She balled her bound hands into fists as she endured the pain, this is just a beginning of a torture, those beatings she had earlier are just her warm ups. When she didn't believed her, she dropped her rookie hunter personality as the way of her expression changed into a more serious approach, when the leader ordered her subjects to kill her. "You misunderstood me."
Seulgi draws a small blade from her sleeves and cuts off the bind from her hands to free herself but she didn't move nor prepare to fight the wolves. Rather she stand still with no fear of getting mauled by dozens of them, the hybrid looked at the Lan leader with courage to face her. Those pain she received by them slowly numbed, looking at the leader's eyes intently. "Is this a general way of treating hybrids? Every wolves doesn't like the idea of us existing in this world." She told Irene, "It is true we were scientifically manufactured to kill you all, we are just a device for killing your kind." Then she looked at the wolves growling towards her. "Not all hybrids are just what you think of them."
"I come here alone, no back-ups, no reinforcements coming. You're lucky to see an unarmed Qinxiang underboss getting beat up by your soldiers, burning her side for the pleasure of seeing her suffer. But I'm not giving you the satisfaction to see me begging for my life because..." She sniffed and caught something intriguing from the Lan leader, Seulgi smirked a bit, "...I just know you have a very, very intriguing scent that no one in your pack could smell. Should I tell them what that is?"
@混血┊kang seulgi ʰ irene did not feel intimidated, even if her dark cat eyes kept burning holes in the lan leader. when she even had some nerve to announce that she was hunting for food, irene immediately understood that the other meant the wolves. she looked all over the female, still hanging from the ceiling and hummed. her arms crossed on her chest, hanging right below her bosom.
' and you think you can come and hunt on our border?' the female looked at there general, nodding head at the solder next to the hybrid. 'let me tell you one thing. out of them all, we are the worst ones. you know what makes us different? other's are acting on emotions, letting them lead them. but us. ' she smiled a bit. 'we simply do not feel.' the soldier began to burn her skin, pressing the glowing red metal against seulgi's side. 'you expect us to believe that you are here to hunt for food? hybrid. ' she spat out, her emotionless eyes still staring into seulgi's, almost looking into her soul with her aquamarine eyes. 'kill her.' irene coldly ordered her subjects and the soldiers started to shift into huge white wolves.
@☁┊lan irene ᵃ It took several beatings for the hybrid to fall unconscious but she isn't going to back down, when her nose picks up a strong scent of formidability, she knew that the leader of Lan has come to visit a hybrid like her. Seulgi was still hanged up from the ceiling as her both arms were tied up, her cat eyes slowly looked at the Lan leader's piercing ones. It is true, she's emotionless, nothingness in her eyes unlike the hybrid's stone faced look. The hybrid curled the corners of her bloody lips, "By the looks of the people here, you're the head of Gusu Lan." She greeted as she disregard her question, not giving her name yet.
Gusu Lan is the easiest approach Seulgi could think off, they are the soft ones and easy to be infiltrated, the Lan has no interest of war or violence even though hybrids and hunters are still off the hook to eliminate them. "Look, I know it is unexpected but it is an honor to meet you, seeing me like this feels embarrassing." the hybrid still pulled off a chuckle before looking back at the Lan leader. "Hear me out, okay? I am just hunting for food, for my master, if I didn't got home by midnight, I'll be dead. Hanging on a noose of a tree." She still kept her rookie hunter personality before the leader.
Many knows that Qinxiang are ruthless towards wolves like them, and guess who was born from Qinxiang? Seulgi is. That was decades ago, Qinxiang is the first and foremost the origin of hybrids, her father made past mistakes by almost wiping an entire countryside before Seulgi even born. Now he's making up to her to do the same way but she is different, getting judged by wolves and humans because of what she is an understatement. Now she wanted to convinced one pack of wolves that not all hybrids are used for killing wolves.
@混血┊kang seulgi ʰ the hybrids was a major threat to the wolf world. the scientists had created those artificial hunters years ago. irene knew about them, years ago they had invaded the border of gusu and killed innocent wolf hunters. her cousin was one of them. they were ruthless, blood thirsty and they won't stop until all fo the wolves were gone. she knew well what kind of threat they were, mixed with the virus, created by the scientists in qinxiang.
she was sitting in the office, signing some documents. not only she was the well respected leader of gusu pack, she was also a well recognised architect, being one of the best in her field. blame it on irene's ability to focus well and reach the target, no matter what it took. what surprised her, was her assistant suddenly running inside as if her life depended on it. the leader raised up her hand to make the other stop, letting her breathe properly. yet those words, rolling out of assistant's mouth, made her alarmed. of course, due to her disability to feel pain, she was not as surprised as the second in command behind her. irene raised her hand to stop Krystal from moving. 'I will deal it with myself.' the leader announced and got her jacket, strutting outside of her house.
her body guards took the leader to the outskirts of gusu. the maintains. there was a hidden base of the soldiers, led by her general. when they arrived at the base, all of the soldiers welcomed their leader whole heartedly. irene did not smile at them, she bowed her head politely, welcoming everyone. the leader of the group, came to her. 'show me the hybrid.' the female suddenly said and the general did not comply, she brought the alpha to the person. as irene stepped closer, the soldiers guarding the other stepped to the sides to allow the alpha get closer., she eyed the female hanging from the ceiling. she was taller than Irene, more masculine and her dark eyes would have intimidated anyone, but irene. irene crossed arms on her chest, her long hair perfectly falling against her curves as she eyed the other. 'what is your name.' her cold voice broke the silence.
@☁┊lan irene ᵃ As a plan to get to the Lan leader, Seulgi gets off from her seat from Qinxiang and went to border of Gusu Lan where she poses as a rogue hunter. She told her men to stay down and she will go alone as she wears disguise, the hybrid had enough getting stereotyped as a hybrid that they are perfect weapons for wolves and wolves feared them, she hated that idea. Every since she was raised by scientists, she could smell their foul stench even though they wear expensive perfumes, it is a good thing she has hypersensitive sense of smell, it was never a curse rather it is a blessing for the hybrid.
"Tell us why are you here?!"
Seulgi groans as a soldier punched her face again, a pack of Lan wolves caught her and rounded her up, of course she couldn't kill them when they are flocking her, so she decided to give up. Then they dragged her in one of their camps, a soldier asked her a question why she's within their border but Seulgi acted like a newbie hunter, "Because I have to! Or else my master will kill me if I didn't get her some meat, I didn't know there's a border there!" She answered with frustration as her arms were tied over her head and her weapons were discarded but she got slapped by another Lan soldier, "We know you're up to something, we can smell your stinking scent, hybrid. You're here to kill another one of us!" Then they growled. "I can smell better than your crooked noses." She teased before she got another punch on her abdomen, she groaned once again and fell down. It has been already an hour when she got dragged into their camp, got beat up many times and coughed a lot of blood many times already. "Don't make us do that again, ing hybrid!" Then she kicked the hybrid which added her pain more.
