When the question was reciprocated, she hums as she is quite not sure how to respond to it though she likes the idea of having a significant other alongside her as well as having a booming career. "Hmm.. I must say, we do think alike. I also want a balance between love and work. We all need money in order to live and support ourselves or our families". She beams and pressing her lips together afterwards, shivering lightly as she feels his slim fingers running through her imperfectly combed hair strands. Silently praying that there won't be any tangles along the way as that would be embarassing to see his fingers stuck on one of her strands. She extends a hand just to touch his cheek shortly with a smile. "I appreciate how you are honest with me, Seunghyub. All those words are taken into account". Grinning happily, she retracts her hand and lets it rest back into her lap. "Mhm, we can definitely drink while playing games. That will be extra fun, I think?". She agreed before opening in preparation for the perfectly scooped ice cream that soon lands her palate. She loved how it wasn't too sweet, just the right amount the melts into oh so smoothly. The crepe was surprisingly good as well, a perfect combo for a dessert. After finishing a few bites, she grabbed her glass of water and washes away the remnants of the sweet dessert before responding to him. "Mhm, okay then, Mr. Hot Guy. Thank you for this amazing brunch. I enjoyed it". A cheeky smile brightens up her face as she expresses her appreciation to the male, her internal self is already thinking of getting back to work to finish everything so that she can already meet him again after work, at his bookstore.

Seunghyub let his fingers lightly linger over her hair for a few more moments, extending it as long as possible as this was the closest physical contact they’d had for… literal years, aside from the when they reconnected ages ago. He hummed initially in response, speaking afterwards. “That depends on what our priorities will be later on. Would you choose love or work? Personally, I’d like a balance of both. Love can’t pay the bills, but it does keep you going. It’s not like we’re down on our luck either, we just do our work now while we don’t have someone.” he spoke freely, words spilling out of him, almost with no filter. “But of course, I’d make time for the most important person in my life, no matter what. And if they respect my work ethic, even better, right? And… of course, I mean it. I’m not the type to lie about these things, haha.” More words spilling, ending his statement with a gentle smile, as he always liked to do with her. “Drinking games alone with you? Safer than me embarrassing myself in public, sure.” He nodded at her question on the food, the ice cream fully gone and melted down his throat. He tried his best not to blush at her calling him cute again. His personal image of himself was never soft or cute or sweet, most people deemed him intimidating or in some ways, charming, but never really cute. Not unless he smiled, he guessed. He followed Sohee’s lead, continuing to grab some of the crepe for himself, picking up small bits of ice cream as he should. It was the perfect choice to end their brunch. All he could do now was pay, possibly take her back to her office if she didn’t have a ride, and then wait it out until it was time for them to hang out at his bookstore and then go on vacation weeks later. It was all aligning in his head like he was writing a calendar, and he wished there would be more events to fill it with. “We can pay for our own dishes if you’re the type to split the bill, but I’ll pay for this, okay? Since I requested it, it’s only right.” He had to mention if she was the type, he was hoping he’d just pay for it all.

Sohee paused her actions when she felt his hands again on her hair, secretly delighted at the feeling as she finds it soothing to be touched in the head - she acts a fool and fixes her bangs too while she allows him to do his thing. "Hmm is that so? Aren't we alike then- I mean it's good that we value our job. Maybe we are this busy because we know we don't have a significant other yet. I wonder.. will it still be the same, being busy always if we ever have one-" She freely speaks her mind at how curious she gets at this kind of situation although she know to herself very well that if she will ever date /him/ for real, she will have all the time in the world just to be able to spend time with him. Lifting her gaze back to the male as she kept getting distracted, she finds it oddly satisfying to hear him say those lines. She wonders if he truly means what he say towards her while she adjusts on her seat and crosses her legs this time, her skirt still covering half of her thighs. "Do you really mean that? I am up for some games. Maybe a bit of truth or dare too while having a drink? Oh- right we both love to drink." She emphasizes as she fairly remembered how it all started - them meeting at a friend's party. Oh, what a good time. Suddenly putting up a shy smile as she gets compliments from the male and just proceeds on feeding him some more. Admiring how cute he looks like whenever he excitedly opens up his mouth to take the food she offers him. "You're so grrr. Cute. Does it really taste good?". Surprised at the mirrored gesture, she grinned cheekily first before leaning close to the fork and gladly receives the piece of crepe to . As usual, she hums in ecstasy and puts a hand on Seunghyub's thigh to squeeze it. "Oh gosh, that is really good. Let's eat some more". She responds as she lifts a fork by herself and starts feeding herself this time, emitting a satisfied hum at every bite.
@✽ sohee h. The male playfully mirrored Sohee’s squinty-eyed expression, with a stupid grin on his face instead, and narrowly avoiding where her hands could reach his hair. It seemed she didn’t really want to purposely ruin his ‘do anyway. He felt a twinge of guilt, both his hands easily moving up to fix her hair, stroking it down to neatness gently like it was earlier. “I did not plant a CCTV. I said that because I have a habit of doing that too. I didn’t think you’d agree with it?” he spoke, chuckling at the end of his words. He was a lot like her, in full control of his schedule but still giving himself so much work because he loved his job just like she did hers. “I do, I love taking care of my shop… but we need rest. Anyone does.” His eyes dropped as his hand did, following hers to very briefly glance at her fingers on her lap, before he looked away politely. He didn’t want to be caught staring at her legs for too long. “I know, I do… um, want to get to know you better, Sohee.” he started to say, seeing if he sounded like he wanted to get to know her in a more than platonic way. “This brunch is just the tip of the iceberg, we’ll know more about each other eventually. We can even play some fun games while glamping. Packing so early, too! Efficient, as I expected.” he praised her, scrunching up his nose and tilting his head back when she pinched his nose bridge. “Hey— oh wow…” he was about to protest playfully at her action, then seeing the ice cream on the crepe, was just hypnotized by it. It looked absolutely delectable. “Oh, you’re feeding m– ah…” he made an audible sound as he opened his mouth, trying to feel his insides flutter as Sohee was really feeding him dessert. He let the ice cream melt on his tongue, nodding. “Delicious, you try.” He took initiative and picked up the fork, taking off some of the crepe and then mixing it with a dollop of ice cream on top, nearing the portion towards Sohee this time.
@✽ seunghyub l. "This guy seriously isn't just a hot guy I see, a prompt one too". She teased playfully as she nudges his arm, inhaling sharply when he tried to ruin her neatly combed hair. "Hey..." She playfully narrows her eyes and reaches to return the gesture, but her hand barely touched his strands. She feigned an annoyed expression but in reality, she just wants him to do it some more. A little affection makes a whole lot of difference. She manages to squeeze his fingers when he placed a hand on top of hers and slowly lets her hand fall back to her side when he retracted after a few seconds. Hearing him tell her that she only takes a short break during lunch felt like she was hit by an arrow. With a guilty chuckle, she rubs her nape a bit with a small smile. "How'd you know that? Did you plant a CCTV in my office? Now you are making me feel guilty. I should definitely learn how to take a break from work but I love what I'm doing that I don't even notice that it's taking up so much of my time. I bet you do the same too when it comes to your passion?" She gazes at him through her curtain bangs to see his reaction, blinking rather slowly when he cupped her chin. That little gesture made her heart skip a bit, knowing that they're in a public place and that Seunghyub didn't bother being affectionate with her. She drops her gaze and collects her thought, her fingers playing with the hem of her skirt. "You're welcome? i figured it can be a fun way to get to know each other more, right? Gosh, I'm just so excited about it. I might pack my things as early as today". She giggled jokingly before reaching to pinch the bridge of his nose gently. Her attention shifting back to the waiter when he arrives with a sophisticated food plating. Recognizing the ice cream sitting prettily on top of the crepe. "Ooh, will you look at that masterpiece. Looks yum". She lets the waiter grab all their empty plates and she grabs a small fork that was offered to them followed by a small spoon. Her main target of course is the ice cream so she scraped a small part of it and brings it to Seunghyub's mouth. "Here you go".
@✽ sohee h. “Yeah, I did reserve it quick.” Seunghyub was already planning on paying for the reservation, or a big chunk of it anyway, without telling Sohee. What she didn’t know won’t hurt her. “Crepe is kind of like a pancake, so it definitely counts to fulfill our little image that we talked about a while back!” he answered with a grin, playfully ruffling Sohee’s hair out of affection and because she just seemed so cute and excited from everything, the upcoming vacation as well as their coming food. “So-so?!” he blurted out, before realizing she was just joking. His hand landed on top of hers as she touched his shoulder, his fingers drumming gently over hers before he pulled his arm away. “It’s really no problem. More reason to spend time together… plus I know we’re both overworked. You especially, Sohee. The most you do for breaks is a lunch break at work, I bet.” Seunghyub’s eyes locked with hers for a moment and his hand automatically moved up, his thumb and index finger gently lingering over her chin for a few moments. “Thank you for… um, suggesting this thing in the first place.” He really was thankful, he wanted to see more of her, this pair vacation would be enough for him, he thought.
@✽ seunghyub l. "In three weeks? Sounds like a plan. I can clear my schedule for /you/, so don't worry. And sure! I'm such a fan of discounts. We have to avail of that!". She exclaims with a soft chuckle, that discount will surely help in minimizing a part of their trip expense. Her lips turned an 'o' form surprised to know that he already reserved the spot. "Oh, you reserved it already? Wow.. you got fast fingers. It's a good thing too since summer is fast approaching. Slots might run low if we'll not book in advance. Thank you for initiating the reservation". She mumbled with a graceful smile, slightly touching his arm as a form of affection. "Exactly how I imagined! I remember us talking about ice cream over pancakes- so this is like the same thing except it's gonna be a crepe". She nods in agreement, taking a sip once more on her glass of water. A tint of blush rising on her cheeks when she heard him express his thoughts so openly without her having to ask. "Oh really? I'm just feeling so-so". She playfully joked with a hand gesture in the air before taking it back and touches his shoulder. "I'm kidding. Of course, I am excited Seung. It will be our first trip and I'm badly yearning for a vacation for months now. And now, we're making it happen, so thank you in advance". The moment the waiter left them together once more, she averts her gaze into his dark brown orbs just to express her sincere response in return.
@✽ sohee h. “Maybe next month? Or in a few weeks if you want to rush it, anything’s fine with me since my schedule is flexible. If you want, exactly… three weeks from now so we have a discount on early reservation for most of the places and we have time to get ready.” he suggested, looking through his phone screen for discounts and promos, like anyone should. Seunghyub then nodded, glancing at Sohee, his phone, and then once again the menu. “I’ll message you the details for the nice glamping place… which is basically reserved for us, I hope.” He turned the menu around, looking at the back of it as well, lips pursed and eyebrows gently knotted together. “We can do that, you’re probably full anyways. Let’s just dump the ice cream on top for extra taste, maybe!” He grinned at her suggestion, imagining the taste in his head before calling over the waiter to give their order. Once the waiter left them, he breathed out, more relaxed since they were alone again with a bit less pressure than earlier. “Are you excited for our trip? Because I am.” He spoke honestly this time, feeling like he could just say a lot of things he felt when Sohee was around. A bit different from his social-but-still-guarded persona he had with other people.
@✽ seunghyub l. "Yay! Alright, when do we plan on going? So we can arrange our schedule ahead of time". She mirrors his genuine smile, liking how she kept on seeing that unusual smile from this guy. "You can send the details to me via dm, Seung. I'll happily check on it". Shifting her gaze back at the small menu, she hums and purses her lips in the process. "Hmm, both sounds good! Though I'm willing to share. I can't finish a whole dessert, heh. Anything you choose will be fine, Seung. How about a combination of the berry caramel crepe and the in-house homemade ice cream?". She offered with a sweet smile, thinking it will be a good combo to try.
@✽ sohee h. “Glamping it is!” he chirped, giving Sohee a genuine smile as he really was excited for their trip. He didn’t care much for hiding it since it was an exciting little event, a rare vacation, for the both of them. “Yeah, we’re going to be sore and itchy in the middle of the night, wouldn’t want that for our first vacation.” He took a brief glance at his phone, filtering in all the destinations that had glamping as an activity and took note of their price range mentally, nodding. “I’ll let you know, no worries.” He wouldn’t let Sohee pay too much of course, but he’s not going to tell her that. Seunghyub was easily willing to pay majority of the reservation fee, which was the heaviest hit in terms of the fees overall. Sohee could help pay for some of the food when they’d arrive at their destination. He’d think about it later. Seunghyub picked up the special-request dessert menu, scanning through it. “Nope.” he muttered, popping the ‘p’ sound at the end. “I’ve never tried this before, but the roasted berry caramel crepe or the in-house homemade ice cream sound really good… do you want to share or pick something yourself?”
@✽ seunghyub l. Sohee's brow quirked up as she heard him say a word but quickly withdraws it--now she's suddenly curious on what he was supposed to say. She didn't bother asking as she wouldn't want to sound too interested. Wiping her damp lips lightly by a tissue paper, she nods her head in agreement at the enumerated activities for their little trip together. She clasped her hands and smiles happily as she sort of can't contain her excitement internally. "Sounds fantastic to me, Seung. I vote for glamping too. I can't quite imagine us sleeping inside a tent and waking up in the middle of the night with a backache, sore muscles, or just basically curling up and feeling super cold". She chuckles at the image building up on her head before taking her phone out to search some of the locations. "Just let me know how much do we have to spend. I'm willing to split". She gladly offered, knowing it would be embarrassing if Seunghyub will be the one to pay for all the expenses. She hopes it will be okay with him since she is completely fine with it unless he will insist. Her attention quickly shifted to the waiter who approached them, curious at the menu so she takes a peek but not as close as she was with him earlier, maintaining a safe distance now as she wouldn't want her heart to thumb abnormally for the nth time. "Ooh yes! What do they offer though- have you tried one of those desserts before?".

It took everything within Seunghyub just to not move in to be closer to Sohee while she’s speaking this closely against him, all he could do was hum and nod in agreement. “It is a great feeling, you’re right. I think we could go to one of the glamping spots I’ve bookmarked, since it’s just camping but more comfortable. I don’t want us feeling discomfort on our dat— on our little vacation.” He almost slipped. “Okay, bonfire, s’mores, and stargazing. Putting that on our to-do list. We can pick a place and settle the schedule and payments soon?” He turned to her, feeling his cheeks and ears turn red at her response. Obviously deep down he couldn’t deny that he loved hearing her say that, hoping it was a positive type of stare, but outwardly he couldn’t say much. It felt strange to even compliment her this early since they weren’t exactly… romantic yet. Seunghyub cleared his throat, grabbing his own glass of water, his phone on the table while he rubbed the redness and heat off his ears and cheeks. While doing this, he accidentally made eye contact with one of the waiters, who got his signal immediately and started walking over. “Here you go sir, the special dessert menu for you and the young lady, like you asked earlier.” the waiter spoke, setting the fancier, glossy pages of the dessert menu on the table. “Oh. Right.” He had almost forgotten he requested those earlier and he looked at Sohee, biting back his laugh as the waiter stood there for their order. “They only give this menu if you know to ask for it… Sorry, I totally forgot I asked for this.” he spoke, facing her and his last few words turning into a whisper. He shouldn’t have made eye contact with that waiter, but at least he saved him from looking awkward while he blushed.
@✽ seunghyub l. The sudden close proximity with the male came to realization when he turned his face to her. Now seeing him upclose and personal made her heart thump abnormally yet she fought back a nervous gaze and smiles cheekily instead before redirecting her focus on the phone screen. Amused at the number of good places to go to that she can't even make up her mind. "Hmm, there are a lot of good places to visit. And oh! Camping sounds lovely. The last time I went camping was when I was still in middle school. It would be nice to try it out again. Being one with the nature is just a really great feeling" - especially being there with someone special. That echoed through her thoughts but she chose to not say it as she hums in content while gladly receiving some head pats which just made her lean closer against his shoulder comfortably. "I'm okay with camping or glamping. Would be fun to do a bonfire, make smores while stargazing, and just explore the outer greenery". She says with such a dreamy tone of voice not until she was caught up by the question. She was quick to shake her head and lightly giggle till she stops and leans away a bit. "No.. that's the thing. Nothing's wrong with your face but I just can't /stop/ staring". She murmured the last few phrases before pulling away and reaches for her glass of water, feeling flushed at what she just said.

He continued to scroll through his search for vacation and outdoor activity spots, trying his best to hide his smile when he felt Sohee rest her head on his shoulder to look at his screen. Seunghyub was randomly bookmarking a bunch of places, not really having any preference or even knowing which ones were the best aside from the ones with glowing five-star reviews from past visitors. After he turned his head to face her, inhaling her scent as her face and hair were very close, he held up his screen to show all of his favourites. Some were hiking areas, glamping, a few beaches, and a handful of staycation hotel spots with lots of amenities. “By experience, I’m an indoor person, aside from the few camping trips my family had ages ago. But I do wanna try some outdoor things, so I have no preference… yet.” With his hand moving on its own, Seunghyub lifted the hand closest to her, gently stroking the top of her head before immediately pulling it down out of shyness and awkwardness. “Um, I’d have the most experience in camping, if you’d like to take that into account for our trip together.” He felt some tingles in his stomach when he said the word ‘together,’ the tingles getting much more aggressive when Sohee touched his cheek, causing him to turn and look at her. Setting his phone on the table and using that hand to rest on top of hers, he mumbled, “Something wrong with my face again?” He swore he had removed all traces of food from his face earlier.
@✽ seunghyub l. Sohee leaned her back against the couch, feeling full and satisfied as she gently rubs her tummy. Internally praying she wouldn't get food coma or else she'll feel rather sleepy afterwards which will be embarassing as she is currently on a date. Listening back again to what the male is saying, she agreed by nodding her head a few times. "That's so true. We deserve a break afterall our hardwork". She smiles, her eyes shifting to his phone as he placed it on the table, noticing the male searching up for good spots to visit. She leaned forwards and rested her chin gently against his shoulder so she can see further. "Where do you plan on going hm? Are you more of a outdoor or indoor person? Like are you fond of beaches, extreme adventurs, paradise, or just simply booking a hotel or any staycation?". She chirps, thinking she hasn't asked that question to him and it made her curious what is he like when it comes to booking a vacation. After a few minutes, she blinked at the sudden question, making her pull away from resting her chin on his shoulder and emits a light chortle at the memory. "Oh, your bedroom. Mhm. It was pretty neat as I remember.. and please, you also told me before that your place doesn't look tidy at all but hey it's far from 'messy'. I bet the same for your bookstore knowing how tidy of a man you are. Besides, you don't have to arrange everything so perfectly. It's just me who will come over". She grins, reaching forwards to touch his cheek softly and begins to admire his features even if she just saw him get some crumbs on his lips. This man never fails to look good in front of her no matter what angle.

Pulling his phone out of his side pocket, Seunghyub rested the gadget on the table quietly, meaning to start looking for short vacation or staycation spots for him and Sohee. “Any break for people like us is one that’s much needed, we really need to stop working sometimes.” he spoke, finally finishing the rest of his food, both the plates for his eggs benedict and his quiche clean and empty, without a single crumb left. Taking a sip of his water, he leaned back into his chair, his other hand resting on his thigh. “I think aside from being a store, my workplace is a spot for people to actually read. Maybe that’s why I’ve made it stay open so late? It’s a place for people like me, I guess.” he replied, amused at her reaction to Verbatim's operating hours. “You know–” he immediately lost his train of thought when Sohee leaned over to give him one last bite of her berries, causing him to smile with the sweetness in his mouth. He nodded and chewed with a satisfied hum, swallowing the berries obediently. “Thank you.” he whispered, feeling like a child when she was cleaning his lips of the food stain. Picking his phone up from the table, he started looking at different spots for them to stay in, though he’d consult Sohee first before choosing any place, and money wasn’t that much of a problem for him either. “You want to? Good, now I’m going to have to clean up my office a little more before you visit the bookstore. It’s not as clean as my bedroom, if you remember how it looked.”

It was surprising to hear the male speak out after her massive thoughts and as she dabs a paper towel to wipe her lips clean due to the food residue, she slowly nodded and calmed her noisy little mind away. She lifts up her head and turns to look at Seunghyub with a small smile on her lips. "I.. do you really think so? If that's the case then we should probably start looking for potential places to visit! It could be just nearby.. just so we can unwind even for a short while". She fidgets with her own fingers under the table, thankful that the male can't see her doing that. She tend to do that whenever she suddenly feels anxious or shy. Her eyes lights up at the mention about his shop closing at a much later time which made her smile, reaching her ears in fact. "Oh wow, that's like a really perfect timing. I didn't know a bookstore can close that late. Some bookstores I know closes as early as 7 or 8 pm". She mentally screamed inside her head as she feels like Seunghyub was really meaning to spend more time with her as much as possible. She just watches him enjoy the remaining french toast on her plate and she helps him savor it even more by offering more berries to his mouth. "Here's more. One final bite. Ah~". Sohee grinned after feeding him and notices some red tint dusts over Seunghyub's lips and Sohee lifts up a paper towel, dabbing it gently to the spot on his lips to wipe it clean. "There you go..". Sohee gazed into him after calling her attention once more and she finds it hard to keep a straight face on as she wouldn't want him to suspect that she badly wants to see him too after her work. "Hmm, do you want me to? I mean.. I want to. As I've said, I'm free after my work if you're also free. So, it's a yes then". She poked his chin lightly before putting down the paper towel back on the table and finishes the last remaining drop of her mocha frappe.
@✽ sohee h. Seunghyub watched Sohee respond, a smile visible in his eyes even when he was chewing. He wanted to get a word in while she was taking back her request of them going on a trip together, but the woman was speaking way too quickly that he couldn’t intercept for a second. He chewed on his food, the pieces in one side of his mouth before he swallowed, chuckling and tapping two fingers on the table, signaling that he was speaking after her. “Stop. Sohee, calm down. It’s okay? I’d be honored to go on a little vacation with you, you look like the type to know a lot of fun places.” he answered smoothly, making eye contact with her even while she was taking a sip of her drink. And another bite into his mouth before he spoke, “Oh? Perfect… my shop closes at 10pm, maybe Verbatim Bookstore is the one staying late. And stop apologizing, c’mon!” He was being sincere of course, he had no idea her hours would end earlier than his, or maybe he was just too into catering to his late-night reading audience that 10pm wasn’t that late for him. “Just message me when you wanna come over and I can tour you at my store when you’re done, okay?” His ears turned a little red at her comment, and he immediately swallowed all the food that was in both cheeks. A pleasant grin appeared on him at her reaction to his preferred menu order. “Oh, sure. And yes, kinda?” he replied. He wiped his fork and knife clean with his napkin, to remove as much of his spit and the eggy taste off before he reached over to get the smallest bit of her french toast, some berries included. After putting the food into his mouth, he bobbed his head, looking as if he was analyzing it deeply. “Delicious, unsurprisingly!” Seunghyub took a glance at his food, his egg dish was nearly gone and his quiche was down to half. Since he did want to spend more time with the woman that day, he had to clarify if she was visiting the bookstore (so he could tidy up). “So, you’re coming over to my place later?”
@✽ seunghyub l. Sohee suddenly slows down from chewing the piece of bacon in at the sudden question, making her regret her thoughts right away. Why did she even ask that in the first place? She must have lost her mind for a hot minute. "Oh- um. I mean, if you want to? Or is it too sudden or too soon to ask that.. heh nevermind! It was just a mere thought." She was able to pull on a small smile on her lips before sipping through her spiced pumpkin mocha frappe and hums in content as the flavoring bursts into strongly. Guess she has a new favorite drink now, immediately drowning the thoughts away of possibly travelling out of town with the male. "Oh, our clinic is open until 9pm. But that might be too late for your bookshop. I think we can just schedule it next time around. I.. I guess I was just being too excited, I'm sorry." She lets out a shy smile while scratching the side of her neck lightly and lifts her fork to poke one of the strawberries on top of her french toast. The sight of Seunghyub with a mouthful of food makes her giggle and she nudges him lightly. "You're so kyeo. Please. I- okay let me try." She puts on a pleasant expression as she begins dabbing a small spoon on his eggs benedict and tastes it. Her eyes showing delight. "Oh it is yum indeed. Thank you. Would you like to try my french toast? Are you fond of berries-"
@✽ sohee h. “A vacation together?” he mirrored, ending it as a question instead of a suggestion. “That sounds fun, I don’t think I can refuse when it’s you asking me.” he replied, sounding nonchalant as he dug into his egg dish, but deep down he was definitely excited since they were scheduling outings together. He didn’t think she’d be the one initiating, and he was still just a /little/ shy when it came to asking her directly. He’d need some alcohol in his system or bravery in his veins for that to happen quicker. “My schedule’s flexible, just let me know and I’ll make time for you… wait, after your work? He glanced at her untouched french toast and waited for her to take /her/ first bite of it before he even thought of offering up a bit of his quiche too.

Speaking of vacation—shall we go somewhere? I kept on seeing different travel escapades on my social media but I have no one to go to. Well technically I have my friends but our schedule just won't meet. And... yes, of course. I'll ring you before visiting your shop or... we can swing by later after my work?". The moment she turned her head towards his side, she was caught offguard when he leaned closer all of a sudden and that close proximity was enough to heat her cheeks up remembering something inside her head. Even if they've already hanged out a few times, she still can't help but melt whenever he does such a thing. Thankfully, the waiter broke that moment by serving their plates with the foods they ordered. She was quick to change her expression into her giddy self as she picks up her fork and pokes some of the baby, cherry tomatoes on the salad bowl. She took a few and munches on her greens while exchanging a smile here and there with Seunghyub. Sohee almost chuckled with full as she saw how excited the male was in tasting his eggs benedict. "Oh will you look at you. Is it yum?".

He spritzed some on his hands before giving it back to her politely, nodding. “My mother trained me well but I think I just like them a lot /because/ they make me feel healthy. Good skin is a bonus for me.” He couldn’t help but chuckle and look at her as she plugged in her own business. Of course he would go, anything to support Sohee, as well as more reason to spend time with her. “Ah yeah, productivity guilt. I feel that a lot too, we’re the type who keep working but we both definitely need vacations. Oh? Why don’t you–” he spoke, leaning forward to rest his folded arms on the table. “Call me before visiting the store and I can give you a special tour? I’ve seen your workplace, you have yet to see mine– ah thank you.” The waiter had arrived while they were speaking, his eyes becoming small curved lines as he smiled at the sight of the food. Both their orders looked good, her french toast and his eggs benedict and quiche. Of course the salad looked delectable as well, but he dug into his eggs first, putting a small serving into his mouth. He eyed Sohee, realizing he probably took a bite first even if he wanted to see her reaction to her food before he did.

it has been years since Dilraba came back to Dandelion, all the memories and everything that happened before she left to oversea just came back to her that put a bright smile on her face. It just feeling like that it was yesterday that she was still here on these street that she used to know, but working as a model and an actress wasn't always easy to come back here. Today she was here to meet one of her old friends from her school days, they hadn't seen each other for a long time and they decided to meet up today at one of the places they used to visit often.
Parking her car in the parking lot as she got out her car, looking around the the place as she nodded her head before walking toward the restaurant, Not really been up to date with what had been Juyeon up to these days but today would be the day they could catch up with how each other's life been going. The actress pushed the door open as she enter this familiar location, finding herself sitting in one of the table that was close to the window so she could see when Juyeon arrives. Not sure how everything would turned out since they hadn't seen each other for so long as the thought crosses her mind she could feel her heart beats a little fast since she remember something that happened during college. It was all in the past now as she stares out of the window when the waitress brought the menu to her, Dilraba shook her head as she told her that she would wait for her friend to arrive before ordering.
Placing her arms on the table as she rest her chin on her hands, all the memories that they shared back in school just came back to her, the good and the bad but most of them are happy memories. Dilraba leaned back on the back of the chair as the she just remember that Juyeon was someone she looked as one of her best friends. She continued to drown in her thoughts as the time passes, slowly coming back to reality as she looked around to see if she can spot the younger woman but couldn't see anyone resembles Juyeon. She always cam early for their meetings ever since their school days, and as per usual she came early than they were supposed to meet so she could observe Juyeon's reaction when the younger spots her.

She fishes out a hand sanitizer from her shoulder bag to spritz some on her hands and offers it to the male for him to sanitize his palms as well. "That's good to know then that you are a fan of salad or greens! It's rare for guys to love salads, you know. The more veggies you eat, the more glowing your skin will be. But of course, it's far better if you'll allow me or our clinic to take care of your own skin". She muses with a playful wink, shamelessly plugging her very own dermaclinic. She purses her lips in defense and just hums with a soft sigh (a good one). "I can't help it. I feel like I'm irresponsible if I won't meet my clients even just for a day. But don't get me wrong, I still take vacation leaves every now and then. Also, it's nice to know that your bookstore are gaining more engagements. I will seriously visit it and buy some books for sure, Seungie. You better tour me there." She nudges his arm lightly before shifting her attention when the waiter finally brought over their orders. Her eyes widening in amuseent while she does a small clap, not being to fight her excitement. "Ooh, looks so damn good".

I am a fan of salads and vegetables in general anyway. I’m hopefully as healthy as you are!” he commented, his gaze following hers and he spotted the flowers and vines nearby their table. Again, at that moment he was thankful for choosing his favourite spot for their brunch. She seemed to be admiring their surroundings so he didn’t say much, only responding with a raised brow at her admittance of going to the clinic. “A slight workaholic and loyal to her customers, I respect that.” He picked up the glass of water that was served to them, taking a small sip before answering. “I think so? A lot of young women do come to the place a lot, but they don’t buy many books even if I basically know their faces already. Also, lots of grandpa-aged men asking me and my staff for help. It’s actually pretty endearing. I do wanna try to branch out with my type of customers, so might add some new books to the curated-by-me section!”

Her hands were trembling, he could see, but that just made him more insecure about his gift choice. Junhui looked at her expression when she opened the gift, feeling some sense of relief, and letting out the breath he didn’t know he was even holding. “You do? Wow, that’s – oh my god…” His eyes grew just a bit larger at the sight of her tally marks tattoo, the sight causing him to grin in excitement. She was braver than he was, getting a tattoo like that. “Ah, I’m so glad you liked it. Even if you didn’t know Doctor Who, I was hoping you’d like the design either way…” he admitted, his hands moving to fold on top of the table. Moments later, a waiter approached their table, handing them menus and Junhui flipped through the one given to him. “Do you have any idea what to get?” He had only been to Bistro Mirinae a handful of times, mostly with his parents who would choose for him and his sister Huiyan, so he didn’t know what was really delicious there.

"you don't have to try it, i promise." sitala laughed quietly when junhui attempted to pronounce her surname, and she raised an eyebrow before shaking her head with an amused smile on her lips. her brown eyes widened when junhui pulled out a small box from his pocket, and she gasped when he explained what the gift was. hands trembling, sitala reached out and took the box gingerly before opening it to look at the pin, her eyes bright when she looked at the design of the silence. "hui...it's perfect. i love the silence, i have—hold on." sitala worked to pull up her sleeve before showing off the seven tally marks she had tattooed just above the crease of her elbow, looking at junhui with a grin. "it's perfect, hui. i love it so much."

Then sooner or later you guys will be the best of friends". Sohee mentioned with delight and just smiles through her eyes, allowing the male to freely choose from the menu. "Mhm yes, for sharing. Salad is healthy so..." As a dermatologist she has always been fond of incorporating vegetables or any greens in her diet knowing it is good not just for their body but also for the radiance of their skin. Her eyes speaks curiosity when she noticed how he whispered to the waiter but she didn't bother to ask what was it all about instead she switches her gaze to the flowers and vines hanging on the window, making the ambiance of the restaurant alive and cozy. Only when she was asked by Seunghyub, her attention returned to him and she slowly puts a hand on her nape with a half smile on her lips. "Well... guess what? I went to the clinic around 8am since I have some clients who booked a special appointment and I can't help but to check up on them since they are my regulars, heh. How was the bookstore? Getting more bookworms?".
