@✿ l. ten i will if i still have problems with it by the time my appointment comes around. the waking up in the middle of the night is recent but i've been waking up every morning full of anxiety when i started to go downhill again.

@✿ h. sooyoung aaaaah, okay. well maybe give melatonin or some kind of sleeping supplement/pill a try since you're having problems sleeping and if you're open to it later. have you been like... experiencing this since you started taking the meds, or have you been going through it before?

@✿ l. ten i wouldn't know if they work cause i've never taken any before, jfjf. i've always slept enough or too much so i never had to take them. i'd have to get some if i decided to though.

@✿ h. sooyoung rip it's good that you're not getting nightmares too much but that sounds like it's not a good side effect rip. and are you able to take things like melatonin and stuff? remind me if that works for you because i believe i asked you before dnsjnfjga.

@✿ l. ten i don't get sleep paralysis but i have been getting a couple nightmares here and there. it's hard for me to fall asleep and my sleep keeps getting disrupted so i'm just exhausted honestly. it better be worth it, hfjdh. not really. i just try super hard to fall back asleep after i wake up while my heart's pounding in my chest.

@✿ h. sooyoung rip, that sounds so ing terrible. ;; do you get sleep paralysis and nightmares and stuff too? like, do you just wake up scared af or is it actually affecting the way you sleep too? either way it is, i do hope you can get through it rip. and if you're ever up and need someone to help keep you calm/distract you, do you have someone?

@✿ l. ten i am, but i think i can tough it out for now. it is extremely unpleasant, hhfjd. i keep waking up in the middle of the night with full blown panic and then i can't go back to sleep after. i need the side effects to go away rfn.

@✿ h. sooyoung are you willing and able to take an anti-anxiety med too if need be? that sounds kinda... not pleasant ndsnjfgnj. i know some docs don't recommend that too but yeah. if you need it, you need it, yknow? also hoping that you will see results before the six weeks is up and that your appointment goes well when it happens.

@✿ l. ten it is, and it's been giving me more anxiety and insomnia so i'm barely alive. hfjfj. it does kick in later for some people so i'll just hold onto the six weeks total. if the side effects don't go away by then i'm gonna have to be on something else. thank you though. <3

and that's quite some time on the meds then. i'd give it two more weeks and then be like "okay, wtf?" after. iirc, antidepressants take about 4 weeks to kick in (at least the ones i've been on) so i'd give it a little more time for sure. and good luck with it too!! hopefully, it still works out well for you!!

also, uh... did you want them to be? i'm okay whether you want a fresh start with yv or not, but i do want to continue things personally.

so far two and a half weeks. i have four weeks before my next appointment so we'll see how i fare by then. it's the same antidepressant i was on back in 2018-2019 so hopefully it works this time too?? it kicks in at different times for different people.
