information

where do the nation names come from?

sipje , guri, and saro are based off the three kingdoms of korea baekje, goguryeo, and silla in that order respectively. while guri and saro are past names of their respective kingdoms, buyeo was the name of an older korean kingdom adopted into the rp. the reason for implementing new names was because this rp is not historically accurate and don’t want users to associate the history we create here to reality.

how different are the rp kingdoms to the actul kingdoms they are based off?

baekje, goguryeo, and silla were very distinct kingdoms with different cultures and language accents. the three shared the language of an older version of korean but had such different vocabulary to the point where comprehension was a struggle (think modern day korean accents and their differences) to overcome these barriers for rping purposes we are making it canon that the three kingdoms have their own cultural accents but will share a common accent to communicate across countries. with that said, everything else known about these kingdoms will remain remotely the same in terms of culture, society, etc. the traditional clothing (hanbok) has changed numerously throughout time and also different for each nation, but for dp/aesthetic purposes any forms of hanbok you find your face claim in will work.

is there any form of communication with the mainland?

a small boat will arrive on the island every other week to deliver food and other needs while also collecting any letters, news that must be delivered back.

is there a limitation in uality in this roleplay?

nope! i’m no historian but certain researchers have stated that uality wasn’t just limited to a relationship between a man and a woman in ancient korea. however, it wasn’t common, and if existed, the relationships were usually not made public.

are pre-established relationships allowed?

of course! if i don’t see at least 2 star crossed lover couples i’m closing this rp. if you have questions on if your connection ideas would work in the rp, please feel free to just ask an admin!

are npc kids allowed? can i fill an npc role?

Yes! Just note their existence in your character’s profile. Do not ualize them in any shape or form. Pregnancies are allowed but all plots must obtain approval from an admin. currently there is a limit on how many npc kids we are allowing (3/10) so please talk to an admin if you are interested! theoretically all npc roles are up for grabs if your character’s story makes sense. if an npc character stated by the rp interests you, please talk to an admin!
