▣ roles

— DONORS
Humans that live within the Blood Farm. Most donors are here of their own free will, typically with the desire to escape a life of danger and poverty in the run-down city. Some are here for other reasons, such as companionship, or simply because they enjoy the act of being fed from. A donor has the choice of being either an indirect or direct donor. An indirect donor has their blood drawn into blood bags to be stored for later use. A direct donor is someone who is bitten by a vampire and fed from by the source.

— HUNTERS
These are humans that have infiltrated the Blood Farm under the guise of being regular donors, and now live within the facility. All hunters, regardless of their stance on vampires, must adhere to the same guidelines as regular donors (meaning they must allow their blood to be taken, whether directly or indirectly) in order to keep their cover. Plenty of hunters are here at the facility with the intention of tearing it down, but not all of them have the same motives or practices.

— VAMPIRES
Regular vampires that act as overseers of the facility. Their jobs within the facility can range from, but are not limited to: doctors, nurses, cooks, financial donors, security officers, board members, caretakers, groundskeepers, etc. Most vampires that work at the facility treat the humans well - sometimes with respect, and sometimes like one would treat a pet. It varies from vampire to vampire. *For more information about available positions within the Blood Farm please refer to the OCCUPATIONS room.

— ROGUES
These are vampires that have either 1) infiltrated the Blood Farm facility under the guise of regular working vampires, or 2) were initially regular members of the Blood Farm facility but have since changed their ways/stance on humans. Most rogue vampires are against the current state of human-vampire society, seeking to change things. Many of them believe that humanity is nothing more than a food source to be drained and discarded, and crushed beneath their heel. Of course, these sentiments can vary from rogue vampire to rogue vampire. Just like hunters having to live as donors, rogue vampires must still maintain a job/cover while here. *For more information about available positions within the Blood Farm please refer to the OCCUPATIONS room.

— IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This is quite a lot of reading, but it is important regarding vampires and their relationship to humans. Bullet points are present to make the information easier to read.

▣ For more information about the vampire species and how they function in this universe, please refer to THIS post.

▣ Whether a human is fed from directly or indirectly, all blood donation procedures take place within specific chambers that have been cleaned and steralized. This is to promote a sense of professionalism among the humans and vampires.

▣ When a vampire feeds directly from a human during the blood donation process they are only allowed to bite in two places. The carotid artery in the neck, or the femoral artery in the inner thigh.

▣ While it is technically against the facility rules for a vampire to feed from a donor outside of the chamber(s) and/or working hours, it is not unheard of for vampires to break this rule.

▣ Humans within the facility have specific rules and guidelines they need to follow in order to keep their place within the Blood Farm. (These are IC rules, so they can of course be broken, though breaking the rules will also come with IC consequences.) These include:
— Lights out/curfew at 10PM. All humans must be inside their dorms before or at 10PM and no later.
— Humans are not allowed to walk off of the facility grounds unless they are accompanied by a vampire, typically a member of the Blood Farm security team.
— Most of the Blood Farm is free rein to humans except for specific locations such as: offices, storage areas, locked rooms, etc.
— Outside of blood donation/feeding sessions a human is allowed to wear whatever clothes they want, though they only have so many styles to choose from: plain t-shirts and blouses, jeans, slacks, shorts, sweaters, sneakers and plain shoes. During a blood donation/feeding session a human must change into their Blood Farm-issued attire similar to medical garb (pants, shirt & shoes).
— As of now the humans of the facility have the least amount of power among the different roles. There have been, however, talks of creating a board of humans in order to communicate to the vampires of any needs and/or issues among the humans staying in the Blood Farm.

Can I ask two questions?
I was thinking about requesting San and I don't see him on the masterlist so could I, please, request him?
And if I make him a financial donor to the blood farm, are there any specific things he had to do or are there any requirements for financial donors in the world? I'm sorry if it seems like a stupid question. I just want to be sure. ><
