Xuan Lu let out a soft chuckle when Jisoo booped her finger against her nose. She held onto Jisoo hand and walked towards the table with the alpha. She sat down while she looked at Jisoo. "You better keep it that promise! If not... I will... add lots of chillies and make you run the toilet then you will rest!" she let out a soft chuckle before squeezing the other hand tightly, to show that she mean it.
Xuan Lu let out a proud grin and reached out to pat Jisoo's head slightly with her free hand. "And I am really proud that you say that! We can spend time together~ I should find someone in the Jiang Pack to spy on you! To make sure you are resting and eating!" she nods and thinks a little before letting out a soft "ah". "I can always send food back! I recently met one of our food delivery ladies, she is from Gusu Lan! Im sure she can send them to Yunmeng Jiang!" she chuckles and gently pushes the bowl of warm soup to Jisoo. "Drink up~ You need something warm in your tummy! Especially when you skip meals often! I make some dessert too, and they are in the shapes of rabbits! Really cute!"
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ Xuan Lu nods happily, she definitely agreed with Yeri on that dream. That's the reason why she has the restaurant in the first place. "And they will have a meal right here! And it will be on me! Then wolves and humans can be friends and come here, talking about the different cultures. Just like you and me! That will be really nice." She grins widely and takes out a small can of soda for herself and Yeri. "Let's cheers!"
Jisoo wrapped her arms around Xuan Lu and indulged in the hug for a few moments, that remaining tension easily slipping off of her shoulders. She could relax here. "Thank you," Jisoo mumbled, but then she laughed quietly. She looked tired because she was tired, but she didn't want Xuan Lu to be worried about her. She booped the human's nose with her forefinger, giving her hand a gentle squeeze when she was led toward the table. "Don't worry, Lulu. I'm okay, I've just been doing some important pack work lately. It needs a lot of my attention, I can't just walk away from it. I'll sleep a lot later to make up for it..."
She gracefully took a seat, still holding onto Xuan Lu's hand. "...I try not to skip meals, I just forget sometimes." She smiled. "Lunch with you is always a highlight, I'm sure I don't have to rush off immediately. I can postpone returning to work for a bit."
@人┊xuan lu yeri smiled upon hearing the human's positive words, a ray of hope for two races, she could've asked more. "thank you foe your kindness, xuan lu. i will never forget it, i rarely meet people with that kind of attitude towards this matter, they don't know what real peace means if they just put it to actions just like you." the lan beta told her as she looked at the foods that was almost done as yeri finished her meal, "maybe one day, humans and wolves will have a feast together with no grudges at each other. i want to see it for myself." she chuckled.
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ Xuan Lu frowns a little as she heard what Yeri said. Isn't that similar to humans too? But why would wolves fight each other? That is always a question that Xuan lu wanted to ask, she looked at Yeri and let out a little smile, gently patting Yeri's head softly. "I...I can't say for the packs or other humans, but over here in my restaurant, there is always peace between the wolves and humans, you can definitely bring your human friends or wolf friends here! I will cook a yummy meal for the both of you!"
@人┊xuan lu she didn't want to drag the human to her wolf problems but since she helped her a lot this day, maybe it wouldn't hurt if yeri would tell her. she faced the human and takes a deep breath, "well... every packs have different beliefs and that's the reason why, some packs wanted to kill humans and some packs wanted to kill their own kind, that sort of things." she sighs and hugs herself with her knees while sitting on a chair.
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ She nods once again at Yeri's question but what the other said to make her looked up towards the lan wolf. She blinks when she heard what the other said, staring at her, finding it really weird that the wolves are not making peace with each other even. She frowns slightly before looking at Yeri, "What do you mean by that.. Are you okay to tell me more?"
@人┊xuan lu "peace between wolves and humans?" she looked up at the other woman and she slowly frowns, "you believe in making peace with humans and wolves? our pack and the other ones weren't into agreement to become one, that's what I wanted to make peace for now." yeri looked down and sighs. "i wanted to get all the packs together to act as one but..." then she slowly holds her shoulder, where there are scars on her back from getting tortured by other packs. "not all of them would agree."
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ Xuan lu nods happily and blinks when she heard what she said. She does remember seeing her cousin losing her mother to a wolf, that must be the bad wolves Yeri talks about. She hums softly and blinks, holding onto a little snack as she started to nips onto it. "Ah! I believe in peace between humans and wolves! Not all wolves are bad! That's why we have chunan, a place for both wolves and humans to learn from each other! Oh... I also had a wolf friend last time and we were really close... but she went missing... I hope to find her one day!"
@人┊xuan lu "ah well, i see you like wolves like us but not all wolves are friendly." she rubbed her nape and smiles a bit, she experienced lots of encounters of rogue wolves during her hunting days. when xuan lu complimented the young beta, she smiled and flustered once again, "thank you but how come you are so excited to see wolves like us? you aren't scared either... i don't understand a bit." she rubbed her nape and looks back at the human.
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ Xuan Lu was a little too excited, maybe it's because of her past, she always feels at home whenever she sees a wolf, especially when she met a wolf that is nice and friendly like Jisoo and Yeri. She nods excitedly, a place with lots of mountains and spring sounds really beautiful. "Ah... I hope the packs allow us humans to go in to walk around one day, the mountain surrounding sounds really beautiful!" She listens about her rank and smiles brightly, "Woah! So you are a hunter! That sounds really hard... Thank you, Yeri for bringing food back home for the pack! Oh! If you want, I can cook something and you can bring them back too~ You don't need to be a strong one! Fast one is really really cool!"
@人┊xuan lu she gasped and closed her eyes as the human goes ballistic in a matter of seconds, "please don't call the hunters! i beg you-- huh?" yeri was about to beg when the other starts to talk about Gusu Lan's famous landmarks, "a-ah yeah, they are all mountains and w-we have our own spring." she answered and looked at the human indifferently as she starts talking about meeting another wolf as she met a wolf before her. but when she was asked what rank she is as a wolf she looked down a bit, "i-i'm one of the fast ones... a hunter for foods, providing our pack with foods... not really one of the strong ones..." yeri muttered a bit and fiddled her fingers.
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ She chuckles and stares at her when Yeri said that she has something to be truthful about. Her eyes widen in excitement when she heard that the other is a wolf from Gusu Lan. She immediately sat up, feeling really excited. "Oh oh oh! Gusu Lan! Is it the one with lots of mountains? Or is it the one with the water?" she mumbles softly and grins brightly before holding onto Yeri's hand. "I'm really happy to meet another wolf! I know Jisoo from Yunmeng Jiang and she comes and eats often! Are you a soldier or a scholar or.. what do they call.." she frowns as she tried to remember what she reads about wolves. "Oh! I am the leader of Chunan! So if there is anyone who bullies you or if any hunters come here... I will fight them and make sure they don't destroy the peace here!"
@人┊xuan lu she couldn't help but to feel the warm feeling as words of kindness engulfed yeri's feelings, she never experienced someone would openly accepts her even though they barely met or know her. there is really goodness in people's heart anyway, "you really worked hard on everything and repaid people with kindness, i-i guess coming here often really isn't enough for it." she shakes her head a bit before looking back at the older human, "i'd be truthful to you, i was never a human. i'm a wolf from gusu lan." yeri readied herself for the human's reaction, i know when human heard that someone is a wolf, they would immediately call hunters to catch them, that's what she feared the most.
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ Xuan Lu chuckles and sat in front of Yeri as he looked at her eating. She always likes to make people happy with her food, she loves the smiles on people when they eat and hence this restaurant. She let out a shy chuckle, gently covering with her sleeves when she laugh. " You can always come here and have your meals, each of them is done up with our heart and love". She smiles softly and takes a tissue before pointing to the little food dirt on Yeri's lower lips. "You can repay by... coming here often! I will cook lots of yummy food for you, and just call me Xuan lu! Ma'ma feels little weird".
@人┊xuan lu yeri still enjoying the meal every last one, she hummed in delight and eagerly eats the meals on the table. there's nothing that would satisfy a hungry wolf, the lan beta smiled as the human came back with bandages and lotions. "this is good-- i mean it is great! i never even tasted some of these foods before but it definitely got on my taste." she chuckled and drinks a glass of water. the lan beta then looks at the human who even bothered to bought bandages for her, "you really made effort to buy me these, i-i don't know what to repay you, ma'am." she got flustered a bit by how she is so kind towards the beta wolf. "how can i repay you for such kindness?" yeri muttered and rubs her nape gently.
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ Xuan Lu walked out and immediately started to walk to the place quickly, being the leader of chunan, she is very familiar with the location, walking along the little alleys before reaching the location within 20 minutes. She knocked on the door lightly and bowed politely before handing the food over to the customer. "My apologies for sending the food really late, our delivery lady got into a little accident while running here. There is a little coupon, you may use it and the next meal is on us! And I added a little dessert in too. Thank you and have a good meal!" She smiled sweetly before walking back to the store. She went to the pharmacy to buy some lotion and bandages too, thinking that the other could bring back home to apply them. She walked back into the store and smiles warmly seeing the other still eating. "How is the food? I hope it's of your taste.. And here, I got these little bandages and lotions, you can go home and apply them! Remember to change it regularly especially when you are outside working so hard.."
@人┊xuan lu the lan beta looked at the other as she told her that she'll be the one to deliver the foods she's supposed to deliver to the customers. "okay, and p-please be careful!" she told her with a smile before she left and the beta stayed inside the store and looked at the foods in the kitchen, yeri read the note that told her that it was all for her. she felt lump on as her eyes starts to get teary, she tries to hold back her tears before looking at the foods. she sat on a chair and eats her meal that was made by the owner of the restaurant she's working, it is rare for her to be treated by someone who barely knew her, she will take it kindly as they are kind to her despite being in a job that care less by other people.
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ Xuan lu takes the receipt before reading it, putting back on the table nicely before carrying the food. "Thank you Yeri, once you are done with the oilment, go to the kitchen mm? See you in a bit! " she chuckles before walking out of the store. There are some nicely cooked food in the kitchen with a little piece of paper that says, "Dear Yeri, thank you for delivering for us. This lunch is for you, I bet you have not eaten. Thank yoh once again"
@人┊xuan lu yeri takes out some bandages and ointments to treat her wounds as the other cooks for the food for them, once she's done she puts aside the kit before walking back to the table. the scent of the foods makes her drool, but she gulped her saliva and looked back at her, "ah, right. here." she gives the receipt to the human. then the young beta looked at the other and nodded, "u-uh sure sure! just leave it to me!" she chuckles.
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ Xuan lu let out a warm smile and nods slightly, "Slowly, Ill go and prepare the food." She walked back to the kitchen and started to cook the food, while waiting for it to cook, she brought out a cup of cold tea for Yeri. "Here you go", she smiles softly before walking back to the kitchen, packing the food. "Do you have the address? I will send it to them and come back to you, could you help me to look after the store when I am gone?"
@人┊xuan lu yeri silently follows her into the store and they sat down on the table, "a b-break?" she stuttered before the other grabs a first aid kit to treat the other's wounds. she dumbfoundedly looked at her and shakes her head. "a-ah, no it's fine. i can patch myself up. thank you." yeri smiles and looked at the human.

She gently supported Yeri to sit down on the table and put the bags at the side. "It's the downtime now, so you can take a little break here? Ah- One minute!" She walked quickly to grab her first aid box before coming back to Yeri. "Would you like me to help you to do it? You can go to the back to wash the wounds a little, and Ill cook the food.. Ill help you to patch up after mmm? I don't want you to get any injections"
@人┊xuan lu xuan lu... she had heard her name from before, she slowly realized who she got bumped into as her eyes widen. "x-xuan lu? t-the owner of the restaurant i'm in?" she muttered before she asked her name. yeri smiled a bit before confirming it, "yes, im lan yeri." she told her and waited for her to finish the call.
she listens to the conversation of the human and her phone, she waited for her to finish before they slowly starts walking with the human assisting the injured beta. "t-thank you, xuan lu... it is an honor to meet you... in an unexpected time though." yeri chuckles a bit as they keep on walking.
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ Xuan Lu let out a little pout when she knew the other must be stressing at how work performance. She gently holds onto her hand to give her a little tap on her forehand while looking at her with a reassuring smile. She took out her phone and immediately called the contact who helped to hire the delivery workers.
"Hello, this is Xuan Lu. I wanted to call you because I had a little accident with one of the workers.. Yes, I accidentally bump into her and she is injured now. Could you do me a favour?"
She nods slightly and looked at Yeri with her usual reassuring smile, "Are you Lan Yeri?" she mouthed and waited for the other to respond before speaking on the phone again. She put her phone on her shoulder and tilted her head slightly to support the phone while she reached out to take her food bags before supporting Yeri with her other hand. "Let's walk slowly back," she mumbles softly to the other before talking on the phone again.
"Mm! That's right, I will pay for the food and please give them a coupon too to order from us as well. Mm! And I will be inserting a little dessert too in the food pack. Please help me to apologise for the delay and Yeri is doing okay, she is injured so I will attend to her injuries. Mm. I will deliver the food directly put please do inform the customer that it might take another 30 minutes. Thank you"
She walked slowly back to the store with Yeri, making sure that she doesn't feel hurt. "Everything is settled, no worries."
@人┊xuan lu still panicking, yeri couldn't do anything but to stare at the mess on the ground. she slowly looked at the human, "b-bleeding...?" then she looked at the ripped jeans with wounds on it as well as her elbow grazed against the pavement and now it's bleeding. she couldn't do a thing but when she heard the other that she will cook foods for her again then treat her wounds.
"r-really? i-i see..." she muttered and looked at the woman in front of her, still in shock after what happened. bad records will fall on her, she will get fired once again. "t-thank you... b-but i'll just say to the customers that the food fell and apologized..." she muttered.
@☁┊ lan yeri ᵇ Xuan Lu eyes widened when she saw how the other fell onto the ground and started to try to pick up the fallen food. She immediately helped to reach out to the containers and she recognised the sticker on the boxes, these are food that she packed just now before she left! She immediately supported the other to get up and gently reached out for the tissue in her little bag.
"Here, wipe it off a little. Don't worry, I am Xuan Lu and I am the shop owner of the food, I can redo them, but it seems like you are bleeding..."
She mumbles softly when she saw red on her pants, the other must have scratched herself against the pavement. She takes another tissue and gently taps it on her wounds.
"Don't worry mm? let's go back to the restaurant and Ill give them a little call to explain my mistake and make up for them with fresh food. We can treat your wounds and would you like to change your clothes? There are some stains too.."
@人┊xuan lu yeri made her way through the streets as it is a bad time that the motorcycle she used to ride on got messed up and now she tries to hold with her own two arms. she's really within her adrenaline rush, yeri needs to get to the customer on time or else she will have a bad record once again.
the beta wolf tries to avoid people with her speed and tries to get to the other sidewalk, but then she didn't expect to have a person to appear all of a sudden. yeri tried to stop herself but she got bumped against an unknown female, the beta fell as well as her foods she should be delivering, the hot soups and the cold drinks. splattered on the ground. her eyes widen as she saw it before she looked at the human, she couldn't hold grudge towards humans but instead it made her panicked. "o-oh no! no no no! w-what should i do?!" she stood up and tries to pick up the fallen foods on the ground.
It's the peak hours, meal time! She was rushing around to prepare the ingredients and food. She has recently introduced food delivery option which makes her much more busier as than usual as people prefers to order. She managed to get a contact and hired a few delivery riders to help to deliver the food. Since it was through a third party, she wasn't able to see the ladies.
2pm.
She just finished preparing her last order and is waiting for the delivery to pick it up. She checked her fridge. She needed to stock up the food, so she make her way to the mart.
2.20pm.
She was looking through some bags to check that she got what she wanted while she walked back to the store. She didn't see a lady carrying food infront of her and accidentally bumped into her. Her eyes widen and immediately put down her bags.
Xuan Lu was placing the plates nicely on the table, before putting a little relaxing aroma candle in the middle, taking the matchstick before lighting it up. She got up when she heard the door opening, a gentle warm smile was shown on her face. She walked over to Jisoo and gently give her a firm warm hug, gently patting her back before pulling away slightly, looking at her best friend with a gentle warm smile.
"Welcome, you look really pretty today Jiji! But tired at the same time..."
She let out a little pout but her voice was full of concern. She wanted to find out more so she could think of ways to support her friend but she knew her friend needed some food at least. She gently holds onto the other hand and walks her towards the table.
"Do you need to rush off today? I cook some warm food, I hope you have not been skipping too many meals. And your favourite too! "
