test for a bit to calm her nerves before she's seated on the toilet and doing the necessary process to properly take the test. after peeing on the stick, she sets it aside on the counter and washes her hand, still trying to calm her breathing.
okay, i got this.
she utters to herself with a nod, opening the door fully to offer him a nervous smile.
5 minutes, we have to wait 5 minutes.

I'm currently doing a thesis about korean roleplay (what is it and what motivation people have to do it and write with each other). To give a bit of feedback, my master is Communication, Culture and Information Technology ^_^ and my field is internet so I've decided to choose a topic that I've done for years and literally saved my when I was sad or felt no one understood me.
