ABOUT ME. Minhyuk has lived at the camp for ten years or so, having stumbled upon some demigods that were headed there as well. He doesn't remember much of his past. He can only recall flashes of memory before a migraine starts to grow at the base of his skull, and expands until he can't focus on anything but the pain. The reason for this absence of memory, though, is because he witnessed his mother being brutally murdered by some mythical beast Minhyuk had prayed was just a monster that slept under his bed. He was only eight at the time and had no idea what to do. He barely managed to escape the beast and had been on the run until he found a place at Camp Half-Blood when he was ten.
Ten years at the camp allowed Minhyuk to build more of a confidence in himself and his powers, which he originally had no control over whatsoever. There was quite the learning process, though, because his emotions would go on a roller coaster, and he would lose control. Now, he is a head counselor for the Zeus cabin, and does his best to help the campers in any way they need because he knows how it feels to not know what to do with oneself.
