/!\ mentions of suicide and depression

It's almost 2AM, and I should be translating my fic, but this just popped up in my mind and I kind of wanted to talk about it.

3-4 years ago, I was in an rp with its own website, and it was great. I made so many great friends there, and I still talk to them today.

Everything was going well, aside from an argument I had with the main admin (I later found out the two admins were literally full of ), yada yada yada.

I stayed in the rp for nine months, until something huge blew up.

We had just relocated, and I had asked a certain, let's call him Baek, who rped as Sehun at the time, if he was down to rp. Baek had been there before I joined the rp, so around 2012, and he was very good friends with the admin. He was actually the very first person I messaged when I joined. He left for a while, then came back. All the girls were p much going crazy for him, since he was a cute Korean dude.

So, that night, March 29th 2014, precisely, I received an apology message from the main admin. I opened it, and my heart sank.

Baek was dead.

The message was cold, without much information. I was shocked, and I texted my (rl) friend who also got the message. She was shocked, too. We proceeded to tell all our other friends who didn't receive the message and were kinda close to Baek.

Now, you may think this was us being immature (we were 12-15 yo at the time), but we asked the main admin for more details, and why some of us had been left out of the message. She basically told us to off, calling us immature and stuff (she was 22). Maybe we were being immature, but looking back, I think it was us sensing bull.

So, we created a group chat, and did all the things we could to find out more about Baek's death. But, we couldn't find anything. I guess it was our own way of grieving. So, we gave up, we all left the rp because the admin was ty, and I think they suffered from that since they were in the process of relocating, and we were like 7, all very active, and pretty much the mood makers. Later on, in an other argument, the main admin told us we'd "ruined the rp".

Fast forward to late 2014.

I posted a blog on AFF, and someone commented. Their username was familiar, so I asked them if, by any chance, she used to be in that rp. Turns out that she did, so I told her who I was, and she was like. "Omg! I'm Baek's sister, he was telling me about you and everyone else just the other day!"

Hold up--

So, he wasn't dead. I pmed her, and it turns out that Baek had been really depressed, tried committing suicide, and decided to pretend he was dead. Obviously, we were all very upset, but decided to be understanding. That was the only thing we could do, right? And we were all happy to hear he was alive. For new years, we made a small project of letters, drawings, and voice recording to cheer him up (after all, his sister did mention that he thought of us), and I sent it. A few weeks later, that AFF account became inactive.

I don't know what the moral of this story is.

Wow, that's a pretty confusing and heartbreaking situation, especially with such mean admins. I'm really sorry that happened to you.
