The connotations of the price she wanted to cash in was not lost on her and it was tempting, but so was the idea of the detour. Seohyun had spiked her curiosity. And yet, the second she felt her girlfriend's lips press passionately to her own she knew there was no contest. She would have done anything for her for one of these kisses alone.
"U-huh." Eunbi's eyes struggled to focus back on her girlfriend as she saw her begin the process of hailing a cab. It luckily did not take long, for Seohyun's actions had already awoken the needy hunger within her. Her foot was tapping impatiently the whole drive back, eyes on absolutely anything but Seohyun. She'd lose that battle within a heartbeat.
"Mind it?" she asked with a small scoff, hurrying to hop out of the car only to receive a loving tap on her behind. A small moan escaped her before she could stop it, causing her to freeze a bit with a bashful expression on her face. "Lets just hurry in, this dress itches," Eunbi whined, pressing herself to Seohyun's side.

@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ "You know what, on second thought..." Seohyun purrs quietly, sneaking her hands over Eunbi's waist to pull her flush into her in one fell swoop. "I think I'd like to cash in my prize at home..." She throws another quick glance to confirm they're alone, and captures her girlfriend's lips in a sensual kiss. Her tongue sneaks out to taste the remnants of champagne off the woman's lips. And as she pulls away, she nips at the other's lip, tugging it gently between her teeth before releasing.
"Mmhmm... I'm taking you home." Seohyun was a woman of determination, and once she declared it, she made it happen. The taxi was hailed not long after. It took every ounce of reservation left in her to not sneak a hand under Eunbi's skirts and begin the real party early. The taxi driver couldn't be trusted after all... But the moment she spotted her building, with its lighted windows all neatly lined, and the familiar doorman waiting out front, she felt that impatience grow again. "I hope you don't mind my hastiness," she apologizes to Eunbi while opening up the door to help her out. "I am just incredibly hungry," she punctuates with devious tap to her girlfriend's . The taxi is gone behind them, and Seohyun snakes an arm around the other's waist. "Ready to go up?"

@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Eunbi let out a little whine as she hurried after her girlfriend, both admiring her cheeky grin and cursing her sly mind at the same time. “Fine,” she huffed in stubborn defeat as she finally got to join up with her, their fingers linking together into a comforting grip. “I owe you a prize. It is your special night after all, I guess I would have let you win anyways.” She wrinkled her nose at her girlfriend before letting out a little huff, lisp curling up in a smile.
“The bed sounds extremely tempting,” the younger hummed, trying her best to ignore the tipsy wobble of the world around them. That champagne really snuck up on her. “But how could I not want to make a detour if you’re going to be all teasing like that?” Eunbi gave a glance around before placing her arms around Seohyun’s neck, shielding themselves from view as she pecked her lips. “Last detour gave me a rooftop view of the city. If it is aaanything like that, I’m sold.”

@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ It was a literal breath of fresh air as Seohyun raced back to the temperate weather of the outdoors. She knew Eunbi was hot at her heels, but Seohyun was a winner, and even though she cheated, she was going to relish this victory. Her hand bag swings playfully in front of her off the tips of her manicured fingers, her smile as devilish as the movement. "Ooppssss~ looks like my woman has lost the race~ and now she owes me a prizeeeee!" she sings across the sidewalk to Eunbi.
When they're finally rejoined, she takes a quick look around to make sure their alone, linking their fingers together for a welcome touch. "But first... Do you want to go home, or do you want to take a detour? I know it's late butttt... It could be fun~?"

If only she could convey how much these moments meant to her, even if they were cut short or snubbed by something coming up. Just having a few seconds alone to kiss her made every day so much brighter, as if Seohyun’s lips alone could chase away both worries and anxiety.
Her eyes closed as her girlfriend reached up, her cheek pressing against her palm to take in whatever she could get before this moment too passed. The touch of her hand alone would be enough to carry her through the rest of the party. The little kiss at the end helped too. She let out a surprised sound, eyes opening back up to look at her girlfriend, wide as if she was seeing the northern lights. How could anyone ever be so perfect?

The rest of the party passed with Eunbi mostly quiet. She exchanged a few whispered words with Tiffany and Jessica between speeches, but remained still for the most part otherwise. It was only when she noticed Seohyun glancing over to her that she sneakily reached out with her foot, gently brushing it along her calf to signify that she was okay.
She had no clue what time it was when people had finally began leaving for their coats, but soon found herself swept into the same path when Seohyun passed her with a small whisper. A smile spread back on her lips as she snuck after, keeping to the sides of the room to not draw attention. “H-hey, unfair, you’re already ahead!” Eunbi hurriedly whispershouted after her girlfriend, just having gotten her coat in hand.

Her annoyance was directed entirely at herself, as she was usually the one having to interrupt and raincheck these precious few moments they shared. She tucks a strand of hair back behind Eunbi's ear, caressing her cheek for as many moments as time permits. "We're going back down," she concurs, sneaking in a final kiss.
With that, there's no other choice left to pick. The duo are forced to rejoin the party downstairs. Seohyun admits that it passes gratingly slow. With every speech, every conversation, she finds herself glancing more and more at Eunbi. When the night finally draws tired, and everyone begins resigning themselves, she's one of the first to respectfully excuse herself. "Quick, before anyone notices we're leaving," she whispers excitedly to Eunbi. She'd give anything to take her hand and drag her across the room, but their act wasn't quite over. They make it to coat check successfully, and Seohyun is still dragging hers over her shoulders while she beelines for the exit. "Last one there's owes the other a prize~" she calls playfully as she trots off, a laugh floating over her flowing hair and towards Eunbi.

But she knew she was not the only one vying for her girlfriend's attention and time. And as her phone began buzzing, pulling them back down to reality, she knew the moment was over. Eunbi let out her own little whine as Seohyun pulled back, her teeth digging into her bottom lip as if it could hold the sensation of the kiss for but a few short second longer. Her mind was filled only with her longing for the abrupt moment to continue, not paying much attention to Seohyun's words to the phone.
Not until she had her attention back and saw the apologetic smile. Curses... "I understand," the younger lied, trying to hide the hurt from showing. From experience she knew Seohyun would make up for it tenfold, but it did not stop the selfish part of her that wished for nothing except to steal her girlfriend away from everyone and everything for a moment longer. She pushed her hands against her girlfriend's, slowly squeezing them before nodding. "We're going back down?"

Seohyun would have stayed there all night tending to the Greek goddess that was her girlfriend. But no good moments came undisturbed in this industry. Not when they were at her level apparently. Seohyun barely knew a moment's peace, and it was clear in the trill tone of her phone's ringing out of her back pocket.
She whines into Eunbi's lips, not eager to pull away. But the ringing only grows louder and louder, until its warbling her ear drums. She's forced to confront it. The smartphone is pulled out of her pocket, one apologetic finger held up to Eunbi as she backs away. "What does she want..?" Seohyun mutters to herself after peaking at the ID. "Unnie, what's wrong?"
She's not able to get out more as Tiffany's rushed voice streams in, demanding for the younger to rejoin them downstairs as the speeches were about to begin. "Okay, okay, okayyyyyyyy! I'm on my way! Okay. Okay. Bye!" She ends the call, hiding the device back where it came from. She faces Eunbi with an apologetic smile, slowly walking back to her and grabbing onto the tips of her fingers. "Raincheck on our rooftop party? I'll make it up to you later... I promise."

She never needed the big displays of love to know how her girlfriend felt, as their private moments together were often filled with similar declarations, though rarely as loud.
“I can’t help hide my face when you’re being so-“ Eunbi began, biting her lips when she heard the drop in her partner’s voice and saw the look in her eyes. It sent a pleasant shudder down her spine. “You got to stop being so damn hot,” she hurriedly mumbled out, grasping at Seohyun’s jacket to pull her closer in a hungry kiss. And how could she not be hungry? Seohyun had just broken open a door like a badass, only to flirt like she was the main lead in a drama. Eunbi could still remember how smitten she had been the first time her now girlfriend had approached her. And she could not have been more thankful for the change it had made to her life.
Her hips pressed against Seohyun’s, a small moan escaping between their lips. “You’re such a tease…”

Their line of work, and Seohyun's prominent presence in the public eye, made it impossible for them to be as free as they wished to be. Making moments like these all the more precious. She tucks Eunbi's face out of her shoulder, cupping her cheek in a palm to admire the other. "No need to hide from me then... I think it's time for us to have our dessert..." Her voice drops in volume, hushed and nearly breathless with her underlying insinuation.
She her lips while eyeing Eunbi's and closes the space between them. How could Seohyun resist her girlfriend when she looked like an opalescent beauty in her evening wear. Done up to the ninth degree. Breathtaking in every aspect. The kiss deepens, with Seohyun's tongue pushing through Eunbi's lips. She allows her hands to slide over Eunbi's voluptuous curves, eventually gripping at her backside and squeezing as cheekily as she had before. "Oops~" she laughs into their embrace.

To just be able to have a romantic moment like this away from the crowds with only the two of them was itself a wonder.
A small surprised gasp passed her lips when she felt her girlfriend’s hand on her rear, her cheeks immediately flaring up a deep red. “H-hyunnie,” she whined, leaning in to hide her blushing face against Seohyun’s shoulder. “I already told you that you didn’t need to keep your hands off. Much less so when we’re here alone,” Eunbi continued as boldly as she could manage, her heart already racing in her chest. “You know I love your hands all over me.”

She allows her girlfriend to spin around and take in the ambiance while she uses the nearby cinder block to keep the door blocked open. As fun as it was to push the door open, the only way out was with a key and a pull. She did not want them to get stuck up here. Especially with her clutch holding her phone still down in the banquet hall.
She readily accepts Eunbi's arms around her neck, keeping her hands poised around the other's hips herself. "If you like mysteries, then have you heard about the mysterious tale of where my hand went?" Seohyun teases. She sneaks a quick little squeeze of Eunbi's as she does, her playful expression loudly bared on her face. "Sorry, I just can't keep my hands off of you~"

Eunbi let out a relieved sigh as she trailed behind her girlfriend, delighting in the comfort of their fingers interlocking. Her path was lead blindly by Seohyun ahead of her, thinking they were headed for the lobby until they passed a sign that indicated the lobby was down, yet her girlfriend was headed up the stairs. She furrowed her brows in confusion for a moment before she heard Seohyun’s question. And immediately her lips cracked in a bright smile.
“Of course I trust you,” she laughed back, wondering what rambunctious idea she had in mind. Whatever it was, she was sure it would make her delighted. Any moment with her would. And a little work out up the stairs would not hinder whatever excitement was inn wait for her. Once they got high enough to reach a door she leaned against the rail for a huff of breath, watching with amusement as her girlfriend explained how she had found out you could break out onto the roof. It was ridiculous, but she had to admit that watching her break open that door was extremely hot.
Eunbi did not hesitate to follow Seohyun up on the roof, her hand still grasped in her girlfriend’s as she gasped. “Woooah. This place is gorgeous.” Her eyes only further widened as the lights flicked on, her heart hammering away in her chest. “This place is great! And don’t tell me-“ she happily cooed as she spun back to look at her girlfriend, wrapping her arms around the woman’s neck. Leaning in closer, she let the tips of their noses touch but for a second before smiling. “I like the mysteries. They are romantic.”

@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ The change of scenery felt like a warm hug on a chilly day. The cacophony of noise from the event drifted into a muted silence the further they strayed from it. Seohyun knew this hotel well, having stayed here multiple times before, and rather than leading Eunbi to the lobby on the main floor where most went to rest, she opted for climbing up. Her hand naturally slid into her girlfriend's, fingers tucking together comfortably. She spares a smile over her shoulder as she chooses the stairs. "This might burn your calves a bit, but you trust me, right?" A small laugh filters through her lips. With one of Seohyun's hands occupied, the other fidgets nervously. The many bracelets and small charms that she'd collected throughout the years jingling with every movement. Other than that, she keeps quiet, enjoying the peace on their trek over many flights of stairs.
They go for a good while, before Seohyun arrives at the rooftop door. "It's technically not open to the general public, butttt... I found out that," as she speaks, she lets go of Eunbi to push a shoulder to the door, "if you push in the right corner here and..." She throws her weight into the heavy metal, one heeled toe kicking the bottom right corner of the door. It bursts open with a squealing thud, a blast of fresh air hitting the two in the face. "There we go! Come on!"
Seohyun finds Eunbi's hand again and pulls her eagerly onto the decorated terrace rooftop. Rows of lawn chairs are neatly organized around the awning. A couple parasols are folded up in the night around tables. Plants of all kinds and flowers of all colours decorate every corner for as far as the rooftop goes. She fumbles for a switch on the side wall, and strings of light illuminate the space, just enough for them to see. "Isn't this place awesome? Don't ask me how I found it unless you want to know what other rules I broke~"

Her high shoulders slowly eased into a relaxed position, her eyes following her girlfriend’s every small movement. Even in a crowded space like this her presence was enough to sooth most worries. “I will. But for now, let’s celebrate your big win. You deserve the recognition,” she hummed in reply before taking a sip of her champagne.
As time passed groups of people passed by, all wanting to have a small moment of Seohyun’s time. Eunbi couldn’t blame them. She’d want it too. But unlike them she could revel in the quiet peace of knowing that was her girlfriend. Seohyun had chosen to spend time with her, precious time worth more than anything she could ever be offered. So as she gave her girlfriend the time needed to soak in the success of her achievements, she sat back quietly, smiling to herself with eyes for none other than her.
It was first when food arrived that she let her eyes wander elsewhere. What had been a rush of talk had become a slow rumble of conversations between those sharing tables. Eunbi glanced around every now and then, looking back with a bright smile whenever she would feel Seohyun nudge at her. At least until the desserts arrived and she made a suggestion to get some air. “You don’t have to ask me twice, babe,” Eunbi quietly cooed back, her hand sneaking into her girlfriend’s. “Lead the way?~”

She still recalled when she'd first locked eyes with Eunbi. In a romcom style meet-cute, their eyes had locked across a crowded room. Eunbi had flashed her that timid smile and dipped her head, and Seohyun was whisked away into a world of cotton candy clouds and chirping songbirds. She still couldn't believe she held the other's heart in her own hands. It was a treasure she tended to carefully, and loyally.
"We could always take a breath of fresh air when it all gets too much," the woman suggests. Her hand slinks underneath the decorated table cloth to gently squeeze Eunbi's knee. "Just let me know, okay?"
As if right on time, a small crowd joins the table, standing across and exchanging polite greetings. Seohyun's lost in frivolous conversations for the majority of the knight. When the food is finally served, she relishes the moments of privacy eating provide her. Between every bite, she sneaks glances at Eunbi, touching in to make sure she was okay. When the desserts begin rolling out, Seohyun feels like she's bursting out of her clothes. From the food and the nerves of having to address the crowd with a speech. It was a party in her honour and all... Somehow it felt different than when she was performing or speaking to employees.
"Hey, let's go take a walk while they're all busy eating," she suggests to Eunbi, having leaned in close to her ear to discretely suggest it.

@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Having grabbed the offered champagne flute from her girlfriend’s hand, Eunbi nervously swirled the liquid as she exchanged short pleasantries with Seohyun’s friends. They were nice and hopefully someone she herself would call friends at some point, yet there was still something to them that seemed so out of this world. Even with her modicum of fame, these were the highest highs within the entertainment business, and she felt a bit out of her league amongst them.
Even Seohyun could feel like that, though for an entirely different reason. Sometimes she would feel the need to smack herself, just to check if it was a dream or not, because the woman by her side was beyond perfect. And as she sat down, Eunbi felt her eyes drawn towards her, the sound of the crowd and their friends droning out as vague background noice as she observed her girlfriend adjusting her hair and clothing.
‘Beauty, thy name be Seohyun,’ she quietly thought to herself as her girlfriend lifted her glass and rambled of a quick speech. It earned her a short snort of a laugh as their glasses clinked together, yet Eunbi couldn’t look away.
“It does, but… So long as I get to spend time with you, I’d be anywhere,” she admitted bluntly back, trying to keep her voice low enough to not stir too much attention from the other two.

As much as she wanted to flaunt her to everyone they knew, the circumstances of their situation made it a bit more difficult. Still, the woman would be damned if she couldn't share her joy with at least the closest people in her life. She takes a moment to settle into her own seat, rearranging her clothes and hair more in nervous habit than to assure she looks okay. When she's finally settled - for all that means with her fluttering breath - she raises her champagne flute to Eunbi.
"Cheers, to a wonderful night all about me... And the wonderful, and fascinating woman that accompanies me... And fascinates me and draws me in... Am I rambling again? I got lost in your eyes and got off track," she teases, clinking their glasses for an excuse to hide her cheeky smile behind the glass.
"But really, I can think of a million places better to be tonight than this party. It all seems too much, doesn't it?"

Her heart was drumming louder as she got a whiff of her perfume. She only blinked once she finally realized she hadn’t taken a breath for a moment, gasping quietly as she tried to lock this very moment in her mind for safekeeping.
Grabbing hold of Seohyun’s arm with her free hand, Eunbi hurried after, gently pressing herself to her girlfriend’s side. The way the air had shifted from intimately private to bombastic with the opening of a single door was beyond her, but her eyes darted hurriedly between all the faces that greeted them wondering just how many people Seohyun truly knew.
Her head was still spinning a bit from all the impressions when she realized Seohyun had pulled out a chair for her at a table with some more familiar faces. “T-thank you, Hyunnie,” she quickly cooed before sinking into the offered seat, hands folded inn her lap. “Of course. It is nice to see some friendly faces here,” she continued, bowing her head politely to both women, hoping the movement would hide the blush on her cheeks. She was used to Seohyun’s casual flirting, but it had yet to stop raising her heartrate.
“Oh, yes please.”

Now was no exception, as that graceful chuckle floated through the other's lips. "I suppose I can wait. Tonight will be a test of my patience, in the best way possible," Seohyun laughs herself. She spares their last few moments of privacy to carefully tuck some hair behind the other's ear, admiring her further. "Okay, let's go in." She places her hand in the crook of Eunbi's elbow, guiding her into the large banquet hall where everyone was waiting. Immediately, they're stormed with loud greetings, and voices from every direction, most of which Seohyun thanked quickly before heading to her table with the people she trusted most, at the head of the room.
She nearly trips on her own feet, but she manages to make it to the table, pulling out Eunbi's chair first. "For you, my lady. And you know Tiffany unnie already, right? And Jessica," she motions to each of the dazzling ladies in turn. "If not, everyone meet my lovely partner again!" A server walks by with a tray of champagne, of which Seohyun grabs two, presenting one to her girlfriend. "Care for a drink, beautiful?"

She wasn’t usually one for big get togethers, but when her current obsession had asked her out for a big party to celebrate the completion of her first project she felt like she couldn’t say no. Not that she would ever turn down an offer to see Joohyun anyways. The woman was amazing and made Eunbi feel things she had never felt before.
A small chuckle escaped her lips as she glanced at her date, cheeks flushing a deep red. “No one ever said you had to, Hyunnie,” she hummed back and bit her bottom lip. “But for the sake of your own celebration, we probably should wait with that or the time being, don’t you agree?”

"Bibi," she whispers into the ear of her date with a low laugh. They hadn't quite entered the restaurant party room, where food, music and conversation awaited them. Seohyun herself had chosen a sleek pantsuit, the deep colours complementing the peachy makeup. And Eunbi... Well... She always took her breath away, but especially tonight. "I don't know how I'm meant to resist you when you look this good."
