@❧ Park Jimin Hyunjin blinked surprised when he felt Jimin this close and it made his cheeks dust over in pink though he did not say anything. It felt nice and it made him relax some more, a soft smile on his lips. "Let me know if you need anything, okay?" he said as he kept walking, slowly but carefully. His feet still hurt after all, it was no surprise though. Not after Jimin had had to fix his fin. It was properly connected to his body again though it was still an injury after all.

"Yes, thank you," he said and he kept moving with Jimin, taking shaky and deep breaths to relax some more. He was tired and exhausted though the thought of the water did keep him going. And Jimin's soft and beautiful voice did help some. He shook his head as he walked with him through the nature that was clearly not a path anymore. "No, I can turn whenever I want though it is stupid to stay on land and then turn," he chuckled. "I can stay in my human form in water too though if I am about to drown I turn. It's like an instinct," he said and his lips, looking at Jimin. "I can wash myself in a lake as a human but I can turn whenever I want."

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin A deep breath was taken in through the elf's mouth, slowly being released through his nostrils. The fresh air, it felt good, it was clean. "I think I'm okay to go." A smile shone brightly on his lips, taking his spot at Hyunjin's side to loop his arm around the merman's middle; supporting his body for the amount of time that he needed.

"Lean on me and we can go slow again, help each other, yeah?" Jimin asked, searching for Hyunjin's pretty, glossy orbs. He could tell that this new found male and he were going places—figuratively and physically—he could feel it. "Is it, only when water touches your scales that your body changes into a merman form?" He questioned as they began to walk along, going in the direction of the water sound though it wasn't on the path, making the two need to take a shortcut off of the pathway.

@❧ Park Jimin Quietly Hyunjin watched the other for a bit, a small smile on his lips. Finally they were surrounded by something that at least did one of them some good. That would make at least one of them feel better and fill them with more energy. He nodded weakly. "I could be worse," he promised the other. There was nothing Jimin could do right now anyways - he had already healed most of his wounds and as soon as Hyunjin would be able to bath himself in some proper water, he would be okay. He would definitely survive. "Take as long as you need. You used a lot of energy."

Hearing that Jimin too could hear the water flowing made Hyunjin relax and he nodded, a small smile on his lips. "Finally," he mumbled, voice hoarse from how dry it was. He could see the other was still not entirely fit but he would be. It would take some time until they finally managed to get to the water but at least it was not too far away. "Let's go?" he asked the elf, not wanting to hurry him if he needed another moment to rest and collect himself. After all Jimin had given him some time to relax as well. He leaned onto the tree, still feeling tired and exhausted but soon he would be able to throw himself into the water or at least put his legs into the cool liquid - or at least he hoped so.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin "Yeah… yeah I'm good," the smaller replied, sounding a bit breathless even though he had barely done anything. Leaning his back against a tree adjacent to the one Hyunjin was being supported on, he slowly slid down, bending his knees and crouching, sitting on the soft moss which grew around the bottom of the tree's trunk. He closed his eyes, though only for a brief moment, tilting his head back so that it was being held against the tree also. "I can move- I just think I need a moment. Though, are 'you'.. alright?" Jimin asked, peeking an eye opened to look up at Hyunjin.

When the merman spoke, the fairy furrowed his brows in concentration, listening in an attempt to hear into the forest; and there was indeed some type of water which could be heard. "I hear it too. If we can hear it then it shouldn't be that far!" Scrambling up to his feet, Jimin blinked away the dizziness which was trying to settle in on him. "It's easy, we just have to follow the sound of the water." With a bright smile and a smidgen of excitement mixed with confidence wrapped into his features, the elf extended a hand to Hyunjin. They would make; after all, they had made it this far, so what was stopping them now?

@❧ Park Jimin H "I hope you are right," Hyunjin mumbled once he sat Jimin down, making sure the other was in the forest and able to recharge some. Being here meant Jimin would recover faster, right? He his lips, almost missing the warmth he had felt from the other's body. It had been soft and gentle, not as painful and exhausting as the sun's rays throwing heat at his already worn out skin. He must look horrible, like an overgrilled piece of meat or something. A pain to the eye - he wished Jimin had met him when he had been good and beautiful and not looking like a disgusting piece of . Nothing he could change now. "You sure you can move?"

He held onto the tree and smiled weakly, trying to striaghten his back but it was hard. He carefully put some more water to his scales but it was barely helping. The shadow of the forest was, however, helping him a bit, taking the hot sun away and he listened for a long moment, blinking. "I think I can hear water?" Maybe a creek? A small source of water? Maybe he could put his feet in, that would already help. He then looked at Jimin and smiled gently. "We can help each other, yes." He was already here with Jimin and he would not leave his side. The elf had saved his life and it was his duty to keep him safe and sound until he was at least home. He his dry lips and started walking, slowly and carefully. His feet hurt with the sticks and stones under it but it could have been worse. At least he still had both of his feet, thanks to Jimin's help.

@☵ Hwang Hyunjin A small whine of objection left Jimin's closed lips though he did as he was told, struggling to free himself would just simply make it harder for the both of them; so, looping his arms around Hyunjin's neck, he clung close to the taller male. When coming closer to the forest, the smaller could already feel a change in the atmosphere and he didn't feel as weary as he was before, though still weak. "Hyunjin- really.. I- I'm pretty sure I'll be able to walk now.." he spoke up in a soft voice, but his actions contradicted with his words for he made no attempt to move, simply leaning his head to rest against the merman's shoulder.

"Y- yeah.. but please, I'll be okay. Wet your scales and and place me on my feet and you can lean on me." The shorter's eyes seemed to sparkle a bit, looking up at Hyunjin with his rounded orbs. And what the other male said next warmed his heart and made him feel wanted for once. 'You are no burden.' It was silly that words as simple as those could have such a great affect on one; and yet they did. "No, it's really not far from here, but let me lead now. You're already weakening and my health will begin to regenerate itself for we are right in the forest." Internally wincing, the fairy elf's face pulled into a pout, still feeling guilty for Hyunjin wasn't okay—no matter how much he tried to convince him—he could clearly see it. "We can help each other?"

@❧ Park Jimin H "Just hold onto me," Hyunjin said as he carefully carried Jimin to the forest. He was glad the moment the trees were casting the shadows over them and he took a shaky breath. "We can't have the both of us break down or faint." They would be without protection then and that was dangerous, especially out here. He took a deep breath and tried to relax a bit, making his body calm down. The injuries hurt and he was tired but he would be able to deal with it, somehow. Soon he could rest properly once they reached Jimin's cabin.

"I know I'm not okay but you aren't heavy and you used a lot of energy to help me too," Hyunjin said, his legs shaking a bit. Whenever he had been in his merman form for a long time it was hard to walk afterwards. And now that he was injured it wasn't easy, but he rather inconvenienced himself a little bit than have Jimin lose consciousness. He could see how the other seemed exhausted and maybe even slowly losing his energy too. But now they were in the forest and he hoped that would help. "You are no gurdrn," he said gently then, wanting to reassure Jimin. After all he had saved his life he was his saviour. "Is it far?" he asked, having to support himself on the trees again and again, his body weak and the sunburns aching too. It was painful but at least he was alive and that was all that counted. Alive thanks to this cute elf next to him.
❖ Choi San H 3 years ago
Still with his mind made to leave this place at his fastest arising opportunity, San ran his eyes through the map reviewing each one of his pre-planned steps for completing level three. It was currently nighttime and he had made his way all through the dark land territory and past the border over to what belonged to the guardians.
There was a small nervous feeling in the pit of his stomach since he did not know that much about the guardians and what they'd do to him if they found him doing this, but that was by far overshadowed by his determination to complete the damn quests and get the out of here.

With a sharp inhale, he took a couple more confident steps, eyes darting between all the trees and plants in hopes there was really no one around. Hiding a little between one of the taller trees, he leaned his back against it and slid the heavy spellbook out of his bag. He was not experienced in magic and he had yet to attempt any of his 'demonic abilities'. San had considered trying them out at the small shed he'd been staying in for the last few days, but decided against it realizing his control at the moment was about zero and the shed was fully made of wood including all the furniture in it, if he were to burn it down he would have to search for a new place and who knows when he'd find a new one or if it would be, at the very least, as mediocre as his current one was.
He wasted no time finding the spell which he'd already bookmarked earlier and ran his eyes through the words he'd already read as well. Clearing his throat quietly, he pointed his hand towards some of the leaves on the floor following closely to the instructions given to the book and unsure of how 'dramatic' his movements should be his mind recurring to movies and other forms of media for any hint. The demonic creatures were supposed to have some type of fire affinity and he just hoped that would work on his favor otherwise, he just knew he'd fail harshly at it. He tried to pronounce the enchantment in the book to the best of his abilities and felt something burning at the tip of his fingers, his eyebrows raising a little at the thought that he was managing to actually do it.
He carefully repeated the words and gestures again with a bit more focus and intensity not feeling as stupid as he had the first time and he saw a small flame hit the greenery beneath his feet. The small was pretty small and extinguished far too quickly so he forced himself to focus even more and finally, at his third attempt, there was a bigger flame that started to slowly take over the leaves of the guardian territory.

Now the quest also mentioned burning as much of it as he possibly could and he wasn't sure if they would be counting meters or something of the kind, but either way, he'd prefer to get it done at his first attempt so he wouldn't have to repeat the sneaking around and the whole 'magic show'.
Opening his book on the second page he'd marked, he read the enchantment for enlarging a fire. Once more he had to pronounce it three times, watching the fire growing stronger and warmer each one of them and being forced to take a few steps back to keep out of its reach. Content with the result of his work as he watched the flames start to take over the elven forest, he slid the book back in his bag and smoothly flew himself back right from where he'd came from and back to his small cottage, keeping an eye on the quest updates to make sure he'd gotten it done.
