✱ was used by her parents as a business tool, since they owned beauty clinics all around the city
✱ grew up rich and lashed out on her classmates a lot because of how she's been treated at home, was a popular girl who was mean-spirited and ruled over her classmates with an iron fist and liked to "curse" them and they got sick after. they didn't know about her powers.
✱ changed her ways when one of her teen tirades (very emotional) accidentally killed one of her classmates, she's been carrying the guilt since then. always attempting to redeem herself and wants to be an actual hero with the powers she has.
✱ her name and face are still attached to her actions as a teenager, people won't let her forget it even if she actively helped the family of her victim. they basically cancelled her and won't let her forget it.
✱ changed from her old dermatologist assistant job because she hates her parents for using her since she was a kid, became a beauty guru since she actually knows what would work for people's skin. her reputation gets better. her business is her way to get away from her parents financially, and she's made a name for herself.
✱ despite what her hero colleagues say about her excellent healing skills, she never wants to be a nurse or in any medical field as her day job. carrying all that pain and healing people so much might actually kill her.

✱ weaknesses

biokinesis.
i. her powers are tied to her emotions, the stronger her feelings the better they work. she can heal people better if she’s feeling a strong emotion, if she’s feeling numb or too calm, the effect isn’t good, which is terrible if someone is wounded in combat.
ii. even if pana can control body processes (including her own), fainting, dizziness and migraines caused by using her powers too hard cannot be *easily* cured and she usually must endure it until they pass naturally.
iii. using her power at super high levels drains her, at worst making her faint or become dizzy. healing small wounds and burns is fine, healing serious injuries she can get a headach or worse.
iv. her powers' psychic reach is only about 15-20 meters, any farther than that it's hard for her to affect people. if she attempts to incapacitate someone too far away, she weakens herself just by pushing to that distance psychically.
v. during serious situations where her typical healing of others via biokinesis isn’t fast or potent enough, she can choose to ‘carry’ their pain inside her but only for a few minutes. grave injuries will be gone from the person she is helping but she will suffer until they get out of her 15-20 meter range. there is a chance she may lose consciousness carrying someone’s pain for too long.
vi. she needs a fair amount of knowledge of someone’s anatomy and internal processes to heal them faster (or make them sick in however way she needs to), so for humans it’s easy since there’s lots of resources on how they work. for someone like a hero that she hasn’t met before with a different physiology or a different internal structure, she may take a few minutes to half an hour just to get their ‘setup’ by being nearby.
vii. the negative after effects of her biological alterations on other people (for an attack or defense) are shorter than normal. she can induce a fever or vomiting but it won’t last as long as the normal natural kind unless she’s in range of the receiver.

personal speed healing factor.
i. she can heal very very quickly (even minor things like acne scars for clear skin) since she is in control of her body’s processes but while healing herself in combat, she sacrifices a bit of her power potency by not healing people around her, causing a slight delay in life-or-death situations. her external biokinesis powers are weaker if she heals herself first.
ii. she cannot heal herself quickly if she is actively and aggressively trying to use her biokinesis powers on someone else. she can only choose between one because both powers are taxing on her mind.
