⌭ cabin #7 - apollo

@s. seungwan His friendly and approachable persona cracked a little bit with how business-like their handshake seemed, their hands giving off a feeling of distance, and it had a chill settling at the base of Minghao's spine as his smile tightened a bit. He returned his hand to his clipboard, straightening his posture as he took a deep breath and let it out in a silent exhale. "Pleasure to meet you as well, Seungwan. You're welcome to any of the free beds. It is bunk style, but there aren't nearly as many kids here as say the Hermes cabin," he continued to explain as he gestured to the empty bunks, "You'll have plenty of time to unpack later, though. For now, I'm here to give you a tour of the grounds and answer any questions you may have."

Minghao took that moment to glance at his watch for the time, humming softly to himself as he took into account how much time he had before he was needed elsewhere. He probably had a good hour or two to dedicate to his new sister, so he wasn't that worried. Although, if the entire interaction was going to be this cold, he wouldn't mind it being a little shorter than the time he had allotted for it.

He placed a check mark next to her name on his clipboard so that she was accounted for like the rest of the cabin members. It was normally something he would do when they woke up and before they went to bed so he could keep track of all of his campers. "I might go a little fast on this tour because I've lived here for quite some time, so if anything doesn't make sense or needs more explanation, feel free to let me know and I'll slow down." He commented before turning on his heel to head back out the way he had come, already thinking of what would be the best route to take a new camper on.

@s. seungwan Rumors spread quickly amongst campers, especially regarding new recruits who weren't sent to live amongst the Hermes kids. The already claimed new arrivals always brought the most gossip, of course. It was unusual for children to be claimed so quickly, and even more unusual for them to be kept within the walls of the infirmary much longer than anyone else really. Minghao couldn't ever remember being in the infirmary for much more than a flesh wound at best, and that would be if he couldn't heal it himself with his own materials.

Regardless of the rumors, though, Minghao knew that he would eventually have a new sibling joining him in his cabin with the other children of Apollo. He had recently become the Head Counselor of the cabin, so it was his business to know when he would be expecting another name for his roster to keep track of. So of course he was notified when the new girl was finally permitted to join the rest of the camp life, and it was his responsibility to make sure she got well-acquainted with the camp and would be prepared for life outside camp if she were to ever go on quests. It would also help her out for the time she was living her normal life beyond the walls of Camp Half Blood, a life Minghao couldn't really imagine himself.

Just for niceties, he knocked against the polished door of his own cabin to alert the other to his presence, expression a little guarded as he wasn't sure what he would be met with when he went inside. He never really got to see the girl that was his half-sister, as his abilities thrived in other fields that didn't require him in the infirmary. He stepped inside and offered a small smile, holding his orientation clipboard close to his chest as he offered his free hand to the other. "Hey there. My name's Xu Minghao, and I'm the head counselor of the Apollo cabin, which makes us half-siblings."
