@• ayaka • Looks much better than mine
/says with a short laugh as my eyes take in the outside scenery when you spin the camera around to showcase it, letting out a small 'woah' in amazement at all the green area that surrounds your campus/
Of course~ Gotta take whatever breaks I have to catch up with you too
/slides in playfully, taking a few seconds to take the glass to my lips and gulp down a good bit of my drink before speaking again/
It's been going alright, rather slow and easy since I'm just an intern but that's pretty much what I'd been expecting... What about your practice? Still waiting for the day you'll videocall me so I can get a glimpse of it

@• ayaka • /lets out a small laugh offering a quick nod/
Don't worry, I'd never let you visit without bringing you here at least once!
/he assures his friend, turning to give the bartender a quick 'thank you' when he slide him his drink over the table/
You sure you're done? I can call you back later if you needed some more time?
/he suggested not wanting to interrupt Ayaka's study time, but the girl was quick to wrap her things up reassuring him that it was fine and a little excited to see how the girl's campus looks since they'd never gotten a chance to show it/
It's been doing good! No classes tomorrow so i thought I'd take today to relax... How about you? Studies draining you much?

@• kokomi • Venti blinked and tilted his head "uh.. other flowers for wine.. I'm sure that could possibly work.. wait.. right here?" he asked, looking at the girl with a small purse of his lips "I don't see why not.. it could be a bit of an experiment and could take some time for the brewing but I could try, yeah."

He blinked a bit before fiddling with the end of his braid "do you have the flowers with you?"

@• ayaka • /getting the day off, I picked one of my usual hang out spots to spend it at, stopping only to order a drink before taking a seat. while waiting for thr bartender to make it, I quickly slipped my phone out of my pocket and pressed it a few times until your picture popped up, the outgoing call screen lasting only a few seconds before your own video pushed mine into the bottom corner/ Aya! How are you? /I greet brightly, offering a short wave right back/ I'm doing good, break day so i'm just enjoying it out and thought I'd show you one of my favorite spots /he replies with a short laugh before flipping his camera so he could show her around a little before switching back to his own face/ Something like that, the atmosphere is great really! What about you, what are you up to?

@✾ venti • really? that's marvelous! ah, well... i was wondering, venti- let's say that i would like to test this theory out in which instead of dandelions, we use some other kind of flower to make wine; do you think that would be possible? as in, possible right here and right now?

internally cringing at herself, kokomi didn't know how else to word what she wanted to try out. it was an experiment that she could have easily tried to work out herself back at home- but what better way to make an alcoholic drink than in the presence of a bartender; whose actual job is serving and mixing drinks.
✾ venti • 1 year ago
@• kokomi • Venti smiled and nodded "mhm~ anything can actually be used to make wine and alcoholic drinks. Because all it needs is some time for it to ferment and release the natural alcoholic substances into the mixture~" he said, tilting his head "hm?"

He tilted his head when the female stopped her words by finishing off the drink "you wonder what?"

"It's nice to meet you~ I'm Venti~ welcome to Mondstadt~"

@✾ venti • dandelion petals? oh! so like, a flowering plant was used to make such wine? hmm, interesting... i actually never figured that a flower could be used as the main ingredient for an alcoholic drink! mmm, well... the thing is- i don't particularly fancy alcohol, but i do have to say that it tasted quite lovely! it wasn't too bitter, nor was it too sweet. i actually wonder though..

finishing the remaining liquid left in the glass as quickly as possible, kokomi scrunched up her nose in thought. if the said flower was able to create a drink that many individuals enjoyed- perhaps any other flower could be used as a substitute. deep in her thoughts, kokomi glanced back at the bartender. obviously, she wasn't quite sure if this was going to work, but she had to try out her theory one way or the other. though first, she had to befriend the bartender before proceeding with her plan.

say... i never got your name. i'm kokomi, from inazuma! and you are?

@• kokomi • Venti smiled and bowed his head to the female "not a problem~ Let me know if you need anything else!" he said before going back to the counter to rearrange a couple things. He looked around to see if any customers needed anything before looking at the female when he was called and wandered back over.

"hm? Oh yes! We use dandelion petals to make the wine along with some lemon and citrus" he said, tilting his head "How do you like it?"

@✾ venti • watching the bartender bring her the things she ordered, kokomi mouthed a thank you to him before glancing over at the plate of food in front of her. the golden flaky exterior surrounded each corner of the hash brown. digging into her food, kokomi let out a soft hum; savouring the crunchy and light taste of the speciality. surely she hit gold on this.

wrapping her fingers around the glass, kokomi admired the appearance of the strange liquid. by now, she should have probably regretted her decision to order the glass of dandelion wine. alcohol- it has never been something she liked. however, the florist had to convince herself that all of this was for research purposes. downing the drink, kokomi squinted her eyes slightly- trying to make sense of the flavourings of the drink. directing her attention back to the bartender, kokomi raised her hand.

uhm, hello! i have a small question... what are the contents that make up this dandelion wine? do they actually use real dandelion in it?
✾ venti • 1 year ago
@• kokomi • Venti smiled widely and nodded "Oh yes of course! One dish of mondstadt hash browns coming rrright up!" he said, pouring the wine in the glass and sliding it carefully towards the female before turning to head towards the kitchen to put in the order for the hash browns before coming back out.

He blinked when he overheard the couple customers talking about a battle adn shook his head "ah no I don't recommend that.. you will enjoy the wine better if you drink it slowly and savor it" he then turned back to the kitchen and brought out the hash browns and set it in front of the female "here you go~"
✾ kokomi • 1 year ago
@✾ venti • thank you! uhm... could i have it along with some mondstadt hash-browns, please? i heard they taste really good. and if you have anything to recommend, i would love to try it as well!

easing herself onto the stool, kokomi shifted her attention to the other customers who were either having a lively conversation or battling at it with who could drink their wine the fastest. stifling a giggle, kokomi perked up a little as she watched the bartender grab her drink.

@• kokomi • It hasn't been long since Venti had working at the Angel's Share. He had loved working here and getting to meet so many different people from different places. He had been behind the bar counter cleaning and washing the cups when someone entered the tavern and turned, smiling widely.

"Welcome to Angel's Share! Would you like anything to eat with the dandelion wine?" he asked, grabbing a wine glass and the bottle of freshly brewed dandelion wine.

@✾ venti • kokomi figured that taking a trip to mondstadt for a small research vacation wouldn't hurt anyone- let alone herself. thus, with a packed bag, kokomi ventured from inazuma to liyue harbor before eventually making a stop in mondstadt. it was quaint and sizeably small, but it sure felt like a beautiful place to be acquainted.

with a skip in her step, kokomi became aware by the locals that the number one place to visit as a tourist was the angel's share which was apparently a lovely tavern that also had one of the best produced wines in all of teyvat. surely kokomi couldn't say no to such an offer that arose. eventually making a stop at the tavern's door, kokomi opened it with much enthusiasm and was immediately greeted by the warming ambience. finding a place to sit where the bartender stood, kokomi smiled at him.

hello! do you by any chance have some dandelion wine i could try?
