Admin Yusaku here! It is now the Christmas season and, as promised, the auction is now open!
What that means is that no one else can register to join as registration is now closed. For those participating, should you find a reason that you would like to be and/or need to be removed, please, send a PM to me and I will remove you from the listing as soon as I can.
What that also means is that bidding season is open! To try and keep things organized and running smoothly, when you are ready to place a bid in either of the auction rooms, you will tag me, Admin (Master/†) Yusaku. All you need to do is tell me who you are bidding on and the amount of points you are bidding.
Some examples could be:
"I would like to bid 500 points for Jackson."
"200 points for Mark."
"Jaebeom, 30 points, please."
As long as I know who you are bidding for and the points, you are clear. Keep in mind that you are not allowed to make your next bid until your first bid has been cleared. I will reply to you that your bid has been accepted, meaning you are now able to tag me and bid again when you are ready.
For those that may not have experienced our auctions before, they can move pretty fast at times, especially when everyone is up all together. So, a few more things to keep in mind would be:
1. Please, do your best to not crowd/flood the room with small talk or arguing or anything of the like that are not bids. This is so that bids do not get buried in the midst of it all and confuse things.
2. When the room seems busy, if you can, it's suggested that you enable the live chat. It can move very quickly and I try to update as quickly as I can as well. This will ensure that you don't miss anything important. I only really recommend this if you choose to sit in the room and watch the bidding, not if you are placing your bid and leaving.
3. We are going to try and keep this running for a week or until the points are starting to run a little too thin to really continue. Please, keep in mind your points. You may ask me what you're current status is, especially if you are choosing to bid on more than one person, and I will do my best to try and calculate it for you. Keep in mind that once you are outbid for someone, your bid for that person become null, meaning any points you bid for them wouldn't be counted in a total points count for your bids.
4. Please, be kind. This auction is honestly just to help everyone kind of mingle. At the same time, there are no rules at all that those in a relationship cannot bid on one another and they are not forced to either. It is encouraged though to maybe bid on someone that you don't know or would like to get to know.
5. I will periodically update the highest bid and the bidder on each of the profiles in the auctions rooms. An example would be as follows:
Because of the limited amount of space in the profile, the highest bidder will be listed under the person's age and badge/ribbon colors while the highest bid (number of points) will be to the right of that, under the auction level that person has chosen.
