@choi yewon His ears perked to the sound of her timid voice. She sounded so vulnerable and defenseless. This giant didn't care to listen to what she was saying, only looking at her pitiful face with misty eyes as he wrote her a whole biography in his head, imagining that she was a runaway from the mainland and ran here to live on the streets of paradise. What a pitiful girl. Jinyoung couldn't help but tear up as she made excuse after excuse for him to not help her. He wasn't a perfect man, but when the opportunity strikes, Jinyoung would never excuse a chance to look like a hero so that there could be a feel-good facebook clip about him helping others.

"Don't worry," He reassured, "I'll make sure nobody does anything to you. You won't even need to repay me." The elevator dinged as they reached the floor of the room and he held the elevator door open for her to get out first. This had the most condescending look on his face as she claimed to live there - of course, she couldn't afford to live at the hotel, she was just a poor runaway girl in the story he made up in his head. "How long are you going to live here?" He asked as he reached his hand out to her out, "This place might look like paradise, but it's better to have a warm bed at the end of the day." Damn, he was really just one step away from telling her to go the home to your parents, kid. TT

@kim yoohyeon /after sending message to her assistant, she sends a message to the guys who had the scheduling mix up, reminding them to let her know what they would be doing. lets out a little sigh as she locks her phone and slides it into her back pocket, looking around before hearing a somewhat familiar voice/ I'm sorry /apologizes before turning towards the person who made the comment, her face instantly lighting up at seeing who the was her friend/ and what's your complaint, miss?

@han dong "Finding Atlantis will definitely be groundbreaking. Unfortunately, I'm not that ambitious." He replied, laughing along. He nodded at her statement enthusiastically. "Yeah, definitely. Men have explored space but there are still a lot of unknown wonderful things in the sea. There are still a lot to discover in our planet." He hummed softly after listening to her speak. His eyebrows were furrowed a little before he relaxed. "I hope you lessen your worrying. It's not good for the health but it's good enough that you're trying, I guess." He thought about it for a little while, seeming to forget what could be considered a collection of his but in the end, he could not think of anything. "I guess, I do not tend to collect things. Nothing comes up on the top of my head. It's really good that you do though. Finding a good hobby is always great."

@lee dongyeol She chuckled upon seeing his excitement, finding it to be cute only to place her hands into her pockets and listened to him again. "I am glad it is fun, oh to find Atlantis huh?" She laughed in a joking manner before rubbing the back of her neck. " I do not blame you for wanting to explore the sea, there is so many weird and wonderful things out there, who knows what one person can find." She sighed in relief upon hearing his words about getting rest , gently waving her hand around. "I tend to worry in general , it not all bad but alright I will try not to. Thank you and indeed it was nice time." She wriggled her toes into the sand, enjoying the feeling. "Well yes , but I have found today has been more .. fruitful.. with shells so my collection is only getting bigger , but you probably do not collect such small things, if you do though , do you have a favourite?" She was curious now, she tilted her head a little to look up at him.

@lee yubin /once she arrived at the resort, she couldn't wait to meet her high school best friend who happened to be manager of the place. After asking the staffs where Yubin is, she then makes her way down tk the beach but not before taking two glasses of champagne along with her. The scene that happened in front of her eyes, however, makes her stop on her track and decided to just watch how her best friend handles thing which brought smile to her face. Once she assumed it was fine to approach, she casually making her way towards Yubin/
Ma'am, I have a complaint to fill.

@kim yoohyeon /after too events having been double booked at the beach, i make my way down there trying to get things sorted out/
What do you mean you can't push it back? /sighs/
Look, this can't work out at the same time, either one of you guys need to push your event back or schedule it to a different day where there is free time.
I am sorry for the mistake, and I'll talk to the people attending either event and let them know of the mix up, just get the scheduling figured out and let me know so I know what to tell them.
/once the people walk away, i let out a sigh while getting my phone out messaging my assistant updating her on the situation/

@han dong "It is fun!" Dongyeol exclaimed, a little too excitedly before composing himself. "I mean, that's honestly the main reason why I went to my field, in order to explore the sea or something." He added with a sheepish smile. He shrugged nonchalantly at what she said. "I'm actually off during the weekends, most weekends anyway so no need to worry about me getting rest. It's a good thing that you enjoyed your day off. Good for you." He laughed after hearing what she said before nodding in understanding. "That actually makes more sense, considering that we're at the beach and there are plenty of shells here."

@lee dongyeol "Ah data collection, equally as fun." She chuckled before looking out to where he gestured only to squint due to the glare, and hums a little. "Well thank you, I hope you get a day off sooner or later, you seem to be working almost every day , tsh , I did actually thank you for asking." She looked up at him and made a small pout as he laughed, only to smile upon seeing his grin. "You are welcome, hey no theres no need for anything really, in fact I only found this about five minutes ago." She emitted a small laugh while folding her arms.

@bae jinyoung Why did she find the way he looked at her somehow...odd? She couldn't tell what it is, but the man is treating her too well, when he could have left after escorting her to the hotel. Her colleagues were looking at her but she wasn't sure if they could recognize her when she was completely drenched; well, she would rather they couldn't so they wouldn't have to see such a rundown side of hers.

And the man took her to their room. Which is totally unnecessary, but well. She followed him, thinking that this might actually be her first time being any floors above the lobby. Weird, isn't it? She works here but never gets to enjoy the facilities like a resident here, and her world is basically confined within the whole ground floor. The chilliness made her sneeze as when they head into the elevator, raising a brow when she heard what the man was saying. "Came...ras?" She wonders if there is the need for that when the hotel is quite safe in her opinion, but the man's overcaring behaviours were way suspicious. "You don't have to, really. I can just be more cautious with these." Is he going to enter the room then? What is he planning to do afterwards? It all rose alarms in her head and towards the man beside her, what if he wants to do something else...?

"I didn't, but you don't have to buy it for me. I have money-" SUS SUS SUS. The man is probably trying to act nice so that he could do something. What does he want to do? Sleep with her? Yewon instinctively holds the windbreaker closer to herself, her little brain going fast as she tries to think of a way to run when things are really not adding up right for her. "Uh, well, I live here. Not the hotel, of course. I am a resident here." It also occurs to Yewon that she has never seen the looks of the guy, which might indicate he is a tourist. A tourist who is damn rich, and tries to sleep with girls that he randomly picks up by the beach when there was a storm? That's odd as hell. Maybe he was stalking her all this time, waiting the right moment just for her to run straight into his arms.

@choi yewon Jinyoung's overactive imagination went wild. This poor girl, getting caught in the rain. He could only imagine that eating lunch by the beach is the only joy a woman like her would have. He could only look at her with pity dripping from his eyes. "I'm sure you can eat lunch there any day," He reassured her, "The beach will wait for you." Then, he pet her on the head like a little animal.

"A coffee, please," He ordered and then immediately fronted with his card to comp for it. He gave Yewon's coworker a nice smile as she handed over the keys. "Oh, it'll come to the room, right?" He asked before taking her to their hotel room, then after the confirmation, he looked at her, shaking his head, "I have to check the room for cameras in the bathroom and bedroom first, you can never be sure at places like these," He cautioned as he walked toward the elevator. "Did you get to eat your lunch at all, by the way?" He asked, not buying that she had a hearty lunch to eat, "I'll comp for everything, so don't worry."

Then, as they got on the elevator, the elevator closing, he decided to ask, "So what are you doing here on the island? I've never seen the likes of you around here before." He says that because he volunteers at the shelter sometimes as his atonement to society and has never seen a girl this small and meek around.

@bae jinyoung yewon certainly didn't expect the guy to offer taking her to the hotel. the hotel isn't that far and he could totally just hand her the umbrella for the short journey and take it back after escorting her to shelter. but if yewon did take away his umbrella, how is she going to return it to him if he continued to stay in the beach? ah, perhaps he was worried of losing this cheap umbrella he has here, maybe that is his only umbrella. yewon makes up the whole story in her mind and agrees in the offer. "thank you."

"i was just having lunch there, really." but she wonders if the guy would ever understand someone who is trying to take a risk in having lunch by the beach even when the skies are grey. it is just how yewon's brain is wired, taking risks and trying to enjoy herself even when the storm is coming. you only live once anyway, plus she could totally foresee herself regretting if she stays indoors, and even more if the sky ends up not raining at all.

"i can totally-" once they head into the hotel, yewon is about to tell her colleague to get her a basic room but the guy made his move instead. did he notice she was wearing the same uniform as the staff and she could totally get a room with staff price? but whatever, she let the guy do his thing while she tries to stay still, knowing that the janitor will come soon and certainly wouldn't want to see the lobby getting wet as if a whole animal shelter has come in from the rain.

"oh, uhm- i will have coffee, thank you." she didn't even notice what the guy was doing until she heard the last question, guessing he is just getting her a drink to warm her up. "i think i can manage it from here, i shouldn't be holding you back too long." after the guy done talking to her colleagues, she looks up at the guy as she tries t assure him she's good.

@choi yewon Between the rain and the wind, Jinyoung couldn't make out much of what she was saying. Being a rude little guy, he didn't ask her to repeat herself, but talked over her instead, pulling her close by the shoulder against the plastic of his wet poncho as he spoke at max volume so she could hear him, "Come on, I'll take you there."

"What were you doing in the rain like this anyway?" He asked as he headed toward the hotel, looking at the girl's dishelved hair, "Do you have anywhere to go?" His heart dropped as he assumed the worse about this stranger. He wouldn't be so heartbroken if he had just listened to her, though.

As they approached the hotel entrance, he let her go in first and shook his umbrella to get the excess water off before following behind her, pulling off his poncho and flashing his widdol tumtum in the process unintentionally uwu but anyways, he stopped the girl from speaking at the counter herself and spoke for her because he wanted to make sure he was the one comping the room, not this homeless looking girl.

"Hi, could I get a room for tonight?" He asked the girl who just covered Yewon's shift, not even mentioning that the room was for her, "You guys have room service, right? Could I also get something hot to drink." He turned around to Yewon and asked her, "What do you like drinking?"

@han dong "I was actually enjoying the sea earlier at work. Today is kind of a day for collecting data so I've been out there." He gestured vaguely towards the direction of the sea. He nodded in understanding, his smile still ever present as he listened to her talk. "Good for you for having a time off. Did you enjoy it well?" He raised an eyebrow as he watched her pull something out of her pocket and upon recognizing the thing she was holding, he could not help but laugh a little. He grinned as he received the small shell, staring at it as he spoke, "Thanks. I appreciate it. I, uh, don't have anything for you."

@lee dongyeol Handong just stood there, enjoying the scenery while he was talking, but at the same time she was very much listening, a small smile that was on her face coupd not be anymore visible. "Greetings, ah I see now, it is indeed nice to take a break and enjoy things. Oh? Pretty much the same except without the work, just enjoying my time off. " she fiddled with her fingers for a while only to stick her hand into a pocket of hers and pulls out a small shell before offering it to him. "Here, I thought you would like it."

@han dong Dongyeol was in the middle of just relaxing in the middle of the beach. He had just gotten off work but he could not really get enough of the sea. The sudden presence next to him in the middle of his stroll surprised him but his expression instantly turned to that of recognition. "Hello there." He greeted, flashing a wide smile. "I'm just having a walk, trying to catch more air after work. What's up with you?"

@bae jinyoung yewon loves rainy days, but at times when her favourite weather is ruining her usual beauty, she really wants to give the sky a middle finger.

after surviving the endless waves of checkouts in the morning, yewon is grateful that her colleagues from the afternoon shift had arrived before her last breath. she was starving, exhausted, and nothing could really heal her except for a therapeutic lunch by the beach. still in her heels, she happily bought some bento before heading towards the beach.

the moment her heels sink into the sand, she could already tell why the beach is quieter and more serene than usual. the sky grumbles as a shade of grey paints the sky, as if the deities up there are still not done with their morning shift and are starving like her. she pauses in her track, taking a moment of hesitation whether she should head indoors. but she has been thinking about lunch by the beach while working, and not fulfilling this wish of hers felt like she would regret later on.

she confidently proceeds to a shady spot under the tree and shows the sky her bento and can of coke. see? if you allow me to peacefully finish my meal, i will thank you forever, she tells whichever deity that could be up there, happily opening up her bento.

obviously the deal was not made, because right after she opened up her bento, she could feel water dripping down her back, and rain started to pour heavily across the beach. yewon mentally curses, very urgently abandoning her bento as she quickly picked up her windbreaker to quickly seek for shelter. abort lunch mission, she whispers, exhaling heavily as she carefully walks in her heels, yet already drenched when the windbreaker could not cover all the rain for her. her makeup is ruined, her hair is messy as hell, and her clothes are all wet, so when she suddenly felt the disappearance of rain, or rather felt some shelter above her, she gratefully looks up, only to a face of a man she finds slightly familiar.

"thank you- and not really," yewon answers his first question, brushing off a strand of hair sticking to her forehead. "i work there, but...maybe it's better to take shelter for now." she pants slightly, looking at the man. "do you mind borrowing me your umbrella?"

@lee dongyeol Carefully strolls along the beach, occasionally picking up various shells and rocks , she looked around and saw a man, with a chuckle she appeared beside him and folded her arms. "Well well hello there , fancy seeing you here." She softly laughed. "What are you up to ? Having a walk or working?"

@choi yewon It was easy to take the beach for granted when you lived on the island. Not that the beauty of the beach ever went away, but it was always hidden behind the collection of tourists that made their way here to enjoy the sun. But on days where the clouds come in and rain out the tourists, the beauty returns.

Clad in a poncho underneath an umbrella, Jinyoung made himself comfortable atop a large boulder as he watched the cloud covered sun set behind the endless ocean with colors of grey and purple painted across the sea and sky. He listened to the rain pitter patter on his umbrella as the scent of wet sand dispersed into the surroundings.

It was as if he were in this summer storm by himself. Jinyoung closed his eyes and took a deep breath, sinking into the moment, feeling his body and breathing relax, his guard resting. He just sat there and took it all in as if he were part of the storm.

But soon, his peace was interrupted by the sound of heavy footsteps. Immediately, he put his guard back up and focused in on the direction of the sound: a petite woman in heels, drenched and huddled in an oversized windbreaker. Her face was wet, makeup running, her hair was in shambles, and Jinyoung felt nothing but pity upon the woman.

Jinyoung hopped off the boulder, landing on his cute little rainboots, and headed toward the wet woman, offering his umbrella to shield her from the rain. "Are you okay?" He inquired as he looked her from head to toe, "There's a hotel nearby if you need shelter."
