I'm announcing it here because I'm the kind of person who wants to discuss things and not leave something bothering others just hanging in the open.

First, this is an ooc announcement. I'm Taemin's rper. This goes out to confessor #1460 or anyone who has a problem with the way I handled things with the Mijoo incident. If you have anything to say, please tell me directly. The anon confession is not a place for ooc things.

Now you're gonna ask me why I had an ooc conversation with Mijoo if I think that the confessions is not a place for ooc. The answer is simple really. Mijoo was first to initiate the ooc talk. She was explaining how she thought differently from her character and so on. You can see that if you scrolled far enough to the beginning of the incident. I replied in two parts, one of my character's reply and another one in ooc. I felt that it would be disrespectful of me to not have a reply for her in ooc too because she was trying to tell me something.

She told me what she thinks, that her character's way of thinking is different from that of her own thoughts. I do not know what you found rude in what I replied to her. I responded simply and told her what I thought, just as how she told me hers. I told her that I'm upset for my character and that I know she thinks differently but she's still the person controlling her character, so somehow, she's still responsible for the things that her character is saying. 

Why did I say that? See, roleplayers sometimes blame everything on their characters. How their character thinks differently and so on, and they think that's an excuse to say anything. Realize this, we control our characters, we are the ones clicking the post button after all. If you don't want to start drama, think of what your posts will imply first before clicking on the button.

Again, like I said in my ooc reply to Mijoo's roleplayer, I think it's common courtesy to us roleplayers that we ask or tell the roleplayer of the other party if we want to have an in-character drama so things won't get out of hand. That is why I believed her when she said she wasn't trying to start anything.

I don't know what other people found rude with that conversation, but please tell me so I can clear it up because really, I was only responding to the things she told me. I posted this just to clear the air. It's not like I'd try to get back at you using my power as an admin. If you knew me at all, you'd know that I don't overuse that power. In my however long year here in this rp, I've never had a problem with someone in ooc. I am opinionated, yes, but I'd never verbally attack someone in ooc deliberately.
