we just got invaded!
Seems like the other camp eventually found out about our existence and now they are to invade us!
Kidding. Haha, hey guys! It's admin Krystal, talking OOC. LOL. Seems like the Romans are finally here, huh? Yes, we are now to have Roman people and a Roman camp in this RP. Exciting, huh? Well, Greeks cannot totally be completed without the Romans! Janus is a Roman god, yep. To those who haven't yet finalized their characterizations, you can still be a Roman. But to those who have completed their characterization... Pity. Nah, being Greek is just as awesome, isn't it?
Haha, honestly, the admins and I recently talked about it, and maybe I got too excited that I was able to finish it within a day. What, the idea of having Romans sounded so exciting that I just wanted to have them here. Though, yes, we might keep the Romans minimal, since majority of you guys know more about Greeks. Roman Mythology is confusing, yes. They made too many alterations on Greek Mythology that even creatures and monsters had Roman Equivalents, so it's kind of hard to memorize lol.
Though, us Greeks cannot just visit the other camp that easy. We may have acquired peace with the other camp - as of what I have made this RP - but there are still doubts on the other side. We may have called truce, but there may still be a few threats (Octavian won't let us get away that easily, you know!). In order to keep this peace and harmony with both sides without the separation and being distant, us admins made a monthly event for both sides to know more about each other - Greeks and Romans.
Yes, Greeks will stay Greeks. Romans will be Romans.
But a trade will be made. A trade for both sides, so campers of both camps will be given a chance to see each other's camps. Of course, though, you can still meet up with the Roman folks as Greeks - though, not just inside Camp premises. Either in Human world, or... somewhere else.
With this 'trade', we can roleplay on our desired Camp Jupiter rooms. This trade will last until the next monthly trade. Sounds fun? Yes, sounds fun. Very exciting indeed.
So this is how the trade will go.
— A camper must acquire at least 200 activity points to be able to join the monthly event.
It is for to know how much of a deserving camper you are to see the other side of the mirror.
— There will be a specific number of camper from Camp Half-Blood to be traded with the other camp.
It is for fair share of experiences. For example, if 5 from CHB goes, 5 will also be going from CJ.
— Your stay in Camp Jupiter/Camp Half-Blood will last for a month. The next month, you will move
back to your original camp, while another batch of other campers will be given their own chance.
This even will only take place once we have more Roman campers on the other side, though, so it'll be fair.
Though, why the trade of campers? It's for the exchange of Roman and Greek knowledge, and how things work at both camps. You may know what happens on both sides, OOC, but of course your IC needs to learn them as well! So as to keep the peace and harmony between the two races and keep the threat minimal, we decided to establish the trading.
I know, it's (kind of) confusing in some way, but as time passes, you'll get used to it! If you have any questions, do ask me, Admin Krystal, through PM. Any questions! I'll make sure to get back at you as soon as I can with the answers you seek.
