@011 - minseok Sehee would feel a lot better doing things on her own, but with her job as tester now, she was sure that she had to include the machine into her schedules now. How would she be able to rate the doll's functionality if she didn't take him out and observe him? If she recalled it correctly, her uncle told her to spend time with Minseok, going on dates. She almost snorted at that thought, because she could imagine how awkward that would be. Sehee was not the kind of girl to go on dates, except for study dates, and those were focused on studies. No one had ever succeeded to lure her out to 'have fun' as other people would call it. What people didn't know was that she actually did have fun. She liked studying. She liked the feeling of accomplishment after each finished project, the confidence that came with knowledge on a certain topic. It might not be everyone's definition of fun, but for Sehee, learning was fun, and the results of a study session made her happy. Call her workaholic, but that was the lifestyle she preferred.

Once making sure that she had everything she needed, Sehee turned back to the doll. She couldn't leave him here alone, even if the idea was tempting, and so she motioned for him to tag along. "There is an Italian restaurant down the streets. If we hurry, we might still get the lunch special," she said. But even if they didn't get the special price, it wouldn't be the end of the world either. After all, the company would cover all expenses as long as she spent the money on the doll.

"Are you coming?" She asked a last time, after slipping on a comfortable pair of converse, her eyes now trained on the machine.

@○ sehee "Of course sehee," he said immediately when she gave him her first command. A note was made in his database that mistress was not an acceptable form of greeting for this relationship.

Minseok took a moment to examine her features analyzing the sharp angles and storing them in his database so that he would be able to pick her of a crowd from a distance. When she spoke again he wondered if she had any interest in him at all, her words were cool and formal and there was no decernable increase in heart rate or blood pressure.

"I want to do that which will make you happy," he said in a gentle tone "I do not require sustinance but I will accompany you if you wish it."

It was true. People said the dolls from that company were so close to being human that no one would notice any difference from a real human. Sehee might have encountered a few before, not even knowing of their true identity, simply because they seemed too human like, too real to be just programmed machines.

He was pretty, Sehee thought, the eyes not quite as lively as a human's but they reflected the light and whatever they focused on just like the human eye. It was a nice color, too, very close to Sehee's own. For a moment, Sehee was stunned by how real he seemed, his chest moving, too, to mimick a human's breathing. She was quite sure that he didn't really need air to live and function. And that reminded her of the fact that the boy in front of her was just a machine.

Her expression turned into a frown the moment her doll spoke his first words. Mistress. Did he really call her that? She had to tell her uncle not to let the dolls refer to their customers as mistresses. It sounded just wrong.

"Hello, Minseok," she spoke, her tone rather cool than affectionate, but who was she kidding? Sehee was not a sweet girl and she didn't even want the machine in front of her in the first place. He had been forced upon her and now she would have to try and make the best out of it. "You would make me very happy if you stopped calling me 'mistress'. Just Sehee is fine."

She stood up, flattening the front of her blouse. What was she supposed to do now? Go about her usual schedules? But how could she fall back into routine with this addition to her life? She wasn't very spontaneous, so she had now idea how to improvise. But maybe that question should be left for later. Her stomach rumbled and that was the reminder that she didn't get lunch yet. "Let's grab some lunch. Unless you want to wait here until I'm back," she said, turning around to fetch her purse and keys

The first sensation that registered in Minseok's brain as his systems began to fire was, that this kiss held no desire; no want for the physical connection that two individuals shared when they brought their lips together. There was no romance here, only the could formality of the 3 second connection it took to bring his neural receptors to life. His eyes fluttered open, long dark lashes framing the rich brown of his irises and he gazed inquisitively out on his new surroundings.

Though he didn't need to, his system told him he should be breathing so, he inhaled deeply, his chest rising and falling naturally. Sitting up he scanned the immediate vicinity and his eyes fell on his new mistress, reflexively the automatic greeting played, "Hello Mistress! I'm your new boyfriend!"

His system quickly collected analyzed and then stored the data of the room around him for future use as well as taking in the girl sitting next to him. She did not look pleased and Minseok was determined to find out why and rectify the problem in wherever way he could. "My name is Minseok, Mistress. How can I make you happy?" he asked.

A cautious but angelic smile crept slowly on to his face, the sensors in his skin beginning to fire and add color and life to his features once again.

@011 - minseok Sehee had always known that her uncle was working for the boyfriend factory. In fact, he was one of the designers there, making sketches for the doll's appearance. Her friends had been talking about those robot boyfriends nonstop, idolizing them as much as they did with actual celebrities, while Sehee was rather bored of that talk. Surely, it was nice to get some company when one was longing for a boyfriend, but with her lack of interest, she never felt the need to have a boyfriend.

So why was there a doll on her bed? Because Sehee had been miffed - her uncle's words, not her own, Sehee would rather say pissed - about the fact that her uncle using her face to form one of the latest dolls in the boyfriend factory. She had discovered that when a classmate of her had brought a male version of her to school. It was not difficult to put one and one together, and when Sehee realized that it could not be pure coincidence, she had paid her dear uncle a visit to throw a fit. Her uncle, loving his niece a lot, had promised to make it up to her, not specifying how, until just now.

The package was delivered to her, with special service even, as her uncle explained to her over a phone call. Apparently, dolls would be sent in , but her uncle had made sure to dress up the doll and send a few sets of clothes along with it, and the delivery man even helped her unpacking and setting the doll up. But what should she do with a robot when she didn't feel the need to have one? She wasn't a very sociable girl, rather selective with who she associated with, free time rarely spent with other people. Sehee was what other people called a too independent young lady, rejecting other people left and right. This doll though, she couldn't really reject. While it was intended to be an apology, her uncle had also asked her for a favor, thinking that he was killing two birds with one stone. Apparently, the company had new standards to test models that were to be released soon, or models that were sent back and needed a test to check if they were still usable. And so Sehee had somehow become an employee at the boyfriend factory - unwillingly.

With a sigh, the girl decided to get done with it as fast as possible. The manual said she had to kiss the doll, and Sehee did just that, pressing her lips on the lifeless machine for three seconds, as instructed, before pulling away and wiping her lips, the feeling of a soft pair of lips against hers too natural and therefore odd.
