Rules

1.) ABSOLUTELY NO BULLYING OF ANY SORT (OOC). We appreciate IC drama. But OOC is not tolerated whatsoever. This includes no frustrating cursing or over-cursing in the RP. If you have problems please pm an Admin.

2.) Try your best to keep RP and IRL separate. Please keep in mind to not take IC interactions personally OOC. You will be muted if you do not follow.

3.) Finally, OCC (out of character) is different than IC (in character), meaning that the Rpers ideals and morals are not to be reflected in that of the expression/actions/and thoughts of the characters. Also IC drama is well appreciated but OOC is a big NO.

4.) There is to be no god-modding of any kind. This includes powerplay and meta-game. We also do not tolerate Mary-Sues. Follow the level of power of your kind. (Descriptions of both are below). If an Admin finds that you are offending this rule, please be understanding.

5.) Password is your favorite vampire novel/movie.

6.) Don’t be afraid to interact if your grammar and/or spelling isn't perfect. We all make mistakes and the more you write, the more you will improve!

7.)/NSFW themes are allowed (unless you and/or your muses are minors! They should atleast be of consent age. The age of consent is 16 years in 76 nations around the world. BUT a 16 year old muse MUSTN'T have ual activities with a muse more than 4 years older (20).).

a.) Almost all themes are allowed. Some exceptions are: godmodding, animal abuse, ia, and permanent death of a muse (they can be resurrected by one of the the Voodoo Bloodline).

b.) If you are unsure whether a certain theme is allowed, please feel free to ask.

c.) NSFW and other sensitive subjects, please ask your rp partner for their triggers and consent.

8.) Forbidden relationships must be approved by Admins, just send a pm to one of the Admins please.

9.) Please, NO FACE-CHASING. It is unfair to other rpers, and we would like you to be serious about your rp experience.

10.) Crossing territories must be approved by an Admin, your Royal, and the Royal of the other clan.

12.) Please favorite the roleplay. Upvoting is not necessary, but it is much appreciated!

Don'ts:

Do Not God-mod

God modding is when a character features god-like abilities, such as invincibility, mind control, or other unrealistic powers that might not fit with lore. Another form is when your character does something impossible that could kill them.

• Example: *Eric would grab the sharp edge of the sword with his bare hand, not having his palm or fingers cut in half.*

• Another example: *Luke would punch his opponent chest, despite it being covered with armor, it would break through and impale him despite not having any enhancement, or claw on him.*

Do Not Meta game

Meta gaming is when a player applies out of charter retrieved information to their in-character, such as having information that only several in-characters players knows, and you obtained it without having your character there or by just hearing it from others out of character.

-A player watches a role-play about a secret item (OOC), that only they would know. That said player would enter a role-play with them talking about the items, which his character can't know of.-

Do Not Power-play

Power-playing occurs when a player operates someone's character without the other player's consent.

The most blatant example of this would be a player writing:

"Your character falls off the cliff when he walks up to it."

As you can see, you take active control of what the other character does. Not only is this not fair to the other player, but it's also discouraged because often players will misconstrue the behaviors and personalities of characters they didn't design. Power playing goes into more subtle situations, however. Password: Human or Vampire. If Vampire which Bloodline?

"Sally charges towards Jack so fast that he wouldn't be able to react enough to avoid it,"

which can also be considered a violation of this rule since Sally's player has controlled Jack's abilities, possibly in a way that doesn't accurately represent his character.

Do Not Play Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus

A Mary-Sue is a specific kind of character that has a lot of feats, and no flaws.

• A character who’s too perfect, lacking flaws or whose flaws do not affect them in any ways.

• A character who’s far too powerful, especially whose abilities exceed that which is possible for his/her race or rank in the setting of the story. Particularly if said character has abilities that do not exist within the boundaries of the story’s world. Often these characters are technically legitimate, but are very, "Look at how unique and cool I am!"

Do Not Auto (Auto hit, Auto walk, etc)

Auto is when a player performs an action without giving the affected players a chance to respond to those around him.

• Example: *John stabs the him/her and walks away while he/she dies.*
