I am sorry for not being around much, but I promise to reply once or twice a week depending on my work schedule. It has come to my attention that some role-players are not tracking a few things from the roleplay, so I decided to make this announcement explaining a few things to make it easier. We have a page dedicated to our Lore/Plot, but I will explain something about it after you all read it. Below our Lore:
Long ago in a land far away Gods would mate with humans for entertainment, until one of their own fell deeply in love with a human. They had a beautiful baby girl and they named her "Aqua". As she grew older, she knew she was different, and the older she got, her resentment grew for those who are around her. She was bullied as a child and wanted freedom from the world. Her father Poseidon the God of the seas tried to talk to her to not let the dark emotions get the better of her, but Aqua didn't listen.
She destroyed her surroundings and Zeus, The God of Lightning, caught wind of the situation, saw the extent of Aqua's wrath and ordered her own father to destroy the monster he had created. Heartbroken by his older brother's command, Poseidon had to do the right thing and lost Aqua in the process of trying to break her free from the darkness. Before passing and disappearing into the waters, creating a beautiful river, her last wish was for him to build a place where people like her to have a place where they can be free and safe from any dangers.
To avoid history from repeating itself, the gods pledged to create the said place and thus, Verlympus was born, a place for the demi-gods to learn to control their powers, and then be sent free to the world, enacting on good faith and in line with their own laws and rules.
► Before I dive myself into this long announcement NO ONE is in trouble I just want to explain everything all at once instead of one person at a time. Please do not get offended, I am doing my job as head admin to take care of all of you and for you all to see my idea behind the roleplay. Yes, the roleplay has A BIT of Percy Jackson vibes, but our roleplay isn't fully based of it. Let me explain we are ALL our own characters, For those who are Gods and Goddess you all are SECOND hand chosen, which means you will create your own story on how you got selected or created and thats how you were born/seletected to be God/Goddess. Its FANTASY, so please be sure to understand that.
► "Hey Poseidon" My character name is Perth, he is Poseidon descendent. All Gods/Goddess are Immortal hence to why the background can be long since they are the current greek gods and goddess. I want to make this clear since someone (who shall not be name) talk to me calling me Poseidon, hence to why I had to explain this. I just don't want this confusing going around. I don't care what job you have for your God/Goddess they must be in some way related to the camp, why? because the campers aren't allowed technically to leave unless they have permission from the one of the counselors.
Quick Note: You may say in a fight especially with demi gods "Bring it on son of muses" or something like that, but don't call them "Muses" if your speaking to the character like the character has a name use it.
► If you have seleted Demi-Gods I will put this out there YOU ARE ALL STUDENTS until you graduate, once you graduate you can have a normal job and live in the normal world. However every single one has to go through camp, and we will have test to make sure you 'graduate' correctly. It will be an event every two months were demi-gods will fights and the top 2 winners graduate and the rest stay in school. On this note you are allowed to leave camp if you have a friends, or permission from the counselors, hell you can even try to 'escape' for a bit, but you must come back that is the rule.
Quick Note: Please mindful of what powers you choose, make sure that its accurate with the God/Goddess you have choosen. I have seen some application where I get confused, because the power choosen has nothing to do with their parents.
► Parents x Children relationship is a NO GO. You can mentor them, get a bit close to them, but not be their parent this will cause 'fluff/ crack/ drama and unwanted situations. I will tell you all this in a serious manner if this happens all parties will be kick out of the roleplay. We are avoiding unwanted drama, and we want everyone to understand this rule. You can be fluff or whatever in DM to yourself, but not in public.
► If the role-players that is playing whichever character is disrespecting your wishes PLEASE LET US KNOW (the admins) and we will set them straight. We will not allowed parent and children romantic relationship that's REALLY mess up don't ever ask me that. There will be NO PREGNANCY of any kind, so please DO NOT ASK.
► The OOC group is STRICTLY OOC do not take anything that is said there to heart, DO NOT MIX OOC AND IC in there, and THAT GROUP does not count for points, so I HIGHLY encourage everyone to re-read the rules for point system. Starting today we will be a lot more vigilant with Threats, if you do not meet the requirements you will be given a warning (unless your on hiatus/semi-hiatus).
► We will make a group when people start graduating that way everyone can see jobs available/students and stuff for everyone to keep track. Please understand that is our job to make sure everyone understands the storyline, Rules and our views all of our admins are available for anyone to talk to them. We will make a request group soon + Job list soon.
