Kim Mingyu spent the first 19 years of his life growing up in an area that could no more accurately be described as a "shanty town," with his mother, father, and younger sister. The entire village where he lived struggled from day one, so as a child, he never knew a better life was possible for him. He could see tall skyscrapers from his tiny village, but his parents forbade him from venturing out of the village ever since he was a small child. Living in squalor allowed him to learn a few notable skills, his best being adept at general handiwork. Multiple times a week he would walk along the outer part of the village searching for trash and scraps he could tinker with. One day, his curiosity got the best of him and he decided to go against his parent's best wishes and try to check out the area between his vtiny illage and the big city after dark. The last thing he remembers from that day is seeing a creature lunge at him from the shadows... (more to be added.)
