royals

prince/ss:

self-explanatory role. check the family tree room to determine availability. crown prince/ss positions are not open at the moment. unconventional personas are allowed, but do keep in mind that it should be limited to a certain extent. (4 positions open for now for each nation)

concubine/:
consort

the secondary spouses of the throne. historically a female position, but open to both genders. it is canon that buyeo and guri currently have a king while saro has a queen. they are of lower rank than the first spouse of the king/queen. children of consorts are still considered royals but nor prioritized as much as the primary spouse's children. (3 positions open for each nation) characters can also be a consort/concubine of the kingdom's head royal's first spouse 

nobles

government:
official

ministers, magistrates, royal advisors, governors, etc. most face claims will be too young to fill this role so the option to be a noble is to be a child or apprentince of a noble. your character will be that person's "plus one" and it will be canon that they too will be on the island. if you are a child of a noble family, it can be canon that your entire family is here. 

treasured
scholar,
artisan,
poet

characters of 26 years or olders can fulfill this role. they will most likely have a celebrity type status resulting in their ability to earn a spot on the island.

naeshi

officials to the royals on the island. you may know of them as eunuchs but in this roleplay, naeshis will not have been castrated. however, their purpose is to serve the royals above anything else and being caught in a relationship will result in punishment. naeshi characters under 30 years will be naeshis of lower status that serve the current royals on the island. ( three head positions open. if wanted, note your desire to claim in your app.) 

commoners

palace maid

most will have skills in the culinary and medicinal field. some maids may serve just one figure /family or be a general palace maid. along with the guards, they’ll know the way around the island and the palace the best. their purpose is to serve the royals above anything else and being caught in a relationship will result in punishment. palace guard

most will have skills in weaponry and equestrian. some guards may serve just one figure/family or be a general palace guard. along with the maids, they’ll know the way around the island and the palace the best. ( head palace guard: open check skeletons )

gisaeng

highly trained artisans who were entertainers of the upper class with music, conversation, and poetry. if taking on this role, your character must be a “plus one” of either a nobel or royal (can be plotted or npc-ed). historically a female position, but open to both genders.
