cjamm joined the United States Army, when he was 18, it was easy at that age because his father worked in military agency and there he earned high position. cjamm showing his fast learning skills quickly joined the Army Special Forces, at age 22 which is a unusually young age for Army SOF. He then joined the CIA and worked as Paramilitary officer. earning high position, being sent to to secret cases just to keep united states safe. he was known as ryu at first as in dragon but because eveyone soon called him korea's traitor he soon claimed the name cjamm. his life wasn't perfect and he thought he got everything he needed. power, aprecciation, honor awards just because he was good at surviving, finding ways to live even in desparate situations, being caught and tortured, becoming a bait at few missions. he done a lot. he got few tattoos when being caught by traitors it had a meaning of a traitor but soon jamm covered his body in many tattoos to the point when people didn't even notice the one who has became his weakness. tattooed chest, arms yet the back was left untouched as it collected various kind of scars that could no longer fade. scars from burning, stabbing, whipping. he had lots of them. that's why no matter his beautiful tattoos the man prefered wearing a shirt. even with painful memories like that he could call his life the desirable one, he enjoyed it still. and then...
he was involved in the terrorist attack, the situation was hard to read, jamm noticed too late that he was being played with and became the victim and great camera prey that played so well that in the end he was accused as terrorist himself. jamm couldn't bring back the thousand people that died in the building so they could proof him right, all agents and officers turned their back at him too.
"even if it's not the case, and you're innocent, you are still a ticking bomb for us, cjamm, you're the most impulsive and dangerous out of here, we have to stay on guard around you always" the sergant he got along spoke to him and ryu understood, they were being racist. they didn't only fear his impulsive behavior but that he might turn towards korea and betray them.
jamm's father was poisoned soon after when jamm denied being a victim of terrorist attack and threatened his group to expose their missions if they don't allow him to be as he was.

he is like a lost puppy in this world actually, he is used to world with guns (of course he still has some/coughs/yeah right in his apartment), bombs, intense situations and used to being on guard to check if anyone would literally stab him in the back. one time when he was in the bar and someone said as a joke watch out so someone wouldn't backstab you and ryu actually jumped, picked up his seat and smashed it into a man behind him. he is actually weak and fragile inside, innocent to the big world, his both and are s because there was no time to focus on them even when he went to school.
