Jung Ilhoon wasn't anything special at all. He never had been. Growing up, it had been him, his mother and father, and his older sister. Like his sister, he grew up a kid of poverty for the most part. His parents weren't at all rich so he'd done nothing but become used to living on the budget that his parents could manage. Public schooling wasn't so bad and, thankfully, he'd managed to attend a lot of after-school art programs, one of which in particular opened up the opportunity for him to become an intern at a bakery in the city. Thanks to his competence and natural niche for the art, he rose up in the ranks little by little, making his way up to Chief Baking Assistant of the bakery, right under the owner. This job gave him money that he and his family never imagined they would be able to have to take care of themselves.

Because no good things really last, one day, Ilhoon was returning to the bakery after a delivery, a delivery that had taken him five hours to make on a round trip. His boss trusted no one but him to make the delivery successful. He made it back around closing time to find his boss in some sort of meeting, along with a cake mix where things that he was sure weren't supposed to go into it were definitely being mixed into the batter. Caught by some others sitting in on the meeting, he grabbed his things and ran for his life, too unsure as to just what they were going to do to him. Going to work the next day, Ilhoon tried to keep up the facade that he wasn't terrified of just what kind of business their bakery and cafe were into but part of him couldn't deny that it made sense considering what he was getting paid. Part of him wondered if he'd made and delivered drug cakes at some point without even knowing, making him a possible accomplice to whatever crime in which his boss and his boss' partners were involved. Soon though, he started skipping out on going to work because of the tense atmosphere. Thankfully, he'd saved up more than enough money for any necessities he and his family may need while he was on "paid vacation."

He finds the men in his house one day. Admittedly, he doesn't remember all too well just what had happened to him but he knows he was given some sort of baked dessert. The smell of it still haunts him in his dreams sometimes; there are even times that he can smell it just walking around. It's the sweet, delicate yet strong scent of vanilla that drives him into unconsciousness. It's when others should start to run if he ever says he can smell vanilla. The drug he was once given can cause him to act like a madman, namely when Sora is actually in control.

kita sora

Kita Sora isn't a new identity for Ilhoon. Not really. Sora has a history of making appearances, a coping method that had been born to deal with the kids bullying Ilhoon at school for various things. He made up the name as a young kid, as his imaginary friend, and then it progressed into something interal, an imaginary friend living inside of him that he can't get rid of. Ever since ending up under protection, he can easily pretend that he's Sora but there are times when Sora actually makes his entrance. It's not easy to tell just who he is because they are very close in demeanor. Sora is the one that put Ilhoon in the program.

about / history

Ilhoon is a very sweet and playful yet timid person. He doesn't like to draw attention to himself but is open to holding a conversation when prompted. He is polite and proper but, unintentionally, has the habit of acting like a little kid sometimes, like a toddler to be exact, namely around those with whom he feels comfortable.

Sora isn't all that different from Ilhoon, but he's not as shy; he is simply introverted. He has a tendency to watch those that Ilhoon comes in contact with and immediately puts himself in control when he feels Ilhoon is being threatened in any way, shape, or form. The best way to describe Sora is silent but deadly.

You've caught his attention. Come now. Don't be silly. You don't know just whose attention you've caught now, do you? I wouldn't say it's anything to be afraid of but it's something to be very cautious about. The real Kita Sora, dwelling inside of Ilhoon. He's the ones that's mesmerized by you. He's constantly following you around, taking pictures of you, and writing about you. If you didn't know any better, you'd think him nothing but a lost puppy. Sora tends to be quite possessive. Please, don't think you'll escape his clutches that easily.

+ warnings: stalking and possible violence..

shy [ open ]

You don't know a thing about him. Nor does he know a thing about you. It's okay. It's nothing strange between strangers. He introduces himself as Sora. It's just the beginning though. You wake up in bed next to him one morning. You remember everything but he doesn't. He doesn't have a clue who you are, but he says that you look vaguely familiar and starts calling you by the name of someone he remembers from when he was younger. You think it's a joke but you sense he may really be telling the truth. Now, he's not the only one confused. You remind him of someone that once broke his heart, which is why Sora won't let you get close to him. Ilhoon's lost between the throes of his memories, reality, and what Sora is telling him. Will you leave like Sora wants or fight for a chance to know the "Sora" you thought you were getting to know?

+ warnings: violence. possibly strong violence.

familiar [ open ]

You recognize Ilhoon and he recognizes you. You two have a heavy past all your own. You know about him and you know about the real Sora, the one that drove you away. Ilhoon was so struck with you that Sora saw you as nothing but dangerous, a threat to Ilhoon's possibilities in the future. He was willing to go the extra mile for you, over and beyond, but Sora stopped every and anything he could, every chance he got. You want Ilhoon back in your grasp again. You're older and wiser but so is Sora.

+ warnings: strong ual content. possible violence. possible strong violence. possible mentions of self-harm.

01 Timezone: EST/GMT +5.

02 Please, read my profile before asking to roleplay with me. I've worked really hard on it. Plus, believe me, you'll want to.

03 I honestly prefer third because I really enjoy building up a story but some of my replies may be slow because I end up using my phone or tablet a lot to do replies.

04 I love to roleplay but, I will be very honest. I have a tendency to disappear sometimes. My mind does weird things to me and I don't like it.

05 If you poke me or try to remind me and I don't respond within that day or the next, you can find other ways to reach me on my profile page.

06 I'm open to just about anything when it comes to roleplay, really. Just give me ideas and we can brainstorm together.

07 I'm not sure if I missed anything but just ask me if you have any questions.
