"ah, i don't think i'm that good. i try my best, of course, like anybody does. i try to keep it centred around my wheelchair because even on a good day i don't want to be on my feet in a strange place for hours on end."
@✽ ten l. “No, no.. not at all! It’s just- it’s just the truth you know..” a sheepish smile tugged on his lips as he nodded at ten. He hummed, glancing over the menu before sending them a small thumbs up. “Sounds perfect.. both sound amazing, just depends how spicy you like it.. I love spice, but it’s been months since I’ve had anything remotely hot. Other than that, the only thing I’d add on to the order would be marinated pork belly.” He smiled over at ten, chuckling softly. Setting the menu down, he felt a pair of eyes on him. Hesitantly he looked up, cheeks flushing as he noticed them staring at him. He really wasn’t used to this- any of this. Dating had been a thing of his past yet here he was sitting across from a gorgeous person and getting along with them so well. It was honestly surprising how quickly he felt comfortable with them, already being able to compliment and laugh with ten. “Oh.. I see. Well, you know.. different models are needed for everything, plus I think you’d make an amazing one- wheelchair or not.” He wasn’t lying either, ten had the perfect face- features sharp and prominent yet also having that certain softness made them stand out in the most perfect way. “Oh! You.. thank you, though don’t say it too much.. I might turn red.” He chuckled softly before humming at ten’s words, eyes widening slightly as he leaned out in his seat to catch a glimpse of their outfit. “Wow.. you’re extremely talented.. you’ve got quite the skill, really. And cosplay? I don’t know a lot about that, but I’ve seen cosplay pictures before. If it’s anything like that than you must be amazing!”

"would it be alright if we started with the spicy pork bulgolgi? we can also get whatever meat you want, i just - i love spicy food so much. and then we could get the dolsot bibimbap to share? i promise i won't add too much gochujang if you're not a fan of spicy." they set the menu down and studied doyoung's features, sighing wistfully - he was absolutely *gorgeous*, almost exactly ten's type in appearance, and they could already tell that the two of them would get along well whether it was as friends or as something more (they selfishly wanted more than friendship, already daydreaming about getting to kiss those pretty pink lips. "i can't be made for modelling, i'm disabled. but never mind that, you're gorgeous and i will say it every day for the rest of my life if i have to. as for hobbies, i like to sew and make clothes. i'm a cosplayer actually, and i mostly work on cosplay outfits for myself, but i've made a few things of my own too. like the skirt i'm wearing, i made it myself!"
@✽ ten l. “Oh I doubt that! Don’t sell yourself too short, I bet your photos look amazing! You seem like the type to actually be great at a lot of random things..” Doyoung really couldn’t believe; he scored a date with someone that’s not only stunning, but also nice and into photography.. he really managed to luck out! His thoughts about Ten quickly came to a halt after he heard their words. The Korean male’s cheeks flared up, mouth parting into an ‘o’ shape as he weakly pointed at himself. “Eh? Me?” A choked out laugh left his lips at the others confession, quickly shaking his head as he tried to control his smile. He had to admit, being complimented by them did raise his ego just the slightest. “Oh please, you’re just saying things now… yiu on the other hand… you’re made for modeling? You have the looks, the charm.. perfect.” His words were mumbled on the last part, cheeks burning as his ears started to flush up as well. He watched the other hide behind the menu, smiling slightly at the cute action before glancing over the menu himself. “Oh, that does sound good! That sounds heavenly..” he agreed, nodding as he read over the menu before humming softly. “So.. uh, what kind of things do you do in your free time? Any hobbies?”

"i do it as a hobby, so i'm not very good. but it's a lot of fun! you'd be a perfect model." their eyes widened in surprise at their own words before they giggled shyly, and they covered their mouth. "ah, i mean - you're just so beautiful to look at." ten admitted with bright red cheeks, and they ducked their head before picking up the menu to hide behind it - they hadn't picked out anything to eat yet anyway. "we could start with some mandoo as an appetiser? and then we could do the barbecue, if you want, that sounds really delicious doesn't it."
@✽ ten l. A genuine laugh escaped from Doyoung, hand quickly moving to cover his mouth before he nodded in agreement. “Looks like we’re in the same boat then.. I’m not much of a talker usually.. I only agreed to trying all this cause I was persuaded.” He smiled shyly, ears turning a light pink hue to match his cheeks. He let his fingers nervously tap against the table as he kept his gaze on Ten. He could tell they were just as nervous as he was, almost finding some relief in the fact they were both feeling the same at the moment. “Well, why I might not do your name justice right now, I’ll try my best to pronounce it in the future.. if, you know.. um, yeah.” He cursed silently under his breath, mentally scolding himself before humming at the others words. “I could only imagine the pain and struggle you go to.. thank you for even taking the time and putting yourself out there so that we could be on this, Uh, this date.” With a weakly forced cough, doyoung rubbed at the back of his neck. “I’m ah.. I’m kim doyoung, he/him pronouns.. and um..” his eyes glanced over onto the menu, pretending to look through it as he spoke. “My favorite color is blue and I’m also born in 1996.” Hearing their hobby, doyoung perked up, eyes widening slightly as he stared at them in slight excitement. “Oh really? My work, I- um, I’m a freelance photographer! I’m happy to hear you enjoy photography!”

"ah, so my name is chittaphon leechaiyakul, but i go by ten so you don't have to try and learn how to pronounce it. my pronouns are they/them, and i identify as non-binary. as you can see i'm disabled, but i switch between the wheelchair and a cane that i have. sometimes i can actually walk, but other times i'm in too much pain so the chair it is. i just chose it for tonight because...people can be cruel about it, sometimes, and i wanted to make sure you were okay with the fact that i'll always be shorter than you." they shrugged a shoulder and reached out to take a large gulp of water before setting the glass back down. "other than that, my favourite colour is black, i was born in the year 1996 and i'll be 27 next month, and photography is my hobby."
@✽ ten l. A quiet sigh of relief left his lips once ten confirmed themselves. Doyoung felt himself relax, shoulders slightly dropping as his smile grew. He already thought ten was attractive at first sight, but getting a better picture of them left the Korean male a bit speechless. He’d never met someone as pretty as the person in front of him, even their small giggles sounding smooth. “Oh, right!” He was brought out of his daze at the others words, jumping slightly in his spot before quickly sitting himself down. “Ah, that’s totally fine! Besides..” Doyoung looked towards his left and then his right before shrugging. “The back is better anyways.. that way we don’t have to overhear everyone else’s conversations.”

Oh, Doyoung was /attractive/, and his outfit looked so good—Ten didn't realise how good white pants looked on anybody, but Doyoung was absolutely gorgeous and pulled it off well. "Yes, I am Ten." They giggled softly and reached out to slip their hand into Doyoung's, shaking it gently before motioning to the seat before them. "Please, take a seat. I hope you found the table okay? It's a little out of the way from everybody else, but I needed space for my chair anyway."
@✽ ten l. Doyoung stared at the front of the restaurant for a moment before glancing back down at his phone, rereading and making sure he was at the right place. He was nervous, the last date he had been on was his senior year of high school, right before he had moved away for college. He simply never had the time since then, but with his ever growing loneliness plus some convincing from one of his regular models, he caved in and agreed to a blind date. Was he proud? Absolutely not, embarrassed was probably the better choice of words. So with a mini pep talk to himself and a breath he didn’t realize he was holding, he entered into the restaurant. He greeted the hostess back before stating his reservation, leaning back and forth on the heel on his feet before he was pointed towards the table. He thanked the hostess before making his way over to the table, eyes noticing the rose on the table before seeing the person he was supposed to meet today.. ten? He was sure that’s the name he was told, mentally begging it was correct before he smiled awkwardly at the person seated down. Ten looked.. they looked great, better than great even, they looked amazing. His eyes glanced over Ten, brows slightly raising as he saw the wheelchair they were sitting on. Ah, okay.. they used a wheelchair, noted. “Ah, um.. hello? You are…ten, correct? Hopefully..?” He asked, hand reaching out to shake the others.
@✽ seungyeon h. "Well, I suppose you are not that wrong, it generally is all the time. You have your ways oh sneaky sneaky I like it." Looking into her drink she gently waved her hand ,dismissively. "Honestly I can, I do not mind paying for stuff. Awesome, lets go shopping and see what we end up with huh? Oh food allergies I see, well I mean suppose I can help you stock up on other things and what not , just one less thing for you to do, because really it seems like you do not get a break." She made a soft sigh before thinking about it, and chuckles a little. "Being more free, made me think of everyone just running around , chasing each other , but anywho. You are welcome, work not so much , but I cannot discuss it out in public. As for the other, yes, if a Gahyeon passes exams, she will end up with a pilots license , so the next few weeks is going to be crazy, but straight after the exam, i'll let,you know." She went silent for a moment before taking the last gulp of her drink, frowning a little. "Now I am curious, do you work , or are you studying ? "

Because there's only pro or anti, and it's really hard to get someone who doesn't like mint chocolate to enjoy the taste. They say it tastes like toothpaste, please, it's not the ice cream's fault, it's the manufacturer's fault for making toothpaste taste minty in the first place....

@✽ doyoung k. ten made it to their table and thanked the waitress who moved a chair out of the way so they could fit their wheelchair in, and it wasn't until ten was alone that they pulled off their jacket to get comfortable. they draped it over the chair beside them and clasped their hands together on the table before looking around. ten didn't know what doyoung looked like, but they had been told that doyoung was going to be looking for the rose that ten had brought since they would get to the restaurant first. "right, the rose." they cleared their throat and placed it on the edge of the table before taking a sip of the ice water that had been left at the table by the waitress, and they sighed shakily. they hadn't been on a date since the last disastrous attempt in seoul a few years ago, and hopefully doyoung wouldn't mind that ten was disabled.
