There's nothing really remarkable about Sakura's past. Growing up as the older of two siblings to a somewhat wealthy Japanese couple, the young female had lived a rather comfortable and quiet life, surrounded by people who adored her. Doted on by her parents, they tried their best to pull the timid girl out of her shell, offering all different kinds of activities for her to choose from in hopes that their daughter would start to befriend other kids with the same interests. 

Much to their joy, despite Sakura's bookworm tendencies, the little girl did show interest in theater and musicals, eventually asking her parents to send her to vocal classes. Despite not being the best singer around, she enjoys music, using her own voice as a means to convey feelings. During elementary school she had her first theater play which ended in a whole disaster, the poor girl freezing to the spot, unable to move or utter any sound. It was a major setback, her dreams of one day being part of a theater production seemingly shattered. 

It took her parents months of coaxing, before Sakura would return to the theater again. With a newfound confidence, albeit it being rather frail, she successfully wrapped up her first ever stage play, gradually snatching more and more important roles, both inside and outside of school, he biggest achievement being playing the part of Nala in a musical production of The Lion king.

Somewhere along the line though, she realized that standing in the limelight isn't for her, the safety of the dim lights behind the stage feeling much more comfortable. Still, Sakura just couldn't give up on acting yet. It was then, at the age of 15, that she was introduced to voice acting, a whole new world opening up to her. Acting with her voice alone, moving people's hearts just by spoken words. How wonderful it sounded. With a newfound dream, there was nothing that could hold her back any longer. Going from audition to audition, the young female had to experience countless of rejections, before finally landing her first job doing a voice-over for a TV ad.

since then Sakura has been active as a voice actress, doing jobs ranging from radio and TV ads, to narrations for stage plays and audio books to even lending her voice to characters in animations and games. 

starting to study Korean in her first year of middle school, she's fluent in the language and has been visiting the country of the fast growing idol industry almost every summer for the past few years, living there for the past three years while travelling back and forth between South Korea and Japan for different jobs.
