@❧ Park Jimin H "Hey, don't be sorry," Hyunjin said gently and shook his head. Jimin's powers were unbelievably amazing and Hyunjin could only dream to achieve such powers. Surely, he could survive in the ocean and save people from drowning but actually saving people from certain death was so special. He stared at the other for a long while, noticing that he was clearly feeling bad and Hyunjin wished he could take care of Jimin and make him feel better. However he wasn't the best with comforting. The next moment Jimin seemed to remember and he chuckled gently. "That is amazing," he said and smiled warmly, nodding. "Lead the way?" He was excited to get to Jimin's place, rest some and then learn more about Jimin's powers and potions. It sounded so unbelievably fascinating and Hyunjin hoped he could learn it too.

Surprised Hyunjin looked at the other and he turned a little shy when Jimin complimented him. "Thank you," he said and held the walking stick, having an easier time to walk now. It was still not easy and the hot sun was dehydrating his body faster than he liked but at least he was alive and wasn't dying of infection. At least not now. "Yeah, water helps me a lot too but it's not a surprise," Hyunjin said as he looked around, carefully walking with Jimin. He had problems keeping up with walking but he was teyit his best. "It definitely is," he said as he looked around to make sure they were safe and sound and walking away from the darkness. He had seen quite a few demons around here after all.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin Nodding his head in agreement, Jimin flashed the taller male a smile; though this time it was quite obvious that this smile was different. It was weaker. "Of course, I have small bottles that I can keep them in and I can bring them along with us in my satchel." Letting out a small hum, he looked down at his hands, it was pitiful really. He couldn't so much as use his powers to heal somebody without totally draining himself. And if anything, he hated to be pitied, even self pity was something that appalled him; but he still couldn't help but feel this way. "Yeah......I'm sorry," the fairy said in a small voice, peeking at Hyunjin from his peripheral vision. Then suddenly, something came to mind. He wasn't a complete disappointment after all! "Wait! I do, I do know a forest that is closer.." Jimin grinned tilting his head back up to face the merman correctly. "It's the chanted forest and it's really actually not that far from here."

A soft expression took over his facial features, it was true: a smile definitely looked very, very beautiful on Hyunjin. "It looks pretty on you," Jimin hummed happily, observing as the merman steadied himself on the walking stick. "Okay, the pathway to the other forest is around that way if I recall correctly." Motioning with his head towards a brighter path that looked quite cheery; maybe a bit too cheery but it wouldn't appear as a threat to anyone. "Oh yes, water helps a lot," he started out as the two began walking towards the spoken path, "I've learned it a long time ago, and it also does good for you so it's really a win-win situation."

@❧ Park Jimin H "Then we need to make some and keep them on us in case something happens. So I can help you too," Hyunjin said, clearly used to getting harmed on a regular basis. He was not really happy with it, however this world had clearly shown him how dangerous it could be. "Maybe next time you don't have to exhaust yourself this badly," he then mumbled, looking at the smaller. He felt so sorry that he had used so much energy but at the same time he was just really grateful as he knew if Jimin had not helped him he would have died. "Not... not really. I barely know any forests around here," he mumbled and his lips, looking at Jimin. "What about you?" He knew a lot about the sea, the ocean, but the land? No, definitely not.

There was a small blush on Hyunjin's cheeks when he heard the other tell him he looked better when smiling and a small chuckle left his lips. "Uhm... I'll try to smile more?" he mumbled but he knew it would just slip out from time to time. He took a deep breath as he kept walking with the other. he nodded and looked at the other. "A walking stick is perfect," he mumbled and carefully took it when Jimin handed it to him. "Thank you." He did not want to put his entire weight on Jimin, after all he knew the other was exhausted too. He then blinked. "So water is good for you too?" Well, that was a surprise but thena gain not. All of them were somehow connected after all.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin The shorter male smiled brightly, making sure to keep that cheery personality that people had grown so fond of. Jimin’s arm remained hooked around Hyunjin’s waist, his smaller fingers gasping onto the taller male in order to support him correctly. "Yes I can, the tonics can work for me also." He reassured the other male with a nod of his head. Silently, the small guardian admired the sparkling skin before Hyunjin’s question brought him back. "O-Oh, any forest really. I just need the forest and the aura it gives off, the magic filled surroundings of nature is really what helps me.. do you know any forests that are closer?"

Jimin blinked but decided that the merman was most likely right. "Okay," he said, giving Hyunjin’s arm a gentle nudge. "A smile looks much better on your lips." The fairy’s eyes stared at the longer path and slowly began to head towards it with Hyunjin on his arm. "I can do it, when we get to the forest, we will need to find a body of water or some sort... the water will help me." It was something he learned a long time ago, water replenishes and renews life.. water was the key to survival. "Maybe a stick? Like a walking stick?" Jimin’s eyes looked around to search for a big enough branch or stick. "There!" He pointed to a long piece of a branch, probably a piece of driftwood but it was the perfect size.

@❧ Park Jimin H "Thank you so much," Hyunjin said as he slowly moved with the other, carefully moving. His body was still not fit, but at least he was not in pain anymore, or at least not as bad as before. He chewed on his bottom lip as he kept walking next to Jimin. He could feel how exhausted the other was as well but he also knew that he would not be able to walk on his own. At least not far. Not when his body felt like an entire wreck. He took a deep breath. "Can you replenish yourself too?" he asked and looked at the smaller one. He was adorable and Hyunjin wanted Jimin to be all safe and sound. He had saved him, without him he would definitely be dead. "Is any other forest as good or do you need your forest?" Curiously he looked at the other, his head tilted a bit. The sun was still hot on his pale skin, a few scales that never disappeared no matter what form shimmering in the sunlight.

"No but honestly? I don't want to try it," the merman mumbled and looked at the other, a frown on his pretty face. If dangerous monsters waited for them inside he would definitely not risk anything like that. Chewing on his bottom lip he stared at the shortcut and then shook his head. "We take the longer way," he then said and looked at Jimin. "Do you think you can do that?" he asked and looked around for some branch that could maybe help him support his body so Jimin did not have to. "Maybe we can find something that can help me walk." He was sure Jimin needed a break too. But he couldn't risk them encountering a dangerous monster and Hyunjin had already met a few in here.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin Jimin nodded his head with a smile tugging the corners of his lips upwards. "Of course I’ll show you how to make them." He looked up at the other male with a bright twinkling in his rounded doe eyes. "As soon as we get back to the forest I’ll mix you up a tonic to help finish healing the rest of your body." Lightly, Jimin patted the side of Hyunjin’s chest, in a sort of reassuring manner. Although he kept a smiling face, everything felt a little bit uneasy now. There was a weird feeling deep down inside of him which was a clear sign that his energy had been drained a bit. He was in need of it to be restored. This time when he glanced back at Hyunjin, his smile held a bit of worry and nervousness, but being the person he is, he would never say it aloud until he is at the point where he can barely stand.

The fairy’s small fingers clung close to the merman’s waist to ensure that the other wouldn’t fall over or stumble and if he did then Jimin would be there to help him back up again. Shuffling his body a little bit closer, he let out a light chirpy hum. "I won’t.. I won’t overwork myself." He replied. "I’ll be okay, don’t worry about me.. see, I’m perfectly fine. You’re the one who you should be worrying about." A small frown comes to his lips and his face falls. Hyunjin did want to get there quicker, this was the fastest way that Jimin knew. Furrowing his brows, he took another step towards, glancing up at the taller merman who he held onto. "Are you sure it was that exact path?" A shortcut was just what they needed and now the little fairy had his mind set on going through that way. "But, the path I took may take too long.." His lips push out until a pout forms on his bottom lip. "Are you sure that you don’t wanna try it? I’ll let you choose which path to take, the path where I came on.. or the shortcut." He pointed, the first path seeming lighter than the other, while the shortcut had a thick forest of trees covering it, the sunshine barely getting through.

@❧ Park Jimin H “That would be great,” Hyunjin said as Jimin explained that he could teach him. “Maybe I can help you with something. Anything, honestly. Give back some, after all you helped me a lot.” He had made sure he would survive after all. Even though his skin was still burned and his body was littered with bruises, the worst was already over. He could feel how easy it was finally to breathe and how he could walk. Otherwise he would have probably lost part of his fin – the part that was his foot in his human form. He did not even have any kind of scarring and Hyunjin was sure that it surely had been exhausting for the fairy. He felt bad about it and he just hoped he would be able to give some of it back to the other. He deserved it.

Feeling Jimin’s hand on his waist made him blink surprised and even slightly blush. It had been quite a while since he had last been close to anyone or even been touched and especially his skin being touched? That was new to him. He his lips and tried not to hold too tightly onto Jimin, not wanting to take even more energy from him. “It’s… it’s okay,” he said and his lips. “Please do not overwork yourself,” he said and then looked towards the path the other was mentioning. A shiver ran down his spine right away, not having a good feeling about it. “I am not sure,” he admitted and frowned, shaking his head a bit. His intuition had always been good and it was telling him to stay away. “Why do we not take the way you came here? I am sure it is safer.” He wanted to get Jimin back to the forest as fast as possible and he knew walking on his own two legs was difficult as he was not yet used to it, but if it meant staying away from dangers he would do that. “I think I heard rumours about that path. Bad ones.” However he was not sure yet. Maybe he was mistaken.
❧ Park Jimin H 3 years ago
@☵ Hwang Hyunjin Jimin just smiled through his eyes, the apples of his cheeks being clearly visible and his eyes scrunching up until they looked like little crescent moons. He knew that Hyunjin had just been healed and the after-affects were obviously taking quite a number on the merman’s body. It made him sad that there wasn’t much more he could offer as of right now. "We will get to the forest in a little bit, okay?" He reassured. "Then I will make it all better." All the smaller male had to do was let Hyunjin drink the elixir, then all of the outside and inside oos would be healed completely. The ones that Jimin wasn’t able to see, since he did kind of need to be touching the injury in order for the magic to work correctly.

Yes, Jimin did have a lot of head knowledge and he knew how to put two and two together, but he was ignorant in some areas of this new lifestyle. He had only seen the good side of this world and had no idea what lies beyond the light. What lurked in the darkness or what other creatures that could possibly be dangerous or predatory to him. His grin only continued to grow until he was smiling ear to ear. The fairy’s body bounced up a little bit, being excited to see that somebody else was taking interest in his work. "Really?" He blinked once their gazes met. "I could.. I could teach how to make some when we get back?" The shorter male purses his lips, looking up at the bright blue horizon for a second. "Most of them don’t taste bad, they have an herbal flowery taste.. kind of like chamomile but sweeter. But other ones can sometimes be quite bitter."

An idea came into the fairy’s head and he took a step closer towards the merman. "I can help you along the way." He hooked on me of his arms around Hyunjin’s waist. "Here, our one of your arms over my shoulder.. you can lean on me." Jimin’s body shivered slightly and he blinked away the blurriness that was trying to cloud his vision. Catching his lower lip between his teeth, the smaller male’s head turned into a different direction. It was still the way to the forest, except this was a different path, a not so friendly one but Jimin only had an idea of what dangers lies within. "We could take that path, it’s a shortcut and we would get there a whole lot faster." He looked up at Hyunjin as he pointed to the path with his free hand.

@❧ Park Jimin H “Thank you,” Hyunjin said and looked at Jimin, walking with the other. He was careful as his legs and feet were quite sensitive but he wanted to try his best to walk on his own. Jimin had already helped him so much and he felt so bad, Jimin must surely be exhausted already. But looking at the other he could see a beautiful smile and the merman smiled back, gently. The forest did not seem too far away and he hoped he could make it on his own, however he could already feel his legs shake quite a bit. He had not used them in quite a while.

Curiously Hyunjin listened to Jimin and tilted his head a bit as he carefully moved with the other. He was cute to watch and it was nice to listen to him, hearing how excited he talked about those elixirs. He was smart and he clearly knew what he was talking about. Hyunjin wondered if Jimin would like to teach him some, how to make elixirs or just work with some herbs in general. He was not exactly well-taught in that area, sadly. And in the ocean injuries happened pretty quick if one was not keeping an eye on their surroundings. “It sounds pretty cool, if I am honest,” he said and looked up at the other. “Even if it might taste icky, if it can save lives no one should complain about that.” Honestly he would eat any kind of bug if it made sure he did not have to suffer the the pain he had just gone through.

“I am not sure how well I am with walking on my own,” Hyunjin admitted a little shyly and looked at the other, a frown on his face. He was still not really back to his normal form and if he was honest he was tired. A few steps worked without a problem but when Jimin told him how long it would take he frowned. “I’m not sure if I can make it there without help,” he admitted and kept moving, but his movements were a lot less confident as in the beginning. He was still in pain however Jimin had already made sure he was a lot better. He was unbelievably grateful, without the other beautiful creature he would definitely be dead. “Thank you so much for your help,” he then said, knowing that others might have not helped him.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin Jimin’s eyes practically lit up when Hyunjin had agreed to venturing off into the forest. After all, Jimin did need to go back if he were to regain his health, he could already feel quite an amount of it had depleted but for now he thought that it’d be best to keep himself quiet. "That’ll be great then, and don’t worry... I promise that I will be there to help you along the way.~" He said, giving Hyunjin a smile that caused his eyes to crinkle a bit in the corners. Jimin let out a soft hum, there was plenty to talk about it Hyunjin wanted to know about tonics. The fairy would chat your ears off of you gave him a chance, which may be surprising as he does come off shy at first.

A soft expression came to his face as he looked at the merman with kind eyes. "It’s okay, believe me.. it really is." He spoke softly in a light and cheery tune, placing a gentle pat on the top of Hyunjin’s head. He knew that the other male was sorry, but to Jimin it seemed like something pretty silly to be sorry over. "Lemme, see..." He hummed out, thinking about where he should start when talking about elixirs and tonics. "Well, they can be made with all kinds of different natural substances... like mushrooms, flowers, special kinds of fruit, shells, a variety of plants, and even certain bugs." He scrunched his nose up at the thought. "I know it sounds icky but it tastes fine and it works wonders for raising your energy levels."

Jimin tried to be as gentle as he could, placing his arms underneath the other’s back for support. Yes, he was tiny, but that was common for fairies, but somehow he was able to keep his balance and help Hyunjin onto his feet. "Okay, you’re fine to walk on your own right? Or do you need my help?" Jimin blinked his eyes as he looked up at the taller merman. He turned his head to look some ways off in the distance, he knew the way and he didn’t think that it was too too far. "Uhm, there’s a bit of walking but I’m sure it should take about forty minutes or less." He said in a small voice. He could see the exposed and toned body of Hyunjin, trying his best not to let his eye stray from the other’s gaze. The faster they got to the forest, the faster that everything would be alright... right?
☵ Hwang Hyunjin 3 years ago
@❧ Park Jimin H “Thank you,” Hyunjin said and looked at the other, feeling so grateful. He leaned slightly into the other’s touch and a small smile was seen on his tired features. “We can try to go to the forest, yes,” Hyunjin nodded, taking a deep breath. He was not sure how well he could walk and how dizzy he would be but he would try his very best to accompany his saviour to his home. Not only because it meant he would feel better but also because he felt safe around Jimin. The other was offering so much more than just safety and he wanted to somehow give it back to him once he was better. Hopefully he could. “Maybe you can tell me more about the tonics too.” It did keep his mind off of the pain in his body.

A soft sigh left Hyunjin’s lips and he pouted a bit. “I know,” he mumbled quietly and he knew if he could have stopped himself from screaming he would, however it still could have gotten them into danger and must have felt horrible to hear him scream like this. “I’m still sorry. And please know it means a lot you did not leave me here.” He could not have blamed the other for it but he was so very glad he had not left him like probably everyone else. “I usually have better control of myself and my body,” Hyunjin tried to explain why he was so prone to apologizing. Under normal circumstances he would have not but those were not normal circumstances. Not at all.

“That would be good, yeah,” Hyunjin said and carefully held onto Jimin. He was quite skinny yet he was also quite tall, therefore he was not sure how well Jimin would be able to support his body. He moved the cloth around his waist so his body was at least a little covered before he took the first few steps and nodded, looking at Jimin. “I can walk, a bit,” he said, slowly kept moving. It always was a new experience to move his legs again. “Is it far from here?” he then asked and looked at the smaller male, mesmerized by how beautiful he looked. The sun was reflecting in the other’s eyes and it made Hyunjin smile. And for a moment he could easily forget the pain in his body. He had been lucky the other had found him.
❧ Park Jimin H 3 years ago
@☵ Hwang Hyunjin Jimin gave the other one firm nod, moving a few strands of Hyunjin’s hair out of his eyes. "You’re welcome, really. I’d do this a million times over if I had to.~" Although he’d rather not go through this again, he was just trying to make a statement. Also Hyunjin probably didn’t want to go through the pain either. "Oh yes! I have plenty of tonics back in the forest. If we go there I can get you some and I’m sure it’ll help to make you feel much much better." Jimin chirped happily, he had to stop himself before he started going on and on about tonics and such. That would be the real reason for Hyunjinms death, being bored to death by his words.

Jimin felt so flustered by all of this thanking he was getting. He really didn’t know what else to say to him other than a simple thank you. The only thing that shaded the two from the bright, blustering sun was the leaves of a palm tree. But still the light peeked through the slits of the leaves causing streaks of light to dance along the skin of Hyunjin and Jimin. "It’s quite alright. You couldn’t help it, that was the only thing you could do really and I didn’t mind it too much." He still wanted to make sure that the other make felt nice and relaxed, not wanting Hyunjin to strain himself too much after the extreme pain he had just went through. Jimin shook his head, trying his hardest not to let his eyes wander from the other’s face. Telling himself over and over in his head not to look down. "You’re okay. Really, stop apologizing for things that you don’t really have control over." It could’ve been because of the sun or just feeling nervous in front of an almost fully merfolk, still either way he could feel his cheeks become warm and there wasn’t a way to hide that. Jimin didn’t want Hyunjin to push himself too hard, he was only asking a simple question out of pure curiosity and concern for the other male. "Uhm, if you need help I can help you. I can assist, you can hold onto me." He smiled as he offered the male a helping hand. Jimin hooked his arms underneath Hyunjin’s, in order to support the other’s body weight so that he wouldn’t fall. He wasn’t the strongest and he also wasn’t the biggest, but his heart was in the right place and he had a big heart that went out to others. "Use my body as support, lean against me as you stand."
☵ Hwang Hyunjin 3 years ago
@❧ Park Jimin H “It means a lot to me,” Hyunjin said and looked at Jimin. He could not imagine that no one had passed by since yesterday and he had been lying here for a while. And yet no one had stopped by to check on him. Eventually he was still just a liability. He his lip and smiled weakly, tilting his head a bit. “Do you have a lot of… ton… tonics?” he had already kind of forgotten the name of it but maybe it was the right word he was using. His eyes were on Jimin and he smiled weakly, taking a shaky breath. It was sad that their first encounter was like this.

“Thank you so much,” Hyunjin mumbled, his body still shaking but the pain had finally gone. “Thank you,” he repeated but he felt like just curling up and sleeping. But he needed to get away from the sun. Either into a place that blocked the sun out or back into the water – that was the suffering with being a merperson. “You saved my life,” he said and looked at the other, the soft kiss making him feel nice and comfortable. “I am sorry I screamed so much.” But it had just hurt so much – now all that lingered was the echo of what had been and was now gone. He grimaced as his body turned and he took a shaky breath, trying his best to relax some more but it was hard. “Sorry, my body turns on land unless it is badly injured.” And as the injury was now gone, it was time for him to turn back. He chewed on his bottom lip and blushed slightly himself. More because he was bruised and beaten up and not up to his usual self than because of him being half . Or more like just slightly covered by some cloth. “I can try,” he said and slowly sat up. It was exhausting but it worked at least. He took a shaky breath, his body protesting right away but he still moved his legs slightly. “I can move them, which is good.” But could he stand? Really carefully he tried his best to get up but damn this was hard. And it hurt.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin Jimin hummed softly, smiling at Hyunjin while he gently patted Hyunjin’s cheek. "Yeah, that’s all really." He was glad that Hyunjin understood, it was actually a lot easier to explain it than he had thought it would be. He nodded his head, it was convenient to have but he hadn’t brought it with him. That actually was the reason why he was collecting shells in the first place, he was going to practice a new recipe that he hadn’t used before. "Mmh, too bad I don’t have any with me right now." Jimin scruffed Hyunjin’s hair a little bit. "It’s alright, I wanted to help you so don’t overthink it." He didn’t want Hyunjin to feel bad and keep dwelling on those thoughts.

Jimin wished that he could’ve had something to block out the piercing screams that left Hyunjin’s mouth. He couldn’t imagine how badly Hyunjin was suffering so it only seemed fair to allow him to yell. He knew how it stings when you have a scraped knee, even the smallest touches on the broken skin give off an extreme amount of pain so that was nothing compared to what Hyunjin was going through. It was really a sad thing to witness since Hyunjin pleaded with Jimin’s to stop, but he knew what was best for Hyunjin and he couldn’t stop until he finished the job.

Jimin’s hands were dirtied with Hyunjin’s blood that had gotten on his hands whilst he was healing him, but it was finally over. No more pain and suffering, just pure relief. He used the back of his hand to carefully wipe away the salty tears that had fell from Hyunjin’s glassy eyes. "Yes, I am done. It’s good as new." Jimin’s had done a good job making Hyunjin’s fin look as if nothing had ever happened, only if you looked closely you could probably see a faint scratch line from where the skin was mended. He smiled, pressing a small kiss to Hyunjin’s forehead, "you’re welcome, it’s all better now." He watched in slight awe as Hyunjin started to shift into a human form before his very eyes. If Hyunjin wasn’t already pretty in his mermaid form, the human form was almost breathtaking. His eyes flickered noticing that his lower half wasn’t exactly covered, immediately he shifted his focus the other way feeling his cheeks beginning to grow warm. He cleared his throat leaning back a little bit against the palm tree. "Do- do you think you can stand? Or at least sit up?" He wanted to know if Hyunjin had any strength, even if it was only the tiniest bit.
☵ Hwang Hyunjin 3 years ago
@❧ Park Jimin H "O-Oh," Hyunjin said, a little surprised at how easy it was to explain. If he had just thought about it for a moment, he probably should have been able to realise it himself but it was always easier to ask. And so he had done exactly that. How embarrassing. "Well, that is convenient to have, yeah," he said, blushing a bit but not too embarrassed about it. It was so easy but yet he had not realised it. Happened, sometimes his knowledge was missing things. "True," he then said and frowned, nodding. He would have died if Jimin had not found him, he feared. And he was really glad he had not. He took a deep breath and tried to relax even though it was not easy - but he trusted Jimin.

Hyunjin was glad that Jimin told him he would not stop - if the other had, he would not have been able to go through this another one. The pain was hard to bear and he heard himself scream. He was trying to not move but he could feel how he was arching his back and screaming in pain. It felt like someone was slowly ripping off his fin even though it was exactly the other way around. He could feel the hot tears on his cheeks, back arched and body trembling in pain. He wanted it to stop so badly - but he knew Jimin couldn't stop until he was done.

And then, finally, the pain slowly subsided. Soft sobs left Hyunjin's lips and he could feel the branches broken in his hands. Slowly he let them go, opening his eyes carefully. "Y-You are done?" he asked, looking at the other and taking a shaky breath, his body so exhausted and tried. "Thank you," he whispered, being able to see his healed fin. And then his body turned. The gills disappeared, being replaced by skin, the soft scales vanishing aside from a handful that shimmered in the sun and his fin turned to two long legs. He was aside from the small, torn cloth he usually kept around his body to cover his most intimate area but even that had suffered under what ever had happened to him. He had been on land for so long already so of course he would turn even without his own doings.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin It didn’t occur to Jimin that Hyunjin most likely didn’t know what a tonic was. He was a merman after all and Jimin was unsure if mermen have tonics, or even make tonics. "Well... a tonic is kind of like a potion, except it can heal you." That wasn’t too hard to explain but he might need to go more into detail if Hyunjin didn’t know what a potion was, if that was necessary. Yes, Jimin really wasn’t planning on finding Hyunjin, but he was glad in a way that he did. "You shouldn’t be sorry, I’m glad that I found you. If I didn’t then who would’ve?" He didn’t want Hyunjin to apologize because he wasn’t being forced to help him, he was doing this out of the kindness of his heart.

He was glad that Hyunjin felt secure in his embrace. Hyunjin was so trusting, Jimin’s intentions weren’t bad so the merman made a good choice to have faith in him. Being the person that he is, he would never accept anything from anybody unless it’s a simple thank you. There really wasn’t much more needed then that. "You’re welcome." He replied softly. It seemed pointless to argue and say that Hyunjin shouldn’t thank so instead of being difficult he just accepted the the thanks.

Jimin gave Hyunjin a small nod, kind of confused as to why he was laughing. There really wasn’t anything funny going on right now. It was literally a life or death situation here. "I- I promise I won’t stop." When he uttered those last words it made him view himself as a cruel person. Who in their right mind would agree to something like that? Maybe it’s just because he has a soft heart and doesn’t like to cause other’s pain. He caught the image of Hyunjin gripping something in his hands out of the corner of his eye but quickly turned away not wanting to see the pain in his eyes. Slowly but steadily the torn skin started to be replaced with new skin, but it seemed like the healing process was taking forever. Jimin tried tuning the pain filled cries and pleas out of his head. He really has never heard anybody scream out as loud as Hyunjin did. It had been a few minutes and finally the new skin was bonded and fully healed. "A- alright, I’m done... and I’m sorry." Jimin didn’t know if Hyunjin had any injuries on the inside but if he did that could only be healed by a tonic or a potion, since to heal with his hands he must touch the wound.

@❧ Park Jimin H The other was probably right, he needed to relax, but Hyunjin found it hard to relax when his body felt this bad. He was used to pain, yes, but this felt just excruciating and hard to relax while feeling it. “A tonic?” he asked confused, not knowing what it meant. The only tonic he knew was some water tonic and that just confused him – but then again he was a merman and not a person that had knowledge of healing. “I’m sorry, you surely did not expect your journey to end up like this,” he mumbled and took a shaky breath, closing his eyes for a moment.

All he could do was trust Jimin. There was no other choice but it felt easy to trust him, he seemed like a trustworthy person. “Okay,” Hyunjin nodded and just hoped he would be able to give him back something, anything. Just some goods, some money or, at least, his friendship and support. Jimin was saving his life. He would have lost his fin at least or his life at most. The bleeding would have taken him out or the sun, depending on what would have been worse. “Thank you,” he said and nodded, knowing that the other was doing a lot for him right now.

Chuckling slightly Hyunjin looked at Jimin. He had made it this far. But he also knew that the worst part would come now. “Just don’t stop. Even if I beg you to,” he said, hoping Jimin really would not stop because he was not sure if he could go through it again. His hands looked for something to hold onto and found a few sticks, not thick enough to give proper leverage but at least something he could hold onto. “I’ll try,” he nodded and took a shaky breath. The second Jimin moved his fin he tried not to bite his lip but that alone already hurt so much, shooting hot burning pain through his body. “,” he cursed quietly and held the sticks tightly. And then Jimin started to heal and the pain was so strong, Hyunjin even forgot how breathing worked. He could hear himself scream and beg, pleading for Jimin to stop, to please please please stop, and hot tears falling down his cheeks. If enemies were somewhere around here, they surely would have heard Hyunjin by now, he was screaming loud and he could not seem to stop himself. His rips had been nothing compared to his fin getting healed.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin Jimin nodded his head, the most important thing was that Hyunjin would stay calm. If he was all worked up it would have a bad opposite affect. "It’s really okay, you can thank me later...... right now you need to just relax." He let out a small hum. Hyunjin said that it got him 'bad' but bad wouldn’t even cover half of it. This was terrible, he had never seen wounds this bad ever. He could feel that Hyunjin’s body was still tender up, obviously still in large amounts of pain. Although that it seemed unimportant for Hyunjin to remember what had happened, it was actually vital for him to regain his memory. It would help greatly. "I really wish I had brought a tonic with me, that way your insides wouldn’t be in much pain." A small sigh left his lips and he continued to soothe Hyunjin’s hair, the other male had already gone through so much pain and he deserved to rest.

"I won’t, I’ll be okay. I swear." He already knew when his power was weakening because there were clear warning signs. Blurred vision, heaving breathing, and if bad comes to worse he would most likely pass out. Since he had leveled up his magic had gotten a little stronger. Since he hadn’t gotten to level three yet, his magic did drain much quicker. Especially when he used it, but desperate times call for desperate measures.... and this was one of those times. Since Hyunjin was a water creature, the should probably got to the water fully so that he could wade in the bank of the falls.

A smile came to Jimin’s face when he saw Hyunjin enjoying his touch, but it quickly disappeared and was replaced with a frown when he heard his words. Yes, it was going to be painful but there really was no other way. It made Jimin sad that he couldn’t help Hyunjin in a less painful way. "Hey, hey. You’ve made it this far and I’m proud of you, you did a good job." Of course this would hurt more than his ribs, his fin was literally hanging onto Hyunjin by a few pieces of skin. Jimin felt uneasy in his stomach, it really made him feel bad when he knew that he was the cause for other’s pain. It’ll all get better in the end though so it’s for Hyunjin’s own good. "Alright, I won’t stop until it’s fully healed..... be brave for me okay?" He gazed into Hyunjin’s eyes for a moment before taking in a deep breath. Slowly and carefully he turned Hyunjin so that he could have better access to the fin. It was a really gory sight, Jimin started moving the fin back in place holding down onto the half that was still attached to Hyunjin. Keeping the fin in an even position he placed his hands on both sides of it, beginning to heal the torn fin of the other. Again, a tingling sensation could be felt on both sides, that’s how he knew that the magic was working.

@〄 Cha Woonggi (that is fine, do not worry!)

Surprised Hyunjin watched the other and blined confused. Oh, well, maybe he had asked the one people then. However upon hearing what was on boat of the pirate ship he did understand why people ignored the other. "A dragon?" he said, blinking surprised and confused at the same time. Now he had heard about dragons, yes, but seen them? No, not yet. "I mean, I can try helping you? However... If it's not here I am sure it is in the dark waters." He frowned.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin (for some reason my replies aren't going through and I didn't realize it. Sorry about this!)

"Mmmmmm... I tried but I was ignored... So... I just walked off on my own." He answered, shrugging. He looked away when the other caught him looking, his face slightly red. "Mmm... That would make sense..." He looked up at the other again and hummed. "Yeah... A pirate ship..." He hummed. He supposed that would be odd to see one here as it was a beautiful location. "Erm... There's a dragon on board I've been set to rescue... But... Finding it is proving to be not so easy..."

@❧ Park Jimin “Thank you,” Hyunjin mumbled, taking a few deep breaths into his lungs. He was so glad he could finally breathe properly again however it was still so damn exhausting and he was tired, craving the sleep so badly. But Jimin was right, he probably should not lose consciousness. “I don’t know. Whatever it was, it got me real bad,” he mumbled and rubbed his eyes, trying to relax but it was hard when his entire body was screaming in pain. It was better than before, at least that was something, but now he could feel where the pain was coming from and right now it was his fin.

“Please do not overdo yourself,” Hyunjin said, looking at the other. He knew he should probably worry more about himself but if Jimin overexerted himself they would not get anywhere as well. Taking a deep breath, the merman nodded slightly. The forest was not too far away and they had water so maybe going there would be a lot safer for Hyunjin at the moment. As long as he could put his body into water regularly he would be safe. Safer than in the open ocean.

Slightly Hyunjin leaned into the gentle touch and took a deep breath, trying to relax. It was gentle and soft and he just wished the pain would stop. “The next best way to help me would be putting me out of my misery and I would prefer this not to happen,” the merman said and shook his head. He wanted to live, not die. He took a deep breath and nodded then, seeing the fin. “I know. It’s going to hurt worse than the ribs,” he said and bit his lip. The other way would be cutting off the last strands that were still holding his fin but he needed it. Otherwise swimming would almost be impossible and he could not risk it. “It’s okay. I’ll be okay,” he said and bit his lip, looking at Jimin. “I’ll probably just scream.” Loud, probably. He had already been in pain before but his fin looked so much worse. “Don’t stop, even if I beg you too, okay?” he said and looked at the beautiful fairy elf in front of him who had been so very kind to help him. “We should do it now, shouldn’t we?” The longer they waited, the more scared Hyunjin got his fin might just fall off.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin "I know, I know. It’s okay, I’m here and I’m not going to give up on you." Jimin continued to try and soothe Hyunjin, telling him that everything was going to be all right. But was it really going to be okay? There was still doubt in his heart, maybe he was actually trying to reassure himself also. A soft hum left his lips, really there were so many possibilities that almost anything could’ve happened to Hyunjin. "I’m not too sure." Jimin really didn’t have an explanation to back up his suggestion, he was just trying to spark up any memory that could help them find out what had happened. "Hey, hey. It’s okay, just relax." Speaking in a soft tone, seeing that he was still in a great amount of pain. He really didn’t want to push Hyunjin any further than he could handle.

"Mm hm, but first we have to make sure you’re all better before we can go anywhere." Jimin could never imagine how much pain that he was in, god just the sight was so heartbreaking. Using his hand to move a few strands of Hyunjin’s hair back he nodded his head. He remembered that in the past, his health wasn’t very good when he had just left the forest. Now it was most likely depleting faster but he knew that it’d be worth it. "I’ll be alright, don’t worry about me. You’re the one that you should be worried about." What more was he supposed to do? He already was doing the best he could, he just hoped that it would be enough.

A sigh of relief left Jimin’s lips as he could now see that his breathing had steadied out, and was no longer labored and painful. He smiled softly at Hyunjin as he wiped away the salty tears that had left his eyes. "I know, I just wish there was a less painful way to help you." Thankfully, Jimin was one of the few fairy elves that could heal with their hands, also being able to heal with potions and elixirs. Taking a glance at Hyunjin’s fin a small frown came to his face. The fin was almost falling off of his body, of course he could heal him but he’d have to go through excruciating pain. "I know I can heal you, but it will be very painful....." He knew the possibilities and there really was one option for Hyunjin. "Y- you may pass out, but I promise you that it will be healed." It was all really up to Hyunjin for whether or not he’d really want to go through this. Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better, this was one of those cases. It would probably be better if Hyunjin did pass out though, that way he wouldn’t have to be conscious for the pain that came with the healing.

@〄 Cha Woonggi "That is... not exactly clever. Did you at least ask people or so?" Hyunjin frowned and tilted his head a bit, watching at the other. He could see how the human was staring at him and chuckled as he got dressed. "Well, yeah, I linger in the water." He winked at him and then tilted his head, listening to his words. "Oh?" He blinked a little confused. "I havent see a pirate ship around here so... who do you have to save?" He sat down in the sand with the human, looking curiously at him.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin Woonggi puffed out his cheeks. "I noticed... I wasn't told where to go specifically... So... I was trying to find the place on my own..." He sighed. He hoped he hadn't bothered the other too much by needing to be rescued. Woonggi sat on the beach as his muscles started to relax. He looked over at the other and noticed only a cloth covered his manhood. "I'm really lucky you were here... I owe you one..." He watched the other pull on a shirt and shorts. "Oh... I have to find a pirate ship... Apparently there's a creature on board that I need to save... I think I'm at the wrong place though..."
☵ Hwang Hyunjin 3 years ago
@〄 Cha Woonggi "You definitely are, you were about to ing drown," Hyunjin said and huffed, slowly making it back to the beach. He had just wanted some alone time but at least he had been here to help the other. "Finish your tasks?" he asked and made it to the beach with the other. He turned to his human form, a cloth around his hips covering his manhood but everything else was pretty . He could not wear clothes as a merman, that was bothersome. "Sure, you were lucky I was here," he said and nodded, grabbing a long shirt from his bag he was having around him, putting it over as well as some shorts. They were wet but honestly Hyunjin could not care less. "What kind of tasks?" he then asked curiously.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin Woonggi did his best to hold his breath as he sank further beneath the water. Though it was crystal blue, his eyes were squeezed shut. Not wanting to see any potential dangers around him. He had no idea how far under he'd gone. But his lungs were burning and he needed to breathe. His eyes flew open when someone's lips touched his own, finding himself able to breath again but still stiff. He finally answered when he gathered his thoughts. "I... Uh... First of all... I think I'm in the wrong place... Second... I was just trying to finish my tasks..." He answered, sighing. "But uh... My legs cramped up and I basically just went really stiff..." He was really relieved that the other was around. "Thank you for rescuing me... I really appreciate it..."

@〄 Cha Woonggi All Hyunjin had been doing was swimming around, enjoying the soft water and the warm air. He liked it, out in the open but close enough that he could see the land. It felt like he was positively able to do whatever he wanted without being disturbed. Not being disturbed until someone suddenly yelped, calling out and Hyunjin flinched, being dragged out of his alone time and the silence broken. His fin flicked a bit before he saw the person, disappearing in the water and Hyunjin did the same, swimming towards the sinking young man. When he reached him, Hyunjin could see that he was running out of air and even if they managed to get up fast, he would still breathe in the water around him. Hurriedly the merman cupped the drowning man's cheeks, kissing him shortly, giving him the ability to breathe under water for a short amount of time before he put his arms around him, swimming towards the surface. "It's gonna be alirght," he said, swimming towards the beach. "Why the heck are you this far into the ocean?"
☵ Hwang Hyunjin 3 years ago
@❧ Park Jimin “I’m trying,” Hyunjin mumbled and rubbed his eyes, looking at Jimin. But it was so hard, everything hurt and all he wanted was it to stop. To stop hurting because even breathing was painful. “Would not surprise me. I sometimes climb.” He frowned and closed his eyes. But he could not even tell what his wounds looked like, if it fit the pattern. “Maybe?” he his lips. But he was not sure. “Why would anyone attack me but then leave me behind? I had nothing on me.” If they were just out for the kill, then why was he still alive. He grimaced, his head hurting only more. At least he was not alone. At least he had someone with him who was trying so hard to help him.

“Return for the forest,” Hyunjin mumbled and nodded. He remembered how beautiful the forest was and how much he loved going there ever since he had gotten his own legs and hands on some clothes. However he had not yet been there in a while so maybe he should go sooner or later again. He was not sure if he could go back into the water anytime soon, he felt so exhausted. “Just make sure you are alright.” He would not want Jimin to suffer because of him. He wasn’t dying so that was already a big plus.

When he was finally able to breathe without pain he the air into his lungs, his body still in so much pain but at least his rips were okay now. He could still feel tears on his cheeks and then slowly shook his head. “Y-you are just helping me,” he mumbled and his dry lips, looking at the other. Oh no, right, his fin. He looked down at it and grimaced. It was halfway severed, this way he could not turn to a human nor swim but healing this would be ing painful. “Are you sure you can fix that?” Because it looked bad, really bad. “Please do not exert yourself.” It would be painful. Jimin would probably have to put the fin back together and, , it would hurt like and Hyunjin would probably scream. Very loudly.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin Woonggi was determined to level up. But he hadn't realized he was on the wrong beach but he was determined to find a pirate ship. So... Being as stubborn as he is... He managed to swim out rather far. But a few miles from the shore he got tired and his muscles got stiff from the cold water. Even the gentlest wave knocked him backwards, unable to keep himself going forwards. Realizing he was sinking as he wasn't move down. "Help me!" Was all he managed to get out before he went under the surface, his legs cramped and stiff and his arms tired.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin "Mm, that’s okay but you must find a way to keep yourself awake." Jimin hummed, a little interested in Hyunjin’s answers. He knew that it wasn’t going to be easy for the other, but at least he can remember some things. "Fell? You mean like from high up?" That answer wasn’t exactly what Jimin was looking for. Hyunjin was a sea creature, wasn’t he? It didn’t really make sense if he had fallen because there weren’t many things to support his theory. The beach was completely flat, except for a few palm trees here and there. "Maybe you were hunting food and you got attacked?" Jimin was trying to help him spark any memories. Even the slightest one could help. "Don’t worry, I’m here to help you."

Looking down at Hyunjin Jimin was being cautious with every move he made now. He knew that once the other was all healed up everything was going to be okay and he could help him with whatever he needed afterwards. Jimin kept telling himself that it would be okay even if he didn’t exactly believe it himself. All of Hyunjin’s memories should return to him eventually, but it still lingered in his mind as to what had happened to put this poor creature in this state. "No, not very. It does drain a little of my energy but I can return to the forest to recharge later. I’m glad you’re not dying either."

The whimpers and whines that came out of Hyunjin were almost to sad to bare. Jimin wanted to stop but he couldn’t if the other was going to be okay. Right now he felt like a monster for hurting this poor creature looking down at the pitiful sight below him. "I- I can’t, I’m sorry." Jimin whispered the last part of his sentence, not complying with Hyunjin’s plea. Soon the pain would be taken over with a feeling of relief. He hated to be doing this to an innocent person, especially when he saw the tears it almost made him cry himself. He swallowed hard knowing he had to keep a stiff upper lip. Jimin nodded, in scrunching his face a bit. "I’m sorry, I feel so bad for hurting you." He lifted his hands to gently wipe away Hyunjin’s tears wanting to pull him into a hug, but resisting. "You’re welcome, but I still have to heal your fin."
