Centuries ago there existed only chaos between the four kingdoms: Kronos, Myrador, Zoraq and Aeris. Only when the four kingdoms agreed to lay down arms and created the Treaty of Harmony did peace finally settle among the lands. In this time of peace each kingdom thrived and grew to even greater heights than before; but with this newfound success came sickly greed. King Helias of Kronos was blinded by his desire to conquer the other three kingdoms and take their riches and resources as his own. For the first time since its creation the Treaty of Harmony was broken as King Helias instructed the forces of Kronos to invade the neighboring kingdom of Zoraq. What followed is known as the Battle of Perfidy, a grueling three week period of blood and death that ultimately ended with the assassination of King Helias. To this day it is unknown who managed to kill him, and where their loyalty lies. Now, nearly a year after this breaking of the treaty, tensions are frought as the possibility of a new imperial war looms just beyond the horizon.
