You guys should know about this, most importantly to those who ask for roleplays. A friend of mine had once told me about what we call the ‘roleplaying etiquette’.

Since we are in 3rd POV, we ask others to roleplay with us. So if you ask someone to roleplay with you, make it a point to post a starter, may it be long or short, and vice versa. I just notice that there are some roleplayers asking for roleplay, yet leaving the starter work to their roleplaying partner. I’m sure if you’re on your roleplaying partner’s shoes, you’ll most likely feel the same irritation. You asked to RP, right? Then be the one to start.

Also, when plotting with your partner, don’t just leave him/her to brainstorm. Think of something as well. Suggest ideas so he/she wouldn’t think you’re – excuse me for my term – boring. Sometimes, the lack of interest to RP with someone comes from having to plot all alone without the help of your supposedly roleplaying partner. Let’s not make anyone feel like that, yeah?

  pointing system

+ New roleplayers are given 100 AP for demigods, and 300 AP for gods and goddesses. There are times when I deduct points to some roleplayers (those who disobey rules), so I suggest you take good care of your points. You can purchase roleplay features using those!
+ Points are disabled in OOC rooms (OOC Room, Wishlist, Suggestions, Camp Directory, Camp Store, Abilities room, Dice Room).
+ Activity points are transferable. You may just contact any admin if you’d like to transfer points to anyone, and we’ll do the transaction.
+ You may gain points through participating in camp activities.
+ Using your activiy points, you may purchase abilities (the rare abilities we only allow roleplayers to use once they have purchased them using activity points). For more information, you may visit the "Abilities" room.

The following are some ways to earn activity points:
+ Upvoting the roleplay = 100 AP
+ Posting a suggestion = 25 AP
+ Doing camp activities = points depends on what activity you do
+ Joining as a character from the wishlist = 100 AP
+ Rolling the dice in the Olympian Lottery.

  hiatus

When you are a newbie, you cannot be on a hiatus right away. Let a week or two pass before you go into a hiatus. Given that you’re new, you must at least try to socialize with the others.

However, a hiatus has a maximum of two months only. A semi-hiatus, on the other hand, has a maximum of two weeks. Indefinite hiatuses are no longer allowed, as those who ask for an indefinite hiatus sometimes no longer has no plans of getting back to activity. Make sure if you go on a hiatus, that you follow the form in the Camp Directory. Remember to state the exact date of your comeback.

  inventory limit

We are putting a limit in the number of items in your inventory. For starters, you will have two inventory slots: one slot for a main weapon, the other for any magical item. This is so that we will all be fair in terms of creating our inventories, since I've noticed some are putting in too much unnecessary items into their items. If you want to add one more item, but your current slots are in use or full, you may purchase a slot in the camp store. An inventory slot costs 200 AP. You may only acquire free inventory slots if a god/goddess gives you a gift; and no, I'm not talking about godmodded gods and goddesses. I'm talking about the ones who are roleplayed by other roleplayers.

  the lottery room

The Lottery Room will appear in random times. If you're lucky, you might be online when we open the lottery room. Only those who happen to come across the lottery room will be able to roll the dice. But don't be so sure of your luck! You may either gain or lose points in the lottery room. Apparently, Nemesis does not favor Tyche being all too nice to demigods. So good luck, campers. If Tyche's on your side, you might gain some points. If not, be prepared to lose some.

  contacts with gods/goddesses

You may not write in your background how you had contact with the gods. You can't say you're raised underwater, for a child of Poseidon, or in the Underworld, for a child of Hades, nor cared for by other deities, major or minor ones. Given that gods in this roleplay are not supposed to be godmodded, you may not godmod the gods. If you feel hesitant about your writing, feel free to consult an admin so we can review your profile. Admins may grant you permission to godmod the gods only if you ask us and if you give us a valid reason.

  abilities

Please keep it in mind that there are some abilities that may only be added into your profile once purchased by activity points. For starters, you may only take those that are not in premium. This limits a roleplayer in making their characters too powerful.

  weaknesses

Don't make your character too powerful to the extent that he or she is almost invulnerable. There's a reason why we half-bloods are called DEMI gods and not gods. We still have mortal blood running in our veins, which makes us vulnerable. I don't really require you to put your weaknesses in your profile if you want to keep it confidential and for other roleplayers to find out once they roleplay with you. I would just like to remind you that you should not make your character invincible.

  announcement and admin notices

With the OOC room being the frequently visited room, this is where we, admins, would be posting recent updates. So make sure to always check out the OOC room.

Also, if a certain admin posts an announcement, it is compulsory that you guys post/comment on the announcement saying that you have read it. It is for us to know that you know what the announcement is about, and that you’ll be able to comply. Failure to doing so will lead to deduction of points (those who are in hiatus are excused, though).
