@† choi san What an interesting answer. Decades? Hyunwoo had heard of such vampires who were adverse to feeding from humans. Was it the preference of depersonalizing his meals, or a disgust for human-kind and their many reactions and tendencies? He couldn't be sure but he was certainly curious. Raised on them?
"See you around, money bags." He called out as the vampire began to retreat, tilting his head and realizing he only knew the stranger's surname. "Mr, Choi." He said in partial mocking towards the guide who had imitated such an interaction. He too stood, preparing to leave the grounds in favor for his dorm, intentions to forget the faces he was sure he may never see again.

@† sabine Yoo Jimin almost jumped in happiness seeing the garden. she loved always loved plants before she got here she had her own secret hiding garden. when she wandered moving her hand up against the leaves she missed her old home for a second. she stopped at some roses and kneeled down. sniffing the roses and smiling happily. she blinked a little seeing some weeds by the roots of the rose and moved to pull them out. "this will make you feel better" she mumbled

@☩ lee hyunwoo San wasn't quite sure how to answer but decided he could give one last answer before leaving, having the strong feeling in his gut that they would end up meeting again. "It's been decades since I've fed directly. I'm just used to the bags, as I was raised on them," he nodded once, "Sorry for the disruption. Enjoy the rest of your day." As they walked away, San began checking the time on his watch, scolding the guide for wasting so much of his time. He decided to end the tour early, wanting to just get his bags and head home, especially since he had some shows coming up that he needed to practice for.

@† choi san Hyunwoo did not falter when met with such hostility from the guide, taking his own initiative to ignore his presence and disregard his warning. He hummed, pleased that this stranger choice to answer him anyway. He felt as though he was being scrutinized, unsure what this man was looking for in his face but aware he was being observed closely.
"Bags? Is it not good enough from the source?" He prodded further, upholding such conversation as though he were one of them. He did not expect a response though, used to being overlooked or ignored when his curiosity grew to be a nuisance. He returned the bow of parting and almost disappointed at the disinterest of his counterpart. He bit back the remaining questions to which he stored in his subconscious for a later date.
† choi san 1 year ago
@☩ lee hyunwoo The guide narrowed his eyes at the human, "I don't believe that's any of your business."

San let out a soft sigh and shook his head, "I don't mind." He paused and looked at the human again, wondering yet again where he'd seen his face before. "I come here simply to eat. I pick up my blood bags and head home. That's all," he answered, not finding any reason to lie about it. That's all he ever came for was just an order pickup. That's what he'd come for that day until he somehow had gotten swindled into the tour.

"I am. I perform - dance, sing, and play instruments. I act. Different things of that nature," he informed the other. He grew tempted to ask aloud if they'd met before but found no need. "We should probably get going now," San added with a slight bow of his head, fully aware of the mix of disinterest and curiosity the human seemed to be bouncing between. What felt odd though was the fact that the human didn't seem annoyed. He'd been enjoying his time to himself, peacefully so it seemed, in the garden and here they were interrupting. It seemed to San to be one of the least ideal situations to be put in.

@✠ shin hakyun ⟨ tw. blood ⟩

At his smile and tone, Hyunjung didn't need to probe her emotion sensing to tell the human felt anything but guilt for his kill. Yet no matter how wrong it could have appeared to her--at least to the past Hyungjung--she could not truly condemn him guilty /and/ being guilty for feeling satisfaction in slaying a vampire. Hunter or not. Perhaps it's the attachment that she has towards being human causing her to be biased. Perhaps it's the way her morality stance has became much like a blurred line ever since she turned.

"I'm afraid this is too big of an offence for me to look the other way." Hyunjung tilted her head toward the body lying on the ground in a gathering pool of its own blood between them. If he were simply a human who sneaked out of dorms after curfew for little walk, she'd be willing to ignore for a couple of times. But he wasn't. He's evidently an experienced hunter with resources, stakes and all that. Hyunjung scrunched her nose at the traces of holly and hawthorn on him.

Knowing the vampire, it definitely was possible that he'd attack the hunter first. He was a despicable being. Too sensitive, too. The dead vampire always jumped at every time she warns him of the rules he'd broke. "Any defenses can wait until we're at the office." Hyunjung moved behind him and gave him a light push on his back towards the facility. "Let's go."

@† choi san "And what are your reasons?" Hyunwoo asked, rather nosily. He rocked on his heels, eyeing the strangers expression with a lack of restraint. He often held his gaze rather intense, hyper vigilant in his stare and eyeing any change in the expression of another. This stranger was relatively benign. Nothing too interest but he was of some importance and so Hyunwoo found his interest piqued.
Unbothered if the guide had so chosen to ram into him, Hyunwoo was pleasantly surprised when he was silenced, smiling with a feigned sweetness and clasping his hands behind his back as he watched the twos interchange. As he continued to brown nose the vampire, Hyunwoo found himself rather bored. Up until the mention of his occupation.
"Entertainer?" Leaning forth in curiosity. Benign but out of place curiosity for a mere human amongst the company of two vampires whom most likely looked down on him.
† choi san 1 year ago
@☩ lee hyunwoo "Everyone has their reasons for being here, my kind included," San replied with ease. He never questioned why a human was there, as he didn't need to. The only reason he'd chosen this particular blood farm to contribute to was that he heard they were a bit kinder to the humans they kept. Unlike others, they didn't have stories of a high number of merciless killings or forcing anything or anyone. It was even better in the long run, for him, because he could sense a lot through the blood he drank, even though it wasn't directly. Those other more careless blood farms had a tendency to have blood that was full of fear and anger and every other vile emotion one could think of, and usually wrapped up all in one drink. He didn't need or want any of that in his system.

The vampire was faintly amused with the comment only because at least someone else was pointing out just how much this guard was dragging on and kissing up. When the guide looked as though he were about to say something, San silenced him with a sharp gaze. "I'm considered important here only because of what I have to offer," he clarified, "Out there, I don't believe I'm thought of as such."

The guide cleared his throat, "Please, don't say things like that, sir. You're highly regarded here for many reasons, just as you are out there. Your family is important to the community, even to the humans."

"I'm an entertainer," San looked at the other vampire again, "Don't make it into something more than what it is."

@† choi san Hyunwoo was pleased with himself, clearly. He did not falter now shrink beneath the others gaze nor his sentiment. He figured he'd receive such an answer. His kind, most anyway, were fairly placid in regards to the humans that kept them content.

"It's not like over half of the humans here do it for selfless reasons. We have benefits. Some donate for pleasure,." He paused with an allknowing smirk, "And some for food and housing. Win-win."
Hyunwoo took note at how this stranger seemed to vibrate with agitation towards the guide at his side. He did not seem so uptight as some he had come across nor did he exude unnecessary hostility for Hyunwoo. This made it easy for him to meet his eyes.

"'Donations'." He echoed. Ah, he was an investor. "Bet his breath smells with how far up your he is." He was blunt, unbothered, and impulsively rude. He was unable to bite his tongue and once spoken he shrugged. " You have a young looking face but i'm sure you're important if your donating to this place, huh?"
† choi san 1 year ago
@☩ lee hyunwoo San stood there with his hands in his pockets, not expecting this conversation to go on but for so long, or so he hoped. He'd only done this to be in compliance with the facility, questioning yet again in the back of his mind if this was required of other financial donors. If he had some sort of company on these kinds of tours, he figured that maybe they wouldn't feel as cold and demanding. He'd said on more than one occasion that he didn't care how the facility was run as long as people weren't just being killed off for stupid things. As much hatred as he should have toward the humans, he just couldn't bring himself to actually carry it, let alone act on it.

Once the human began to answer the questions, San raised a brow and turned his gaze toward his guide, who clearly had turned flustered at the description. The final comment caused the vampire to turn his eyes back toward the mortal, "It's like going to a market or a restaurant. People tend to be pleased when they don't exactly have to hunt for their meal or question when the next one is. I would imagine that's all the reason one needs to feel satisfied, although I can only speak for myself."

"No, Mr. Choi. You're absolutely right," the guide interjected, receiving San's unamused gaze, "We're here to take care of and provide the best for our guests and your donations go toward making sure that happens."

San's gaze turned into a slight glare, clearly not amused at just how much this guy was overdoing it, and the fact that he'd been like this since San arrived. Maybe there were some donors that enjoyed being treated this way but it was really wearing out San.

@† choi san Maintaining his friendly demeanor, Hyunwoo sat up a bit straighter than before and watched with curious eyes at the two who approached him. He noted the reluctance on the youthful one's face and couldn't help but wonder if it was pointed toward him or the fact that he seemed to be at the mercy of his company.
At the questions directed toward the human, Hyunwoo eyed both of the individuals separately, considering his answer and if he should give his honest answer or his kiss- version of the truth.
After a second of deliberation, he smiled sweetly and nodded.
"Yes, I've made a few acquaintances. The facility is very clean and they feed us well. Ah, the medical staff have also been very helpful in the instances where I am assaulted by certain guards." He did not bat an eye at his response, tone just as openly friendly and welcoming dispite his less than favorable response. It seemed these pressing questions were in attempt to receive a thriving review. It wasn't a lie, and it wasn't as though HYunwoo was complaining. He was simply stating a fact of his experience. He looked at the vampire who had originally caught his attention and stood. "Your kind are exceptionally happy here it seems, so I'd say t hats a win, no?"

"I should scold you for putting me in my place like that. I don't think anyone has used that logic on me."
Junho kept his tone soft and playful. She really was an adorable human. The vampire had great control but he didn't want to announce it. It had been five hundred years since someone actually worried about him without any ulterior motives. Even know he was curious if she would really would to just help him or if she would try for more. There wasn't time for affection, and yet...Jennie had lost her family, her childhood to the war outside AND the war inside her own body... made her eyes soften at such a simple touch while she tried not to put her emotion out there too much.
"Stil...we should take care of you. Or, at least you have taken care of me beyond measure, the least I can do is help remind you of the value in your own life, just being yourself." she nodded reassuringly and held out her hand this time for him to take, gesturing for them to go together to the blood wing, just because.

Touching to see they healed enough to experience life but sad since it meant they were moving closer to their demise. He couldn't resist patting her head once more.
"You don't have to worry about me. I've lived for over a thousand years I think being a bit hungry won't kill me. Don't you? Besides, how could I even think of feeding when I want to know everything that happened since then."

There were a lot worse things in her nightmares then missing limbs.
"I'm so so sorry Dr. Lee, that was really inconsiderate of me." she bowed formally, feeling terrible now. He was hungry and had been nothing but polite. Jennie wasn't the type to normally be touchy, but...this was the man that saved her life. It was a little hard not to express some sort of gratitude besides words. "Let's get you some food first. That's most important to take care of your health." she gestured with her hand for them to head back inside and go to the blood wing.

Junho did his best to try to ease the burden on her standing up wanting the shift to be effortless. His eye scanned the scar as she showed him happy it seemed to have healed properly. The sudden hug caught him off guard. With shaky hands, he did his best to return the hug but with so much restraint. Junho had to do his best to remain calm. The hug overwhelmed his starved senses as well as overwhelmed him emotionally. The last time he actually held a human-like this was his last lover.
"Miss J-jennie... I uh... I don't feed normally. Being this close to you while it feels great also makes me uncomfortable. I want to see you live this life properly. I can't do that if I'm thinking... best not say in my state. How about we go somewhere and you can tell me about what you've done since I last saw you. Would that be alright with you? @☩ lee hyunwoo San's expression didn't falter as his eyes actually met those of the human. His gaze was clear though slightly confused. It passed quickly as it soon shifted to a slight ping of annoyance with the human's comment. He wasn't angry with the human per se, more so the fact that the other had just opened the door for his guide to continue rambling.

"See? He wouldn't mind."

The young vampire gave a slight glare to the guide before following him over to approach the human. San kept quiet as the guide then proceeded to question the mortal about his perspective of being a part of the facility. The guide was clearly searching for good things, wanting to make sure San had every reason to continue his monetary donations to the farm. San himself wasn't sure if he would just stop his donations at the drop of a dime because of a testimony of one of the, well, livestock of the farm. He doubted many farms held their standards to what they relayed to their investors anyway. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he'd be thankful to know that, at least at the basic foundation of things, the farm to which he was donating was doing what they were supposed to. He needed to feed one way or another though and who knows just where he'd be and what he'd been doing could he not get the blood bags from a farm.

@† choi san Keeping to himself, head tilted back and eyes having been closed in appreciation for the temperate weather and the comfortable climate Hyunwoo heard the distant utterings of voices to his right. He looked up, meeting eyes with a stranger who spoke as if to himself, the tall, youthful looking male at his side seemingly tuning him out as he gazed around the landscape. he watched in mild bemusement and internally chuckled. What a one sided conversation. These two were clearly vampires, but it was puzzling to see what appeared to be a tour of the grounds. Was this man of importance? He seemed fairly young, but Hyunwoo knew appearance meant nothing, some of the juvenile in appearance being some of the oldest members of the facility. When it seemed that the human was being approached, he did not falter in his gaze which was now reciprocated. He did not shy from the eye contact, confused as to why it appeared he was being scrutinized with familiarity. Did they know each other? Hyunwoo was certain they did not.
He heard the grit in his tone when he objected the interaction that was so obviously about to be initiated. From where he satt he could faintly here their conversation now and see the tension in which one of the vampires held in his face.
"I don't bite." he mumbled to himself, though aware that the vampires' auditory advantage meant that they would hear him. He offered a semi-genuine smile from afar and waved, airing on the side of friendliness and playing the part of 'subservient human'. More than anything he was curious as to who this face he had never seen was, and why he seemed to be regarded highly as though he were of influence. Hyunwoo's interest and nosy nature was piqued.
† choi san 1 year ago
@☩ lee hyunwoo Most people, human and vampire, didn't seem to know San's age, which came in handy. Those that ran the farm didn't seem to be all that aware of his story, but they knew his age or at least close to it. He was considered a baby by those that knew and he wouldn't deny that he was considerably young, even for a vampire. It didn't help all that much either that, being born one, left him frozen for the most part with a much younger appearance. He was presently dealing with the consequences, one could call them, for being and looking so young. A member of the staff facilities, one of the heads from what he was aware, was showing him around the grounds. San understood the purpose of such but hated the fact that it was mandatory. Considering he only ever seemed to be alone more often than not when he had to come to the "investor update meetings" as they were called.

"And, now, we've entered the community gardens," the voice uttered to him. He heard about that much before he zoned out again. San's eyes focused on the greenery and just how well-kept the landscaping was in this area. He wouldn't imagine they'd want to show it off otherwise though, especially to someone's money they continued to utilize for who knew what. San was getting his blood bags at the end of the day from a reliable source so he didn't bother delving into any of the other things he was pretty sure they got themselves into. There was a reason there were pros and cons to just about everything. For every cause, there's an effect.

"Mr. Choi... Mr. Choi? San," the guide called out sharply until San looked in his direction, "As you can see, there are humans here that enjoy the area very much." The guide was then walking over to the individual sitting on the bench, to which San raised a brow. "I don't think you should bother anyone," San's tone was sharp as he eyed the guide. Scanning the human's face, he tilted his head, wondering why the other looked even vaguely familiar. He wasn't used to seeing anyone's face more than once unless they were a part of his family, and that felt like a rarity in itself with how busy he usually was. "I was just going to ask their thoughts on the garden," the guide replied and San clearly wasn't amused. "I don't like repeating myself. You know that, right," San lightly clenched his jaw, an unintentional tick.

She wasn’t about to take it for her fear of it being a trap, her heart picking up a bit faster in worry , as they were the only two in the garden at that moment. But then, his name slipped out. Doctor Lee. “Doctor Lee?” The girls expression completely shifted. There was only one doctor Lee on the farm, and he… “you saved me when I was 14.” Without question, Jennie took his hand as she pulled herself up, a large smile coming to her face as she laughed at the crazy coincidence. “Oh my gosh. You put in my defibrillator.” She pulled down the right shoulder of her blouse, showing just the top moon of her chest and the white line that remained from emergency surgery. “Thank you for helping me.” She wrapped her arms gently around the others frame, feeling greatful tears well in her eyes. @† choi san The soft breeze and abundance of green which decorated the common ground of the community garden always called to Hyunwoo in an enticing beckon. It was one of the few places he felt at peace, unthinking of the corruption which littered the facility and giving the façade of peace and tranquility. Not many vampires frequented it save for the few who did so out of necessity. Groundskeepers and the occasional guard, both of which who paid little mind to him. The human had begun to make the acquaintance of a few other individuals of his kind and for once Hyunwoo no longer felt the loneliness of isolation. He had people for whom he could call upon for time and company but per usual, he preferred this time to himself. In his youth he had enjoyed the luscious garden of his childhood home. A round expanse of land to which the help at his manor had taken meticulous time to upkeep. He felt nostalgic in his visit there, seated on an intricate, metal woven bench and embracing the feeling of the brisk wind on his skin. He watched as the juniper shaded leaves swayed to and fro, the height of the greenhouse to his west scarcely blocking him from the blinding rays of the sun.

@☨ lee junho On her tip toes, Jennie stretched her arms to water the roses that encased the community garden walk way. She squealed softly as some of the water dripped back onto her blue blouse, sleeves rolled up so she could do the work and get things done. She didn’t have to do a thing to the garden, but it passed the time and seemed helpful for the flowers. She moved about the lining with the water bucket, trying to be gentle in making sure the roots were fed but not drowned. She had been going at it for an hour and was just about done. Her skin was getting scrapped up due to the climbing and maneuvering of the bucket along the archway, having to be strategic to get everything covered.
Once the bucket was empty, she climbed down, holding onto slightly thorny branches (cause the archway was primarily roses) pulling herself downward until with a little jump she was back on land. Sweaty, but feeling accomplished. “Thank you God,” she whispered as a little message to her father in heaven, grateful to have gotten a hard task done without her heart monitor going biserk. She wasn’t technically supposed to be doing a lot of physical activity, but…she felt strong enough to do helpful chores around the farm (as always).
“Woof…” she plopped back down into the grass, catching her breathe as she tilted her sweaty head back to the sky, closing her eyes and soaking in the sunlight on her snowy skin, taking the second to breathe and just enjoy the fruits of her labor.

@† kim hyunjung [ tw: blood, injury description, death ]

There's a visceral sort-of satisfaction Hakyun gets from killing.

It used to scare him, a long time ago; when he'd only just started hunting in the name of revenge. He had felt like he was turning into a monster the more he reveled in it. Relished in the give of cold flesh beneath his blade, or the slick thunk of a stake buried into the heart of a blood- beast. (Or even the occasional human. The ones that might as well have been worse than the creatures of the night, abusers and predators of their own making.)

Now, he knew exactly why he enjoyed it so much as he plunged the silver-tipped blackthorn into the chest of the vampire below him. It was the action of snuffing out a life that seemed only dedicated to harming the lives of others. One less bad apple in the world because Hakyun had decided to crush it beneath his heal; rot and worms disintegrating, poison seeping out.

He grinned manically as the vampire gurgled and coughed, thick dark blood staining their lips.

"You know," he said conversationally. "It took me awhile to figure out where I'd seen you from before, when I first arrived. Then I saw this," The hunter reached up to tap the back of his own neck. "I recognized the symbol. You somehow managed to escape and left /all/ your fellow brethren behind to die. Maybe you'll get to meet them again soon," He twisted the stake harshly and laughed as the vampire whimpered. "Or maybe not. I've been told vampires don't have souls to go to Hell with."

Perhaps Hakyun had been too focused on making sure the vampire was as good as dead, because he didn't notice the guard approaching him until she had spoken. The hunter quickly turned to look at her. His eyes were eerily similar to that of an animal; like a creature deciding whether or not he was going to kill this one too.

He wasn't.

There was no reason. And if there was, he would find out later. Hakyun knew he was well and truly caught at that point. Too exhausted from the recently finished fight to escape, and lacking in any sort of arsenal, considering he only brought the stake with him and it was still embedded in the vampire's chest, and the holly and hawthorn he'd drugged the vampire with was all used up.

Hakyun raised his hands in mock surrender, still kneeling over the now dead vampire, and smiled. "You caught me," he said, rather cheerily for someone who was probably going to be in big trouble. The high of the fight was still clouding his brain a bit, because otherwise Hakyun would be yelling at himself a lot more for being found out so soon. "If I promise to follow you, will you keep this a secret?" In one swift motion he stood up from the ground, still keeping his hands up to show that they were empty. "In my defense, he's the one that attacked me first." True, but only because Hakyun had instigated the vampire.

Can I please reserve Liana Cornell as a rogue vampire under the name ‘Sabine’? Thank you for your time.

Can I ask two questions?
I was thinking about requesting San and I don't see him on the masterlist so could I, please, request him?
And if I make him a financial donor to the blood farm, are there any specific things he had to do or are there any requirements for financial donors in the world? I'm sorry if it seems like a stupid question. I just want to be sure. ><
