@• cyno • ˢʰ Had he been in his right mind, he would have been having a small breakdown over his own actions, knowing it could have gone wrong a least fifty ways but in the moment, he was in heaven. The comment would have made him turn his nose up but he was more concerned with trying to kiss the younger until he was positive he'd end up passing out. Tighnari let his grip ease at some point, hands moving up slowly, the opposite direction, to tangle his fingers within the white locks he adored so much. When it came to expirience, he wasn't very high on the list and due to the lack of intimacy, he was a little easy when it came to touches, his tail giving away everything his drunk mind wasn't. He would normally put up a decent fight for dominance but he couldn't help but turn to putty, head tilting and lips parting. Everything was becoming just a little uncomfortable, his skin becoming far too hot to feel content with how he was but that didn't stop him by any means, if anything, it just meant he wanted to get his clothes off sooner. It didn't help that he was pressed flush against the latter.

The whine that spilled from him was one he would vehemently deny to his grave come morning, eyes finally opening to peek up at him, hazy and still blurry. His nose scrunched up and he showed a tiny pout, letting his hands fall from his hair to rest over his chest. 'Wha's stopping you..?' He couldn't hide the slur that came with downing vodka but he'd at least sobered up just enough to know what was happening. The fox flinched a bit at the touch before pressing into it, a visble shudder running from him at chilly fingertips. He was more than happy to return the kiss, settling with ease on Cyno's lap and fitting against him with a soft groan. 'Didn't do anything,' he muttered, dropping his head to press kisses along the latter's jaw and down his neck, open mouthed and letting canines brush over the skin.

@• tighnari • The sudden kiss made Cyno's eyes widen yet he couldn't help but smile. His arms around the other and deepening the kiss. " You have no fear at all" he pulled back from the kiss for a bit to catch his breath yet he went back to kissing Tighnari feeling like this was all a dream and he didn't want to let go. He could taste caramel vodka on his lips. At first, he wanted to go slow with the kiss but the wait and now that he had the only person in the world that he wanted to be within his arms, he wanted to enjoy the moment. His hands moved up to run his fingers through Tighnari's hair and down his jaw, caressing his cheek before increasing the intensity of the kiss. How far would he go? Cyno asked himself as he felt like could just make TIghnari melt into his arms all night. With their bodies pressed together heatedly against each other, cyno could hear the thud of their combined heartbeat. Then he pulled back and nudged his nose against his as a small chuckle left his lips. "There are so many things I want to do with you" with his heart beating faster and faster, his hands slipped under's Tighnari's shirt feeling the warm sensation of his skin against his own cold hands. " mm so warm" he kissed him again as he decided to take it a step further as he sat down on the bed and moved tighnari to his lap. " Such a clever fox " he teased.

@• cyno • ˢʰ Upon seeing the familiar face, an involuntary whine left from the back of his throat and his ears drooped, the word vomit already building up but it was cut off. Tighnari was beyond the point to mind the closeness and wanted nothing more than to nuzzle up to him but even that was taken from him; even in a somewhat drunk state he was already getting annoyed at the interruptions. 'Nothin' happened,' he mumbled with a faint pout, wondering if he was going to be rejected before he got anything off his chest. He went along reluctantly and sat down, looking up to him with furrowed brows. 'I didn't come here to be babied..' he mumbled, that slur pretty prominent to his words but he couldn't do anything about that and it wouldn't go away until Cyno wasn't close to a blur. Shaking his head, he set the glass aside and huffed; 'No! No- I, I didn't come here for.. for a social visit.' With his brain barely functioning, he would just have to trust that he was using the right words. Instead of trying to explain him and end up a crying, emotional mess he did what had started this problem to begin with; he got up and kissed the latter. It was backed by everything he'd felt the past few days, somewhat messy from the drinking but still hungry and his hands curled tightly to the fabric of his sweater, almost scared he'd be pushed away. He had nothing to lose in that moment.

@• tighnari • It had been a while since Cyno began studying. He checked his watch as a sudden knock came from his door. Maybe it the RA but it was already so late. As he walked to the door, he grabbed his sweater and opened the door " Hel- Nari I mean Tighnari? " He was shocked to see a drunk Tighnari standing infornt of his door. Completely different than how he saw him during the school days. " come in " he peaked his head out and looked to the sides to make sure nobody was walking around or watching. He closed the door as he hugged Tighnari close to him. Once the door was locked, he looked down a bit at Tighnari wondering why he was suddenly like this. " what happened to you?" He led Tighnari to the bed and sat him down and went to get the other a glass of water to sober him up. " Tighnari you want something to eat ? " He asked handing him a glass of ice water.

@• cyno • ˢʰ Upset barely came close to describing how Tighnari felt as he'd packed his bag and returned to his home, nearly breaking the table by the door with how he dropped his keys and bag on it. He'd really screwed himself on the situation and couldn't begin to figure out how to fix it; he'd pondered leaving it alone entirely but seeing Cyno in the halls was going to be a problem if there was no closure at all for their little scene. Settling at the counter with a bottle, he tried distracting himself with grading papers, pretty easily losing his count of the drinks he'd had, brain gradually getting to the point of not focusing at all on the papers. The anger he had evaporated and the regret was taking its place, overcoming his thoughts and wanting to make it right; Tighnari never left anything unfinished and he wasn't about to start.

Smelling like salted caramel vodka, he didn't let it cross his mind twice as he was shuffling out the front door, nearly missing twice as he grabbed his keys. His phone and everything else was forgotten on the counter as he had only one goal in mind; seeing Cyno. Getting from his front door, across campus and to the dorms was not an easy task, especially for someone who couldn't walk or see straight, but he made it, slowly but surely. The idea of being seen in such a state wasn't on his mind and he'd probably have to explain something away in the morning. He had a losing battle with the front door before making his way up the stairs, somehow without falling, before he was at the right door. The numbers were blurry so he wasn't sure they were right but that didn't stop him from beginning to knock, a bit hard and rather quickly.

@• tighnari • Cyno had a lot to say but no words came out as he watched Tighnari walk away. Tighnari was right, cyno didn't even let him explain and now there was a big problem between them. " Nari..." his head hung low ad he turned and went on his way to his dorm. The walk back to his dorm was long and he thinking and rethinking if things had turned out differently, he glanced at the box in his hand. He wanted to go back and give it to Tighnari and tell him that he was sorry yet he decided to wait. Maybe Monday would be different and he would get the chance to give it to him. Finally reaching his dorm, he unlocked his room and went inside taking his backpack off and setting it down on the couch before lighting a candle. As the scent filled the room, he sat down sighing a few times. It took him a bit he stop thinking so negatively and get up. To ease his mind, he began doing homework to keep himself busy as well yet even the homework reminded him of Tighnari and the way he explain the homework. " I miss him..." he mumbled. There were a lot of things Cyno wanted to say to Tighnari yet the words from the other came back. The fact that they were student and teacher doing this was already crossing the line but Cyno felt since they were adults they could continue on but Tighnari set the line and set boundaries. It was hard to even get him to ease his " teacher" side.

@• cyno • ˢʰ Emotions weren't a strong point for the fox, especially ones that may or may not interfere with his job, and when it came to them, he preferred they stayed buried deep inside rather than on display. Yes, it was a bad plan but he'd grown up with a very horrible habit of avoiding things he didn't think he could handle; making sure Cyno never got ahold of him in the halls for several days was a result. When Saturday came and he arrived on campus, he more or less hid in his class, trying not to cry over what he was doing; he was being stupid and it was entirely his own fault. His head was in his hands and his ears were back, hoping to himself that maybe the latter found someone else or went to the garden alone, the idea of him actually being upset bothering him far too much. His wishful thinking went out the window when the door opened and he lifted his head, putting the pitiful expression on display that matched red lined eyes.

He couldn't do anything besides listen and stare at his, not trusting his own voice to make any responses. He did this to himself and he honestly didn't have a leg to stand on; he deserved all of it. His eyes shifted away to avoid reading the email and he couldn't help but want to comment on the fact he had lied, as well, then. Tighnari frowned at the gift being pushed into his hand and his lips parted to speak, but he was met with the door. Sighing deeply, he did his best to keep calm as he got up, making his way out the door quickly in attempts to catch him; he didn't want to do it in the middle of the hallway, but he had no choice. Catching up, he reached to grab the latter's hand, whether it was to stop him or keep up with him, he was okay with either.

'I am fully aware that I ed up, Cyno,' he began and he didn't think much of the fact he'd never cussed on schools grounds, 'I didn't show up and I did it on purpose. I hoped you'd find someone else and just.. forget that you invited me and I should have handled it better. At no point was I playing with your emotions; do you think me so low to do that? I kissed you.. because I wanted to tell you I felt the same without saying it because, because I, am incredibly terrible with emotions and feelings.' Tighnari lowered his head as he spoke, 'I transfered you because I didn't know if I could really bring myself to focus on helping you after that but.. in your eyes, it must be okay to lie to me, too, then? If you didn't need it, you should have been honest. You can't call me out on being a hypocrite when you're doing just the same.' Shifting around, he pushed the box back into Cyno's hand and stepped back, bringing his own up to wipe away the few tears that fell. 'Take it. Since I'm honestly not even good enough for the smallest gift right now. Take it and leave, since you'd rather do that then speak to me.'

@• tighnari • The rest of the week rolled by and Cyno felt the excitement but now he found himself sitting down at the stairs of the University waiting and waiting. Four passed then 5 and now it was 6pm. He sat there hoping that the tutoring had gone a bit longer than he had planned. " Nari....you lair" cyno covered his eyes as he sighed. This made his suspicion clear. Tighnari was ignoring him and it was breaking his heart. Usually it would be easy to see him during the week and ask quick questions or pass him in the hallways but this week since Monday it was hard to even see the tip of his ears roaming the halls. Getting up from the stairs he went in the building to look for the fox. Going up the stairs he thought about what to say and decided to just pretend to be okay but as soon as he entered the room after seeing the lights on, different words came from his lips.

" Is it fun playing with someone's emotions, Tighnari?" He walked slowly towards Tighnari trying to keep the anger and frustration that he felt on low. " I waited for you outside, I waited....you could have canceled if you didn't want to come or you could have said no instead of hurting my feelings!" He looked up his tears at the edge of falling. " let me remind you....you were the one who kissed me creating this feeling of this false happiness in my heart and now y-you made your point clear, im just a student and you are a teacher and I will never be someone in your eyes" and then he took out his phone and set down infront of Tighnari on an email. " read it, you even transferred me to another tutor....cancel it...I don't need a tutor anymore. I only acted like i needed help to be with you" he took his phone practically snatching it and turned to reach into his backpack for a small box then contained a resin keychain with the letter T and had a mini version of a botanical garden and gave it to Tighnari. " im leaving....have a good night " he turned to leave and closed the door finally letting his tears come down.

@• cyno • ˢʰ As he escaped the room, Tighnari couldn't find a single word that described everything he was feeling; he wasn't sure if he wanted to throw up or pass out, he wasn't even sure if he wanted to stay on campus any longer for the remainder of the day. He'd found himself in one of the bathrooms relatively close his classroom, trying to calm the panic that had him on edge; what if he had been wrong? What if he really did read all of the signals incorrectly? He could lose his job for such a stupid mistake. The only thing that got him out of the restroom was a call for his attention at the main office and he considered it a saving grace, heading that way with an urgency he never really had. He'd forgotten his bag, however. The meeting involved another students progress and lasted longer than he wanted, his mind full of nothing but what he was going to do about Cyno; he felt like he was entirely screwed on the matter. After getting out, he made his way back to the restroom to get his back, sighing deeply to himself. 'Should probably go ahead and plan on taking that transfer,' he mumbled to himself, stepping out just in time to see Cyno going his seperate ways from the class.

He debated for a moment on following him, on apologizing and coming up with something, anything, but he stopped himself. Tighnari knew it wasn't against school policy considering he wasn't his teacher but that didn't stop him from stressing to the point his ears went down. Upon entering his classroom once more, he out in a note for Cyno to transfer to another professor for tutoring and made a mental note to try not to be on campus Saturday, at least not to be seen.

@• tighnari • Just when Cyno was about to answer the question, he felt the warmth and softness of Tighnari's lips pressing against his. " nari..." he was in a daze as his one and only crush had kissed him out of nowhere. Was Tighnari jealous on the way Cyno was talking about his "crush". " yes....4pm..." he watched as the other walked out happy yet disappointed as he wanted to spend more time with Tighnari after not seeing him for the whole week. " ahh I'm losing my mind...he kissed me" he smiled softly reliving the moment. It was sudden yet he remembered it. It took him a while to get out of the daze and continue his homework. Tighnari wasn't the one to mess with when it came to homework and school. About two hours later, Cyno finished his homework and got up after making copies just incase Tighnari made corrections. " Cyno! There you are" he heard a sudden voice as he packed his things and left the copies on Tighnari's desk. " Candace, what brings you here?" He asked walking towards her. As he entered the hallway, he looked around a bit to see if Tighnari was near but sadly he wasn't. " listen, I got to go look for professor Tighnari and maybe tomorrow I can help you woth your project" he gave a apologetic smile and walked off.

Guessing he would just have to wait until Saturday made the days pass slower. He was excited to show the garden Tighnari ad he loved seeing his expressions and hearing him talk on and on about his interests and how his eyes glowed made Cyno so happy and also he wanted to talk Tighnari to the garden as a way to express his thank you although maybe Tighnari was going to see it as a learning experience. " should I bring him a gift? " He stopped infornt of a flower shop just as an idea popped into his mind.

@• cyno • ˢʰ 'Yes, it does.' Tighnari was trying his best to focus on work, reading over the questions he had prepared for the latter to test just how well he'd been listening. He was saddened however, when he pulled away and he had to keep his ears from pressing back - he couldn't exactly be that obvious. He was a teacher, they were on campus; that wasn't okay. 'Cyno.. I'm a professor here and you are a student. When you graduate, I'll let me guard down.. until then, we have business to do.' He didn't make it a habit to be around students often, separating business and personal very strongly, so he wouldn't be too open. His thoughts were broken at the words and he sighed deeply, wanting nothing more than to reach up and pop the back of the latter's head. '4 meters,' he commented rather strictly, 'am I not teaching you well enough? Maybe you need a different tutor.'

He hummed at the question, gesturing for him to continue. Tighnari was silent as he listened and honestly, he was far from stupid and it didn't take long for it to settle in. 'I would assume this date starts at 4pm Saturday?' He questioned, closing the folder in front of him, 'I'm not very fond of the term 'adorable'.' He could feel his gut twist and turn, knowing he was possibly about to make a mistake; a mistake that he'd never live down. Shifting in his spot, he leaned across to press a his lips against Cyno's, something brief that he pulled away from after only a few seconds, straightening himself. 'I have a class to prepare for later..finish your homework. I /will/ be grading it later.' With that, he quickly gathered his things and fled from the room; his own classroom.

@• tighnari • Hearing that there was another student that also took time with Tighnari, he knew he shouldn't feel jealousy but je couldnt help. The thought of Tighnari smiling to another student or another student seeing how cute his ears and tail twiched when he was happy or excited. " right work calls" he mumbled. After a long time of knowing Tighnari and his habit to ignore all possible small talk and only due what he was there to do, Cyno pulled away from Tighnari's personal bubble and smiled awkwardly in a way. " you can let your guard now a bit around me....right...? Just be....you and after this ill buy you something to eat " he turned his head a bit away from Tighnari. " or nevermind....just whatever let's just stud, right the roots of an otogi tree.... deep very deep" cyno felt like he was pushing the boundaries too much and he didn't wanted Tighnari to feel uncomfortable after him now that he had build up this much of a " friendship " if he could call it that. Soon after speaking, Cyno got lost in his thoughts about his homework.

Five minutes Cyno decided that this was hard sitting next to his crush and feeling his glaze. " Can I tell you something? I feel like i can only to you about it ...There's this person I like....I umm they are adorable in every way and I was thinking of confessing to them soon....on a date" he gave a small hint but was unsure if Tighnari got it but he felt like he had said something that Tighnari could have taken the wrong way.

@• cyno • ˢʰ 'That sounds doable.' Tighnari was good at keeping his composure, his expression trained to not show more than what he wanted, but maybe his tail flickered without his knowledge and his ears twitched when his heart rate went up. 'I will be on campus Saturday, so I suppose that would be the easiest option.. I've got another student who takes private lessons,' he answered, sliding a paper across to him, tapping his finger against it, 'Why have you not been able to memorize how deeply the roots to an Otogi tree grow?' As much as he wanted to sit and talk to him and waste time, he still had work to do.

His eyebrow raised at the question and he hummed faintly. 'It was a day,' he answered, not wanting to get too caught up in small talk; he was good with composure until he was made to stay around Cyno too long. His eyes flickered towards his, searching his features as he took note of how close he was; 'I have not.'

@• tighnari • Hearing his reply, Cyno couldn't help but smile " So... this Saturday around 4pm" he wanted if he wanted him to pick him up but he felt like that question was too much. " we can meet here at school or like at the ice cream store down the street" he sat up on his chair and glanced at Tighnari. " but now moving on to your study plan." He opened his notebook trying to focus on his studies yet when he was with tighnari, the only thing he could hear is his heartbeating loudly and the heat of his cheeks. " how was your day? " he leaned in closer to Tighnari gulping quietly. He was determined to make these two hours worthwhile. " you ate right?" He flashed a slime unable to contain his excitement.

@• cyno • ˢʰ Getting tired of his inability to focus, he tucked the papers away into their folder and began cleaning up his desk; he was more concerned in making sure he has everything prepared for his tutoring session. Getting up, he roamed around and straightened other things around the class, always wanting to make sure his room looked neat. His tail flickered and his ears twitched at hearing the footsteps fall in the hallway, a familiar scent reaching him before the door even opened; he returned to his desk. He had been so caught up in the latter than his senses entirely missed the treats delivered, blinking up to him a few times. 'Oh,' he mumbled, offering a small smile, 'thank you.'

Tighnari listened with a faint hum of acknowledgment. 'I'm glad you're doing so well. You won't need my help soon,' he commented, trying not to let his disappointment slip into his tone. At the question, he turned his attention to looking over the schedule he'd made for them, for what Cyno needed to focus on but found his ability to focus once more distracted as he began talking. Lifting his gaze to show he was paying attention, he couldn't help but already feel terrible for the answer he was going to give. 'It wouldn't really be appropriate for me to join you on such a trip off campus,' he answered, being completely honest but he wondered if the way his heart began racing could be heard, 'however.. I'm not your teacher and.. the study of the garden would also parallel with your other work..' He trailed off, pulling out the paper he needed. 'I'd love to accompany you.'

@• tighnari • After a day filled with lectures and almost falling asleep in his class, Cyno could finally breathe after the clock. " he's going to be angry if I'm late again" he ran through the campus but he stopped at the cafe. Then he got an idea. It wasn't always that he showed his appreciation for people but for Tighnari's hard work well he wanted his token of appreciation towards him. " Hello can I get two strawberry milkshakes and two cake pops please?" he paid. Not long after once his order was out, he grabbed it wanting to run but he decided to just walk hoping the milkshakes would be enough to calm Tighnari. " I'm here!" he announced. Ah, he could hear his heart beating at the sight of what he felt was a one-sided crush. " I got you a milkshake and some cake pops" he set his things down glancing a few times at Tighnari.

Finally settling down, he smiled " Okay so I got a 98 on my test, I got confused on a question but thanks to you my grades are well". It was all thanks to this cute, wonderful teacher to teach him all he knows. " What will we do today?" he snapped out of his daydreaming laughing a bit nervously. Of course, there was more he wanted to do with Tighnari besides studying but he didn't want to ruin this weekly meeting with just them alone. " oh I was going to ask you, you can say no but I heard that a new botanical garden might open up soon and well I know how much you like nature and you were the only person who came to mind" he looked back down at his laptop to hide the bright red blush on his cheeks. He was ready to hear no from Tighnari at any time. " I would love it if you did come...with me" he whispered.

@• cyno • ˢʰ Settled at his desk, now three hours after his last class, Tighnari stared at the paper before him with an expression that made it clear he'd read it five times without comprehending a single word. He couldn't seem to find it in him to actually read the thesis, glancing at the top to remind himself who had even turned it in; he wasn't having the best of days and nothing seemed to be working out for him. From his morning starting with nearly burning his skin off with tea to almost tripping and throwing his lunch all over the place, he wanted nothing more than to return home and sleep for two weeks. His ears twitched at the telltale sounds of students in the hall, heading to classes or luckily home, reminding him that he needed to finish his paperwork and go through a two hour tutor session. His mood took a slight turn at the reminder, wondering if the male would end up early or late, like last time.

Brushing off his curiosities, he was determined to focus on the papers and get them done before anyone showed up. His ears laid back slightly and his eyes narrowed, even mumbling the words allowed to see if it would help; it didn't. Tighnari's found his thoughts drifting to someone, a specific someone that he'd hope to see sooner rather than later. He found himself glancing at the door a few times and then the clock, torturing himself.
