Hansol - or "Vernon" as he rather likes to be called - never had a perfect family; he grew up with an abusive stepfather who used excessive drugs and alcohol. He and his mother were subject to daily beatings until his father just shot his mother in front of Hansol one day during an argument. From that day, Hansol lived in a constant hellhole - his father moved from abuse to and Hansol lost his ity to his stepfather at the mere age of nine.
Hansol was taken out of school, he lost contact with all of his friends and was kept at home where his stepfather constantly him. It grew worse when he reached his teens - his stepfather would bring his friends over to the house where he was subjected to even more ual humiliation as well as made to steal from others.
When he turned 17, Hansol snapped and murdered his stepfather whilst the man was asleep before escaping. He made his way to Seoul where he continued to steal and murder for 3 more years till he was caught by police...
