island's dorm

@✢ son youmin "ooh a show? that's good news!" her tone was more positive, yet still gentle, hoping to dispel even the smallest bit of negative tension that had naturally settled in the room. then her expression softened into something a bit more stern, but well-meaning as she lightly shook the contents of the bottle. "being worried about someone you care about isn't a burden, minnie." it was a brief comment, something she quickly moved on from as she warned him the bandage would sting before she swiped it across the first cut. "tell me more about this show," she started, hand-fanning to cool the burn. "if you don't remember the name, do you at least remember what kind it is?"

@★ ha mirinae ᵐᶦʳᵃᵉ as the other spoke, he continue to chew on his lip, his head slowly nodding. "I'll talk to a manager soon, I have a meeting with him tomorrow. wants to have jinx on some variety show that I can't remember." he let his eyes close as the other continued to fix him up, once again nodding a small bit. his eyes opened to look up with a hum. "liquid bandage will be less noticeable. I don't want the boys noticing right away. they'd be off the rocks about trying to take care of me or something. I don't want to burden them with that right now."

@✢ son youmin "I mean—" she paused for a moment, collecting her thoughts. "I think you should. Maybe bring it up with your manager, so it can be raised to the CEO. Or you can go straight to the CEO. But, they'll know how to proceed quietly so it's not some huge blow up. I know you wouldn't want something like that," she explained, a sympathetic expression crossing her visage. "Anyway, don't worry too much right now. I could go on and on about what you should do, but those guys were in the wrong and we can take care of this in the morning. Now," she held up a small bottle in one hand and an unopened bandage in the other. "Liquid bandage or regular?"

@★ ha mirinae ᵐᶦʳᵃᵉ youmin originally thought the worse from her reaction and he was quite shocked by her tone. he watched her with slightly wide eyes, almost like a deer in the headlights, waiting for a bad reaction. he let out a breath after her next words escaped her lips, blinking a bit at the other as he took in the questions. "I don't think there was something I did.. they didn't look like they recognized me or anything. but I mean, I don't really know." he hummed at the next thought before shrugging. "I don't know, do you think I should?" he blinked up at the other with a slight tilt of his head. his gaze fell back down at her last words, slowly nodding as he bit his lip out of habit. "I just didn't want his cat to be hurt.. but I guess he never had cat.." with a quiet sigh, he began to fidget with his hands.

@✢ son youmin Mirinae's mumbled string of apologies was cut short by the weight of his word, a deep furrow setting in her brow. "What?" She had to bite her tongue to keep from swearing, instead taking a steeling breath and turning focus to unscrewing the little tube of healing cream. "So, these guys just randomly targeted you? Or is there something else? Do..you wanna file a claim?" She inquired, lightly applying the product, her gaze briefly flitting up to meet his with an afterthought. "And you can't be so trusting of strangers, Min, not in our position."

@★ ha mirinae ᵐᶦʳᵃᵉ youmin's curiosity was cut short by the woman returning to him. he watched her quietly for a moment, unmoving from his spot before he blushed at the gesture. he shyly bowed his head before he moved to sit next to next to the other, keeping his eyes off the other's. "sorry, just got distracted." he mumbled out in response, only looking up as she warned him. he reacted almost immediately to the sting, hissing as he jumped a bit away. though, he breathed out and moved back, knowing it needed to be done. biting his lip to hold back another hiss, he lightly gripped to his seat to hold himself still. as the elder spoke up, he once again looked up at her, hesitating before he spoke up. "someone came up to me and asked if I could help them with their cat. I obviously said yes because they said the poor kitty was hurt, and I didn't want something to happen to it. so I followed them, but they lead me to an alley with a bunch of people in it. and, well, you can see what happened."

@✢ son youmin it took a little longer for her to find the kit that she would have liked, half of her mind cursing the person who hadn't returned it to its right spot and the other half stuck on the battered peer waiting in the commons.
"sorry," she apologized for the wait, finally surfacing from the hall to which she'd disappeared, and made quick work of setting her mise en place on the island. belatedly, she noticed he'd been standing and gestured for him to have a seat next to her. "you could have sat down, silly," she warmly admonished while tearing open an alcohol pad. "now—it'll sting a bit—" she started, interrupting to warn him before she began to gently blot the small cut across his cheek. "now, are you going to tell me who did this? or, at least, what happened?"

@★ ha mirinae ᵐᶦʳᵃᵉ youmin was just about to walk away from the door before it opened to a fairly familiar face. having trained so long, he is acquaintances with most, if not all the older groups' members. however, seeing the elder in front of him almost seemed foreign in this circumstance, which proceeded to make him grow quiet. he tended to be the quiet type, shocking as he is a leader now, but feeling uneasy basically made him go mute. he took a moment to look down at the floor, though after catching sight of his body and clothes, he looked back up at the other. he merely nodded at her words as he made his way to the kitchen, grateful the dorm layouts are mostly similar if not identical. his eyes looked around the kitchen as he stood waiting, curiosity distracting him from his shivering and bruised form.

@✢ son youmin the visual alert flashing from the corner of mirinae's desk once again proved to be a useful gag gift as she, with her earbuds blasting and focus solely on her notes, hadn't heard the knocking. it took a moment for her to reclaim spatial awareness before she properly reacted, abandoning her desk to answer the door. she didn't bother checking the intercom cam since there were only so many people who'd show up at the dorm and yet, the one standing before her as she opened the heavy door was one of the last she expected. a soft, startled gasp left her lips as she took in the sight of the younger idol.

"min—" she cut herself off before she could assault him with questions, merely stepping aside to let him in instead. "wait in the kitchen," was her only addendum as she quickly went off to find the first aid kid.

@★ ha mirinae ᵐᶦʳᵃᵉ youmin had no idea why he stood in front of island's dorm. he almost felt embarrassed to go back to the jinx dorm as he shivered and winced in pain. his clothes were ripped, his bag was gone, and he had many cuts and bruises framing his body. there was no way he could go into his own dorms like this. so, with slight hesitation, he reached his hand up to knock on the door, wincing as the limb moved. his teeth dug into his busted lip, debating on walking away as he waited for the door to open.

*lounges across the couch with some random variety show on the tv, provided background noise with the host of my attention being on Eummae - a finger gently running along her tiny, scaly head as she curls into a comfortable position on my chest*
