Background: For as long as he can remember himself, Seho had spent the vast majority of his childhood in a Gisaeng house. Unlike the other orphans, he'd noticed that the Madam who was responsible of them was especially strict with him and not just because of his peculiar personality. It had something to do with his origins as everyone said. However, there were several other reasons that justified her intolerance towards him which included his tendency to steal valuable and non valuable items with every chance he got in a seemingly random manner. Not only did he fail every single lesson of hers like calligraphy, singing and poetry, but he was also a threat for the whole establishment's reputation when he chose to steal something from a yangban customer. He wasn't surprised when they told him to pack his things and leave, once he was of age. Ever since, he's worked as a servant where his talent to make random things vanish was picked up on by a stranger who made a deal with him and later on promoted him as an entertainer. At first, they called him a juggler in the small towns he performed. It didn't take long before he learnt to use his charms and other unethical means to climb up the social ladder. From a mere juggler he rose in popularity with his name even reaching the high society in the capital who referred to him as a magician. Despite enjoying the recognition and using the advantages that came along with it to the fullest, his one true aim involves finding his family's whereabouts, hoping the exposure will eventually get him there. In the meantime, the fact that he hasn't been caught stealing yet as he slips from one trouble to another, feeds his ego to the point of recklessness when it's out of pure luck how he manages to get away with his head intact while messing with the royals. It's no secret that in order to keep his position, he's known to serve various masters since the events he's performing are often associated with political figures and their scandalous life. There are various speculations about his beliefs but the truth is that his loyalty lies with no one, he's just going with the flow and accepting every challenge without a second thought as if it's a matter of pride. He may be good at following directions but some things that may be common sense to some, aren't that crystal clear to him which makes him appear off putting especially to women who've tried to make him court them before. One of them once told him:
"You have a man's body but the mind of a child."
A physician who once checked him back when he was in the gisaeng house referred to his apathy as some kind of trauma response and his slow brain was somehow able to remember the exact words so he answered her in a shameless, casual manner.
"It must be the trauma."

Personality: While performing he appears charismatic and charming but in everyday life he can be easily manipulated and taken advantage of due to how clueless he is about life. He can follow any orders he's given without caring much about being paid afterwards. His main aim is to stick with yangbans and increase his popularity hoping that one day his family might reach out to him. People who meet him may perceive him as awkward or even a bit rude because he may unintentionally not filter his words from time to time and just be blatantly honest like a child. He tends to become obsessed with various things that catch his attention but due to past abuse his body struggles to respond to any form of physical intimacy because he dissociates.

a cheonmin clan consisting of household nobis, who chose this path to escape crushing poverty and are known for their good relations with yangbans for years, often residing near them in Sunchang, Jeolla-do. under unknown circumstances the current living members of the family moved back to Yeongam after rumors of improper behaviors and scandalous affairs surfaced. not much is known about their whereabouts ever since, as they remain isolated from the public eye and are believed to engage with farm labor as non-resident nobis, still tied to their yangban master despite the speculated family conflict between them.
