– in the new school year, professor mcgonagall has decided to let university students mingle in each other's houses. friends from different houses can hang out in each other's common rooms and dorms, so long as they enter with a student from that house. for example, hufflepuffs may not enter the ravenclaw common room without being accompanied by a ravenclaw. they may leave on their own, however.

Emerald and Braeden have been close friends and nothing more since they were six years old. Their families, on the other hand, have been hoping for the two of them to get married which, in turn, would benefit the De Lisle and LaClaire clans. Unfortunately for them, marrying each other would be like marrying their sibling, which both of them don't want.
