@jeongguk ₃ As soon as the Final Selection starts, Joohyun and Hana starts venturing down the mountain. At first she was confident to kill some demons but when she saw another demon, she cringed and let her other friend kill it for her. Hana looked at the terrified Joohyun and sighs, "You should fight, Joohyun. I can't promise that I would protect you forever." She told to her before she used the first form of Thunder Breathing against the next demon that is about to attacked them.

Joohyun gasped and looks around as another demon appeared, she pushed Hana away from the demon and she took a shallow breathing and whispered. "Thunder Breathing, Fifth Form: Heat Lightning." With an instant move, she unsheathed her katana and slashed the demon's head with the aura of blue lightning. There's a difference between the normal color of Thunder Breathing, Hana has a standard yellow color which all of the former Thunder Hashira had. Joohyun's breathing color is unique than the other, however she's lacking of competence to show her fighting style and breathing style, she hasn't mastered yet the First Form as it is hard for her to master.

"Nice job, Joohyun! Keep it going!" Hana told her before a big demon pounced at them in which they dodged it. "Humans! I have been waiting for you!" The big demon told before it chases Hana, she was going to chase after the large demon when a group of demon blocked her way. Joohyun gasped and used her other forms to kill them before she starts running towards the big demon but she doesn't know where it was. "Hana!" She yelled as she called her name but there are no response, however it was heard by other demons and starts going to her direction.

She fights off the demons on her way until one from behind pulled her hair and throws her hard against the tree, Joohyun groans in pain as her back hits against the trunk. There are three demons in front of her and starts drooling over her, "Filthy demons... Get away from me!" She crawls back and gets her katana and points it against them. When she got lean on a rock, it was her end. She took more shallow breath and tries to get up and whispered, "Thunder Breathing, Second form: Rice Spirit!" Then she was able to create a series of blue lightning attacks around her enemies and finish them off clean before she starts running again.

Joohyun stops in her tracks when she saw another demon slayer that uses Water Breathing and sees him how he moves, when another demon was about to attack him from behind. She uses the sixth form where she creates a series of range blue lightning against the demon before running towards him. "You need help?" She told him as she pants as they finished the demons around them.

@joohyun Jeongguk ran through the forest, eyes scanning his surrounding in case there was a demon that would appear. His mind running wild thinking of a ways to survive this without getting killed, there was no way that his months of training will gone to waste. First, he needed to go through the night and waited until the morning came. If he was lucky, then maybe he did not need bump into one of those flesh eaters. But he guessed that the universe had a different plan for him because he heard a growling sound from above making the young man looked up, seeing one demon ambushed him. He quickly jumped backward, taking out his katana as he shot a glare at the monster in front of him.

"Finally, I have my food." The demon in front of him looked like a male with a long hair, he could see the saliva on his mouth making him grimace in pure disgust mixed with anger because just by seeing one of them made him remember about that one night he lost his only family member. "You sound too confident that you can eat me you disgusting flesh eater." The demon laughed in response when he heard him, already running towards him in a full speed as the raven haired male tightening his grip on his sword.

"Total concentration, water breathing. First form : Water Surface Flash." The water element appeared from the katana, creating a powerful single concentrated slash against the demon's neck precisely making the head fall on the ground and soon the body turned into a dust.

@jeongguk ₃ The nightmares she was dreaming is true, the final selection is true. Joohyun was trained for this very moment to show if she is ready to become a demon slayer, she didn't take time to waste on her training under the former Thunder Hashira. She and her other friend, Hana trained every breathing they have. However, Joohyun have limited breathing styles and Hana perfected the every breathings. She is not confident to kill a demon with limited breathing, their master should have chose Hana to get to the final selection and not her but she got dragged into this Joohyun gripped her sword as they walked up the stage where there are many demon slayers that are going to take up the final selection.

Joohyun grew up in a peaceful family, his brother used to be a Wind Breathing Hashira yet he went missing for a few years, even his crow was nowhere to be found. That is why she took her training seriously to find her brother. She left her home to find the former Wind Hashira, however, he refused to take Joohyun as the Wind Breathing is hard to master for her age. Along with the former Hashira, the Thunder Breathing took her as her trainee and trained her the ways of Thunder Breathing.

She looked around to see the Wisteria flowers growing around the mountain, covering the lower side of Fujikasane Mountain. When the twins announced that the event had started with the duration of seven days, Joohyun starts cower in fear. Can she survive the Final Selection in the duration of seven days? She gulped and gripped her katana more before looking over to Hana, "Hana... I don't think I'm ready for this..." She muttered and the latter looked at her. "Don't worry, Joohyun, just stick with me." She smiled with reassurance.

@joohyun After months of training under the previous Water Hashira, Jeongguk was one step closer to his goal. To slaughter that demon who devoured his only family member, his big sister. He still couldn't forget that one dreadful knight when he just came home to see the flesh eater already tore his big sister to pieces, her blood covered the tatami floor inside the place they called home. He remembered the lifeless eyes of her sister looking right at him and back then he was a coward because he ran, to ask for some help and ran into one of the demon slayers. But when he was back, the demon already disappeared all was left was his own despair, regret, and anger when he hugged his sister's lifeless body in his arms. From that moment, he promised to himself that he would find the demon that killed his sister to end his life with his own hands. The demon slayer that he met took him to the Water Hashira to be his disciple, trained under his care to grow stronger until the day of final selection came.

He walked down the forest up to the stairs, surrounded by blooming wisteria as he climbed further closer to his destination. When he reached at the top, he realized there were already many people around him. Mostly were guys and there were only few girls, one though caught his attention. Getting a look at her, at first he did not believe someone looking beautiful and graceful at her could have the guts to murder a demon. But he learned not to judge the book by its cover. Before he could approach her out of curiosity, the two girls in front of the shrine suddenly talked taking away his attention on the process. They looked like twins, just with different hair colors. One was white and the other was black.

"Dearest participants, thank you for gathering here to join The Demon Slayer's Corps' FInal Selection. Here on Fujikasane Mountain, we have in capacity a lot of demons caught alive by our very own slayers. There is no way they can get out of here." They started to talking in unison before explained further that the demons couldn't get out from the mountain because of the wisteria that bloomed through out the year. But we needed to survive for 7 days within the presence of those demons so we will get accepted on the Demon Slayer Corps.

'7 days...I only need to survive for 7 days.' He gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on his katana.

"Thus, we will wish you all the best." The twins bowed to all the participants and he ran into the forest, joining the others ready for the final selection.
