this is a private roleplay between yangyang and dong sicheng

@sicheng Yangyang perked up immediately at a woman's voice, red orbs gazing at the newcomer, recognizing the very familiar shade of purple predominant in her dress. "Oh, nice to see you again! It's been a while, hasn't it?" he asked, hoisting himself up onto the fence so he could sit down and swing his legs freely. "I would have stopped by, but I don't have much time to do so. My brother and I are here on a little food trip."

Another soft crunch followed as he bit into his sunsettia again, already halfway through the peach-like fruit. He proceeds to toss the seeds into a nearby bush, looking over his shoulder to see if Kun had returned to their meeting spot by the fountain. In the midst of boredom and new conversations, he had forgotten to buy a few ingredients from the shop. Not wanting to laze around any further knowing the chef's schedule. Yangyang had to quickly bid goodbye to the two so he could finally purchase what Kun had told him to get earlier. "Let's run into each other again next time. I'll be around for a few days. You'll know where to find me," the boy tells them with a subtle wink before taking off like air, leaving a tiny trail of fire.

Thankfully, he manages to buy the needed ingredients just as Kun jogged over to him at the fountain, catching him in the middle of stuffing his face with a grilled tiger fish. The two head off to the bridge just as the sun began to set. Yangyang lit them a fire by the shore, torturing a poor little hydro slime while Kun cooked dinner over the flames. The slimes keep the wolf boy entertained for quite some time, until the smell of jueyun chili and meat bring him back to their little camp with Nuomi happily jumping at his side.

@yangyang *kun™ Winwin hums, listening to the stranger's suggestions. The indecisive that he is, he really appreciates people who can suggest him something that could let him decide on. Winwin was about to follow the stranger's suggestion until the latter moves to the stove top. His blue orbs follows the figure, and smiles, "Really? That's nice. I'd love to learn how to cook someday."

He crosses his legs and leans on the chair he's sitting on, casually watching the other fishing ingredients from his bag. Winwin hums as he continues watching the other. He rests his chin on the chair's backrest with the support of both of his hands.

As he introduces, Winwin remembers the book he read about Liyue given to him by Amber. "Yangyang from Liyue. I'll remember that." He replies. "Mondstadt cuisine, huh? I'm not really that knowledgeable with it so I just go buy some food here and grab what I like, but I'm very indecisive." He chuckles. As the plate comes in, his eyes sparkle in excitement, drooling unconsciously. "C-can I really? Oh, dear Archon, I suddenly feel in debt with you." He glances at Yangyang, feeling embarrassed that a stranger he just met coincidentally just came in and cooked for him.

Picking up a nearby fork, he digs in, slicing on the soft pancakes and taking a bite. The warm pancake melts in his mouth, the syrup adding in the sweetness of the snack. Winwin hums in delight, and starts stuffing more bite sized pancakes in his mouth. "This is great!" He comments, a bit struggling since his mouth is nearly full. He pauses, putting down his fork and clears his mouth before talking, "I'm Winwin. Don't really remember where I really came from, just found myself being attacked by some hilichurls and saved by someone. Became part of the Knights of Favonius 2 years ago and helping out around the city."

Eating on a dish that Winwin particularly liked made him lost track of time. While he was eating, he didn't notice the electro user, Lisa, until she suddenly grabbed another fork and took a bite. He gasped and followed the hand who took a bite, but sighed once he recognized the figure. "If you are going to grab a bite, please tell me ahead of time." He rubbed his temple as Lisa chuckles, "Well, who wouldn't resist to have one of these fluffy pancakes?" She giggles, and notices the silver-haired person near him. "Oh, long time no see, Yangyang!"

@sicheng The man had a rather peculiar aura around him, something akin to a traveler who has absolutely no idea where he's going. However, he was in no place to judge a native. Perhaps they were just indecisive at the moment. After all, even Yangyang, as voracious as he was, would sometimes struggle figuring out what he wants to have during his mealtime. Gently, he carefully pushed the menu flat onto the table, a sharpened nail tapping over one of Good Hunter's specialties. "Fisherman's Toast, maybe?" he suggested, tilting his head at the customer. "It's not the most appealing of names, but it packs quite the flavor. Especially if you have a thing for bread topped in onions."

He paused for a few seconds, lips pursed together in thought as he scanned the other menu items, not really finding anything else worth recommending as a snack. "Or," he started again, hopping over to the restaurant's free-use stove top, "I could also make you something."

Yangyang dug through his bag to check his ingredients, finding a good amount of variety from all the foraging he had done during his free hours. He gently rolls a few vibrant yellow berries onto the stone oven, followed by half a bag of flour and some bird eggs he had picked up from the Wangshu Inn's tree canopy. "Would you be interested in some tea break pancakes? My friend here taught me how to make these," he asked, his tone calm and professional as he started putting things together without waiting for an answer. Either way, if the other didn't want them, there was always Kun, and Kun loved a little sugar every once in a while.

"Also, it's a bit rude of me to not introduce myself," he chuckled, stepping away from the stove to let the dish cook. He would have extended a hand to the other, but he had a feeling that the stranger would be a little intimidated by the claws. "Qian Yangyang from Liyue. I'm here for a few days with my brother, he's currently learning about Mondstadt cuisine," the boy explained, moving on instinct when the stove dinged softly, plating up the pancakes and setting it down onto the stranger's table. "It's like a culinary trip of some sorts. He went off interviewing people while I bought some ingredients."

Yangyang reached up to slip his hood off of his head, silvery white hair shining under the late morning sunlight, a short fluffy braid extending just a little below his shoulders. He conjures a sunsettia from god knows where, sinking his teeth into the fruit with a soft crunch as he leaned against the wooden fence beside the steps. "So, would you mind telling me your name?"

@yangyang *kun™ Browsing the books at the Library, Winwin flips one page gently, his eyes immersed on the book's content. He was eager to try and recover his lost memories—and maybe a book may help him recover some of it... hopefully. He sighs in disappointment, closing the book and putting it on top of the pile of books on his right side.

"Judging by your sigh, I guess that book didn't work either." A petite, brown haired girl spoke behind him, her signature rabbit-styled hairband moving with her head that tilted as she goes on thinking once again. "And here I thought that book would work, since it talks about the snowy mountains in Snezhnaya, where the Cryo Archon lives, y'know?" She sighs in disbelief, as Winwin stood up and pats her head gently. "It's okay, Amber. You've done enough. Thanks." Winwin walks away, opening the door and shutting it gently, leaving the Outrider alone in the library.

He walks around the city, thinking about the last book he have read. The place sounded quite familiar, but he somehow can't really grasp on it. He tried so many times, but only leading to his head aching. He glances on his Vision hanging on his left side, still wondering how he got the Cryo Vision. He doesn't remember being blessed by one of the seven Archons, especially that it's Cryo. Winwin tried asking his mentor, Kaeya, a fellow Cryo user about it, but the mysterious guy that he is, he only gives misleading answers, making Winwin more confused.

He teleports to Dawn Winery, and visited his most trusted friend and another mentor of his, Diluc. He was able to teach Winwin how to use a sword, just in case he lost his weapon of choice which is a fan, a bit unusual, since most of the wielders of visions uses a sword, a bow and arrow, a claymore, or a catalyst. In Winwin's case, he uses a Fan, blowing cold winds with his Vision, freezing hilichurls to death. Diluc decided to teach him how to handle a sword as an alternative, or a 2nd choice of weapon, and for learning more self-defense as well. Winwin enters the room, the familiar red-head behind the counter welcomes him with a lowkey smile.

Winwin sat down, huffing and putting his head down, palming his face on the counter. "The usual?" Diluc starts the conversation. Winwin responds with a muffled 'yes please', and the red-head slides him a drink. "I guess it's another day of being stuck at square one, huh?" Diluc says, leaning on the counter. Winwin pulls his head up, showing an 'I-want-to-give-up-but-I-also-don't-want-to" face. Diluc chuckles, "Yeah, I knew it."

The bell from the door rings as it opens, as the Acting Grand Master, Jean, comes in. She walks in and sat beside Winwin, as Diluc slides another drink for the new visitor. "I knew you'd be here, Winwin. Heard from Amber." She spoke up, resulting in another huff coming from Winwin. "Hey, cheer up! I got a mission for you, assistant Cavalry Captain." Jean replies, hoping to liven up the mood, which worked from the reaction that Winwin gave—suddenly sitting up straight, eyes sparkling from excitement.

The next day comes by, and Winwin was supposed to meet with Lisa and Kaeya at the Good Hunter's place today for the mission, but they had other stuff to attend to, and told him to wait for 10 minutes. Ticked off, he sat down, casually grabbing the menu laying on top of the table. He sure is hungry, his empty stomach growls in agreement. Winwin decided to grab a snack while waiting for the two. He can't decide on which snack to take, so he kept on staring on the menu, until a stranger, a chef-looking stranger approached him. "Oh, um, I just...can't decide. I want something to fill my stomach, but not too much? Like a simple snack." He replies, hoping that the other would recommend something good for him.

@sicheng There was a look of nostalgic fondness in Yangyang's eyes as the wind gently carried him to the ground, boots landing safely on a patch of soft grass. It had been two years since he last visited Wolvendom, two years since the last time he saw his lupine family. He vividly remembers the pack of wolves that had taken him in and raised him as one of their own after he was abandoned by his human parents, wrapped cozily in a pelt of boar fur and tucked away safely inside a rundown vegetable cart where they eventually left him. Yangyang grew up in the ways of a wolf, but soon had to train and remind himself that he was still, and would always be, a human being at the end of the day no matter how loyal he was to the pack.

On the day he turned six years old, he was gifted a Vision from the Pyro Archon, granting him the elemental ability to manipulate fire. Although a clumsy youth, he diligently learned how to use and control his power, eventually finding an innate skill with the bow and arrow, as well as a claymore, for a weapon. When he was twelve, he was given a Favonius Warbow by a kind lady in purple named Lisa as thanks for saving her from a band of highly aggressive mitichurls. She took interest in him immediately, and despite the difficulty of communication as Yangyang spoke little to no human language, she still managed to befriend him, soon leading to her gifting him another weapon — the Sacrificial Greatsword, a top tier claymore that the boy soon learned to love aside from his bow.

The Knights of Favonius saw him around often after Lisa had befriended him, frequently seen scouting the walls of Mondstadt with his family of wolves, scaring away the groups of hilichurls who dared to camp too close to the city. After a few years, it had become the boy's routine to come around, protecting the people without receiving much from them in return. It was until one day, when Yangyang suddenly stopped coming, that Lisa started to get worried for him. The wolves were chased off by an angry mob from Springvale, leaving Yangyang alone and injured in the meadows, curled up in pain where Lisa had fortunately found him. He was immediately patched up by Mondstadt's resident healer, Barbara, and was back to full health in no time. However, his heart felt empty and broken, because now he no longer had a family — not man, not even wolf.

Feeling incredibly heavy at the loss of his pack, Lisa suggested travelling in hopes that the boy would gain enough energy from adventure to reignite the vigor that was once burning inside of him like the element he was bestowed with. And so Yangyang went, bidding the knights goodbye as he crossed border after border, passing by waypoints which were so convenient whenever he got lost. By the time he was sixteen, he finally decided to stop wandering the wilderness in favor of civilization, taking his first steps into the heart of Liyue where he ran into the city's well-known chef, Qian Kun.

Immediately, this man found something wrong in the boy's features. Exhaustion, sadness, fear, and perhaps a bit of resentment was evident in his glowing red orbs. There was fire in his eyes, but it was weak and dying, slowly extinguished by heavy emotions of grief. And so, Kun made the impulsive decision to take him in and raise him, treating him like the younger brother he never had. He taught him how to cook, how to work around in his kitchen and restaurant, how to hunt, and how to forage. Also, he made sure to teach Yangyang how to read and write, soon finding out that the boy's parents must have been Liyue natives, as his tongue found more familiarity in their language compared to the one they use in Mondstadt.

He lived there happily as Kun's little brother, a new fire burning inside of him as he found happiness once more. He trained in the mornings and helped Kun make dishes from afternoon to evening. He would often go out and gather ingredients, often bringing back tea leaves, wheat, wild radishes, sunsettias, and hefty amounts of fowl and boar meat. Growing up with wolves had its perks, as it made Yangyang such a skilled hunter that even the residents of Liyue soon offered him Mora for his services. Life was good and well. He was content, finding a new and hopefully permanent home in the representative city of the Geo Archon.

And now, here he was, once again travelling back to Mondstadt. But this time, he was accompanied by Kun, as well as his little companion Nuomi, a fire wolf he once saved along the path leading up to Wangshu. They were the best of friends ever since.

"So, this was your home?" Kun asked, staring into the depths of the Wolvendom woods. Yangyang simply nodded, smiling from the memories it brought back although he made no move to enter in fear he would reminisce too much and cry. So instead, they went straight up to Mondstadt's gates after their little visit. Kun was in search of recipes and new ingredients, and Yangyang simply tagged along because he dearly missed the city of wind. If he could, he would have marched into Favonius headquarters to greet the knights, but it seemed that Kun needed him around for assistance.

It was when Kun asked him to process some sugar and flour did they separate for a while, leaving Yangyang alone by Good Hunter's open cooking spot, waiting for the said ingredients to be done. In his boredom, he spots a man sitting at a table by himself, seemingly baffled by the menu items even though he looked like a native. Deciding that he should offer some help, Yangyang padded over to the stranger, a small smile on his face as he approached. "Need some help?"
