There was a fire at one of Arcani Heights’ most well-respected night clubs, Club Temptress. Officials were on the scene within moments, and were able to douse the flames after half an hour. Unfortunately, all patrons inside were already deceased, including one who had seemingly been decapitated that lay on the floor. Another had been shot in the back of the head, as if he were trying to escape someone.

Although there is ample evidence for arson, authorities refuse to give any more than this statement.

“What happened last night was a tragedy, and we as a city will mourn our lost families, but it is unclear the cause of the fire yet; arson is not out of the realm of possibilities but we suspect faulty wiring.”

(The screen transitions back to the newscaster, who seems beyond disappointed with such a response.)

Despite the Fire Chief’s suspicion of faulty wiring, the walls seemed to be heavily damaged, as if they were soaked in alcohol beforehand. This may be due to a bar brawl, which is not uncommon, or the work of an arsonist. We hope to have the answers soon, for the sake of the families who lost their loved ones last night.
